We enjoyed our meal here & plan to go again to try the other things on the menu. It was clean and we liked the way it was decorated just so nice and classy and nice atmosphere just comfortable and relaxing and a nice vibe. We had a really nice waitress who was sweet & kind & they had a table all ready for us because we made reservations & they even had a cute name tag on our table for us which was a nice touch. Fresh flowers on the tables with a little candle lamp thing. I ordered the flower tea which was very pretty & cool but not much flavor or anything and it just needs something more like some lemon or orange slices or cinnamon or something to give it some taste. We ordered the bacon appetizer and it was absolutely fantastic super yummy and some of the best I’ve ever had. We ordered the nachos and they are real good & I really liked the salsa it had on it just so good. The calzone was okay but very different from the ones we have had before. We ordered blueberry lemon cheesecake & animal cracker cheesecake and both were very yummy. Definitely give this place a try! Ate at this place again & had a couple different Panini’s and they were so good & plan to eat them again. We also had a couple differ desserts & they were real good. We had a large French press of coffee & we both enjoyed it as well. Bathrooms are also nice & clean in this restaurant & very hot water. We are people that notice when things are nice & clean & we appreciate that a lot.
Yummy food in a cozy and lovely atmosphere (pretty natural chic decor). Service was on point as well - she was timely, friendly, and amenable to our requests and numerous questions.
I have been fortunate to have come through the doors and partake in this dining experience multiple times now. It is a quaint atmosphere, peaceful, effort clearly put into the environment. Although reservations are able to be made, they are not generally necessary. The food is flavorful, freshly made, and the portions are more than worth the cost. The French press coffee is a great touch on top of everything else. The customer service is also exceptional, the servers are on point, kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and if you need anything at all you can always ask. I know that they will be closed November 3rd for a couple of months or so to start moving to their new location. Although that is unfortunate, I am very much looking forward to bringing my loved ones there when they get settled in. Thank you for this wonderful local dining experience!
I was impressed with both the food and the service. I made a reservation for a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make the guest feel special. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
Update 8/30/25 Food is still great! With the panini do the two halves so you can try more kinds! 1 year ago: First time coming by and the food was very tasty. Really enjoyed the artichoke dip and will definitely order it again. My friend and I both got paninis. I tried the pickled piggy and enjoyed it. My friend was a big fan of the homemade coleslaw that had a nice tart taste. We also tried their KitKat Cheesecake and it was tasty with plenty of chocolate and a great crust. Our server was very friendly and helpful in answering any questions we had about the food and how it was prepared. Will definitely return again to try some of their other paninis.
We stumbled upon this place by chance while passing through—and I’m so glad we did! Our server, Justine, was an absolute gem—kind, attentive, and incredibly efficient. The food? As fresh as it gets. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the little thoughtful touches throughout the meal took it to a whole new level. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!
This place is wonderful. The food is fresh, hot and delicious. I am in love with their cheese sauce! They have a variety of teas to choose from. The service is fast and the waiters are super friendly and answer all your questions. We sadly were too full for dessert but they looked yummy as well. We will for sure be back!
Great ambiance, tasty and nutritious menu options. We split a large sweet potato kale salad with chicken added, and a Tuscany panini. This combined with a kombucha was enough to feel full and content. They offered us a slice of cheesecake for my friend’s birthday and the key lime one was perfect. Service was attentive and our order was out in under 15 minutes. I would certainly return and bring my friends.
We wanted a new vegetarian restaurant to try so we stopped in for lunch. The panini sampler is awesome! My daughter had the waffle bar which was so delicious and my husband had the Bali salad and charcuterie board which again was so good. Atmosphere was quiet but upbeat with local art work. Definitely now a favorite stop! Price was appropriate for the quality of food you will eat.
My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a meal at Sweet Gypsy. It was such a delightful and delicious experience, and we were served by some of the friendliest wait staff ever! We arrived to find a congratulatory placard acknowledging this milestone in our lives resting atop our table. Our meal was outstanding beginning with a most flavorful potato soup followed by harvest crunch salads made with the freshest ingredients and a wonderful poppyseed dressing. It took a special occasion to get us in the door, but we will be returning often, for sure.
I have bought cheesecake to go in the past but ate in for the first time today. I got a half panini and soup and added potato salad to the side. Panini was the old England and the soup was Turkey green Chile. Both were so good and the potato salad was amazing as well. Everyone. Else with me loved their food too. Will definitely be back.
Such an awesome place to eat! I’ve been wanting to go for months and it didn’t disappoint. We tried their new waffle bar in the southern comfort option, and it was amazing. We also split the turkey trot sandwich and blueberry cheesecake. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu.
We loved it! I had plans to go for the first time with girlfriends who couldn’t make it, so my husband took me. They plan to join me there next weekend. I love her potato salad. Brought back memories of my grandmother’s salad, who is not longer on earth. The carrot cake pancakes tasted as good as they looked in the picture the chef and owner posted! And we bought 4 flavors of cheesecake, all delicious. The individual French press coffee is a nice touch (about 3 servings each) and prices are reasonable. We also shared a panini! I wanted to try everything. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. We will be regulars. Follow Sweet Gypsy on Facebook for her weekly specials.
Tasty food, excellent customer service, and a clean, well-lit place with live music. It's kid-friendly, and everything we tried was delicious. We'll definitely be back!
I ate here with my daughter. She ordered the lover of meat canzone and loved it! I had the turkey/cranberry panini. It was okay. We also had these little salted caramel cups for dessert. They were wonderful! The atmosphere was pleasant and the place was clean. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
The beef soup was delicious: wonderful flavor of garlic and cilantro. Had never seen Mac and cheese spring rolls: interesting concept, however it was very plain and lacking in flavor (even with bacon in it)- maybe a hit for children? Lots of flavor combinations when it came to the panini’s: however wish they were a little more generous with the amount of filling. The calzone ended up being our favorite: good amount of meat, not too cheesy, flavor of oregano was divine!! Our waitress knew the menu well and had her favorite's, which is always a good sign! Apparently they make in house desserts every day, will have to come back to try another time.
Welll… this was my 17$ (not including tax/tip) side salad. First it was made wrong (we asked to sub tofu for the chicken and it’s 2$ extra). Then we asked for a refund but were told it’s too late- it was being made. A full size would have been 20.50$, plus tax/tip. This has lettuce, Parmesan cheese, tofu, pecans. It’s about 8 bites. We were very excited to try this local place but sadly- unless this salad also magically cleans my house- we won’t be back. *updated 7.11- the owner reached out and provided a refund and apology and a thanks for bringing the “extra” fee for subbing tofu for chicken to their attention, and said it would be fixed as well as the newer staff alerted of this all. She was very nice, and the food we did get was good, so we will try again some day.
We were excited to try this restaurant after seeing so many great reviews but were left underwhelmed. The sandwiches use mid-level ingredients but charge a premium price. My husband had the antipasto panini; the chicken and ham tasted more like packaged meat than fresh deli-sliced and the olive tapinade had poor texture and bland flavor. I had the three cheese panini which was advertised as having stretchy mozzarella when pulled apart however it was served lukewarm, so the cheese wasn't melty or stretchy, and I didn't actually notice any mozzarella in the sandwich. The bread was very nice texture-wise though, we both did enjoy the bread. My husband also ordered a diet coke which ended up just being a single 12 oz can that cost $3. I had the lavender limoncello mocktail which was very good and was a good price though. Overall the meal was decent but just was quite overpriced for the quality.
The woman who took my order on the phone was lovely and very nice. She let me know my order would be ready in ten minutes and I left my house to pickup. I arrived ten minutes after ordering and was told they just started to make it. Waited an additional 20 minutes to receive the sandwich. Service time communication was not good. Now on to the real issues, the panini was the worst I’ve ever had in my life. There was hardly any filling, looking at the sandwich from a side view you can see nothing inside save a few arugula stems poking out. It didn’t have enough filling in it, all I could taste was the hot cream cheese and soggy bread. The panini was made sloppily and without care. It was so soggy and not even the slightest toasted crust. I ate one of the portions of the panini in my car and it was handed to me fresh so it should not have been so gluey. Overall highly disappointing. The coleslaw had a decent base flavor but someone forgot to add salt, which makes it very bland.
