Must stop!!! Don’t eat at the castle eat here!!! What a pleasure it was to have lunch here. The food, atmosphere, and service was amazing! Everyone was so kind and spoke English very well. Highly recommend stopping here for lunch or for a drink on your way to the castle! I would definitely go again!

We went to Castello di Vezio,and when we finished, we had dinner here. It is with reservation only.My favorite thing was the steak and the wine! Great service, very pleasant dinner

Great find!!! We are staying in Varenna and headed up the mountain to Venzio and found this great restaurant. Staff is super friendly, atmosphere is quaint in this little village, and food was great! We had local perch with rice, a meat tray with vegetables, and the grilled sausage. Everything was very good. The only negative was a cover charge per person but it was lower than in Cinque Terre.

Restaurant and Porch hotel was a beautiful stay in Varenna. Highly recommend the cappuccino and croissant in the little restaurant. Only thing to beware of is you will most likely need a car if trying to explore the other areas of Lake Como.

A perfect hidden gem in Perledo. The food was absolutely divine (especially the local fish dishes) and service was impeccable. A very cosy, homely atmosphere and lovely people.

Tiny portions and can’t compare with other Italian restaurants. We had way better handmade pasta with Truffles in bigger sizes for cheaper in Italian restaurants in Germany.

Would give 3.6 but can’t give four. Wine was great, olive oil in packets, and gnocchi was over done.

Quite a disappointment! Although meals seem inexpensive for the area, portion sizes are small with very few toppings. The "daily meal" poke bowl was the worst: cost 14€ and had only a few crumbs of fish (almost couldn't tell there was any). Not authentic and very overpriced for the poor quality of the food. It's normal to have higher prices in popular areas, but this is definitely a tourist trap and certainly doesn't meet Italian standards.

Unacceptable service. My husband and I wanted to order lunch for our very hungry 2 year old daughter. We also orderd 1 drink per person and a meal for my husband. We were refused service because I didn't want to eat anything and they only accept patrons who order one meal per person. We were sitting in an otherwise empty restaurant, so we weren't blocking a table from other higher paying patrons. Very disappointing and not family friendly. In a tiny village without other food options nearby unacceptable.
