I was absolutely impressed with the quality of the food here. I tried the cauliflower pizza and it was phenomenal. The spinach artichoke dip is perfectly made. The staff was top notch customer service and very polite. Amazing experience thank you.
I recently visited California Pizza Kitchen and had a fantastic experience. I tried two of their signature dishes: the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Thai Chicken Pizza. The BBQ pizza was perfectly balanced with its sweet tangy sauce and smoked gouda, while the Thai pizza offered a unique spicy peanut sauce kick with fresh bean sprouts and cilantro—truly a must-try for those looking for something different!
We love CPK, and this is one of our favorite locations. The staff is kind and attentive. We usually order takeout, and our food is always hot and delicious.
We had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant! Great food and Katy, our server was very attentive, knowledgeable, and has superb customer service! She’s so sweet and very helpful. She’s the BEST!
Had a very nice evening here, had a couple of drinks with dinner. We started indoor and then moved outdoor once the masses had left. Loved the outdoor ambience. I would have given the food 5 stars but the Churro dessert was a bit of a let down. Service wise, she was busy but still attentive enough to not disappoint. Overall, great spot.
Walked here so we didn’t have to worry about parking. Outside dining looks lovely but it was way too hot! We were seated pretty fast and got a nice seat by the window! It felt funny looking out at the USC Pacific Asia Museum while eating Italian food, haha! The bread and olive oil combo was yummy, always love a fresh warm bread! Couldn’t decide between the Mexican Street Corn and the other corn dish but the waiter shared his personal fav and so we went with the Mexican Street Corn and I HIGHLY recommend it!!! It was amazingly delicious and will leave you wanting to lick your plate clean!! Ordered the sangria flight and it was so good! Also tried another drink that I can’t remember the name but it wasn’t as good (maybe the pacific drink but it was alcoholic. Had passionfruit and pineapple). We got the pepperoni pizza and it was so delish!! They have all sorts of summer deals going on (kids eat free at certain times and you can order frozen pizza for $8 to take back if you order another pizza for your first meal. Check the website)! Overall, it was a great environment, pretty clean bathroom, great waiter service, and delicious food!!
I am a huge pizza fanatic slongside my girlfriend and as per tradition trying a new pizza spot, we gave this one a shot. Safe to say, it was amazing! Their bbq chicken pizza is a must try for the first time(get thin crust if you can). Their new dynamite shrimp appetizer is awesome and probably my favorite thing their aside the pizza. As for dessert, we ordered ice cream with the shortcake and it made for a perfect way to end off the meal and was awesome. I reccomend this to anyone wishing to eat dine in with pizza
(7pm Thursday) Parking will be validated, take your ticket. Superbly Synchronized staff! Food came out all at once, Jonathan was on it. Outdoor dining is an option and seems more quaint and warm, less noise too. Pizza was light and fluffy, but I preferred the focaccia. Coming back to dine out in the courtyard next time
Food was great but..our server Jennifer never asked if we needed anything but the check. She chatted with the table next to us for 10 minutes not focusing on any other tables. I had to get up and ask other servers for assistance. Bad service great atmosphere and tasty food. Beware of Jen the server
Been here a few times - all have been great. I just normally sit by the bar and have 2 or 4/5 drinks and a bite to eat haha. Bartenders are chill and easy going. Will stop by if im near the neighborhood and want a drink.
Been going to this California Pizza Kitchen for years and the food is usually good. We keep coming back. This last time though the service was slow and uninspired. The pasta with meat sauce was VERY light on sauce. The pizza, however, wasn't bad. It was the Neopolitan Burrata.
Walked in for a late lunch, it was quiet after a possible lunch rush. We were greeted by the bartender as we sat at the bar. The bartender was awesome, really sweet lady and took our order quick, 5-stars for her. I had the steakhouse salad and the salad was good. The steak bites in the salad sucked terribly. They were dry, overcooked, and each bite tasted burnt. Salad gets 3 stars. Atmosphere I give 3 stars only because it was still dirty around the restaurant.
To be honest, I haven’t been to a CPK in years, but my coworkers suggested it for lunch since they have some solid specials for a good price. They offer a bunch of ½ + ½ combos, and I went with the BBQ chicken salad and a personal Thai chicken pizza. The salad was tasty fresh and flavorful. The pizza was okay; I remember liking it more in the past, but this time the crust was a little hard. They also give you free bread with olive oil and vinegar, and I really liked that dip. Overall, it was a decent lunch for the price. Service was quick, which is great if you’re on a lunch break if you’re in a hurry, I’d recommend ordering from the bar.
There was a BIG mess up with my take away order (cheese pizza with veggies and pineapple) and I made it very clear as I am allergic to onion and garlic. The first take away was messed up as they added sauce to the pizza (sauce has garlic) and that night dinner I could not have as I was in a hotel and tired and I almost ended up having the pizza and then called and then they asked me to pick up (they should have delivered) and I had to pick the pizza the next day and thanks to Alexis who made the order execution correct this time.
Happy hour is a good deal, but if you order the pizza on happy hour make sure you tell them because they won’t double check that’s what you want. I ended up paying $20 for a pizza, but I wanted the happy hour. The buffalo Cauliflower is so good. And this new drink they have called a Paloma is delicious.
We stopped by this location on the way home from LA. The location it's at can be a little pain in regards to parking depending on the time of the day. In total, there were 4 of us. The hostess was responsive and friendly. We sat down within 10 minutes upon arriving. It was roughly 2 pm Sunday afternoon. My fiancée ordered Tequila Fettuccine, and I ordered Alfredo Fettuccine. It came out within 15 minutes of us ordering, and it was nice and hot, tasteful as usual! The server was friendly and attentive. They were advertising that you can order their pizza's to take home for $8.00 a piece. We left with 2! I'd definitely come back here if we were in the vicinity again.
Hadn’t been into a CPK restaurant in years. I’d give a 4.5 stars if I could. Food was great, the mocktail selection was very impressive and we loved the cucumber one! Can’t go wrong with getting Butter Cake for dessert. It was busy so we had to ask for water and flag down the server for the check. Overall, we had a lovely evening though!
The service and food were very mediocre. We didn’t feel very welcomed. Mind you, the restaurant was extremely cold with the AC turned on to the MAX. The artichoke dip was very watery. And, the margherita pizza—well, let’s just say that it was nothing extraordinary. They do validate your parking ticket, which was good. Based on the dining experience we had today, I honestly don’t think we’ll want to come back.
We hosted a birthday party here, and the staff was very helpful during the initial planning process. However, the experience fell short once we arrived. We expected everything to be set up and ready at the scheduled time, but instead we were handed a bag of aprons and hats and had to distribute them ourselves. Additionally, we never received the chef coat that was promised. The on-site manager told us he would order one and that we could pick it up within a week. When we called a week later, another manager said there was no record of it and promised a callback that never came. I followed up again by email a couple of weeks later and still received no response. Basically once you give them your money, don't expect anything else.
the food and service at this location is subpar. it is mostly this location but in all CPK food is not as good as it used to be . the pizza had a soggy bottom when it came out , the chicken on it was dry and we had to ask the gentleman bussing tables to get us the check because we count get the attention of a server, they were all standing around on the other side of the restaurant talking. the experience is not unique to this occasion it has been multiple times different issues. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK and I will let friends and family know not to waste their money at CPK.
Has California Pizza Kitchen come under new ownership? We used to be able to rely on delicious pizzas, pretty good chopped salad and the best key lime pie in town. The last two times we ordered from them they were not as good, but last night was rock bottom! The wild mushroom pizza did not have any wild mushrooms but ordinary Cremini mushrooms you get in the grocery store, I asked for extra Parmesan cheese but almost no cheese in sight and the crust was awful…dry and tasteless. Also they discontinued the key lime pie! I specifically asked for garbanzo beans in the chopped salad, but I guess they forgot although the rest of the salad was good. What happened to you?
