Everything is local and picked by Greg. Outstanding customer service. Walked out with coffee beans, and a wine bottle he recommended per the taste. Blonde and red ale taste delicious
The woman who attended us was super nice and helpful! I got some coffee and a cinnamon roll for my family and I and we sat inside to enjoy. It was such a cute and cozy atmosphere. Im definitely coming here again to try more things on the menu!
Food and drinks 10/10 I've tried many different things, and obviously you don't always like everything but what I do like is just amazing like lavender coffee 🤩 Service 10/10 It's a small grind so it's not the fastest thing, but it doesn't take an eternity either. Atmosphere 10/10 It's so gorgeous and so fun to be at! Everyone is so sweet, and it's always clean.
The prices were fair. The food was fresh and good. My coffee drink was YUM! The girl behind the counter was sweet. What more could you ask? The decor on the patio and interior need an overhaul and clean up but still a nice, relaxed place to take in the mountain air and relax. They also serve a selection of wines.
Super friendly services, chill ambience, and yummy coffee. Loved that I could ask the worker to recommend me something with an alternative milk and she gave a great recommendation of a drink that I ended up loving (a latte with oat milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg). They had live music during the day on Saturday when I was there. Can’t wait to come back!
I am enjoying the long days of summer, sitting on the deck outside The Village Grind with my dog, enjoying the drum circle, and a lemonade that has been made especially the way I like it – – not sweet. I love this Cafe.
Fantastic coffee shop. Live entertainment. The service could not have been faster or more friendly. I had a simple cup of brew coffee with nonfat milk. Outstanding coffee. I'm glad I made the stop and only wish I had been a little bit more hungry. The pastries looked amazing.
First time visiting. Love the coffee and atmosphere ,had a great game of chess. Service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.
This places is awesome. Food selection is great. We stopped here in the morning before snowboarding. The breakfast quesadilla was loaded, bacon & potatoes, so good. & they have lots of veggie options. Nice local recommendations, cool girls working here.
I really like this spot! We always sit outside cuz we have our dog with us but the deck is very cozy and offers a great view. The folks there are really nice and even brought out a dog treat for our pup while we ate.
The place is friendly and cozy. The breakfast was good, i like the espresso, the spinach item, mini donuts, cheese quesadilla. They have a wide wine selection. The pinot grigo taste good.
I like the Grind. I don't visit ofter enough to be considered a Local but maybe a familiar face now and then. The coffee and latte's are very good. The breakfast fresh, tasty and quick. The staff has always been pleasant, patient and friendly. Highly recommended. Enjoy. I always do.
Had a flat white with oat milk, and it was the best of my life. Absolutely amazing coffee and the shop has a great vibe with very kind staff. Highly recommend
I stop here ever time I’m in town. Great coffee, friendly staff, great views on the patio. It’s the perfect place for people watching. It sits on the main street. At night they have their own beer. Though I’ve never stayed that late. Ever body stop in here.
Fabulous lil cafe, their cinnamon rolls are too die for- I also had a veggie wrap that was amazing, wine tasting and beer flights were fantastic and a great experience with the staff, very friendly and informative. They use only local CA breweries and wineries in their tastings which I also loved... Will definitely go back!
I love this place so much! First came here yesterday and I just had to come back today! The atmosphere is so great in the hot chocolate is one of the best I've ever had. Totally my new favorite Cafe. 🥰
This place is sweet as! Super good service and nice all around ambiance, "vibe" as the kids would say. There is a sweet study nook tucked in the back. Wait, maybe I shouldn't tell the whole world so it is available when I go. Damn it!
Such good food and coffee! The breakfast sandwich was freshly made and twice as big as you find in most coffee shops. Well worth the cost. They are also very dog-friendly, and they were super sweet with my golden puppy.
Cozy coffee spot with great ambiance. Feels like a warm cabin. The service was efficient and friendly. They were out of the Mexican Latte unfortunately. Instead I ordered the white mocha + lavender latte which was smooth. White mocha + lavender latte: 4/5
Super pleased with this tucked away find. Great atmosphere and looks like you’re visiting someone’s cabin. Fantastic hot beverages (we had hot cocoa and lattes). We will have to come back for wine!
I recently rolled through the small town of Wrightwood and was turned onto Village Grind. All I had was a mocha late that was delicious, but there were many more options for coffee, food, and wine. Village Grind also has wine tasting for those interested. I spoke with Greg, the owner, who was very helpful in providing other places to eat and things to do while in Wrightwood. If you find yourself in Wrightwood, check out Village Grind. Enjoy.
Cozy and chill little spot. Yummy treats for the whole family. We did wine tasting, and hubby absolutely loved it. The kids enjoyed their smoothie and milk chocolate. We can't wait to come back.
Whenever I am up in the area, I absolutely love coming here and getting a cup of coffee. This place is simply awesome. They have coffee, beer, wine and other drinks (and food too!) Oh, and did I mention that their internet speed is super fast! That is an added bonus to the quality of their coffee and frieny staff. So when you are visiting wrightwood and you want a great cup of coffee, come here.
This is a great spot for some hot coffee and wine tasting. love the place. i did wait a while for my danish and apple turnover but coffee was great very friendly environment. check it out you'll love it.
Friendly staff, good food and good drinks. Came here on a very hot day. Enjoyed our times here. There was an older gentleman played guitar in the order which made it very enjoyable.
Got a $6 breakfast burrito and a coffee for around $3. Delicious. Definitely gave me the much needed energy for Mt. Baden-Powell
Delish Mocha w Organic Soy. Yummy homemade pastries w/ occasional vegan choices. Wonderful and friendly staff. Xo

Loved this place We got coffee and wine to go! The service was amazing and the staff super friendly! We felt safe here as well…so will definitely be coming back again!
Came in on a whim and left with one of the best bottles of wine we’ve ever had after a really great experience with Greg. He was very friendly and knowledgeable - gave us a few free tastings and we had a great time talking to him. The coffee is pretty good too. Definitely recommend a stop in if you’re out of town and if you’re a local I’m sure you already know that.
Went there on a Friday night to listen to a friend sing. The hosts were wonderful to us the whole time. We bought a bottle of wine to enjoy during the performance and found out that they have an extensive wine collection as well as great coffee. We will definitely come back someday to enjoy this truly wonderful place.
Amazing atmosphere, with delicious, locally roasted coffee. They offer a well rounded and simple food menu, and it always comes out delicious. Baristas are consistently kind and helpful. Always enjoy spending my time and money here!

Good food and drinks, but they gave me tap water
Everyone I've interacted with who works here has been kind, friendly, and efficient. The coffee here is decent, and this place is cozy and feels safe and welcoming as an LGBTQ+ person.
Bought a bottle of champagne flavored with a hint of orange and a breakfast quesadilla for two. Enjoyed on their upper of three levels deck with our two dogs...very dog friendly...at least four other dogs there as well...very nice morning... Constructive feedback; control the flies. Provide more dog water bowls and keep them fresh...these issues are minor.
Nice little coffee spot in Wrigthwood. Outdoor seating, indoor seating and a small food menu. There's also a small tap list for local breweries and they sell a ton of local wines. Very inclusive atmosphere and hard working staff.
08-17-24 Big car show going on in Wrightwood today. All eateries were very crowded. We happened into the Village grind just at the right time. Normally a coffee/smoothie type place, they do have a limited sandwich menu which is just what we needed. 4 of us in our party today. They service was up to speed to meet our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I do don't hesitate to recommend Village Grind for your coffee drink needs...and if you need a sandwich too! Almost forgot, if I recall correctly they have an extensive wine selection available.
I need to go back to try more! This place is obviously meant for the wine drinker - they have a huge selection! Or for a place to drink coffee. My family does neither but still like it here! Very friendly and helpful staff! Their pastries are very yummy! The apple fritter was nice and warm. I will come back for the spinach and cheese. And I loved the chocolate chip pastry! My kids and I keep coming back for the Strawberry and Banana Smoothie - it's expensive though for one cup ($7), so I ask the employees to split 2 drinks into 4 cups for my toddlers. Probably for the best anyone for little kids - the full cup (16oz) would be too big for them to finish anyway. If they ever have more smoothie options though... NOTHING is going to stop us from trying all of them! Smoothies are a great way for the kids to get full from something delicious and refreshed from something cold, without it being something that can ruin their lunch (like ice cream). P.s. word to the wise about the bathroom: there is only 1 bathroom stall; and you have to ask for the key to use it.

My girlfriend and I love the nature and when it comes to coffee in the middle of the mountain , well then anyone can guess the answer, we came for breakfast from LA. Food took quite some time ,lack of flavor but every cook has their own touch, I guess this is the way here, coffee was very sweet, this place is mostly a wine spot , workers are very friendly no doubt about it, and the view is amazing
I love that this place embraces all people. Service is good. But, what’s up with the espresso? I’ve been here twice in two weeks and asked for no flavor of any kind in my drink. Both times it tasted like hazelnut. Do you use flavored beans? I really want to make this place a regular go to, but I don’t like flavored beans or flavored espresso/coffee. Both times I threw away my $8.50 blended espresso. Yuk.

Coffee is great as well as the outside deck. But everytime I've gone the ladies are in a terrible mood, my entire family has noticed it so I stopped bringing the family or friends here. It's worth it as a quick stop but don't ask the ladies at the counter anything, cause whew they will give you some terrible looks and attitudes. Even when I've mentioned things like the creamer is out up front they seem to get upset.
Their food is basic and horrible! Their tri tip sandwich hardly had any meat on it. It was dry, no BBQ sauce, mayo, au juice, lettuce, tomato, NOTHING. I had Their grilled cheese, tomato and bacon sandwich. It also was dry and mabe one slice of bacon. How they get 4.7 stars is beyond me. Worst food I've ever had at a restaurant.🤢🤮
I didn’t think I would have to write a bad review about this place, since it was always one of my favorites in town, but here goes. This morning, at around 7:30 am, my 19 month old and I went to the village grind to grab some sandwiches for breakfast to spend some time together before I head to work. Order is taken by a blond lady, forgot her name, she was kind, and we patiently waited for our order. Here comes an brunette employee, with her two kids, who I assume was starting her shift, but ended up grabbing the bacon, for my order, to feed her kids so they can hurry up and go to school. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order and was almost late to work because she had to feed her kids my food that I PAID FOR. Felt like she intentionally knew it was for someone and thought about her kids first since they were LATE, and didn’t care about the customer. Horrible.
The drinks here are not good. The service here is slow. Some of the workers are rude. A lot of weird 🏳️🌈 stuff going on here at this coffee shop. The breakfast sandwich here is decent
The Barista literally didn't say one word except okay. I don't understand when being rude became cool. Didn't even take my order, I just had to assume she was ready and started talking. The coffee wasn't particularly good either. Spend your money someplace where people actually care about their customers.
Coffee was ok. Cool coffee shop until you look up and see a “I support planned parenthood” shirt. Some reviews I’ve read say they like how they embrace all people. What coffee shop doesn’t embrace everyone?
