We had the seafood - whitefish, shrimp and oysters. Everything was prepared perfectly and was delicious. The shrimp, my favorite, tasted great! We had a very pleasant visit with the owner. So glad we found this hidden jewel!

After a spell with poor staffing and getting everything wrong, they are really kicking! Got catfish dinner take out yesterday. It was soon good! We went back today to eat in and they did not disappoint! Really good catfish and I know it is weird but the ranch dressing was awesome! I'm picky about my dressing. Great job!

This place is amazing. Out there all by it’s self you might guess that the food would be mediocre at best. DON’T GUESS!! They have the best shrimp and batter(homemade)from there east to Galveston as far as we’re concerned. That’s what my wife had ever night we drove out there. I had the red fish with lemon Pepper and ordered that every time and add 6 shrimp for 6 bucks and couple nights. Salad dressing are homemade all of them with BIG baked potatoes cheese sour cream and REAL BUTTER. Great down home people. Really friendly. Anytime we mentioned them no matter where we were- Blessing , Palacio everyone said, oh yes they have good food. We love hamburgers but we just couldn’t change 😁 the RedFish lemon pepper is awesome. The menu is breakfast on one side of 8x11 paper and lunch/dinner on the other in regular print-the selection’s were endless!! And the best dang FLAGPOLE for the best dang FLAG ever!!

Drove out to find this little gem after seeing a burger that a friend of mine had ordered from them. The drive was cute and peaceful. The restaurant/store itself was charming with a good environment. We ordered the Flakey Breakfast (biscuits with sausage gravy) with a side of hash browns and cakes. Everything was delicious and undoubtedly homemade. I look forward to heading back out there to try the lunch menu.

Michael and his father are good people. Sam is absolutely amazing, by far their best cook! The entire staff always does their best to go above and beyond to give you a personalized and wonderful experience. They even will go as far as customizing your order to fit your dietary needs (I'm prediabetic, so I can't have too many carbs or sugar, and they ensure my meals act accordingly). It seems like they're always expanding and growing, both in their menu and services. They have a coffee station coming soon where you can buy whole beans or use their grinder to grind them before you leave the store! I'm a coffee nut, so I cannot wait for that! We have never had a bad experience here and visit at least twice a week! So great to have a restaurant in our area!

We were a little lost when we first walked in. There were two young ladies at the register. We were not greeted or spoken to. We followed one to another counter with a menu. Still no greeting or How can I help you? We ordered and was asked questions about sides. Food was really good and filling. I was told they were out of the homemade chips ans had to ask forbour appetizer and coleslaw. The only friendly greeting we heard was to a man by a gentleman that came out-of the kitchen. That would have been wonderful to have received that greeting when we arrived.

The waitress wanted to take them back but, even if they cooked them more they still would have not been chewable. The appetizers and sides were good. Will stick to catfish and burgers there from now on.

Food is okay but service needs improvement. Servers are always on their phones and forget to bring customers anything else they asked for. After server said they would be back with my extras and silverware I sat there for 10 mins so I went to check and she was just standing there on her phone. Horrible service. Plus the servers do not bring menus to the tables or take your order from the table you have to go up and order which isn't a big deal but I've seen people sitting for a good 15 mins before realizing no server is coming to take their order. So for first time customers it is confusing. Salads are premade on plates. A fresh salad doesn't take that much time to throw together it just seems lazy to not have a fresh salad be prepared for customers. Ever since they expanded the restaurant the service has gone down tremendously. I love supporting local businesses and these things I'm pointing out should be improved for better overall customer experience.

Then when my order had a mess up there were 4 to 6 people back in the kitchen at a time (I only know this because I counted them coming in and out) Two of the girls in the kitchen I could see through the window just talking and looking on their phones together. One of them had the nerve to tell another employee to go do her job which she was one of two employees I actually seen working she was running back and forth from the kitchen to the store fixing orders and checking people out at the register then went to the restaurant side to clean up that's when the one from the kitchen told her to go do her job. The other employee was cleaning and organizing the store side while also working the register. All in all it didn't seem like the employees were very organized and nysnc with each other. Tension coming from the kitchen side to the store side and in return Tension from the store side to the kitchen. Overall not a good experience just going to pick up a to go order by the time they fixed the mess up and we got home our fries and other food were cold.

Prices have increased drinks and fries aren’t included and you have to add everything on. The lady at the register was trying to up-sale us by adding everything even though I stated I didn’t want a side… she kept saying “are you sure” Then after you order at the counter they stare you down for a tip which is fine we tipped appropriately but if you tip you expect to get a “service”… so tell me why when I asked her for silverware after I got my own drink and sauces at the self serve station she was telling me where to go grab it as she just brought me my food… Thankfully another lady that worked there stepped in to grab it for us.. Also we got the all you can eat cat fish and asked for the second order and they forgot to put it in… so we waited forever. What a joke.

Not sure what happened since the first time we dinned there but the service was horrible and the table next to us was served spoiled meat, which was confirmed by the cook. We bragged about how great our visit was the first time to our friends who where with us on this visit. To make matters worst, we went to get coffee from the coffee maker and got tea.

I go to this place everyday I wish I could afford to eat there 7 years ago I got rib eye steak ,cfs sandwich,and it was at 20$ now I wait on myself if I bring a guest for dinner get so embarrassed last time only coule in restaurant at 4,:30 ordered seafood combo late fried or grilled very expensive I have no teeth said grilled fish came out fried forgot my coleslaw forgot my baked potato no shrimp I waited over 1 hour 3 minutes 1 fish 5 minutes later 1 coleslaw 20 minutes later 3 shrimp still not grilled fried luckily my guest ordered the special needless to say he paid like 27$ for my meal by the time I got each individual I ordered he lived 2 hours away the whole experience was exhausting and never did he come back
