Was Kunden über Pie Life Pizza sagen
Pie Life Pizza is a popular spot for NY-style pizza, known for its crispy crust and thin slices. The Warehouse and PBJ (Pepperoni Bacon Jalapeño) pizzas are highly recommended. Limited seating and parking can be challenging.

Tip: Eat it there or somewhere very close because the thin crust pizza does not travel well.

This is my family’s favorite pizza place in terms of taste, quality ingredients, service, and value. We usually get half tomato basil and half bbq chicken pizza, and that feeds 2 adults and 3 kids. There is an outside tent seating shared with Jone’s coffee, which is another local favorite and must try. Always a pleasant experience here and can’t wait to come back.
Legit good thin crust NYC style pizza. Cannot overstate the importance of a good thin crust, and good-tasting dough. (I'm from Staten Island.) I like that they offer a salad as a side option. All outdoor spot with bench seating, no bathroom as I can see.
Some of the best thin crust pizza I've had. Fresh not frozen ingredients are a huge plus! If you need a quick snack, lunch, or dinner you can order just enough to get your fill. by the slice, whole pie, or my favorite the 2 slice and a drink special for $9.50.
🍕🍕🍕 's are huge and delicious with all kinds of good quality ingredients. Staff is super cool. Located in the cut and low key. Served out of a single 🪟 in a 🧱 next to legit coffee spot - how can you go wrong?! 🍕 🍕 🍕 it's ok to "be about that life" 😋
Best pizza in Pasadena. A literal hole in the wall with charm. My favorite is the burrata and artichoke pizza. It's all New York style and perfectly baked with a chewy crust. Give Pie Life a go. You won't be disappointed.
Wow! I'm at my aunts house two blocks away, I found them by Googling and this place is a tiny little closet walk up window only, but the pizza is incredible! Great sauce, generous cheese, delicious and HOT with warmth pumping out of the corners of the boxes letting me know they'd be ready to go when I got them home. The whole family concurs... Great pizza. I got two large pepperoni mushroom extra cheese, and pepperoni bacon extra cheese.
High quality, tasty thin crust pizza. A great, neighborhood pizza. I love supporting our local small businesses like Pie Life. Update: I've been ordering whole pies during pandemic 2020. The online ordering process is really easy, & my orders have always been ready right on time. The quality remains as high as pre-pandemic. Such friendly, kind service, with attention to hygiene. Thank you, Pie Life Pizza, for staying open & excellent!
Got half & half of white pizza and meat pizza. Nice thin and chewy crust. We loved it. Quick and friendly service. I didn't know that it's to go only, but they have tables and chairs set up in the front parking lot.
Good place to grab a slice; looking forward to a new one opening up in old town monrovia
Best pizza in Pasadena! I lived in NY for 29 years and Pie Life is the first pizzeria in California I’ve given my “New York seal of approval” to lol. Amazing pizza, quality ingredients, very friendly staff. My favorite slices are the pepperoni Sicilian, the warehouse and the white slice! : )
Absolutely incredible thin crispy cheesy NY pizza. My new favorite in pasadena. If you’re a garlic lover you’ll love the ‘shroomeroni and the sausage &shrooms, both of which come with whole roasted garlic for the perfect bite. Highly recommend eating in person they have a nice patio and counter so you’re close by when you inevitably end up ordering another slice
I always have to stop at Pie Life when passing through Pasadena! Best nyc style pizza I’ve found in LA county. Perfect crispy thin crust. I highly recommend trying a slice of the lasagna pizza.
Their vegetarian pizza was so delicious! And the 18” New York style was perfect for two very hungry people, leaving two slices leftover :) Everyone was very friendly; we took it to the coffee/wine shop next door to enjoy and would recommend their wine as well.
Dropped by one a road trip back home. Great pizza, even after being in the car for an hour, not much flop. Excellent pizza
A hidden pizza gem in the Pasadena Area. Coming from the New Jersey area, I have been searching for a good slice of pizza for a number of years since moving to Los Angeles. This place definitely hit the spot, definitely has a solid Sicilian style pizza. Very thin and crunch crust, just enough cheese, sauce, and toppings. You cant go wrong. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat and maybe a cup of Coffee (next door) than this is the place for you! Really Recommend Checking these guys out!
Pie Life should be high on your list of great pizza in the area. It's NYC style, delicious pizza, hot and fresh. Yes there are more gourmet options out there, and yes there are cheaper options. You go to Pie Life because you love good quality and tasty pizza. The staff has always been friendly. The service is usually quick. Parking in the lot will be an experience you only want once. Park on the street to save yourself the hassle of trying to fit into the tiny lot that is shared with 2 other businesses. To find the location, look for Jones Coffee and a giant crowned lamb mural.
Bang up Pizza!!! It’s a mini footprint in a small shared building. We always order pickup. We order extra and freeze slices for inter-week pizza fixes. Works great. Get some!
Very good NY style pizza. We ordered couple pizza and cheesy garlic bread - all delicious. The crust was not floppy. I ordered take out and it was ready on time.
Great NY style pizza in LA/Pasadena area! I recommend the warehouse pizza. A bit pricey but there's quality in what you spend. It's got a crunchy crust, a bit of browning on the bottom, and just enough sauce and cheese.
Wow 🤩 Our first time go there my husband friend told us to go to Pie Life Pizza 🍕 it’s was delicious 😋 I can eat more haha 😄 New York–style pizza thin crust. Our favorite is PBJ ha yup PBJ is Pepperoni Bacon Jalapeño so Delicious 🤤 Definitely go there again soon 🤩
Hands down THE best pizza in LA. Was let down by W Coast pizza and had given up until just a week ago when I discovered Pie Life. I’ve driven past (and failed to notice) it PLENTY times. It’s a bit hidden if you are not looking for it. AWESOME white pie tastes just like home. Pepperoni cups just like home. Mondays are pepperoni burrata slice day- Do it and you won’t regret. Great spot, good slices, prices that don’t leave you feeling ripped off. Ordered a whole pie today and was ready in just 20 minutes. This will be in our reg routine for sure.
2 slices and a soda for $10.50. Cute little spot with a walk up window. The Margherita had beautifully thin melt-in-your-mouth slices of tomato. The White was a little dry in comparison but still pretty tasty. It was definitely worth the stop.
The closest you'll get to genuine NY pizza in southern California 🍕 Delicious, crispy, great undercarriage, hardly flop. Workers were fast and professional. Will come back.
Probably one of my favorite pizza places of all time. It’s mainly a to go pizza spot for me but there are seats on site. I ordered their mushroom slice, veggie slice and white slice. My favorite is the mushroom, followed by the veggie and then the white pizza. All three are solid picks with the perfect flavor and excellently baked crust. I’ll definitely be back here again & when you eat a slice, go workout at Resistance Athletics next door!
A hole in the wall pizza place that offers some New York and Sicilian style pizza. They are just a window counter and mainly do takeout, but there are some seats available too. The pizza is good, nice and crispy base and super crunchy crust. Not the best pizza ever but gets the job done. Decent prices and friendly staff. Comes out hot and fresh.
We went there for coffee, and saw the small hole for pizza people were grabbing. My husband and I decided to give a try for Margarita and Warehouse which the guy recommended one of their the most popular to pair with our coffee. Funny combo to turn out surprisingly we found the pizza was so tasty. The topping is fresh and the crust is very crispy. After came back home a few days, we have been craving the pizza very much and too bad our area has been drizzling. We cannot wait to go back again after the sun is out. (:
Grade B (85): I like the fact that you can get the pizza by the slice, it's a bit expensive but tastes good, nothing special. The Margherita pizza was just a pizza regular cheese pizza with julienned Basil, not a very good interpretation of the cosign. You can sit and eat the pizza next door at the Coffee shop, you can even order the pizza from there! The coffee shop has a better selection of drinks though, next time I order the pizza and get the drinks from the coffee shop.
I've searched far and wide and pie life is probably my favorite pizza in the LA area. The crust has a bit of crunch to it and the meatballs are fantastic. They've got a lunch special for two slices and a drink, and have some interesting rotating slices. It's just a window with some benches outside. The parking lot can be a bit frustrating at times, but there's always lots of street parking around. It's right across from a gold line station.

The best NY pie in the SGV! Perfect crust with an awesome crust-to-cheese ratio. Pizza is very thin (in a good way!) so it unfortunately does not travel well. Best to eat it there or somewhere very close. No indoor seating and parking can be very difficult since there are tables coving half their parking lot.
I've tried many pizzas in my life and this one is way up there , the crust, sauce , cheese is perfect, I ll be going back when I crave a good pizza

This place remind me that Pizza meant to be eaten (Or swollen) by the slice. Here I recently had one of the best Pizzas. The way they make them, give the cheese the smoked taste just the way I love it. They could do little better for the prices, but it worth it. Happy people who are happy to serve you, happy place. Try it, it is refreshing.
You can get great tasting pizza slices very quickly here. Employees always friendly. Price point a bit high, but can get 2 slices and drink for $8.50. Parking lot has limited spaces so might have to find street parking.
Open patio. Limited outdoor seating. Margherita pizza is our usual fare. . Thin crust, fresh tomatoes and freshly cut basil. Sauce has the right tanginess and quantity. Parking can be limited (free), additional parking is available on the street. Good coffee next door.
Had high hopes after watching a one bite pizza review. LA is a tough spot for pizza, crust was good sauce needs a little more Zing, and had too much cheese. I think next time ill try light cheese and extra sauce. Not horrible but could be a little better.
The pizza was really good. New York style. Had to sit next door at another cafe but it was nice. Prices were reasonable special 2 slices and a soda was like $12 or maybe less.
Excellent NY style pizza, comparable to Prime Pizza, but maybe a little better. Just a window with a few outdoor seats, and a terrible parking lot, but probably the best spot in Pasadena for a reasonably priced pizza.
Right next to Jones coffee, there’s a little pizza shop called pie life. This place is counter service only with a couple outdoor seats. Slices are five dollars each. By the slice, their pizza is incredible extremely crispy. Ny style with a very pillowy crust - just how I like my pizzas. Their larger pies are good, but they don’t make it as good as the slice. I think if they made as much effort making each slice in the box crispy, then this place would easily be my favorite pizza place. Pizza - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Atmosphere - 2/5 Total - 10/15
Pretty good pizza. Basically across the street from the Fillmore Gold Line station and just down the street from the Art Center campus. Only outdoor seating that faces the mountains in the distance though so kinda nice. Jones coffee is right next door as well.

Ordered a whole 'LOADED' pie and a slice of the 'SAUSAGE & PEPPERS'. Pizza is really good. Nice crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and biggo slices. I would definitely go here again if I were in the area but probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. Not quite as good as New York Pizza, but it comes close. Needed a bit more tomato sauce. Would like to give their Sicilian slice. The place is kind of hidden and hard to find, but that kind adds to the experience. Limited parking. But the metro literally stops right across the street. Bar top style seating and limited amount of small tables.
Hold the bees 🐝 please 😳 Cute little spot but has to move from where I was planning on eating because there’s quite a few bees in the area. Pizza is over all thin and cut big slice. Good pizza and convenience to work, when I need to get away. Well priced too! Coke and pizza under $10, but kindly don’t forget to tip the chefs! 🙏🏽🤗☀️🍕
Good pizza. Made fast. Good flavor. A little on the greasy side for my taste but wasn't horrible. A bit more crispy and charred than I like also. The crust wasn't very edible at the end. The service was good but at the same time wasn't the most comfortable dining environment. Definitely would come back if I'm in the area. And recommend it for people that want a slice that are in that area.

They have gluten free crust which is great. I ordered the barbecue chicken one and i feel like there wasn't a whole lot of chicken on it.

It had all the right ingredients, but it just didn't hit the spot
I have to be honest.. I was really looking forward to trying this. I’m originally from Boston. I’ve been out here for 14yrs, and finding the perfect east coast slice is very hard. The dough itself has crunch, which is good.. but overall, the pizza lacks flavor imo. The taste of the cheese slice and was pretty bland.. I was hoping the pepperoni slice would be different, but it was still plain-jane to me. Apollonia’s in W. LA is prob the closest to a traditional east coast slice.
Saw the great reviews for this place and was excited but was disappointed. The pizza was just plain undercooked. All but the outer part of the curst was mushy. NYC stle pizza needs to be crisp, not just on the outside but the whole slice!

Pizza has no flavor! It looks better than what it tastes. I rather order Little Caesars.
Would eat their pizza here good amount of times. But would have weird reactions🤔🤔. So not sure what is in their pizzas as most pizzas i have eaten never give such weird reactions!! Anyways my relative told me stop eating pizza here. Plus think when asked if had parmesan cheese they said no. Hmmm. Plus feel like they discriminate!!! Anyways too bad ..if not for reactions i still would eat pizza even if they do discriminate!✌️✌️🤣🤣
