This place has great food. The staff are very friendly. Quiet and cozy little place to enjoy a reasonably priced meal. I also lost my wallet there. It wasn't until the next day that I realized where it was. It was there overnight. When I came back the next day to get my wallet, all of my cash and credit cards were still in it. Anyone could've easily taken the cash. So, I am very happy to say that the employees at Mountain Top Cafe and their patrons are honest and good people. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Good people, good food, good atmosphere. Thank you for getting my wallet back to me!

Small town feel, very cozy dinner! The food was excellent, fast and our waiter (part of the family) was a great guy. Recommended stop as you're cruising along hwy 138!

The food was delicious. The pastrami dip sandwich was amazing. The meat was flavorful. The bread was soft but yet crispy or toast. The chicken was tender, but crisp from the outside and it had a really nice season. The vegetables were a very good touch and the fries were very delicious. The Tortellini soup was homemade with big chunks of potatoes and other vegetables they were filled with cheese. I really like this dish! Overall, the service was great. The ambience was nice and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place!

Loved this place!! Food was amazing, hospitality was warm feeling. Christina was so sweet! Anytime you’re out this way and want a good home cooked meal, stop by and they will take care of you!!!

Love this place! We went camping nearby and got hungry on the way out...sooo glad we found this spot. Christina and Christian run this so well and the food is delicious!!

If you are looking for a cute café with delicious home cooked food, you've found it. It has a small town feel with very attentive and friendly staff. We ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and Opened Faced Hot Turkey Sandwich with cranberry. The Chicken Pesto sandwich had great flavor. Chicken was juicy and bread was toasted perfectly. The Opened Faced Hot Turkey was like Thanksgiving in a sandwich. What made the whole experience, was the kindness and warmth from the staff. She explained that they freshly cut and prepare all their meats in house. The ambiance is relaxing. Decorations for the season are on point. We will definitely be back.

We pass this place all the time, finally stopped by and I will confirm what someone else said. Best French Toast I have ever eaten!!! My wife usually gets that and I always try them and always disappointed but today, my gawd, the French Toast was so good!! I got the country fried steak and the was good but the french toast was amazing!! Loved the vibe in the restaurant, very homey and the ppl were fast, nice and amazing! Can't believe it took so long to try it out!

Meatball sandwich, philly sandwich, and pastrami sandwich were all excellent. The cafe was quaint and cozy. The servers were so friendly and prompt. We are looking forward to going back again!

1st time trying this place. Food was delicious. Large plates served. Service was quick and prompt. Lots of locals. Family owned, family atmosphere. Tried the chicken and waffles so good and the chilaquiles on point. Also had the egg, bacon, cheese breakfast sandwich with home potatoes yummy. I'll definitely come back.

Food was good. Husband had the Sante Fe omelet with biscuit and gravy. I had the French toast combo. Both meals were served hot and fresh with good flavor. The French toast is fried so it was a little crunchier than expected, but still really good.

Nice Restaurant and food was good, just felt the prices were a bit high for two burger meals and two iced teas. Otherwise, the experience was nice and welcoming. Our server was top notch, attentive and very friendly. She rates 5 stars.

Charming and rustic vibe. Which staff were very friendly and attentive. I would recommend changing your pancake batter to pretty much anything else. Pancakes were so dry. They were just fall apart when you try to stab them with your fork and had no flavor at all. The sausage and ham steak were great and the eggs were cooked perfect. I would try this place again, but I most definitely would not order the pancakes. Thank you to the Way staff. You made the visit enjoyable. also, I did notice when reviewing my receipt that I was charged more than the menu price for the pancake combo and the ham steak that I added. I appreciate you filling my thermos but I thought $12 was a little excessive. My fault I guess I should’ve asked first. My pancake breakfast breakfast with a thermos fill and an added piece of ham and a six dollar tip was $42.

Outside looks dated and rough. But once inside it's nice and looks like they go all out decorating for seasons or holidays. Server was super helpful and friendly. Food was what it should of been and was good. Good price and large portion. Want to go back for pastrami dip.

Arrived at 3:00. There was seating available however the tables were not cleared off or cleaned. There were many families present with too many very noisy kids. We asked our waitress if we could sit in a back room they had which she said was ok once they clear,/clean tables. I ordered fried chicken dinner which they were out of and no baked potatoes due to cook not having time to bake. The Waitress, Christina & Waiter, Christian were very nice but obvious they were over worked. The entire place was very dirty with dried food, dirt... The Men's restroom had poop on toilet n trash over flowing. Relayed to Christian who said he had no time to clean but will get to it. Again very obvious they don't have enough staff.

Super tiny space, not much room to walk between tables. Lots of crap laying around. Very cluttered. Food was bland and not great. Chicken fried steak was over cooked and had ZERO flavor. Mashed potatoes were sparsely put and again zero flavor. The food tastes like the food in a retirement home or hospital with ZERO salt and spices. Portions are very small for soup and sides. Not sure why it has any 5 stars unless fake. Its just not good. Its like eating nothing. Zero flavor in anything
