Absolutely fantastic. 6 of us including wives and girlfriend booked for one of our delayed birthday lunch. They happily accommodated us for Friday lunchtime. Because of the time it was quite quiet but the service was quick and courteous. Three of us ordered sea bream which was delicious the others ordered various pastas which were deemed delicious. The Limoncello ice cream and Tiramisus were wonderful as were the red and white wines. Wonderful lunch and we worth the visit.

Another excellent meal for the family. Delicious food and warm friendly service. Although I had an issue with my order for a rare fillet steak that was cooked medium well or worse. Showed the waitress and the response was instant and exemplary, she completely agreed, removed the plate and had the kitchen redo the dish from scratch and the result was perfection, totally delicious. The staff were extremely apologetic and gracious, hence 5 stars.

I love this restaurant. The staff are fantastic and the food is delicious and also very good value which is important these days. Highly recommended.

A delightful place where I had lunch with my son and his partner. They enjoyed vegetarian pizzas while I chose the seasonal vegetable risotto which was delicious. Portions were so generous that we didn't have room for dessert. Very good service and an enjoyable experience.

Went last night as a large group of 8, the service was fantastic throughout. Extremely efficient staff, attentive, friendly, helpful. Food was fantastic and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Will continue to recommend! Thank you again!

Couldn't fault our lunch today. Staff were attentive to our needs with a toddler and a baby in a pram. Service was quick and pizza was lovely! Lots of choice and my husband says the vegan cheese alternative, which he was allowed to swap onto his pizza, was tasty. A cute little Italian that I would definitley reccommend for lunch and come back to.

First time trying this lovely local Italian restaurant. Will be back again for sure! The quality of food was fantastic, good wine & puddings. The service was top notch - every one so friendly and attentive. It did get very busy, which made it very noisy & almost unbearably hot! More air con needed for our new hot summers. Other than that, all amazing and will be back again! Thanks all!

Food was as usual fabulous. Had the vegan bruschetta to start then tomato and spinach pasta. Very good food and wine. Only niggle was the restaurant was cold. Hopefully next time we will be seated in a warmer part of the restaurant.

I eat here today with my mother and her friend. Delightful restaurant. Very attentive service with kindness and understanding for my 86 year old mother. The food was beautiful, so tasty. The prices were very good. A fabulous meal and we will be back very soon Thank you so much

Had a great meal here on 27/1/24, our first visit but not our last. A very good traditional Italian restaurant and way ahead of the chain pizza/pasta places. It has a great rustic family-owned vibe with an open kitchen adding to the ambience. Tables are very tightly packed (the only reason I dropped a star) and it was full at 7pm. Two courses plus a round of drinks came in at under £30/head inclusive of the 10% service charge. Very happy.

Very very good. The food was excellent, every part of the meal was well flavoured and balanced, the wines were a great match. The staff were absolutely brilliant, always attentive, well informed and incredibly helpful. The waitress was very helpful with gluten free, checking with the chef and well informed. This is a must if you are in the area 13 - july-2024 Once again an amazing meal. The dishes are well presented, flavoursome and well portioned. Again attentive to gluten free, the staff came to inform me of potential cross contamination. The staff were again very helpful and attentive and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food on offer. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant and definitely still worth the trip.

I think that just by looking at the pictures you will understand how delicious it was. 10/10

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Petersfield. Lovely service, gorgeous food. I ate off the two course menu for £14.95. I had trout with lemon sauce and potatoes and a tiramisu. So delicious and brilliantly cooked. Lovely ambience. Totally recommend

Most consistently good restaurant in Petersfield. The quality has been the same for 10 years and counting. Can get very busy and hot in summer but that reflects its popularity. Set menu is always worth a punt.

Always good food, although the portions can be on the small side, service isn't the best and can be slow and inattentive at times. Wouldn't rate it as good as some others do. The management seem to have favourite customers who get the best service, others just seem to make up the numbers.

Can't fault it. Great service. Reasonably priced menu for such deeeeewlicious food. Ingredients on the antipasto sharing plate are absolute perfection.

First time here and what a gem. I love the feel and the look. Great service fantastic food done the Italian way. I had whitebait to start which was a great sized portion cooked to perfection. Linguine carbonara which was the best that I have ever had with garlic bread (made like a thin pizza) and their awesome zucchini. Pudding was ice cream covered in an espresso. Red wine from Puglia. Good fair prices. I will be back. Well done.

Superb place. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The selection makes choosing difficult. The kids meal was absolutely brilliant. Great value too, a really great walk in find.

Really pleased to find this, a small Italian with a brilliant value for money set menu (midweek, I don't know about weekends). We were impressed with the portion sizes and quality of authentic food. I had 2 courses for 13.50, was £15 for all 3. Set menu was only a small selection, but their full menu had plenty to offer.

Our was a group event. The entire restaurant was booked for an evening. It was outstanding. The staff are lovely and the food excellent. I had sea bream for my main course and it was divine.

Food was tasty and portions were good. Service was friendly.

Delicious!! Pasta and pizza is excellent. Highlight: Mushroom Risotto!!! We got the gnocchi truffle pasta which was to die for, and pizza which was totally delicious Recommend this highly, better than other pizza places in Petersfield, definitely worth a try. Lemon sorbet for dessert, refreshing and lovely

We had a lovely meal here for my dad's birthday. Our only complaint was that it was absolutely boiling in there, and the air conditioning wasn't on. Lovely food and service was good. Would return.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Flora for such fantastic service. She was so welcoming and attentive, and made our evening. The food was delicious, however we found the veal a a little over cooked so we mentioned this to our waitress who promptly offered a replacement dish. Apart from this, the pasta dishes were delicious and I would highly recommend them, especially the carbonara. Thank you again Flora ❤️

What a tempting and interesting menu! All beautifully cooked, and the service was very good. I would happily award 5 stars, my only issue was the door, which will not shut. We were a party of 8 and so were seated by the door and it was so windy, our candles kept blowing out! But sit away from the door and you will love an evening here!

Have always enjoyed our visits to La Piazzetta in the past & had an enjoyable visit this time. My one main concern with the current covid situation was that our meals were served by a lady not wearing a mask. It was confusing as the other waitresses were all in masks. I understand there are certain exemptions but surely if this is the case it might be best to let the masked waitresses serve the food. Purely for the reassurance to the customers. The pizzas were delicious but a friendly smile wouldn’t of gone a miss from the unmasked lady who presented our meals.

Food excellent, service attentive, prices realistic. Very pleasant place to eat. Only improvement I would like to see is more range of beers. Although the only beer they have is Peroni, so it could be a lot worse! I love peroni! Been here more than 10 times now, always good.

The food is cooked correctly but I asked for my pasta not to be spicy and unfortunately it was. When I called someone to tell them that they have chilies, they said...they don't have chilies. The chef didn't recognize that the sauce was spicy beforehand.I also had a Tiramisu which was good.

We've been here a couple of times, but not for a couple of years. It seemed to be more expensive than it used to be, although the food was good. Staff friendly. The "background" music was too obtrusive for me because we were placed under a speaker (no option to move on that evening).

Before our entire party had arrived we were asked if we had decided what we had wanted for our meal. The waitress then mistakenly took down our starters. One arrived extremely late with no apology, just panic over her face. I appreciate we’re all human and we all make mistakes, but taking responsibility as a waitress or restaurant is all part of the role. As for the food. Having raved about and thoroughly enjoyed all the food here prior to this review, I was gutted. The pizza was soggy and lacked any sort of flavour. The cheese fell off all the pizzas and I personally think the portobello mushroom starter was only the amazing thing we had. My favourite dish is usually pepperoni with extra chilli. I’ve been charged this evening for having extra nothing. I am so disappointed and will struggle to order from here again in the future.

Real shame, I loved this restarant and had wonderful food and service in the past. Today I had a lady be very rude to me over the phone. I tried to book a table for 7. She said they had tables at 5:30 or 9. I then rearranged my family visit and phoned back to book but was told the kitchen closes then. When I said that I had just made arrangements because she said 9, she said I must have been confused and then hung up on me! I know these are difficult times but that level of rudeness is unwarrented!

Absolutely appalling. Lasagne was lumps of left over dogs dinner. Tiramisu was watery and not a hint of any alcohol. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and it has deteriorated so much over the last couple of years. On two occasions a member of our party has had severe food poisoning following food eaten here. I will not be returning! When pointed out to staff that meal was not up to standard - nothing was done to compensate. Avoid at all costs.

Appalled… I usually love this place… However, yesterday, we were rushed to order, our mains came out while others were still eating their starters! One of us did not enjoy or eat their main course, the waiter offered no apology. He then went and sat in the corner on his phone. Turned the music off and made us feel very unwelcome. Really bad service! I left feeling very unhappy 🙁

Chose this restaurant for our Valentines meal. Nobody informed us that there would only be a very limited menu for that night. We chose something that we wouldn’t have bothered with usually to try and make the best of it. Sadly the food was very disappointing and was lacking in flavour or flair. As we looked around the restaurant we could see and hear that most of the other diners were as unhappy as we were.

Starters were an hour late. Provided a free bottle of wine that was worse than what we had paid for and the main course was still another 45 minute wait. They got one of the orders wrong but we were so starving, so we ate it anyway and they didn’t want to acknowledge the wrong order at all when mentioned. Great food, rubbish service.
