Came here for the 1st time and I was highly impressed!! The ownerr is very nice amd welcoming. We ordered the "La Festiva" platter. The roasted chicken comes cutvin pieces, the meat falls off the bone easily and has a great taste. The ribs are crunchy tender with a great taste as well. We added the plantain with cheese which is so good. The sausage and black sausage are both homemade here and are super good. I highly recommend you try the food here. I loved it and will come again!!
We came all the way from Brickell to this place looking for roasted chicken, and by far this is one of the best. What really stands out is all the details that truly represent Colombian food — arepas, aborrajados, patacones, and of course the roasted chicken DELICIOSO Y JUGOSO. They recently changed locations, and we felt very comfortable at the restaurant.
Super friendly to us as out-of-towners. The best yucca fries I’ve ever had! Highly recommend. The chicken is so well marinated.
For the first time eating here, the food was delicious and service was great as well. I recommend it to pass by and try.
The new location is a lot more customer friendly. Spacious and the music in the background is nice too. From the person taking the order to the staff that brings the food everyone was very nice and attentive. Delish traditional Colombian food.
The service was amazing love the way we the food was and it came out really fast
First time trying this restaurant. The food was Delicious! Great hospitality as well . I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming here again . All the food on the menu looks amazing. Anyone that is hungry and wanting to try some Latin/ Colombian should try it . You will not be disappointed.
I have been coming to Pollo Riko since it open 40 years ago and still stopping by. They are now across the street in new spot. Will miss the old place but this place is nice.
This place is simply AMAZING! Affordable, delicious and outstanding service. We will definitely be back!
Drove all away from Fort Lauderdale but it was worth it! Excelente service very quick serving and the best taste of the food.

f you’re craving authentic Colombian flavors, this place is an absolute gem. The star of the show is without a doubt their pollo asado, perfectly marinated, grilled to juicy perfection, and bursting with flavor in every bite. The seasoning is spot on, giving you that smoky, savory taste that instantly transports you to a Colombian street food market. The sides are just as impressive, fluffy white rice, and perfectly seasoned beans that balance the rich flavors of the chicken. The portions are generous, the presentation is inviting, and the service is warm and friendly, making you feel like you’re part of the family. Whether you’re Colombian or just a fan of bold, home-style cooking, this restaurant is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for more pollo asado, it’s hands-down the best I’ve had outside of Colombia!
The chicken was DELICIOUS! Actually, everything was delicious. The rice, tostones, papa salada, yuca frita. Good hearty portions, enough for leftovers.
Good amazing so much flavor ! We ordered la festiva for four adults and we had food left over! Amazing service only down side is the space is small but worth the wait.
! Not a fancy Place but The food was delicious.. Staff was very polite!
Amazing food for an amazing price. When we thought the days of a $10-$13 meal were over this place is still doing it. Great food and great service
This rotisserie chicken tastes just like the kind you’d get at a traditional Colombian asadero. The chicken is delicious, and the salad feels just like home—simple and fresh with lettuce, cucumber, and tomato. The salted potato is well-prepared, and the coffee is spectacular. I highly recommend visiting, this place is a true hidden gem for chicken lovers in Miami.
Was in the mood for Colombian raosted 🐔 Found this place in Hialeah. . This reminded me a little bit of Mario Pollo. It was really good. Hard to find good rotisserie 🐔. Yika fried were good. They jave great sauces as well to dip with Chicken. Comi g back with family
I have been coming to eat here since I was 10 years old and the food is always good. I love the beans and the chicken is excellent. They moved across the street from the original spot and the new place is bigger and remodeled. I highly recommend.
We ordered the Festive Platter, which includes chorizo, chicken, ribs, and different types of potatoes. Everything was very flavorful and well-seasoned. The portion is huge — we ordered it for two, but it can easily feed three. Service was fast. Definitely recommend!
So happy that Pollo Riko is still around! Haven’t been here since I was a kid and so glad I did. Ambience and service is great! Picking up our food so I’ll follow up with that review soon but from reading the other reviews I expect it will still be fantastic… can’t wait to get home to enjoy the feast!
If you’re looking for delicious, authentic rotisserie chicken with warm, welcoming service, Pollo Riko is a must-try spot. The moment you walk in, you’ll notice how attentive and friendly the staff are — they make you feel right at home. Many guests praise the team for being polite, helpful, and focused on making every visit enjoyable. The chicken is flavorful and juicy, and the sides are tasty and satisfying. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, this place delivers great food and excellent customer service every time. Highly recommended for family meals, casual lunches, or any time you’re craving great Colombian-style chicken!
I stopped by Pollo Riko for some Colombian food. The place was clean and the atmosphere was relaxed. The food was good and the portions were fair. Service was straightforward and the staff were helpful. Overall, a solid spot if you’re looking for Colombian food in the area.
This Colombian restaurant is an absolute gem! The sancocho is hands down the best I’ve ever had — rich, flavorful, and full of that homemade taste that instantly makes you feel at home. The rotisserie chicken is perfectly seasoned and juicy, cooked to perfection with that authentic Colombian touch. But what really surprised me was the aborrajado — I wasn’t expecting it to be that good! Crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside, and filled with delicious melted cheese… just incredible. Every dish tasted fresh and made with love. Definitely my new go-to spot for real Colombian comfort food! 🇨🇴🍗🥔🍌
Absolutely amazing! This Colombian restaurant exceeded all of my expectations. The food tasted just like home — fresh, flavorful, and made with love. Every dish had that authentic sazón that’s hard to find. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and full of Colombian warmth. I left with a happy heart and a full stomach. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back!
Flavorful comfort, with room to grow Pollo Riko has been serving up Latin soul since 1984, and the flavors still hold strong. The sancocho is hearty and well seasoned, the pollo asado is juicy and flavorful, and the aguapanela adds a nostalgic, refreshing touch. It’s the kind of meal that feels like home.Service is quick, and the vibe is casual. My only suggestion: upgrade the plastic silverware and basic plates the food deserves better presentation. Still, for the price and taste, it’s a solid spot in Hialeah. Gracias, Pollo Riko. Keep the tradition alive.
Amazing food, great quality food, great service and staff. Lots of food we ordered there most polpulat combo, 2 kids 1 adult and took a whole plate to go.

The food was great. The place was pretty good The chicken was well. Seasoned the soup. The chicken soup was delicious, full of chicken and vegetables. Las arepas were good.. The prices are reasonable, but the gentleman at the register. I think he’s the owner is very passive aggressive, with his employees, making the atmosphere. Somewhat tense from him, trying to control every scenario in the restaurant. I felt bad for the waitress. He wanted to pull her in every direction.
This place is a Colombian place serves.a delicious rotisserie chicken good portion an a good taste.but there chicken soup 🍲 it's got a super delicious flavor highly recommended it. How ever it can be a little better on the service part asking if you need any else place wasn't busy an had to wait to asked for more sauce either than them coming around. Overall, it's worth visiting and trying it out.
The chicken was delicious! La sopa de menudencia brought back memories of my youth it’s been so long since I had chicken gizzards, and I love the chicken necks too! The soup was so tasty. It’s an affordable combo for when you come home tired from work and don’t feel like cooking — soup, chicken, rice, and baked potato, you really can’t ask for more. They’ve moved to the plaza across the street now. Excellent customer service if you’re not sure what to order, they’ll gladly help you choose something. Pollo Riko still keeps its great flavor!
The chicken here tastes absolutely spectacular; full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Their snack platters (picadas) are also very tasty and a great option to share. However, the service could use some improvement, as it wasn’t very attentive. The restaurant isn’t really set up to handle very large groups comfortably. On the bright side, parking is easy to find, which is a big plus. Overall, the delicious food definitely makes it worth visiting and trying out!

30 mins waiting for this. Plastic burn with chicken, salsa not even half of the container, chicken taste less. Honey packages. Horrible experience How do I begin? So much to say about this place and nothing good. I thought at least the food was good but no even that. Didn’t get to eat my food at the end. So first I saw a video of people recommending this place that was the best chicken, I’m Colombian so I was o wow good chicken good reviews let’s go. Well I have to say the worse experience I have ever had with a restaurant or order. So first place is very small, very crowded, very noise so if go for like family gathering or something were you want some privacy you can’t. Second the food is bland, no taste no flavor just normal food, and for the price you expect a little more quality but is not there. Third customer service needs training or maybe the owner need someone who can teach how to run a proper business. Sometimes they forget the clients are you most important part of the business, no customers no business. So at the end my experience in this place was very bad. Some guy call me liar because I told him I was waiting for a long time, he said that’s no true because they go by order number then some lady told him my order was cooking and then proceeded to make so excuse just to make seem I was wrong. Wasn’t even professional enough to say he was wrong and check if my order was ready. Very rude no customer service at all. So i waited around 30 I’ll say for half of chicken rice and plantain. At the end couldn’t eat it. Why because this place usually jump codes and city laws. You handle hot food and put it in a container where is messing up your food. No I’m eating plastic, foam for free. Image I came from west palm beach just to waste my money, lose my time, didn’t get to eat my food and be stress out. This is what happens when you come to this places to try to support people from your country. Very sad but I’ll not recommend to anyone you maybe gonna get sick they way the handle de food
Don’t get me wrong, the only reason I ordered a second time was because the first experience was amazing. I was impressed enough that I wanted my coworkers to try it too. Unfortunately, the second order was a huge disappointment. I ordered through Uber Eats and everything arrived sloppy and careless. The fried chicken was nothing like the first time. It tasted off and didn’t seem like their authentic fried chicken at all. It honestly felt lazy, like rotisserie chicken was tossed into a fryer just to get the order out. On top of that, items were missing from the order. According to my Uber driver, the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. This was a Tuesday around 2:38 PM. He kept me updated and mentioned the food wasn’t ready when he arrived, and staff had to search for the ticket. I understand how kitchens work, and if the place is empty, there’s no reason an order should take 45 minutes. I appreciate the driver’s communication, but the lack of organization and consistency from the restaurant was obvious. Consistency matters. When the first visit is great and the second is this bad, it’s disappointing.
