The Sanity Mug is a wonderful coffee spot for anyone looking for a sweet treat or a little pick me up! Spent 3 days in Port Lavaca and stopped here each day, eager to try something new, although my boyfriend is fiercely loyal to their sweet & creamy frozen matcha! I did find my new favorite, though - a frozen mocha with some peppermint and chocolate chips. These add-ins are not super visible on the main menu, but the owner and baristas are friendly and very willing to answer any questions to help you customize your drink!

We did not try any food, just coffee, which was excellent. The staff was very friendly. They were efficient without making you feel rushed. I very much prefer a small coffee place like this over the chains.

Excellent coffee and tea. Many different varieties. I had peppermint coffee with milk. Nice flavor. Also, we had one of the many tea flavors and it was carefully prepared and good to savor over a long conversation. Highly recommended for a coffee or tea. A drive through allows quick pickup for any of the drinks. The owners are obviously serious about their business and service. Will be back.

Mr. Smith and his team won me over on my first visit! So nice, personable, and curtious, and the coffee is amazing! I visited at least twice a day when I was in Port Lavaca...I'll be there for business going forward, and this is my new favorite coffee spot!!

Stopped here on our way to Corpus, the coffee was great, excellent selection to choose from but the service was even better. Sweetest people ever, and Miss Daisy was even sweeter. She just melted my heart. Definitely a place worth stopping !! We made sure to mark Odessa on their map :)

To having a pin board that shows customers that have been in the shop from all over the world. And all the cool little succulents growing and little garden gnomes. The atmosphere has such a great vibe. Service was great even to walking the drinks over to us vs calling from a counter. Anytime we are in the area we will be returning!
