We felt very welcomed and the food was very good. The macho burger was juicy with just enough spice. Everything tasted fresh.

The best bacon I’ve had in a long time! This family business deserves all the stars I could offer. Friendly service, great quality food and playing some oldies music in the background. Great vibes!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious (and exactly as I ordered, my Pastrami Melt was super good), and the wait staff even made balloon animals for my young kids which was so sweet! Highly recommend!

Found this place off of a Google review and thought I would Also rate it. It’s located in a small strip mall near downtown. The restaurant is small but very clean and inviting. The young gentleman who was our waiter was incredibly friendly. The food was very tasty, and the portions were very generous. I recommend.

Had the southwest salad, amazing. Husband had the pastrami melt, it melts in your mouth and the cheese is gooey. He also had tacos. Those were so good! The service was on point. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in town!

Five stars for atmosphere... Because it is what it is. A diner. We had two servers who helped us with our food and drinks. Fast efficient and friendly service. My wife got the egg sandwich on toast that has a bunch of other stuff like lettuce and tomato and peanut butter and jelly I think. She loved it! I got bacon and toast. The bacon was perfectly cooked and tasty. The sourdough toast was toast... Exactly what you would expect when you order toast.

Slightly out of the way but worth it. Just a nice home breakfast, not greasy, everything clean, attentive service, it's the little things that count.

Needed a place to have a quick bite to eat while in Paso for work and found Sunrise. Loved the reviews and the pictures and they have Eggs Benedict which I have been dying to try for quite some time. Ended up ordering the Bacon Florentine Benedict. It was cooked perfectly and the best Benedict for being my first one. The service was excellent. Both quick and attentive and quite friendly. I would definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.

Our waiter was attentive and kind. We sat outside under the gazebo area and enjoyed the fresh air. There's a slight discount if you pay with cash versus a credit card and it's clearly labeled for every item on the menu.

As previous owners of Mr. Mamas breakfast and lunch in Las Vegas we discovered a restaurant that has the same philosophy that we did! Staff was very welcoming and friendly providing excellent service to all patrons. We dined each morning for breakfast during our stay in Paso Robles and didn’t even attempt to search out another restaurant because the food was excellent and consistent each time we visited. Why go anywhere else??? Keep it up!! A must try in Paso Robles.🙂 You will not be disappointed!

I am excited to try dinner here sometime as well. This beats any other breakfast diner in my opinion! It was worth the trip:)

Simple, quick and good. Can't ask for much more than that. Small family owned diner that offers your basic food menu. Order xame out in less than 5 minutes which was great. Coffee was delicious and constantly filled.

We always look forward to stopping here on our way to the coast for the amazing "Sunrise Sandwich"

Burrito was big, but lacked any flavor. The fresh salsa was also flavorless. The price was too much 16.79 for a breakfast burrito.

This was a pretty disappointing experience. It's not that the food was bad - the food was pretty typical. Hash browns are the previously frozen potato strips and the eggs are eggs - not bad, but nothing stand-out. Our disappointment came primarily from our server who failed in the departments of 'dispute resolution/friendly dialog' and 'honesty'. Here's the quick lowdown... We ordered a kids meal and an omelette. My wife and I were to share the omelette. Turns out they charge an extra $2.99 for splitting a meal (see pic) - we didn't expect them to actually cut the meal in half and put it on two plates, but it seemed like a nice touch when it was delivered that way. When I saw the charge I was surprised as the waitress didn't mention a fee for splitting/sharing a meal. I asked her if I was reading this correctly and she said that the fee was noted on the menu. I said I understand, and that it would have been nice if she had noted that when taking the order. She said, in a surprisingly snotty tone, that she didn't have to because it's on the menu. She's right - she didn't "have to". I was in a restaurant, reading a menu so I didn't read all the fine print. If I was visiting an attorney and this was a legal contract I may have read everything, but I didn't think I'd "have to". Had she said "I'm sorry - I'll do that going forward", or "My bad - I should have said something", we'd have been all good. Instead her voice was full of arrogance and self-righteousness. She appeared early 20's, so I attribute her lack of tact and grace to inexperience, but there are plenty of young people who are beautifully sophisticated. She may simply have some growing up to do. My baseline tip is 20% and depending on service, that can go up or down. In this case, I was put off by her crudeness and left $2. I don't generally match my restaurant receipts to my credit card statements, but I had a feeling she would do what she seems to have done. I've attached the picture showing the total charge to my credit card vs. what I signed for on the receipt, and they don't match up. I'm sure the "official response" will be that it was a typo or something to that effect, but pardon me if I don't buy it (which I don't). It is worth noting that one of the ladies who works there (a cook I believe) made a cute balloon animal for our daughter and brought it out as a gift. This was cute, thoughtful, and definitely earns a star.

We came for the 1st time, it was a wait no problem we added our names to the list, the guy who had us sign in assumed we wanted to be Sat outside, he didn't ask our preference, we never sit outside, we usually get asked at restaurants, we didn't know to state. We watched people who came after us get sat in side, when I asked the guy said, oh, I have a table for you outside, I said, we don't want to be sat outside, if you had asked we would of said our preference, heard, we'll, it's going to be an even longer wait cause I'm sitting other's at the available inside tables. We left. That was that. We can go support a different family owned business, so we did. I'll put a review up about the next family owned business, I hope they do better.
