Celebrated our son’s 22nd birthday here tonight. Perfect spot for a pub on N. Division St., in the heart of Peekskill. Everything was wonderful from the service, to the apps , to our meals. Nathan our server & bartender was great & very attentive. He even made a special drink for my 78 year old mom who is quite picky & she loved it. The rest of us were drinking beer as it goes well with the wings & Nathan kept it flowing. The wings were the best, we tried the Buffalo & the sticky Asian. Yum! The pretzel bites were a big hit too, very soft & tasty & we loved the pierogis! Some of what we ordered : the slider stack, the chicken & waffle stack (cool presentation), & the mother clucker chicken sandwich. Everything was delish & everything came out piping hot! We were a party of 5 & we all said we would definitely be back! Kudos to Nathan & Whisky River!

Stopped here for a drink in October. It looked to be packed from outside during the daytime but got empty enough for us to grab a drink in the evening. Hotspot in the area, and makes sense as to why. The bar was covered in Halloween decoration inside and out. It had a very welcoming atmosphere. Drinks were good, we only had an order of fried pickles as an app, which was a little heavy and greasy but we still enjoyed them with the dip. I would be interested in trying their brunch menu.

First time trying this place out and it didn’t disappoint. Our waiter/bartender Nathan was very attentive and made sure our needs were met the whole time. The food and drinks were on point and tasty. The vibe inside was modern and classy. We will be back for sure.

Traveling Cosmos and Tacos

Ok I started with 5 stars before I even got my burger based on my drink, appetizer and service! But then when my juicy burger came with the homemade BACON!!!! Wow!! Cauliflower Buffalo bites were delicious!! I had the Fight ya naked and The Diablo drinks! Both great! Very satisfied with all the food. Glad we stopped here for lunch! Will def be back again. Right in the heart of Peekskill, great burger bar with great drinks!

We had an excellent experience at Whiskey River. We went on a nice day and ate outdoors. It’s on a super cute street that in the summer has nice live music and people come out to dance. We got two great drinks that had beautiful presentation, and tried the fries specialty wings on the menu. It was all so delicious and fun. Great elevated bar food - great for anyone looking to catch a game and eat something yummy. Highly recommend!

Great place to watch the World Cup or any sporting event. Had all the tvs going with the sound on. Guinness was cold and delicious. The burger was very very tasty. Had amazing decorations up and staff was very friendly. I really liked it and would go back again.

We loved this place! Five friends and I stopped in to this tiny bar/restaurant and we each shared our entrees. All were delicious! But even better was our server/bartender/owner. He had a wonderful Irish brogue and made our meal even more special. We would definitely go back! Try the fish tacos and homemade chips!Highly recommended!

Nice selection of whiskies, great food, great atmosphere, awesome bartenders! Original 4-2-22: Great burger and wonderful drams of A'bunadh and Glenrothes 12. Not pictured were Sazerax rye and the Smoked Old Fashioned. Well made cocktail and well presented spirits. Thanks Pat! Edit 7-30-22: Glenfarclas 12 and Bowmore 12 in the two without bottle photos. Nice place great bartenders who will also serve you food. Food is good but mostly appetizers and some simple entrees. Parking after 6 pm is free which makes life easier.

Stopped in for a quick lunch today, had the leaf it out salad. Great, light but filling salad. Was served promptly, good service and conversation with the bartender. Acidity of the salad was nice with the red onions, green olives, and balsmic vinegarette dressing cut by the cheddar cheese, eggs, and avocados $13, $16.50 with tax and tip. If I have more time next time, I'll try more. Nice L shaped bar for 12 or so, less than half dozen tables, and just under 20 beers on tap. Great whisky selection.

Very good food and a great local beer list. I had the delicious (albeit oversauced) cauliflower bites and the shrimp tacos. Fun vibe. Several families were there with kids and the spot was very accommodating.

The food options are really creative and tasty. The cauliflower bites were crunchy and maybe could have been cooked little more. The chicken and waffle stackers is a great idea, the fries were good but the chicken was overcooked and tough and the waffles were a little soft. Would consider trying again maybe when they're not so busy.
