Really cute Thai food place. It’s not a crazy big menu. But it’s good. I got the padwoseen which was great. It was so good o didn’t even add soy sauce to it. Which I usually do. The restaurant is super cute aesthetically as well and service is good. Go check it out.
This restaurant was amazing. Super friendly with great food. Low key ambiance. The summer spring rolls were excellent so was the roasted Rohan duck. The curries are absolutely incredible, tasty and mildly spicy. On the pricier side but it’s worth it
Birthday dinner and my daughter wanted authentic. Every part of the experience was better than expected. Staff and owners were very nice. We had so much leftovers! We went with traditional Pad Thai. I had the duck.
Flavor bomb people...look out! The pineapple, chicken curry was sooooo delicious. We also ordered the massaman both spicy!!! Definitely would recommend this place.
This restaurant is awesome! From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a friendly, welcoming staff. The size of the dining area is comfortable, not cramped as some of the other places in the area. The seating is comfortable, and the decor is very nice. Food- AMAZING!!!! The food prepared here is pretty authentic Thai! I ordered one of my fave dishes which is Pad See Ew with a medium spice. Oh my gosh, my mouth was on fuego! However, I enjoyed every bite since I love spicy food. If you’re not into spice I recommend none to a little less than mild! Seriously, their spicy is no joke! The portions are a good size, especially for the price which is not high at all. Another nice thing is that they don’t charge for refills. Their lunch special menu has a fantastic selection and comes with a soup and spring roll. Overall I give this place five stars and two thumbs up! I will definitely be returning.
This is my favorite Thai place in Philly. Reasons why I am giving the place 5 stars: - service is excellent. I have been a customer for the past 2 years and there has been not time I was disappointed by their service. The manager makes sure you enjoy your visit and meal. - Food is delicious. Thai is one of my favorite foods. Circles offers a variety of options you can choose from. Curry pineapple with chicken is always a must for me. But everything I have tried has been very good.
Ambience of this restaurant is amazing. The Coconut Soup was yummy, Veggie Dumplings looked great but were not as great as they appeared. Basil Fried Rice with spice level 4 was yummy and spicy. Khow Suey was great too!!
Original plan was to try Baan Thai but they were closed for some reason so we came to circle Thai. Did not disappoint! Spice level so amazingly hot, lived up to the “hot” name. Appetizer crab and pork dumpling was so plump and good, summer roll was ok. Pad see ew and pad kee mow both so on point, seafood is really good and the vegetables r crunchy. Thai tea 8/10. Server lady was really nice too. Atmosphere 10/10
Super excellent! Big portions! Yummmmyyyy. We ordered pumpkin curry, pad se ew and mango sticky rice. I would definitely order and or all of them again.
We lived a few minutes from Circles and it was our go-to destination for Thai food. The owner was friendly and the staff was attentive. The food was always quality. But neither our move nor the pandemic has stopped us from getting take out from Circles!
Everything we had was amazing! The service was attentive and fast. The flavors and portions were great.
Definitely recommend! Best food with best price.Massmancurry with Roti and Red curry duck are shown below.
The thai spring roll is good and crispy well made but nothing special. The tofu corn fritter is cheessy with a bit of sweetness from makes it a delightful treat. The Roasted Rohan duck curry has good portion of duck with aromaic curry. Khao mok Gai not as good but definetly a good try as well.
- Best Thai cuisine in Philadelphia - very caring employees - delicious foods - spicy level infinite if you like it😂 and - outstanding service
What a nice little gem in Philly. The food was great but the service was outstanding. We had appetizers and great main dishes. The young girl that waited on us was very friendly and was happy to explain the menu. Highly recomend!
Street parking is available and parking was easy to find around the area. I highly recommend trying the pad Thai and mango coconut sticky rice – they're incredibly tasty!
omg everything was delicious I have no complaints about this place, I enjoy every minute in this nice place and I leave super happy,
Circles will always be my favorite Thai restaurant. I can’t find any other Thai restaurants around the area that even comes close to their pad thai. The peanutty noodles, crab rangoons, & tofu corn fritters are also amazing. 10/10.
The food was soooooo good.
The food here is to die for. They have a very nice selection. The calamari is made perfect. Not rubbery at all. Just how it should be. The peanut satay chicken is one of my all time favorites. The ramen soup was amazing as well. My favorite thing was the Thai iced tea. It was so good I went home and googled how to make my own. They put little roses on top of your straws from the straw paper it's so cute. I added a photo of one.
Great Thai food and quick dine-in service. Don’t sleep on the cheesesteak egg rolls!
TLDR : YES YES YES ! Called to the place for delivery (cause i hate uber eats) ordered 2 appetizers, thai beef salad curry with rice and dessert! All came down to 62$ with delivery fees which i think is quite good! Fast delivery amazing food , my husband got the ‘thai spicy level’ so he got a little ‘good luck’ note on his meal ! They have many vegetarian options and interesting curry options like pineapple curry which id like to try! - got the masaman curry with tufu that was WOW , my husband LOVED the extremely spicy thai beef salad , curry puffs and tufu appetizers were yummy and you could never go wrong with mango sticky rice ! If delivery store shortly in the fridge for few minutes before eating for maximum fun!
Circle has been my favorite Thai place in Philly 🧡 I’ve probably tried this place over 20 times by now, and it’s still my go-to place to get some nice food after a tough week. I’ve had dine-in, pickup, and delivery and all experience are great, and walk-ins is always welcome (one of the reasons I like this place). Also the service is top notch 👏 Some of my favorite menus are: - Tom Yum with seafood mix - Som Tum (papaya salad) - Shrimp Summer Roll - Pad Kee Mao - Garlic Basil Fried Rice - (and of course) Thai tea
The customer service was outstanding. The food was amazing. Overall, my experience was great. This was me my first time and the staff. There was very helpful with the menu. They explained everything to me in detail even help me pick a suggested dish. We ordered two appetizers two entrées they both were phenomenal hands-down circles as a 10 out of 10 restaurant. I highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!
My partner and I were out walking and enjoying the weather but realized we needed a late lunch. I hadn't been to this place in ages and wondered how it had held up. I am so sorry to have missed coming here more regularly! It was absolutely wonderful. Service was perfect and friendly. The Green Curry was incredible and the middle level spice was REAL not watered down. Just perfect. The vegetable stir fry was delicious too. The spring rolls to start with were perfect. Everything was so good we will have to return regularly for now on.
The best part of my bus home being delayed two and a half hours was eating here. The staff was really friendly, and they took extra care to make sure that I was able to leave in time to make the bus when it did come. It was a great place to spend a cold December night with some of the spiciest food I've ever had. (When they ask if you want it "Thai spicy," they mean business in the best way!) Will definitely be trying to visit again next time I'm in Philly.
Good size portion. Good flavor. When ordering via Uber Eats you cant really customize your meal but it turned out ok. Would eat here again. Good value.
Circles Thai has been my go-to delivery and takeout restaurant for many years and consistently delivers quality food and good quantity. Last week I placed a large order the night of the Eagles Super Bowl parade and ended up not having the meal delivered for several hours, likely due to the crazy day and changes to SEPTA service. Despite this inconvenience, the restaurant persisted to deliver my full order, and refunded me 100% of my order amount without me requesting that refund. I did not expect this level of service, and will remain a loyal customer for tasty Thai food.
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Came here at 9pm on a Saturday, and it was delicious and was steaming. Amazing food. Will go again on my text trip to Philly.
Circles has been my go-to Thai for years, but have only ordered delivery. It is consistently good! Today was our first time dining in and it was also a wonderful experience! Same good food and very attentive and kind staff! Will absolutely return to dine-in soon. Highly recommend!
The food here is excellent! We had the pad thai and the curry rice bowl. Flavor is perfect and the heat of each dish was nice. The portions are pretty big, however I felt the pad thai was lacking in chicken. Especially for $20+ a dish, I'd expect a little more protein. Either way, this BYOB place is amazing and I definitely recommend!
Update: I bumped it down a star because I tried to order the same exact thing again as takeout and they couldn’t accommodate me (I asked for tofu that wasn’t fried). So, seems inconsistent. — This will become your go-to Thai restaurant. Food is fresh and delicious. Portions are large, and price is reasonable. They have lots of vegan and gluten free options. It’s a BYOB but they have some Thai iced teas and coffees. They are very accommodating, overall it was a great experience! Highly recommend.
This is one of our go-to places for Thai food. It is nicer than most other Thai restaurants. It's a bit pricier too but the portions are decent.
I placed an order through Uber Eats and was pleased to see some nice offers, which made the meal even more affordable. I decided to try the Pad See Ew with beef, and I have to say, the portion size was huge! It was really satisfying, and I couldn’t even finish it. The dish itself was tasty, with flavorful beef and perfectly cooked noodles. I also ordered sticky rice with mango, which I thought was pretty good, especially since I'm new to Thai food. However, there was a white sauce in the middle of the rice that kind of turned me off. It wasn’t to my taste, so I ended up not finishing it. One downside was that I had it delivered to my hotel, and I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t include utensils in my order. It kind of defeated the purpose of delivery, as I had to go out and search for utensils. Despite that, the food itself was solid, and I'd probably give them another try, especially with the good offers on Uber Eats.
Circles Thai offers very good customer service in a very clean and relaxing atmosphere. The food is very fresh, flavorful and hot. It is one of the better Thai restaurants that I have eaten at and offers a wide variety of food options. I recommend giving them a try.
The service and atmosphere was amazing. Our server was funny and knowledgeable. The food was not as expected but I'm guessing my palate is a bit different. The general Thai chicken was delicious and I'll recommend it to anyone.
Thai food taken to another level ! Circles provided mouthwatering , and ambrosial food that is a must have . It has a wide variety of options , and all the food has nice heat and spice . It was presented well , and a plethora of condiments accompanied the food. Furthermore , the ambience was exceptional , the place was decorated with lots of statues and accessories . However , the lights were a bit too dim , and made it hard to see . The servers , and the people working at the restaurant were amiable , and pleasant . Overall , this place is amazing and worth going to !
Delicious Red Duck Curry. The skin is crispy and crunchy. Curry could be a little creamier and sweeter but it was still yummy. Would come back and sit in the restaurant next time (instead of getting take out).
Found this location on UberEats, ordered the Crab Fried rice & Calamari. The calamari was eh, I’ve had better and it was cold. Now the crab fried rice is soooo freaking good. Plenty of jumbo lump crab meat all throughout the rice and the seasonings make it delicious. My only caveat, I’m not a big fan of frozen vegetables and you can clearly tell they use frozen carrots & peas.
Friendly and super attentive staff! The food was great. I do think $13 for curry is a little high. If getting the vegetable version of the pumpkin curry, it’s just bell peppers and a couple pieces of Thai basil. I do think more vegetables could be added to improve the dish.
I order from Circles Thai 1-2 times a week because the food is just that good. A curry dish or a stir-fry is always a solid choice, but the papaya salad is a must! Delivery is quick, and everything arrives fresh and delicious. A go-to spot for Thai in Northern Liberties.
My time at this restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed the well-made food and the ambiance of the place. This was my first time coming to a restaurant that allowed you to bring your alcohol to the place, and I loved it. Additional Note: For spice enthusiasts, this restaurant offers unique flexibility. You can adjust the spice level of your dish on a scale of 1 to 5, allowing you to truly customize your dining experience. I recommend getting it at levels 4 or 5 for those who like spicy food. I asked for a level of 3 for spice, and the food tasted mild.
The entrees were really good. My massaman curry was to die for and my partner's Salmon pad Thai was a hit, but we were not super happy with our appetizers. The crab rangoon was over priced and bland. The spring roll itself was good but the sauce wasn't the best. The service was great and the atmosphere was beautiful, but the appetizers kind of spoiled the meal for me. Avoid appetizers, just get entrees. Overall a good place.
The panang curry was good, the curry was very thin, almost like a soup. Pad see ew was good. The coconut milk soup had good flavor, not sure I’d get it again though. I did not like the cheesesteak spring roll or mango sticky rice. The peanut sauce is okay.
The lady at the cashier was rude and messed up my order. The place was pretty nice though and the food was still decent. The staff could be nicer 😁
Fine option for Thai takeout. Pad thai was better than most in terms of portion size. Not terribly flavorful but pretty well done and with a ton of crab. Pad see ew I preferred as I always will. This also was just okay in the flavor profile.
We’ve always had a positive experience dining in. However, this time when I placed my usual order on the phone they charged me $3 for NO PROTEIN. Pad Kee Mow is $14 on the menu but they upcharged me when I just wanted veggies. I even tried to explain when I went to pick up. The guy said veggies is extra $3.. ridiculous
This was one of my favorite places for the last few years but it has really decreased in quality and the service has taken a downhill turn. I ate there in person and the food took a long time, shortly after I was served they started vacuuming the floor and then told me I had to leave because they were closed. It wasn’t close to their closing time. I had only about 5 minutes to eat before I was rushed out the door. They made me feel so uncomfortable I didn’t want to come back. I had a few good experiences ordering out after that because I wanted to give it another shot. Tonight I ordered out and waited 45 minutes for a Grubhub order. I then received a text saying they had to cancel my order due to a lack of delivery drivers and that they had known that Grubhub wouldn’t be providing drivers all day. They told me I had to call Grubhub to get a refund and Grubhub told me to call the restaurant! I was so mad I waited 45 minutes for them to cancel when they already knew. I’m so bummed this used to be my favorite spot.
tried ordering on grubhub. I received a text that it would take 2 hours longer than expected. I called the restaurant to ask them to cancel. The woman who picked up called me rude and told me "you didn't even check with us first?" She continued to be very rude even though the food was delayed, and then she refused to cancel my order. I typically order from here a couple times a month, but I will never be ordering from this establishment again.
Worst delivery service I have ever experienced, the food was genuinely hours late. I understand that the weather is bad but if you can't handle deliveries then either don't offer deliveries or outsource them. Even called at one point and they said it would be there in 20 minutes after which it took another hour to arrive. Food was good but never order delivery from this place, especially on your birthday.
