Its easy understand wy they have almost five star , nice people i been loading at the location in chicago 1843 s washtenaw ave , they are very profetional , this mesage its for owners you have so valuable people in this place 👍👍
Great beers! Tasty food! Amazingly dog-friendly! And...exceptional service while following all of the COVID-19 requirements. Do plan on waiting at least 20 minutes and upto an hour (at peak times). Attention to distancing and cleanliness take time, and Lagunitas is going above and beyond. You won't be sad you waited.
I had a great time here. This place is perfect on a nice sunny day. They have a very open concept, most of their space is outdoors. There's a large makeshift amphitheatre-type setup where they hold concerts and shows. If you're coming for a show, you should bring a mat to sit on or some lawn chairs. Keep in mind it's the bay area so it'll be warm and sunny in the day, but as soon as the sun starts to set it gets pretty chilly so dress accordingly!
Took the tour with Tyler and it was fantastic! Gave us an extra sample of the Pilsner to try and the Loft bar alone is worth the tour price. Stopped by the taproom afterwards and ordered the nachos, burger and fries and of course more taproom exclusive Lagunitas brews. 10/10 would recommend
Legendary Beer and awesome location. Been drinking Lagunitas beer for years but to finally visit the original location just confirmed their place in beer mecca! A must visit for beer lovers.
This is a “must go to” brewery. There 2 large outdoor areas to enjoy the beer and their food menus is wonderland as well. They have a large beer select that includes many limited batches that are only available insight. Lagunitas is committed to social distancing so you may have to wait for a few minutes to get your table. This gave a an opportunity to chat with other fellow beer drinkers and dog lovers. Yes, Lagunita’s is dog friendly. Enjoy Lagunita’s it’s a great place with friendly staff.
A great outdoor area for getting some drinks. It is first come first serve though, seating could be a problem on occasion. The area is also dog friendly, and of course they have like almost 30 beers on tap and a huge schwag store. Foodwise, the menu is small and we got a BLT, a spicy burger, a pretzel and a hotdog. All of which were pretty good. The pretzel was a nice standout as was the burger.
During our weekend trip for the BottleRock festival, we stopped by this popular brewery. It was so nostalgic since this location was one of our first brewery experiences when we started discovering our love of craft beer. It surely didn’t disappoint, the beers were fresh. They let us try new releases and service was timely. Thank you for the great memories and shoutout to our beertender, Ashley 🍻
We took a Sunday afternoon and came up for a tour and lunch. The tour guide was fantastic and to see the growth over the past decade was pretty cool. I did the tour about 12 years prior and the whole operation has truly grown. The food was fantastic and all the staff we encountered truly enjoyed their job. My only disappointment was that they do not offer tours and tastings on the weekends, even for a small group. Ours was about 8 people. You can only do a tour and tasting during the week, which can be quite difficult for those of us who do not live close by. That being said, I will not make the same mistake next time and will choose to do the tour midweek so that we can go into the old tasting room and try some of the great brews.
On a road trip from SoCal to NorCal, we stopped at more than 10 breweries and Lagunita's was by far the best one for both their customer service and beers on tap. The day we were there they had a food truck and the food was delicious as well! The Beer-tender was sweet and knowledgable, I really wish I would have remembered her name because she was lovely! We interacted with several employees while we were there and they were all amazing! I honestly wish I loved closer because I could see myself spending a lot of time here!
The staff are phenomenal! Everyone we encountered was so pleasant and accommodating. It was BUSY, so I appreciated their attentiveness and letting us know wait times, but making sure we had what we needed until the food came (which was also excellent). Look forward to coming back! The Michelada’s are amazing.
Visited the Lagunitas Brewery taproom for the first time. The beer selection and quality were outstanding in addition to the service from our Server and Wait staff. The atmosphere was fun and festive with live music on the Friday evening we visited in addition to the indoor and outdoor seating, lawn area, game area and cool gift shop.
Lagunitas is a must when I visit Petaluma, it never disappoints, in fact I think they improve on every visit. This weekend our server Annie was the best, so friendly and knowledgeable. The smoked buffalo wings were perfection. I am head over heels for the peach disorderly teahouse(I am usually a beer drinker!) And last but not least Lindsay in the gift shop was so freaking awesome, we bought all the schwag because of her!
Ordered a flight and asked our waiter to pick for me and they were delicious! It was about $10 for a taste of 4. Order the truffle fries and the pulled pork tacos....pass on the nachos...be prepared to wait a little as they tend to have alot of flow in the weekends....the waiter will give you a heads up. If your starving they can bring root beer or stout beer float out quickly! Totally recommend!
This place has by far the best year that I've ever had and it has even once that you've never tasted before with pots that have fruity flavors and exotic combinations of taste come here for a great Friday or one of the live shows and have the best concerts! And you got to try this burger that we just tried it was called the "finger lickin fried chicken"
We stopped here while driving from San Francisco Airport to Santa Rosa. My wife is a big fan of the Lagunitas IPA that we get at home, so we tried a couple flights of their other beers. While we did not like all of them, we really enjoyed a couple quite a bit. It was fun to try so many different flavors all at one place. We also got a plate of nachos that was pretty tasty. We really liked the taproom itself; it felt like a hometown kind of place where everybody goes.
If you're a fan of IPAs, then you should definitely make a stop here. Great atmosphere and environment, lots of people but not too crowded or rowdy. The bartender was extremely helpful, he helped my girlfriend who doesn't like IPAs taste 7 different beers before finding one she likes. They also have a live band, and regular free tours of the brewery at 3 and 5 PM.
Cassidy is a fantastic tour guide, we adored her!! Awesome beer and great food in the tasting hall too!!
A nice stop of your a beer fan, but still a great place to eat if your not. WWWWayyyy busy when we were there and they lost our food order the first time around and so charged us for the beer sampler only, Food on the house!!!. Peteluma can be hot in the afternoon so the large patio was still warm, (making the beer better) The tour and story of how Laguinitas came to be is very worthy of your time, parking was hard the day we were there for lunch, It's right off the freeway so easy to find.
I’ve always wanted to go here. And I finally got the chance!! It in an uninteresting corporate warehouse area..but when you get in, it’s beer paradise. With music (when I was there). And great food. And super fresh awesome beers! The nachos were cheesy lightly crunchy deliciousness. Go here if you find yourself anywhere near Petaluma.
In addition to the indoor seating area, there are multiple outdoor open areas to sit and enjoy the popular fresh brewed beers. One outdoor area is open to sunlight with large umbrellas. Another outdoor area has a netted sun shade spanning the entire space in addition to umbrellas, so those who prefer to avoid direct sunlight can appreciate this space. The food ranks as high as the brew, so you are sure to have a pleasurable dining and drinking experience while visiting the brewery. The different seating areas are well lit, nicely landscaped and we'll decorated. The atmosphere it creates is one of comfort and leisure. As the evening sets in, tall heaters help to keep guest comfortable on cold nights. Wheel chair accessible. Highly recommended.
If you love their beers, the brewery doesn't disappoint. Went here with some friends and we each got a flight and split a huge plate of chicken nachos. The selection of beers was enormous, and flights are completely customizable. They had live music, an incredibly inviting space and fast, friendly service. Only wish we would've come in the day and had a chance to tour the facilities, but next time!
Obviously the beer here needs no introduction, but this place also offers a great outdoor seating area and really solid food. The spicy chicken sandwich was exceptional and another person in our party stated that the BLT was the best he's ever had. I would maybe suggest sticking with the bar food here as the salad and grilled cheese were both a bit meh according to others in our party.
We made a short stop here after driving our foster dog to Santa Rosa on her way to a rescue in Willits. We were so pleased to try Willetized stout. The flavors are complex and the finish very smooth. We also enjoyed a plate of nachos as well before over 2.5 hours drive home. Since I was the driver and only had beer tastings, I was happy we could purchase more of the stout to enjoy at home.
There’s a reason that this place prints money… theyve got the drink/ chill algorithm down solid. Great food, better beer, sweet outdoor grass venue for live music. Even the teas and seltzers are brewed to perfection…. And I don’t even like those types of alcoholic beverages. Hands down my favorite place to bring a laptop during lunch, day drink and be semi productive. Shout out to the host Cole, for always taking good care of me. Cheers 🤘
I came here during a recent business trip and stopped by as I have always been a fan of their beer. The place is huge with lots of parking and this was a Friday late afternoon. The band was really good, folksy and local. I ordered a Daytimer IPA as I had to drive. The grounds are immense and really fun to walk around. They even have a small amphitheater. I was able to catch a free tour, that takes you through their old tasting room. This was the best brewery tour I have ever been on and the stories about the brewery are amazing. I wish I lived in this town to come here every week!
This Place Is Awesome!! I’ve been trying to stop by here before or after wine country for a few years and finally made it happen. Not only was there a wide selection of experimental and limited release beers, but the tasters were only $9 or $10 each for 4 tastes. The pleasant surprises: the outdoor area is a blast, there was live music and the food was surprisingly tasty. The chicken Cobb is some of the best grilled chicken that I’ve ever had, and the bacon was pretty ridiculous as well!! This is a great stop off in wine country or a destination all in itself!!
Stopped here while out exploring for a drink and a snack, really nice bar with a good section of beers. There was a hiccup when I was brought my drink and it was a smaller size and they fixed this super quick. We only ordered the brussel sprouts to eat but a great portion size and really tasty.
Always have a wonderful time at the brewery! Extremely friendly, organized and quick service. Love all the dogs at the tables. The schwag store always has unique finds! We have the banh mi tacos, buffalo fries and vegetarian chilli. All were delicious and highly recommend them!
Went here on my birthday with wife and kid. I'm not a huge fan of IPAs but wanted to give a try. The host was very friendly and guided us through the beers they had to offer. She suggested the Hazy Wonder which was less hoppy. I loved it. Ended up getting two crowlers. We also had lunch here. Jumbo wings are a bit messy to eat, but delicious. The Bavarian pretzel sticks were really good as well. It was a long drive from South Bay, but definitely worth it :)
Every Sonoma visit should include this place. Parking: plenty of parking space available Ambiance: This location offers indoor and outdoor area. Awesome live music when we visited. We just tried only Bar foods, the items we tried were really good. Fast service and friendly waiters. Sampled all the beers and choose to go with their popular Lagunita IPA. Must visit this place.
I can't recommend The Loft at the Lagunitas Brewery enough. Travis and his team were tremendous hosts for our company event and took care of everything which included food, a tour and full bar service for a reasonable cost. The Loft is such a great space and my team loved the stories that came with every item on those walls. Will be using this space for future events for sure.
Wow, what an awesome experience visiting the Lagunitas brewery. Tyler gave us an awesome tour. It’s amazing to learn about the brewery’s humble beginnings. The tap room feels like a trip back in time, made even more entertaining by Tyler’s epic story telling.
Visited Lagunitas Brewery on a Sunday midday after our daughter’s soccer game. We had a pretty big party of 14. We did not have any issues getting seated. This place is family & dog friendly! The vibes are great from the moment you walk through. The service was fantastic. Food came out in stages but drinks were flowing. I love the fact that they have a vegan burger option. I asked mine to be lettuce wrapped & they absolutely accommodated me!!! If you are a beer fanatic; this is a must stop!!!
Cassidy lead me on a brewery tour and absolutely nailed it. She kept me safe - I wasn't run over by a forklift and no hot water hot my eyes due to safety glasses. She told the fun stories of the owners and brewers and I chuckled many times. She didn't even see my taco and hot sauce socks I was wearing. So her story telling was authentic! I had a great time. Cassidy was worth the hire and maybe a raise....? Love your Oktoberfest/Lagufest. Untill next time. Prost. 🍻
What can I say that has not already been said about this wonderful local brewery that has not already been said? Well see I am not really a fan of alcohol. Never had any issues with it just not a fan. But Lagunitas is much more than beer. They have an amazing covered patio that covers the seating area for an outside bar and inside bar and food service. They have events merchandise and tours that you can take. It is a truly beautiful establishment well ingrained in Sonoma County and especially Petaluma. I was eating with some coworkers there today and I got the spicy chicken sandwich with the barbecue Mac salad. One of my friends got the 3rd pound burger, and my other friend got the chicken salad sandwich. All the food is top notch albeit they brought my friends beans late after he had finished his meal. Other than that zero complaints!!
This is hands down one of the best brewery experiences I’ve had. The vibe is super laid-back and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and really knows their stuff. They’re happy to help you navigate the tap list, which has a great mix of classics and creative small-batch options. The IPA is still a standout. The outdoor patio is a great hangout spot. It’s dog friendly, family friendly, and just has a really good energy. Our dog Emma had the best time and made a few new friends. Whether you’re a craft beer fan or just looking for a chill afternoon, Lagunitas is a solid pick. I’m already looking forward to going back.
All the staff was very kind and the service was fast. Drinks come to the table very fast. We had a huge pretzel with cheese sauce and it was amazing delicious 😋 We also ordered a clasic burger and the meat was juicy, but well cooked. Everything was very delicious and I recomend you try the garlic fries they are delicious.
A very bustling brewery with a great indoor and outdoor seating. A flight of beers is recommended for any craft beer enthusiasts while their food bistro pub is more than enough to share any of their single dishes with 2 people. Menu includes kids meals as well. Non alcoholic and tea-like beverages also available. From the limited beer releases (summer 2023) the Toast of Petaluma was our favorite pick. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable about their entire menus and offerings. Outdoor seating and atmosphere is very laid back and friendly. Dogs are welcome as well. Worth a trip out and they offer live music on certain dates during the summer months.
Top 3 on my brewery list. One of the best all around beer experiences I’ve had. I had 2 flights with all varieties and everything was outstanding and the staff was awesome. I was never a big fan of their flagship beers but the brewery beers I am. I had hazies, west coast, porter, stout, the unique cocktail beers (loved) and the tea concoctions which were awesome and I don’t like tea. Definitely a must visit and in my case a must return. Almost forgot the food. Very good. Buffalo fries were top notch
Very tasty! Worth the wait. Had the nachos HUGE! But if I ordered them again I would get the cheese on the side because of soggy chips. My only complaint was the food was brought out at different times as each plate was a meal not an appetizer. Took almost 10 minutes later for the sandwich. I was happy to share my nachos with my spouse, but food should be brought out all at the same time. Otherwise carry on delicious happy with our beers.
Excellent brewery. Make sure to sign up for the free tour where you get a free pint! Tyler was an awesome tour guide who seemed to know everything about the place. Very funny. The location itself is amazing and huge. They have an outside area with some food and drink, the main outdoor area with their whole menu and live music, and their indoor area with bar. Lots of places to sit but crowded on weekends! Make sure to come earlier or wait for people to leave. They have lots of beer, some wine and cider. Ask for a sample! You can also get a beer flight. The wings were huge and tasty- recommended. The spicy burger was a favorite of the group as well. Come by for a drink and food! We already visited twice in one month.
The food was good. The service was good in the ambience was quite unique. I believe they called a beer garden.

Super cute dog friendly outdoor beer garden and taproom. Great beer selection and great food. Really fast service and nice/friendly staff.

We spent time visiting Lagunitas during our vacation in Petaluma and loved it! The vibes are cool with the summer sun out on their patio while drinking amazing beers. Highly recommend
We did a brewery tour with tyler as our guide, it was great learning about the history of the brewery and he had a great sense of humor!

We had a celebration in their event, space recently, and had a fabulous time. The food was fine, nothing to rave about, but the service was exceptional. The funky fun loft was a great place for our party and the icing on the cake was the service by Zach and Becci. They had the perfect balance of being attentive, but giving us our space. Highly recommend for a casual, fun vibe (if you’re lucky enough to have Zack or Becci working the event)
This brewery in Sonoma County, Petaluma CA is a mix of romantic ideals of bohemian times, where music and conversation were the framework that build the local brewery-bar experience. The place still preserves that zeitgeist with more lights and a greater beer menu. There is plenty parking space and lots of outdoors accommodations close to the performances stage....people speak, and mumble when drunk...): The staff and the food are great!!! Make it a great visit! Please don't drink and drive...love(:
As a seasoned traveler and craft beer enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lagunitas Brewery, and I must say, it did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with lively music and a bustling crowd. The star of the show for me was the Pink Paws beer. This fruity and refreshing ale was simply delightful, with just the right amount of sweetness and a subtle hoppy finish. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new and unique. But the food was also not to be missed. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, with a generous amount of dressing and perfectly seasoned. And the queso dip was simply divine - creamy and cheesy with a hint of spice. It was the perfect accompaniment to my beer and made for a truly satisfying meal. And let's not forget about the service. The staff at Lagunitas Brewery were friendly and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed and offering suggestions for other menu items and beers to try. They truly went above and beyond to make my visit a memorable one. Overall, I would give Lagunitas Brewery a solid four stars. The Pink Paws beer was excellent, the food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fun and tasty brewery experience.
Awesome time here on a Thursday afternoon. It’s a pretty well known brewery so I was excited to check it out on my trip. The layout is awesome and sprawling. Cool little venue with music I bet. The menu was loaded with options with interesting flavor options. Solid value too. If I’m back in town I will likely go back
Great beers, good food, slow service. We drove out of town to visit Lagunitas twice over the weekend. I’ve been drinking their beers for 20 years now, so it was a long overdue visit. I love their limited selection of beers. Almost too many too try! Although “unlimited” we both absolutely loved the Hazicus Maximus. It’s bomb and at 9% ABV it creeps up on you. But service was fairly slow both times. Second time we came, food was coming out 45 min to an hour. And there were some real inconsistencies with items like the BLT. First time it was bomb, second time it was super skimpy with way too much mayo. Wings were good though! Also, they need to hire more waiters? You got like one waiter per 10 communal tables at times. The staff though generally friendly. And we were chopping it up with one of the tour guides. He loved our dog. A couple of the staff were messing me about my Sierra Nevada brewery hat; it was fun. The swag shop is pretty good too. Spent way more than I thought I would haha. We will definitely be back, just gotta be prepared for a crowded and loud ambience and fairly slow service. The beers make it all worthwhile though!
Lagunitas has been a regular spot and favorite of ours for a long time. However in recent years the menu has changed. They no longer offer some of our favorite items they once did--Korean pork belly …
Love mah hamburger, garlic fried and mah mechalada. Service is great. Good for a group of ppl. The ambiance are cool! You can sit outside and inside. And you can bring your doggies.

Lagunitas is hit or miss. If you time it right, there’s live music, great vibes, and great beer, most of the time. Sometimes, especially in off peak hours, you get slow service, half the menu is gone, and the atmosphere is cut in half. Also, over the last 5 years, the menu has been cut down and the food quality has decreased significantly as well. So it’s hard to make a blanket recommendation.
We come regularly, the outdoor staff and servers are always great, the dark haired women at the bar is quite unpleasant however.
The beer is fantastic. Had a flight and really enjoyed it. We also ordered nachos, and frankly, they are the worst ones I've ever had. The cheese is like Velveeta and within 2 minutes became a sticky, gloopy mess. The chicken is so measly, that if it was 3 tablespoons' worth, I would be surprised. The nachos are the cheap, heavily fried ones with bubbles. Finally, the other reason for the 3 stars is that the waiter who brought our drinks, holding the glasses from the top, so that all of his fingers touched the rims. Unsanitary and just yuck!
Spent four lovely days at a birthday celebration in Dillon Beach with 12 women friends; decided to eat lunch at Lagunitas Brewing. Everyone received their order except me. I finally received my meal when everyone else was finished. The good news--they comped my order. Food was plentiful and filling.
why did you change packaging, love your beer. looked strange when I finally found it today. thought first one tasted different, but just a mind set from new package. next one tasted like my all day ipa. glad no recipe change . love all your beers, but for old fat man that loves IPAs with good flavor all day is the best. thanks to you all happy holidays.
I will always love this place but the live music is way too loud. No one can have a conversation on the weekends.

Great place to hang out, but limited food menu and VERY slow service. We're 50 minutes and still no food. Great place to bring a dog.
I really enjoy the beer here, but food experience was very disappointing. We waited more than 50 minutes for our burgers. A simple warning would help.
Love the beer, but the food experience was really bad tonight. It took over 50 minutes to get our burgers with hangry kids (with no advanced warning of a delay, just tell people it's going to 50 minutes so they can manage hungry kids). The food came out and the kids burgers were cooked medium at best (which is really super unsafe for kids), so we ate the perimeter of the burger that was cooked enough. I told the server about how the burgers were super undercooked and they comped us a beer, but not the burgers, even though they could see how under cooked the burgers were. The server was nice, but this was a really frustrating experience. Please tell people when things are really slow before they order, and cook burgers safely and thoroughly for kids.

The food is too greasy! The salads just have a bunch of lettuce. The environment is not very diverse. Seating is not very comfortable. Smelled like dog poop.
It was our first time; four of us came on a Saturday for the live music. We were seated in the food service section, but the hostess stand advised us that we could go to the bar to ask questions and/or order too. We ordered food and non-alcoholic drinks with our server, however my father and I wanted to walk around and then speak with the bartender for their suggestions. My father and I ordered a beer each from the inside bar and came back to the table and sat back. Eventually the waiter noticed and came over looking irritated and said, "You know, you can order drinks with me." with a bit of attitude. We were surprised and apologized, and said that we didn't know, and we'll be mindful in the future. It made us a little uncomfortable as we thought we doing what was advised by other members of the staff. They kept coming around and checking on us often to see if we needed more drinks or food, but it was making us more and more uncomfortable so we didn't want to order anything else but just leave. The only stayed as long as we did because my father wanted to listen to the live music. When they brought us the bill, they told us in a stronger and more aggressive tone that we shouldn't have gone and spoken to the bartenders and ordered ourselves but ordered from them. Which was incredibly unprofessional, in my opinion, as you've already chastised us once, and we genuinely apologized and that should have been the end of it. Furthermore, the tone and attitude was unwarranted, because we did not do it out of spite. It was a mistake, but we didn't want to order anything more because of how the waiter acted towards us, and at the end when we got the bill, we were glad we didn't. When we left, the only reason we thought that they were so aggressive and insistent on the drink order is because of tip. We spent 18$ on the drinks before tip, which would have amounted to approx. $3.00 give or take. When I purchased my drink at the bar, I tipped. I didn't like what they were implying. The rest of the experience: Band was good. Nachos were missing a fair amount of cheese, and heavily oversalted (some chips looked like sugar on churros with the amount of salt). But fresh chips were a nice touch. And the root beer float was really yummy. But was it enough to offset the horrible experience? NO. We will definitely not be back until they've trained some of their staff to handle those situations better. Have them all on the same page for recommendations and information, and remind the staff that everyone, especially newcomers, may make mistakes and handle them politely and appropriately.
I did a 2 hour and 40 minutes trip from Monterey Ca to Petaluma and all I can say is that I was really disappointed. Place is way too overcrowded and loud . We were never asked if we wanted more drinks and at the gift shop the lady was just watching me like a hawk. I hadn’t even reached the counter to pay for the stuff I was buying when she had already had put it on the register ready to be charged. I felt if she just wanted me out of there as fast as I came in. I instead recommend the 805 Brewery in Paso Robles it’s much better and people are more nicer.
