The Freebirds in Pearland has some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. I was worried when I first tried Freebirds but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the proteins and the large serving size. I always make sure to come here every time I have I’m in town. Even during later times at night they still have their better quality ingredients out, which is a shock considering most food places either run out or have only remnants of their ingredients left. 5/5, would and will eat here again
Really great and clean atmosphere. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. First time here, great food and I had many questions about the different toppings, sauces, and sides. Nick helped answer all my questions and wrap me an amazing burrito!
I love that guac and queso are included in the price and that kids eat free on Saturdays. Great portion sizes.
A bit pricey, Chill employees, only two people taking customers tho?? like they had it down pat but you could tell it was stressful surprisingly still chill. Music is loud at times, employees said they aren’t allowed to turn it down
First off—best customer service in Pearland. I’ve been here maybe four times over the last 2 months and both the service and cleanliness is consistently top notch. The lady visit I ordered nachos; they were delicious. We also got a kid’s quesadilla which is free on Sunday’s. Try the brownies if they’re available.
Delicious, fast and easy! Decided to try this over Chipotle and was not disappointed. The concept is pretty much the same but the flavor is so much better than Chipotle. They also have a spinach and cayenne wrap option! I had their freebird burrito with chicken and added half Spanish and half spicy rice (forget the name). The burrito was big enough for me and my kid to share and still had a little left over. The prices are super reasonable, the customer service very friendly and the lines move quick!
Freebirds in Pearland was a win for our whole family. As someone who’s gluten free and mostly plant based, I was excited to find so many solid options. I went with a burrito bowl built on cauliflower rice, loaded with fresh veggies, beans, guacamole, and sauces. It was light, fresh, and packed with flavor. I love heat, and the extremely spicy habanero sauce delivered, especially paired with the creamy jalapeño sauce for balance. So good. My older son had a carnitas burrito with super tender meat, and my other son crushed steak nachos and loved them. Portions were generous. A Freebirds size was perfect, and even the half size nachos were plenty. Fast service, polite staff, clean space, and food that actually satisfies different diets. We’ll definitely be back.
Post Turkey Day dinner for 4 please... Turkey-ed out we hit the streets to get a bite to eat that did not contain remnants of turkey day. Thankfully, landed here, I felt a little señora Teneha rising up in me, even though it wasn’t Taco Tuesday. As we walked up, my attention was drawn to the BEYOND MEAT signage... hello WINNING!!! I get my Burrito on & with Plant-based meat. W-I-N-N-I-N-G!!!! This made me put some pep in my step, I was SO EXCITED!!! We entered and signage everywhere told you everything. Walking to the counter I KNEW WHAT I’D HAVE... MEATTTTTTTTTTT!!!!! Ordering was easy, the food prepares were helpful, attentive, patient & willing to answer questions as asked. I ordered a burrito on a Thai wrap and added the BEYOND MEAT and other fixings to my liking. The cilantro rice was a tad bit dry, I mention it because I was going out on a limb and trying it; I started to ask to taste test it... but wait can you do that??? Hmmmm... In spite of the not-so-moist cilantro rice, the rest of the burrito was to my liking. Love the ability to see the burrito prepared RIGHT IN FRONT YOUR FACE, makes you appreciate the goodness that your mouth will soon be treated to. The burrito’s size matched my hunger... MASSIVE!!! We couldn’t get home fast enough. Once home, I devoured it in one setting; JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE... I was hOngry, almost hAngry. The Thai wrap was moist and flavorful. The beyond meat was BEYOND GREAT!!! The other fixings mixed with the Thai wrap & the beyond meat gave way for all kinds of tasty explosions in my mouth. This burrito was worth the weight, pun intended, get it I said WEIGHT and not WAIT. Shared parking is the call for the day, but there’s plenty of it... so no worries.
My kids like to drag me here. The food is good for a quick serve restaurant. You can't compare it to a sit down. The portions are huge. I order the hybrid because it's more than enough. My teen son goes for a standard. I could eat that thing for a couple of days. I would say the food is in between Torchys and Chipotle. If youneed to stay local, then this is quick serve Mexican place for you.
The food has good flavor, it was not hot, it was just warm. I would rather be a little more fresh.
What happened to this place😭 I used to come here almost every week after school there used to be so many more employees. Now it is only the 2 working behind the counter with a long line of people. They got rid of all of the tinfoil art on the windows and most of the other pieces of art here. The food is good still but used to be much better. It feels like a corporate hell now.
This company is no good I contacted the website three different times and they all wrote back that someone will contact me from another department but never did. Take your business elsewhere. They would give you the run around.
This was my first time eating here. My son and I got the ranch steak bowls. We got different, rice , beans and veggies. Neither one of us liked our meals. They were way too salty. The chips were all broken and filled up maybe 1/3 of the bag and the queso was also too salty. The guy that served us seemed to be in a huge rush yet the dining room was supposed to still be open another hour. All of the chairs were already on the tables and the place looked closed- was not very welcoming. Anyways I have no plans ⁸ returning.
I came at about 8:30pm on Wednesday, August 6th. The younger worker on the line was so incredibly rude and acted as if I had come to bother him at his house instead of being a paying customer. He looked at me and mumbled. I told him I couldn’t hear him (the music is loud). His response was another mumble. Then he rudely asked “Are you ready?” I asked if he was. His response was yeah with an eye roll. I walked out after telling him I do not let people with nasty attitudes fix my food. I don’t expect Vic & Anthony’s level of service; the food is far from that level anyway. But I don’t pay to be treated like a nuisance. It’s plenty of dining options in the area, including multiple Chipotles, and if everyone’s experience is like mine, that would explain why the parking lot is always empty. Whoever is the manager needs to train staff to behave like adults and not toddlers who need a nap. Edited to add: I read similar reviews. Everybody isn’t lying about the service. It would be wise to do something about that.
a VERY SMALL rice bowl with meat is now $16 with tax (pics below) when just 2 months ago it was $12 & that’s with no queso or no veggies smh i used to come up here almost weekly, but today will be my last day coming bc $16 for a rice bowl is very ridiculous yes i deleted my old very positive review & replaced it with this one. i’m disappointed in freebirds. i don’t like chipotle but if they’re prices are lower than $16 for a rice bowl, i guess ill be going there for now I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ANYMORE NO MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK smh employees are very nice tho
It's been 4 years since I've been to Freebirds. Their food used to be so good. Sadly, that was not my experience today. Paid almost $15 for 2 mediocre chicken tacos, a drink, handful of semi-stale chips, and a tiny container of watery bland queso. Didn't even finish my meal. Eating out costs too much to waste it on bad food. The only positive was the employees. They were friendly and professional. Won't be spending another dime at Freebirds.
I don't even know where to begin, Im almost speechless over how bad this food was! First, I ordered on Doordash and I know that to be mistake number one. My food was so cold it was inedible and disgusting. I got my kids the “weebird” burritos and they are a complete joke smh lol! I can laugh about it now but they were literally the size of a bar of Dove soap. TINY and maybe enough food for a 2 year old. I had no idea because we always eat Chipotle and this was our first, AND LAST time trying Freebirds. The chicken on my burrito bowl was diced into the tiniest little pieces they were smaller than the diced tomatoes. A total waste of money for a cold meal with hard rice and barely enough ingredients to feed a toddler. Never again. Excuse the picture with the dirty fork but I had to post a picture if the size of the bits of chicken. There was maybe almost a table spoon of chicken in the entire bowl smh.
