Such a delightful gem on Lake Ave. This was a favorite date night years ago when it first opened, and we had the pleasure of revisiting after seven years and it was just as lovely as we remembered. The food was outstanding, and the service so friendly. The cozy spots throughout the "house" make for a memorable eating experience. The only feedback I would give would be to refresh some of the pillows in the back lounge area - a few were looking a little dirty and worn. But this was a fabulous experience, and our server made us feel so welcomed.

Great little spot with nice outdoor seating! They allow dogs outside (and brought us a water bowl!). We got the Benedict and breakfast sandwich, along with mimosas and the milk and cookies cocktail. Decently busy when we were there for brunch so glad we reserved online!

Went here for happy hour with my coworker after a long day and this place was great ! It is such a cute spot for happy hour ! We got this matcha alcoholic drink which was so delicious and I usually don't like non sweet drinks but this one was delicious ! The food was so yummy and the pricing was so decent. Our server was so sweet ! Even when she went on break her back up server was also very nice. The food came out pretty fast which was good. I definitely want to come back and try some more food and drinks here!

Absolutely cute little bar, with great vintage vibes. Delicious Strong drinks, and good choice of beers. Food is pretty good. But absolutely love the vibes here. Everything from their furniture to the pictures on the wall through the wooden tables and chairs to the fireplace, just absolutely love it!.

A charming restaurant in a 100 year old historic home featuring unique homemade dishes. We sampled several items and were pleasantly pleased. We started with tasty homemade Belgian fries, zucchini fritters with garlic aiolo dip, and house made olives. Then we shared The Duke Burger which was juicy and absolutely delicious, followed by the decadent Loukoumades (yummy Greek donuts) for dessert. This restaurant is a must try when in Pasadena.

The vibe here is great! We got outdoor seating, and the atmosphere was just loud enough to create some nice background noise but not too loud so that we didn’t have to yell. The drinks were professional and delicious. The food was a bit overpriced but yummy and well presented. My favorite dish was the chicken nachos! The fried rice was my least favorite — it had some weird crunch to it like there were small rocks in it or something. I’d recommend going somewhere else for good Asian food.

The burger needs a pickle or more acidity. Its such a heavy dish. And the albacore crudo tasted mushy. Not the best dishes but Im willing to order something else next time. Vibe and service is amazing though.

It’s my third time visiting this gastropub. The menu is quite different from before but there are interesting options. Our server told us about a Tuesday special consisting of burger and old fashion for 20 bucks only! My family found the burgers meaty and delicious. I really liked the Manila clams with white wine and basil as well as the Moroccan spiced wings. I’ll pass on the chipotle salad next time This was a delicious inexpensive outing!

Perhaps my expectations were too high...unfortunately I was disappointed by the food. I found most of the plates to be too salty and eating in the dark made it hard to see what I was eating. We had the sitting arra near the fireplace, six of us around à small coffee table. The fireplace was the only light we had to see what we were eating. The service was good. It's à nice little place but à little more lighting would have been better.

I really wanted to like this place, but I am really disappointed. We went on Valentines and they had a different menu for that night called the "pri fixe" menu. They charge $120 per person that wants to order off that menu and then they had other plates on the side that weren't really appetizing so of course everyone is gonna wanna order off the Valentines menu, but $120 really?! They were sold out of the steak that night too. The Valentines drinks were TINY for $20!!! Like they were kid sized. Our food took forever to be brought to our table but since it was Valentines we weren't in a rush a decided to just let it be. It came in 3 courses, but it wasn't even hot when it arrived to the table. Also, the food just was eh. It lacked so much flavor. I wish they had a normal menu for the people who are picky or have a different diet. I did love the vibe and look of the place and it was super cozy outside. I don't wanna be super negative but maybe this place is better during the day or not on Valentines, but I wouldn't recommended it or come back.

When we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly host. So, I initially thought that the dining experience would be pleasant. But contrary to my expectation, the service wasn’t all that great. Getting a simple sauce took some time. The lady who brought out our food just ignored our request. So, I asked our server who asked the host to bring it out. This was frustrating! In addition, the burgers that we ordered were not cooked as we had requested but were prepared well-done. So, the patties were a bit dry. Also, I couldn’t believe the burgers didn’t come with anything else—no pickles or greens. So disappointing! The only thing we really enjoyed were our cocktails.

They need a better wait staff. I was seated by the hostess and then waited 37 minutes before anyone decided to wait on me. And when they did, their attitude was defensive and unwelcoming as if already admitting their screw-up. This was a Tuesday evening at 6:30pm 12/12/23. Hardly a busy day. I finally ordered my drink and it was mediocre at best. Hardly worth the 37 minute wait. Seven (7) different staff members at various times passed me by during those 37 minutes and neither felt like dealing with it. Also, I was not 6 feet from their POS system so I was highly visible. Poor service. Do better.
