Tried the flautas! Smothered with aguacate, cream, and queso fresco!!!! Do not sleep on these. Tried the carne guisada plate—-paired with authentic tortillas de arina-do not sleep on these either! Fajitas are very well made as well… Highly recommend the Nutella Cheesecake. Should have taken a photo of when I first got it. Waitress was attentive, food was out quickly (family of 6)-prices are reasonable. Hidden Gem in Pasadena.

20 Degrees outside today and every restaurant was closed except this place. Thought I'd give it a try as I've never been here before. It was very good and everything was on point. I got the huevos rancheros with three eggs, beans, potatoes, bacon, and it came with Pancakes. Also got coffee. It was only $10! I think it was too cheap but very good. They need to go up on their prices as I know they have bills to pay. Left her a $10 tip on top of the ticket.I had to drive to the other end of town to find a restaurant that was open and this is the only one I can find because of freezing weather. Everybody was closed, but they were on duty and Cooks were ready to give you a good meal. I'll be back to enjoy the wonderful food.

My husband ordered gorditas n they were very tasty....I had a sandwich (idk if I'm saying it right) "CENITAS" it was HUGE, but so was the price. 15 dollars😳 it was tasty but there was yerba on it that is typical of the dish, that tasted awful. I wanted to "try somethin new" smh, after I removed the herb, it was yummy!!! The tortas were a bit measly but they were good, not the best ... their salsa verde and roja are delicious ! I put my hand in the photo to give an idea of the size of the dish

The food was fantastic. The ladies who work her friendly and helpful. Menu has the basics but is clear and easy to read. I wish parking was a little easier to manage, but it's worth the hassle getting in and out. They may just have a new regular.

The place has a great atmosphere, and the service is incredible. The food was delicious and great in price.

I had the plato de bistec con nopales, DELICIOUS. Flour tortillas are handmade. I’ve had other plates too and they are good! I recommend this place

Very good food, very clean, very nice waitresses

This place is absolutely amazing. Great food music and service. Took my sister here when she came down to visit me and she loved it as well. We will always come here if we want some good authentic Mexican food when I don’t feel like cooking. This place needs to be known because with the way they treat people and the amazing food the lobby should always be full. They also have a drive through! So to tired to step out of the car. You don’t have to.

I tried the quesabirrias, not the best but npt the worst!! It was just another Mexican taqueria. Service was good, though.

I went to the one in Pasadena, Tx and tried the Divorced eggs. I liked it and the service was awesome. My server was on top of her game checking on me. The flour tortillas were good and fresh. I also posted a vlog on my YouTube. #slaprecon

Food is below average and comparatively prices are high.

The food was very good! The only reason I knocked stars off is because the Chile con queso tasted very artificial or they use a cheap brand, one or the other. My husband ordered the nachos with beef and chicken but the portion of proteins was very small and I ordered the tampiqueña plate but the 2 enchiladas that came with the plate looked old and were stale then the meat although tender was very very dry. Other than that the service was good, the prices are incredibly affordable especially in this economy and as I mentioned above the food is very tasty. The green salsa is bomb! We will definitely return and I highly recommend.

I came to eat here on March 30th 2025 I ordered a parillada for two I must say this has been the worst restaurant I have been to The rice was cold, the beans had no flavor The flour tortillas were not even fully cooked The portion of the rice looked like it was meant for little kids And service was not all great The server never showed a smile once and never made a effort to make you feel welcome So if you're looking for great food and service this is not the place !! I

The service is no good. They took a while putting in my order just to find out they made a mistake. Also, I specifically said pastor for my tacos just to realize they were beef and to top it off they forgot to give me my order of tortillas. Once I sent a friend to get them inside, one of the servers said “oh she’s back” and went straight into the kitchen, not knowing she was overheard. We asked for our order of tortillas and they had forgot to make them so we had to wait and they weren’t even cooked thoroughly. One of my worse experiences in a restaurant yet.

This place was horrible. I mean the people were really nice and friendly. But the food was sorry. The amount I paid was not worth what I got in return. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are way better places to eat than here!!!

When it was time to pay I used a different card and they said it was declined. I had to call my bank because it locked on up on me due to expecting fraud. My bank mentioned how they were trying to charge me different amounts. Their system charges hidden fees and plus they charge $3 just to use the card. If you go, take cash because a card locking up due to expecting fraud is SUS.But even at that. The restaurant went down hill My original bill was $88 and this the mess they created. Which we had to pay an extra 3 dollar fee on top of the $10 for using another card because the 88 wouldn't go thru because their hidden fees but yet they still charged me 93.59 on the card the 88 wouldn't go thru. Like no the food is trash then got the nerve to play with people's money. Never again
