Everything I wanted from a traditional Mexican restaurant. The enchiladas were sooo delicious and the pork ribs amazing, you just have to mop up all the sauce with a tortilla!!!

Get the chile relleno. Unique rustic interior. One of the best restaurants in Patzcuaro for lunch. Award winning.
Service was great they had the social distance had us check temperature, gel to wash hands at entrance , we were quick taken to a table , waitress was quick to take our orders , food tasted great.
Very helpful staff who were more than willing to adapt the menu for strict vegetarian/vegan/plant based needs. The "chiles rellenos de uchepo" (sweet corn tamale) were excellent (after changing the salsa to dairy free)! Prices are reasonable, the decor is cozy and the location (across from the basilica) is excellent. We have already been back once!

Steak was weird. I had same food in a different restaurant and it was fantastic, here I wouldn't order it again. Waiting time for drinks was a bit long. Toilets were in some kind of a storage room. But the place is situated in quite old building and has its spirit.
NOT SAFE FOR TOURIST!!!! NOT SAFE FOR TOURIST!!!! NOT SAFE FOR TOURIST!!!! THEY STOLE 1,000 FROM MY CREDIT CARD STAY AWAY - THEY CHARGED THE FULL TICKET AMOUNT IN DOLLARS INSTEAD OF PESOS AND REFUSED TO REFUND THE ACCOUNT, THEY SAID THEY NEVER FOUND THE CHARGE, BUT OF COURSE THEY DID YOU WILL NEVER SPEND MORE THAN 100 USD EVENT WITH A BIG PARTY. Nos robaron, 20,000 pesos y se negaron a regresarlos y ofrecer el estado de cuenta. Tengan mucho cuidado si utilizan tarjetas extranjeras.
