I ordered a 12oz steak with mashed potatos and it was lovley. The waiter even changed the payment to an 8oz because he considered the stake to small (really good). The stake was perfect and so nice staff. S really modern resturant with nice enviorment and a wide range of food!

We were majorly depleted from traveling for 15 hours and eating too much junk food. From the first bite, we did a back flip. It was DELICIOUS!! Yes all caps. That's how good it was.

This food was so amazing I litterly went to heaven and back it was so delicious I could eat this everyday it is such good food it’s like a 3rd world country and the service was amazing and they were so kind

Destin and the team are very nice. I like all the girlies that work there . The restaurant is clean and there is a lot of parking. The deals are amazing half price appetizers after 9 PM. The 2 for $25 is an excellent deal for those of us on a budget. The quality of the food here has been consistently excellent.

Gave someone 500 dollars to come back with a giant steak on 6 open face cheeseburgers smoked and breaded then deep fried he cooked it perfectly. He didn't even work there either just some random guy Walked in the kitchen and came out with perfection 5 stars

Was passing through on a work trip and it has been a DAY. I walked in and was greeted immediately. I asked for a seat away from other people and the gal who greeted me gave me a seat secluded seat by a window. She empathized with my mood and gave me exactly what I needed. I was impressed with the service, the food was what I expected and the beer was tasty and cold. I can't remember her name, but she was amazing. Thank you!

Came in tonight and received service as if a king. The host did everything she could to achieve and exceed my expectations. Bar tender was attentive. Even 30 min before loading (Sorry) place was ready to rock. 👍🏼

Had lunch here with my son on New Year's Day 2019. I was impressed and will be back here with friends. The menu has a good variety of choices, most of which appealed to me. The food we had was tasty. Our waiter was attentive, if a little slow. I'll be back!

This place was fantastic! - We were visiting family and this place was able to make the food exactly the way requested on everything. They even told us ahead of time that they didn't have something to make a drink to see if we still wanted it. - The manager was so helpful too, he wanted to make sure some of our food requests weren't allergy related as the rest of the meal had the same potential allergens in it which is what it call amazing caring and thoughtful customer service. We will be sure to visit again.

The bourbon steak was better than I would ever expect from a chain restaurant. Our drinks were excellent (patron and a perfect margarita) and long lasting. Our waitress was attentive and attractive. Big win.

I was quite elated of how well I was treated today by the Applebees staff today. I originally called in an order to this location but when I got in there was no record of the order turns out the person that took my order wasn't at that location but I did call the right number for that location so long story short the employees that was there that took my order told me it was on the house. I was so surprised that was offered as I was willing to pay. This made my day my only regret is that I didn't get his name. Excellent customer service above and beyond the call of duty.

I was never a true fan of AB's until I came to this location. I LOVE IT!!! I ride my motorcycle here all the time from Bay Area to eat here. The food ALWAYS has been good. Cooked perfectly. The servers are very nice. I hope they dont get replace w those stupid pay tablets on the table. I dont like those. We already have plenty of screen time in our lives.

Excellent Service! I am in town for work this week (from SoCal) & ordered Carside Pick Up for dinner. I parked and as i was fumbling around to figure out how to check-in, Juan was already at my window, food and drink in hand! Very prompt and attentive service. Food was hot and order was correct!

Gigi the Bartender took excellent care of me and my wife. We loved her suggestion to use purret instead of syrup in the margueritas. My wife had the 2 for 25 special, oriental chicken salad, onion rings, Burger and house salad. I ordered the strawberry salad with grilled shrimp and salmon with double broccoli. (Not 2 for 25). Everything tasted great. We look forward to our next visit.

Best experience I've had here or at an Applebee's in a while. Finally! A dedicated bartender/server. Destin was insanely attentive. Drinks were great and it was sooo nice to sit at the bar knowing someone would take of us vice wondering when we'd see a staff member. He's great. Definitely come back again

For your average Applebees, I would say this one’s on the better side. The service was great as well as the food came out pretty quick. Chili’s quality is never the best and you can tell that they use a lot of the same ingredients on different menu items. overall, they have some pretty good specials if you can take advantage of them. their alcoholic selection is wonderful with great cocktails.

I asked for a quiet place where we could here each other talk, and the staff was very thoughtful and accommodating, also with the ramp. 4 of us have various mobility problems, and 2 with profound hearing loss. The staff showed concern. When I asked to split the burger with my sister, they gave it to us nicely arranged on separate plates. As I age, I can't eat as much and have to share!

I always have my dates take me to Applebee's because it's exactly what they want. I want them to be happy.. makes me happy! they have the best hors d'oeuvres. And the best selection of drinks. They're pretty quick and they seat you fast. I like their reasonable prices too. so my guy doesn't think he's breaking too much money off you know what I mean?! It works out. Applebee's is the best choice, especially because, it's open late at night. Good food. good time. TVs everywhere you look. Have not been to an Applebee's in years. It wasn't bad. Late and close to hotel.

First dine in experience since covid19 lockdown started. They seem to be taking good care. Disposable menus, everybody wearing a mask and sanitizers available at multiple places. The only concern was the bar area where the patrons without mask were talking to the staff The food was good. We had fiesta lime chicken and bourbon chicken and shrimp and both had soft succulent chicken breast and good flavors. The ice teas were ok.

My salmon dinner was very delicious.

Applebee's is what it is and it doesn't try to be anything else. The service here was good, even if they were making jokes at my expense. The cocktails were especially good as they do not shy away from putting a lot of alcohol in them. I'm not sure I'll be back but if I do make it back, I'm sure it'll be exactly the same.

I used activemenus for the first time to complete my online order. Very easy to use. I loved being able to have the curbside pick up option for my takeout order. Food was great!!

I really enjoyed my sizzling platter. Steak garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. It comes with broccoli, but they let me swap it out.

Great food! Nice casual atmosphere. The service is excellent. Their Perfect Margarita is Perfect! I took one star off for the occasional lack of staffing when we've gone there during dinner time and after 9 pm. Appetizers came out with our dinner couple of times. Otherwise, we love going here! Danielle is our favorite server:)

Applebee's has decent food and drinks for reasonable prices. This was a good choice for our Friday night family dinner. The kids were entertained and we could all find something on the menu for our tastes. The service was a little lacking tonight. The waiter was friendly but forgot our drinks and messed up my son's order. The experience was not terrie but also not great. We would definitely go back for another family meal.

It has been a while since we came to an Applebees. We were driving south from Oregon and needed lunch and so found this not far from our path. We needed something filling, yummy, and clean and that’s what Applebees typically is. The best part about it is the decor as they make the atmosphere super colorful and vibrant. The service was good and the food was decent, and as ordered.

Staff was great, but there are very little choices for diabetics. Everything has some kind of carb or sugar including salad. They can't make any accommodations because their food is pre packaged.

Fun place for drinks and appetizers!

First went to Rohnert Park Applebee's. Place were not too crowded but waited 5 to 7 minutes and nothing happened (was never this bad service before this date) so we decided to go to Petaluma Applebee's and they are very prompt and were seated right-away and waiter shows up immediately and took our order with a big smile and very positive attitude. Maybe owner/manager changed at Rohnert Park Applebee's within last few months ?

Ribs were so dry. I feel the ribs they brought out the 2nd time were the same ones just more sauce They did take 1/2 off my bill; no word from manager; won't hurry back.

Has anyone that works there actually sat in the barstools at the bar? I’m a grown man and they make me feel like a child. I’m convinced they are put together wrong. Very uncomfortable. The backrests are too far back or should be flipped around. As I’m writing this, I feel like I’m being petty. But this annoys me so much that I won’t come back. If I sit all the way against the back rest, my butt hangs over the back of the chair. I know it’s kind of a dumb reason but dang, these chairs suck.

There was three of us that ate there. The food was good but the service wasn't great. Also they didn't pay attention to what we wanted to order and my iced tea was refilled without more ice and was no longer Iced tea, that happened more than once. I hate warm iced tea and it kind of ruins my meal. All in all, the food was good though and you get a good amount of food

Not bad. If you like to hear the bartender take your order then ignore you... your in the right place. I understand that help is hard to come by, but a bartender is a sought after position always... why treat people bad? If you're not happy... quit. Don't make my experience bad because you can't make better decisions

My Caesar salad was overdressed and I didn't enjoy it. Terrible service even though it wasn't busy. Loud, horrible music that disturbed our conversation. We won't be back.

They did not offer us drink refills and put both drinks on one of our checks. We were two people getting separate checks. When my friend wanted to pay with a card, the server changed her bill without saying a word. When she questioned it, he said he forgot to put the drink on the bill. Then we had to explain that it was on the other check. Very unprofessional. There were no employees around the entrance when we were leaving or I would have asked to speak with the manager.

Eh, used to go when I lived in Chicago for many many years. But as times change and tastes change…Applebee’s doesn’t—nor does the taste/quality. I think it’s time for a complete revamp of tvs everywhere covering sports no one really wants to watch (or at least me). Maybe I’ve just outgrown the status quo.

Service was great. Food was eh, as to be expected at Applebee's. The drinks could have been made better. Overall the server made it a good experience and we would come back for cheap drinks. Update 2024: Service wasn't as good tonight but we will be back for cheap drinks like everyone else.

Went after work, around 8:30. Was looking for relatively healthy light dinner. This place is it. Small portions for decent price. Very tasty meal, but service is definitely slow, but nice. If your HUNGRY, you'll be disappointed with portion..

Nice staff, clean and typical Applebee's layout. My wife really liked the oriental chicken salad. I had a classic cheeseburger which was pretty tasteless but the French fries were good. The spinach and artichoke dip was enh.

Applebee's is always fun, but this kitchen got everything wrong. Not the waiters fault, I could see on the receipt that he put in the order correctly. This was the kitchens fault when it came to timing...everything came out all at once...appetizers with the main course, drinks, ect and the two different kinds of steaks were cooked opposite how we ordered them...medium vs well done. Again, the receipt showed that the waiter put it all in correctly. Frustrating to get all your three course meal at once. Otherwise all was clean and staff friendly.

Good service from the server, not the hostess. We were a party of 5, the largest tables there are for parties of 4. She would only give us an extra chair. Later on, the server offered to push another table together with ours, which gave us the space we needed for our dinner. Beware, if your party is more than 4, your table space will be cramped. Note, the restaurant was not very busy when we were there.

I suppose "Eating Good in the Neighborhood" depends on other places you have to choose from. In Petaluma, there are so many other great places to eat that are not franchises. My peeve? I love chicken wings! I had the boneless and the bone in. Both were dry and tough. No good reason for this. Freezer burn/overcooked? Just don't care? When I brought this to the server's attention, her response was, "It's hit or miss." Do not set your expectations high at this place.

I thought I could find something on the menu, but nothing popped out at me. Can't say I would recommend it to anyone, it's not the location it's the chain. They had Sunday Football on, but we're playing some horrible pop music.

Ordered curbside to go sat their on time waiting in correct spot no one came out after a while I went inside. Shouldn't have tipped with card. Also got sides meal and it came with about 3 piece of broccoli you would think they could forkout a little more.

I give two stars because really the prices are over priced for the food you get. One they do not know how to cook a steak Med Rare. Always comes Well done. The music that they choose to play sometimes is not great for dinner. They just love to put the air conditioner on even when its not hot. Make sure you bring a jacket to eat and possibly some ear plugs. The menu is ever changing so you can't pick a favorite, it may not be there next time.

I actually do enjoy the food and would be repeat with my buddies but the servers don't actually like it when you sit there and spend money. Complaining about how we wouldn't leave when we were still there drinking and the next time we came to avoid a long stay, they dropped off the check and never came back. I understand a limit when there are other people waiting to be seated but they were not busy. As long as we are spending money during our stay, I don't see why they don't want to do their jobs. We will just take our money somewhere else.

The food was better than I expected. The sirloin steak was very good and cooked to order. The Cedar plank salmon is delicious. The staff was warm and attentive. There is a good selection of beers and wines. The only problem is that we had to return 2 sets of silverware because they were not clean.

Attempted having an early dinner and was seated immediately I was with a table of 7 waited for over 20 minutes no attention given our way no water or greetings from any server. Our patience ran dry and we left after another party of 7 or more came after us and was immediately helped before they sat down by a waiter who seemed to know them personally and I could only guess was supposed to be out waiter. Do better.

Decided to try their new chicken Parmesan. The chicken was rubbery and visibly undercooked - the texture was so bad I couldn’t even try to eat it and had to send it back. Absolutely no offer to even partially discount it or anything, so I had to pay full price for a meal that I barely even got to eat. Costs too much to be wasting money on something I didn’t get to even slightly enjoy.

Had their version of a French Dip and it was horrible. The meat tasted old and the Au Ju was more like a old version of French Onion soup. My wife had the ribs and the mashed potatoes were cold along with the ribs. Not going back.

What a dissapointment. I haven't been to Applebee's in a couple of years. I can guarantee you this.... We won't be coming back to the Applebees's in Petaluma. On my plate the french Fries were dry, tasteless and cold. They felt like they were leftovers from the day before. On my father in laws plate the 12 oz Ribeye had so much fat and gristle on it there was very little edible meat.

Ordered a steak medium I got it raw, sent it back and got rare. This place sucks at customer service the waitress was passive aggressive. The manager did nothing but apologize made no attempt to fix the situation. Would not advise eating here

Well the commercial is better than the restaurant. The garlic potatoes tasted weird didn't eat. The steak was cooked wrong. The hostess just threw our forks and knives on the table. Didn't bring napkins. Need I go on? Not going back.

We were rushed. We didn't even finish our meals before the waitress came with Togo containers. We did not ask for them. The hostess gave is dirty looks the whole time too. WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE. I should have saved money and gone to Burger King Next Door.

So I dont know what happened here but this place used to have the best food to table times and the best customer service out of all the applebees but yesterday it was the worst I have seen one person in our party had a piece of metal in there food Also they mixed up two of our orders and completely forgot to bring one order and they still charged us the mixed up order even though they brought what they were supposed to bring orginally later also we didn't get all the kids discount yesterday fir Easter and our waiter was not waiter matterial to say the least we spent two hours in the restraunt from ordering to eating thats how long it took for the food we probably waited an hour just for the food alone

I ALWAYS get sick from their food. I've spaced out my visits over the years and even opted for "healthier choices", but still manage to be clenching to my stomach when I get home. It could be just me. Management isn't very helpful. Went with a large group. Asked payment to be split between 2 credit cards. Our server couldn't figure it out. Lots of waiting...for everything even to get the payment fixed.

I'm a disabled that was impaired leg &arm&My family members came from Oregon approximately 3 weeks ago to have early Christmas I pre-ordered the meal was there on time took a taxi I got home the meal was way overcooked it was horrible the meat look gray it was disgusting some of the food was not in the ordersalad was wet salad was also the croutons were wet couldn't eat it the manager said she refund my order order and okay I thought that would beexceptable although I paid for a taxi that was my choice usually I get a good meal from Applebee's they never refunded my money I've asked him several times as a matter of fact the manager I spoke to this evening when I said one of the items was not in the bag she laughed and said I'm the one that put it in and it was in the back and wanted to argue I'm not into arguing I'm working with the UCSF cancer center right now I can't I can't handle cruelty and I think that they think it's a joke and it isn't I'm very limited money and for them to treat me like this is horrible horrible they're horrible persons it works there I want corporate to call me they've got my phone this is unacceptable the way I've been treated corporate of Applebee's needs to call me I have witnesses here that heard her laugh tonight over the phone it's unacceptable

Talked to the manager about carrying our product and he said he wanted to and told me to contact him at the end of the week when I came back in at the end of the week he gave me the number for the decision maker for the Petaluma Applebee's so I gave the number a call 2 times a couple days apart and never received a call back, so I left a message at the Petaluma Applebee's for the manager and he never gave me a call back, so I have been dining other places instead now. Food is pretty good and the service is pretty good I would of given 5 stars but I don't appreciate that kind of treatment when I was regular customer.

The manager spilled salsa all over me on my birthday. No appology and she gave me a dirty busser rag to clean up with. We asked for a discount and she gave me a $3 discount on a $40 tag. I looked like I was covered in barf and I smelled like mop bucket. Shockingly terrible service. There are lots of great restaurants for dates or families in Petaluma. I urge you to find a different place to eat.

I used to come here often, but after last nights SMASH & GRAB APPLE BEES PARKING LOT Gang Hit during the Warriors final game, I witnessed many very unhappy Hour customers around my truck with several windows broken into cars while eating there I came back to finish my Special happy hour meal with Blue moon to get a bill for A $32 meal.. there SPECIAL HAPPY HOUR MENU IS NOT SO SPECIAL,THERE SLY OF THE BIFOLD BROCHURE,ONLY THE BACK PAGE IS VALID.. not worth coming back here ever!

Friday night after a show in San Francisco, my friend & I went to Applebees around 11pm. We sat at the bar. I just ordered a drink, my friend ordered a drink & an appetizer. The waitress was nice enough. Food was brought & about 5 minutes go by she asks how good is, my friends bashful so I mention it's not very hot. Cheese not melted etc. waitress turns away mumbling, “well it’s been sitting 10 minutes” goes to manager & says, “she’s just trying to get out of paying” I was shocked she would accuse 60 year old well dressed women of this. I don’t think she meant for us to hear her. Manager came over & asked, “what’s the problem” no problem. Waitress asked, we told her, then turned copped attitude. We’d line the bill please. We pay, as we’re walking out waitress sarcastically says, “have a nice night ladies” I turne to her & said, “ quit it. You accused her of stealing food, just quit it” I’ve worked in the biz, I’ve never seen someone treat a customer this way. And to accuse someone of stealing because we said the food was cold when asked. She seemed overworked & like she did not care one bit about treating a customer this way. We won’t be back

2 for $30. Portions were small, food was very poor. Mashed potatoes were, I’m guessing, powdered? Flavorless. My 16 yr kid who will eat almost anything didn’t finish his plate. The appetizer was crosscut fries with cheese and bacon. Somehow they managed to screw that up. Small portion and just subpar. Needless to say I won’t be back.

We went for dinner and drinks. The server was nice. We ordered a salad and a burger and a couple drinks. The burger wasn't cooked enough so we sent it back. It took an hour to get the replacement. So we had to take it to go. Then our bill was wrong, we were charged for that burger twice. The only server there at the time got 11 more tables as we waited for the burger and no manager ever came out to help him. One of the managers finally took one of the burgers off the bill. We didnt get a discount or an apology.

Only really go here for the happy hour. Will be going to the petaluma location instead from now on. The service at the rohnert park one is sub par. They're always forgetting something in the order. The last time I went, they asked me and my buddy if we were ready to order. we said yes, they took my friend's order and then walked away. Without even taking my order, I had to call them back over, which took ten or so minutes and then my friend received his food well before I did so it was kind of weird just sitting there while he was eating..

Four cheese mac n cheese with honey chicken tenders were horrible. The pasta was watered down, no flavor at all, to runny. And the tenders were too hard to bite. The house salads were hard over ripe tomatoes, which made the salad soggy. First and last time at this Applebee's.

There was ants all over the table and there was a beetle in my salad. manager barely gave us a discount, acting like that wasn't a food safety and inspection violation. food tasted microwaved and even the chicken tenders were bad. they can't even get the most basic meal to taste decent. disgusting don't recommend.
