Wow- some of the best delicious food I have had delivered since I moved down to the valley almost 2 years ago!!! The sliced turkey was amazing and all the sides were incredible . Keep in mind that the meat and the beans have a pretty Smokey flavor so you will need to appreciate that. Order all of the condiments- delicious, and the bread and buns are very super fresh and soft. Cherry peppers are tasty as well as the other pickles and other items-all packaged in ziplock bags like totally feeling like a family packed them up for you!! Love it and will order again and again for sure!!

Everything was absolutely amazing! The vibes and energy were so amazing. They usually have regulars here and it’s so wonderful to see that their staff takes care of the customers so well. They have a “Small bites” menu (I might be wrong) but it’s a smaller portion menu which I think it’s wonderful if you don’t like eating too much! Otherwise this is a wonderful restaurant that has an invisible fish at the front counter ;) you gotta see it! I would recommend to other people to come eat hereeeee

Pretty much a great place for lunch. I had a pulled pork sandwich and tried the Rudy’s Standard Barbecue Sauce. From South Carolina and used to a little different flavor. I would eat here again. Good value for the dollar.

If you’re looking for fast bbq, this is your spot! The staff is super friendly and on top of everything! Pictured is moist brisket, which key word is moist, lean brisket (I personally am not a fan cause I just find lean brisket more on the drier side), half a bird that falls of the bone, link of regular sausage which is really tasty, and turkey which happens to be my favorite! It’s super moist and seasoned well! My kids enjoyed the brisket potato as well! Great atmosphere and good food!

Gotta love Rudy's !!!! Amazing food every single time!! Tried the new jalapeno cheese sausage and wow! Cant wait to order again.also tried the Brisket egg and cheese Breakfast tacos and thats my go to breakfast place now. This place is so consistent. Extremely sympathetic employees. I was about 6 mins past 10am and thought I missed the cut off for breakfast this morning and they still accepted my order.

Rudy’s is one of my favourite BBQ. Moist briskets were good but surprisingly the lean briskets were dry. Ribs very juicy.

This is not a daily grub place...this food here set us back 45 smaks... Not bad at all. Food is very well prepared...very tasty...place is wonderful..awesome layout..awesome ambience...awesome friendly staff.... This is a great place to bring family and friends on special occasions..or a weekend getaway.... I highly recommend this place at this address in McAllen... If its barbecue "to go" style this is the place....they have anything barbecue and dessert to olease yiur palate... i have been to more specialized "home made" mesquite/oak grilled barbecue...but that's out of the city... Come on by...this place does not disappoint!! 5 stars... Mike

The bbq is good and they give you samples of each meat for first timers. It's a bit too smokey for me. Service was great, friendly. Old folks may have a challenge hearing what they say, kinda noisy at the counter. Table was not cleaned well, sticky.

Excellent brisket and chicken, the double meat brisket and sausage is delicious your choice of meats. Loaded potatato with everything including your choice of meat on it is most Excellent! Be careful with the serving sizes they do vary at times. Have an amazing meal!

Consistently good BBQ. Brisket , pork ribs are my favorite. Service is friendly. Food is sold by the pound. Self service no frills kind of BBQ. Sure there are places that are better but you can't find them all over texas like you can Rudy's.

Food was ok and other staff were nice, but teach your cashiers to not scowl when we only leave a 10% tip after they were not friendly to begin with. She looked at her screen after I put it in and glared at me and walked away without saying a word. Sorry, I thought tips were optional, especially at counter service. Glad to know when I’m spending $30 on dinner for just myself that’s how thankful your business is.

We usually pick up to go twice a month , this last meat order was so dry!! I asked for moist brisket not Dry!! $35 just meat , which I dont mind paying But don't rip people off when your food is already super pricey!! You all lost good customers !!
