Went to Musashi Exotic Japanese Cuisine and we absolutely loved every single item we ordered. We tried the eel avocado sushi, takoyaki, onigiri, Musashi special ramen, and for dessert the matcha crème brûlée and dorayaki—everything was outstanding. The rice was incredibly fresh and soft, honestly unbelievable. The food was melting in our mouths. Hands down, this was the best ramen I’ve had and the best takoyaki in America. The desserts were fresh, light, and perfectly refreshing. We loved every dish and finished everything. The staff was very polite, professional, and helpful in guiding us with our choices, which made the experience even better. On top of that, they have rare anime figures inside the restaurant, which was such a cool and unique touch. We’ll definitely be coming here often. If you love authentic Japanese food, you will absolutely love this place. 🍜✨
Our first time ever trying authentic Japanese cuisine and we wanted to start with the best. We really liked the grilled salmon meal and ramen, as well as desserts and appetizers. Portions are good-sized, probably small if you are used to large serving sizes, but for us it was ideal. Despite trying new foods and flavours we did not feel bad like after trying other authentic cuisines. We actually really enjoyed every bit of our meals! Everything there was cute, tiny and home-like. I even got the first ever candle in my life for my birthday. 🥹 I love this attention to details, the taste of the food and service. We also got some Japanese souvenirs there. We will be back for sure! (Was so busy with my food that I forgot to take a picture of it, only took a video of my little candle)
It was a very nice and cozy atmosphere, with some smooth claming music in the back. the tsukemen and vegetable tempura i got was great, same goes for the waiter natalie.
Our family of five adults really enjoyed the food here. We will return. Two of our five had been here at the end of April 2025. Based on their experience, we all wanted to try it when the five of us were together in May of 2025.
My ultimate, most favorite place to get sushi. I’ve been coming here for years and WILL NOT go anywhere else to get sushi. Everything is fresh and handmade. The prices are great for the quality of food you receive as well. Decent size portions! The owners and staff are great! I recommend the asparagus or shrimp tempura sushi rolls, miso soup, truffle edamame dumplings and green tea ice cream!
Omg, I love this place! My husband loves coming here for their authentic ramen and I love coming here for their sushi. The ramen is definitely the best out of all the places we have tried. Owners are Japanese so their food and quality is quite on point. Their green tea ice cream are delicious too, not those milky matcha ice cream out there. Such a great restaurant still has a few negatives. This mom and pop is quite small and spaces are tight. I did not even plan to push my stroller inside. That’s how limited the spaces are. Another down side is they changed the way customers placed their order. Back then servers come to your table, now they require the customer to get up and head to the cashier in to place their order, which I think isn’t a smart idea. With this little walk room and tables with bench, definitely not a convenient way to their customers. Imagine you have a party of 4, best way would probably be one person ordering for the table instead of everyone trying to squeeze out of their seat and cramp themselves in that tight narrow walkway. Even with that being said, I believe I would still return here for their ramen and delicious food.
A hidden gem tucked away in a shopping strip, this place boasts fresh authentic Japanese fare and a cozy atmosphere. The only thing I would warn about for on-site dining is to make a reservation ahead of time if you can, as their dine-in seating is limited and they will prioritize reservation holders over walk-ins.
Food was fantastic. Not the run of the mill sushi place. Lots of manga hanging on the walls and shelves full of collectibles. Really eclectic decor that keeps you occupied. 5 out of 5 food.
One of the best Japanese restaurants in Bucks County and the only Japanese owned sushi restaurant in bucks county. Everything is made fresh by trained sushi master chefs and shipments of fresh fish are brought in daily. For the time being reservations are required, but it's definitely worth it for the experience. Prices are extremely reasonable for the great service provided and the environment is very airy but also cozy.
Don't be fooled by the location or size, I had an Amazing experience...from the warm welcome from the owner, to the friendly service from our waitress, to the absolutely delicious food! My sister and I enjoyed ourselves and ate until our tummies were content! We shared the deep fried spicy tuna stuffed avocado appetizer and vegetable gyoza...I had the seafood ramen and a dragon roll! So good!!! Not to mention all of the authentic Japanese trinkets for purchase (chopsticks, fans, anime shirts/framed artwork, etc)... I'll be going back very soon!
Got Linner on Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed it very much. Raman was delicious, cucumber rolls were tasty, Gyoza had nice flavor and good crisp along with katsu bite. Wife got salmon rolls, and mini soupy pork buns...don't ask just order.. so good...will be back..
Authentic Japanese food made by a famous Japanese Iron Chef. Good food will be prepared with heart and the best material. It will take time to have the best food. So be patient. If you are in a rush to have food, you better go to the other restaurant. This place is serving cuisine but not fast food.
Just wow. Amazing food, great service, and there is way too much to look at. I could spend hours just sorting through shirts and looking at knick nacks. Pictured are the pork butt soup dumplings. Cause the sushi was so good I ate it before a photo.

Absolute gem in this area for sushi and don't have to travel to far.

10/10 experience here always! Sushi is fresh, with the perfect ratio of rice to fish. The atmosphere is super homey. Truly the best in Bucks/Montco!
Always good and fresh. Best sushi in the area. Not a lot of variety but they do what they have really well. Small spot and doesn’t have a lot of seating so highly recommend reserving ahead.
My family has done takeout from here regularly for years. It is consistently delicious. Love the tuna avocado appetizer, chicken katsu curry, and the iced matcha!

The BEST ramen and sushi in Bucks County, hands down. Nobu-San is a master chef, a humble and generous human being. We have been weekly regulars for 6+ years and the food is consistently amazing. Try it all.
Musashi is a pretty darn good Japanese restaurant, up there with the Bay Area ones. The food is all a-ok. We got a lot of food here right from the Spicy Tuna Avocado starter to the pretty heavy Una-don and Salmon Chirashi. The spicy tuna avocado starter is a must. You would probably wanna have more than one. It's quite a mouthful but the blend of flavors is just right. On the other hand, I'd skip the Salmon Ceviche. Even though the Salmon was fresh (I'm pretty sure), it did not taste fresh. We got 3 rolls, two of them were Build your own rolls. I loved this concept, where you get to pick your inside, your outer layer and some more add-ons. The price was also very reasonable. I wish this was more of a thing in other places too! For the main course, we got the Una-don and the Salmon/Ikura Chirashi. They were both pretty well done. However, I missed the hot stone pot that I'm used to eating my Unagi from. It got cold pretty fast. We also got the seafood ramen and the house ramen. The house ramen was one of those perfect bowls of noodles. The broth was just right - not too heavy or too cold. But despite all this, I'd only give Musashi 3.5 out of 5, because of the long wait times. We had to wait for about an hour after we ordered to get our food. I understand that they have only one chef. So be prepared for this when you head here!
This place is better than I expected. Atmosphere: Walking in I was taken back slightly because it literally looks like Japanese pop culture exploded inside of it. It's covered with anime merchandise, samurai art, bokken, candies, etc. It does give the place character but also lowered my expectations a bit (they were already low because I simply find it impossible to find good Japanese food outside of Center City) since I kind of felt like I was in a confused convenience store. The staff on the other hand were lively and attentive, which was great. Starter: We ordered the mini pork soupy bun which was more like a soup dumpling, not like a chashu bun you'd get in many ramen places in the city, regardless it was excellent. Main: We ordered ramen with an egg and spicy garlic. I could knit-pick and say I wish the egg yolk was runnier and that the garlic could have used more heat ( I used all of mine + what my GF had left over), honestly a spice bomb add-on would do it for me. Could these little things be improved? Certainly but at the end of the day they both added to the dish and I really enjoyed my meal. They are not the reason this review sits at 4-stars. Why 4-star: I ordered the Chashu Ramen which is the tonkotsu with extra pork and priced $5 higher, this is pricey even in the city. The pork was inconsistent. My GF's 1 piece of chashu and 2 pieces of mine were cooked perfectly however 3 of mine were incredibly dry. For the price I was really expecting all pieces perfectly prepared. It came so close to being perfect. All of that out of the way though this is hands down the best ramen you can get in the area and I will be back.

We have been coming here for years now and the quality remains top notch. Some of the freshest sushi and sashimi we have every had. Their ramen is absolutely amazing and the noodles are just right. They have had some limited time dishes over the year I wish would come back. The only draw back is that food does take a while to come out and it feels a bit crowded with all the merchandise around. The quality is worth the wait.
Food is amazing, made to order, very fresh, 🐟🦐 and good sized portions.🥢 The place is tucked away in the corner of a plaza off the side street-a hidden gem for sure 💎. The poke bowl 🥣 we had was way larger than at other places and the 🍣 sushi platter pieces were terrific and a great value. 🥟🍚 Staff are very helpful, pleasant and service is quick. 🫖🍵 We also tried some desserts. Green tea ice cream 🍨 and crem brulee. 😋 The atmosphere has a lot of 👘 memorabilia,🎍 manga, 🎎T-shirts👕, and 📚 Japanese kitch🪭🥢. Much of which is for sale all around the booths. If I'm in the area, I'll likely visit again because the food was just so terrific. A hidden gem.

Amazing food! But, the logistics is one out of five. They do not have enough chefs or maybe kitchen area to meet the need in dining area making wait times unbearable. I wish they hire new chefs or move to a new place with a bigger kitchen if that is the reason of the delays.
I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and while the broth was decent, the marinated pork had a sour taste, and the noodles were a bit too hard for my liking. The server seemed inattentive, especially when I asked about the sour pork. Unfortunately, she couldn't provide a clear answer and didn't bother asking the chef.
