An absolute treat! The menu is fully vegan. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. There is a nook in the rear of the venue for additional seating. I found it to be a hip place with kind service and great food. I had a hard time deciding on what to order! Everything looked great. Will definitely go again.

This is such a nice cozy little restaurant with really good atmosphere and food. I ordered online for pick up and was greeted by a friendly employee at the counter. I ended up ordering the Organic Roasted Sweet Potato & Quinoa Kale Salad which was really delicious! They weren't kidding when they noted that it could feed 2 people. I ended up saving the 2nd half of it for dinner tonight. The ingredients all seemed to be fresh and of good quality. The flavors blended together really well to make a delicious meal. 100% worth the money!

P.S. & Co. is the closest thing Philly has to a whole foods/plant-based restaurant, and it's pretty great! Their menu is entirely organic and gluten free. They also describe themselves as "plant-rich," a term new to me but that seems to mean food that glorifies the plant rather than focusing on fake meats or other highly processed foods. As someone who tries to follow the whole foods/plant-based diet, my only real criticism of the menu is the heavy reliance on vegan butter and other forms of coconut oil and coconut cream in the desserts and breakfast items. That being said, they do have some baked goods that contain only extra virgin olive oil, such as the black bean brownie and the banana bread. The brownie was fudgey and delicious; I wouldn't have suspected that it contained beans nor that it was gluten free. The iconic banana bread was also outstanding. I wish they would add an olive oil-based scone! Their social media focuses primarily on their bakery/pastry items, but the restaurant menu is not to be overlooked. I loved the amaranth pudding. $18 sounds like a lot for a bowl of porridge, but it ultimately felt worth it for such high-quality and clean ingredients, the fantastic taste, and the lovely presentation. The sides of tofu scramble and stewed chickpeas were also delicious and hearty and rounded out my brunch. Next time, I definitely want to delve more into the savory items, many of which are inspired by the owner Andrea's Burmese heritage. I had such a great experience at P.S. & Co. that I cannot believe I waited so long to try it. I think I may have mistakenly thought it was primarily a juice/smoothie bar or cake shop rather than recognizing it as the adorable, fully organic, health-conscious restaurant that it is. Truly a gem!

Five stars because the food was delicious and it’s nice for once to go into a restaurant and not have to worry about what to eat. Cute atmosphere, not too loud. I saw a number of items in the grab and go case that in addition to being gluten free, had no xanthan gum or other additives, which can be problematic for some of us. I ordered the French toast. The owner noted the GF bread they use for the French toast had a drop of xanthan gum in it but so far it hasn’t bothered me. We thought they would have sandwiches too but they only had the weekend brunch items - waffles, pancakes, and French toast. They also had a a bagel with tofu scramble and fake bacon. I don’t like bacon so I got the French toast. I did ask if I could have a side of the tofu scramble for some protein but they said no - each dish is comprised of certain things and can’t be mixed or ordered a la carte. Note the French toast came with applesauce on top. I normally wouldn’t order that (I must have missed it on the menu), but I kept an open mind and it was fabulous. The matcha was delicious and not pre-sweetened, yeah! They served it with coconut milk and the coconut flavor really came through. The person with me got a mango smoothie and loved it. The sweets and cakes looked fabulous but we didn’t try them. Will be back next time I’m in Philly. Thank you for providing a healthy safe option in the vast sea of the American (terrible) diet.

After coming here last time we were in Philadelphia I was surprised to see some negative reviews as we had always had great meals here. No it's not inexpensive but we every meal we've had here was well worth it. And let me tell you about the mushroom soup, it was a special but man oh man oh man, this is the best mushroom soup I have ever had, I also had some bread with it on another occasion and the bread, my goodness was it delicious. And on top of that we've had absolutely wonderful service, sweet and attentive. We also had the meatball sandwich, and the rice bowl, both were large and filling and good. But dang that mushroom soup… it almost made me forget about the incredible desserts!

We are ecstatic with our wedding cake from PS&Co - thank you for making our dreams come to life! From the very beginning, their communication was prompt, professional, and incredibly warm. Every question we had was answered quickly, and they made the entire process feel effortless. We had a tasting cupcake box to choose the flavors and then sent inspiration examples of our designs to the team - then they sent us a sketch with all of the details. The cake itself was truly a masterpiece—both visually stunning and absolutely delicious. It’s rare to find a bakery that excels with artistry and flavor, especially with dietary restrictions like gluten-free and vegan, but PS&Co exceeded all of our expectations. The cake looked exactly like what we envisioned. Our guests were very impressed by the taste and the flavors were delicious. The level of craftsmanship that went into the design was breathtaking—it was everything we envisioned and more. We’re so grateful to have had such a talented team be part of our special day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cake that’s as beautiful as it is delicious, and can accommodate a variety of dietary needs.

I visited PS&Co recently on a trip to Philadelphia and it will be one of those places I always visit when in the area and recommend to all my friends. First - the atmosphere! The environment was clean and spotless. Lots of light and it was bright and welcoming. I was greeted kindly upon arrival and couldn’t keep my eyes off of the stunning sweets in the case. I ordered a salad and the meatball sub as well as a maple coffee and all I can say is I cannot belieeeve this all vegan. I felt spoiled. My salad was so incredible and I bought smoked tempeh bacon as a side. The portions were huge. I made it through half of my salad barely and had to take everything to go. If you were on the fence as some vegan places can be disappointing- don’t miss this one. Incredible!!!

5+ STARS: When you go to P.S. and Co you aren’t just walking into a restaurant, you’re walking into a home. You instantly feel welcomed by the rustic brick walls and the liveliness of the plant decor. All of the staff is kind and respectful and makes sure you’re acknowledged once you enter. Not to mention the mouth-watering desserts you’ll see in the case all handmade by the amazing pastry chefs. They are next to none…from the classic tahini chocolate chip cookie, the fresh key lime tart, cinnamon roll, banana bread or decadent sweet cupcakes…(to name a few of my favs!) every single thing is amazing!! You won’t regret anything, I promise you that. Even take a treat to go! ;) *** their new ice cream sundaes and Caramel Delight cookies are INSANE (taste just like the Girl Scout cookies…but even better)! The amaranth bowl or the grilled cheese (on special, not on the regular menu) are so hearty as well. My usual go-to’s if I’m not changing it up that day. You know that what you’re eating when you visit is not only feeding your body, but your mind as well. The ingredients are all clean, organic, plant-rich, gluten-free and vegan — you can leave knowing you’re fueling yourself and treating yourself all in one — because we all deserve to FEEL good when we eat. I personally am gluten and dairy intolerant, so knowing I can order every single thing on the menu truly makes me the happiest. I frequent P.S. almost every weekend after my group run with my team, Achilles - I have brought so many people over the past 1.5 years and every single person has been more impressed than the last. They all know I need “my fix” when I’m in the city. They all say this is my Disney World. Andrea, the owner, is the sweetest soul. So accommodating to all — truly wanting to serve others in a way that is meaningful to her. She makes sure you always feel like you have a seat at the table, with the brightest smile on her face. And Meghan, one of the wait staff who I adore, always makes sure we are taken care of. She is attentive, kind, and answers any questions we may have if I bring a new friend. I look forward to seeing her whenever I’m in! All of this to say - if you want great food, a calm atmosphere, and an experience that is truly different, come here! …my only regret — not knowing about it sooner!

OMG. ALL GLUTEN FREE. Amazing experience. I had the avocado toast. The bread was the best bread I have ever eaten. The smoothie was so good. I have never had Brazil nut milk and now I want it all the time. The key lime tart was delicious. I HIGHLY recommend!!!!

Service was friendly and I really enjoyed my food. The little French bread pizza had crispy dehydrated mushrooms that reminded me of bacon. The housemaid cheese is really tasty. Nachos were good texture and size I loved all the toppings especially with the tofu scramble added.

I had a delicious passion fruit tart and cup of tea while I was in Philly for work. As a vegan, it's hard to find fancy dessert, and this is even on the healthy side of indulgent. Lovely space, even lovelier service.

Another placed I've found since being in Philly and everything i had so far has been delicious. I am hooked on the quinoa kale salad. All the flavors just goes perfectly together. The amaranth porridge is warm and sweet which is another fav of mine. Tried the pesto grilled cheese for the 1st time and I was not disappointed. I had a passionfruit raspberry parfait as well and the raspberry jam was a bit overwhelming but overall still good. Everything is vegan and gluten free which makes it another reason everyone should come and try. If you're in the area, it's highly recommended to come and try them out.

One of my favorite brunch spots on Philly. The Amaranth Porridge is my brunch favorite. Fantastic service, quaint lovely atmosphere and top notch food.

N

Pricey but worth it. This all gf spot did not disappoint. Got the passionfruit tart and the Forbidden Bowl - everything was so flavorful and the textures were on point. I will definitely be back to try all their baked goods, especially the banana bread and cupcakes. It’s so hard to find a place that serves praise-worthy gluten free items.

S

My mother and I dined in for Sunday brunch, and we were delighted by the vegan, gluten free offerings. We both opted for smoothie bowls - she chose the acai bowl and I had the protein acai dragonfruit bowl. While they were a bit runny for our liking (we prefer thick consistencies), the baked goods were beyond impressive. We literally inhaled the banana bread and the epic weekend-only cinnamon roll and cannot stop talking about when we'll return for them.

C

Absolutely blown away by the food here. I was able to get french toast for the first time in YEARS since it's usually made with a bunch of things I'm allergic too. They are especially sensitive to other needs or allergies as well. This restaurant literally makes me want to move to Philly. I will be coming back for more food while I'm here. The only negative I have is that it's not wheelchair accessible at all. There are steps to the front door with no alternative.

I love this place I wish them much success to be able to expand because the seating is extremely close but it was clean, the food was delicious. From the door you can tell they care and were extremely patient and friendly. I went with my 3 yr old but I seen a lot of couples on dates. The imperial rolls were definitely a good pick. I was in debate for a while. The tacos were so hearty I couldn't even finish plus we order fries and the doctor, a new inspired brew. You have to pay for bagging and to go trays but it always goes to donations. They made sure to note you can bring your own. Overall we definitely return with friends or solo date

I went just as they opened, and they were nice about letting me in right at the opening time. I picked two juices out of the refrigerator and a Protein Packed Almond Butter Blueberry Muffin. The muffin was really good. The total came to $34 and the juice bottles were $12 each.

This place is awesome. 100% vegan. I was excited about all the vegan sweat treats it offered! They have these cake balls that are DELICIOUS! I also had the brownie. So so good! The staff & service were great. Great food & great people made for a great meal. They also have a freezer/refrigerator with frozen meal to go. If you’re ever in the area, you need to stop in and try their great dishes & the treats.

This place is truly fantastic. They have everything. Amazing meals, baked goods and a fun coffee bar. I came for brunch and ordered their tumeric soup and waffle sandwich. Both were so flavorful and unique! Everything is vegan and very reasonably priced. Staff are great and so friendly and welcoming. Beautiful place, highly recommended.

If I could give 100 stars I would.. the food was out of this world. The bagels were so fresh and amazing, the green g3 juice so refreshing. The avocado toast was delicious and the soup was the same, the staff was so friendly. Super cute space plants all over; I’ll be back tomorrow for more bagels to take home to Delaware. Thank you

This place is proof positive that vegan does not mean boring or tasteless. This was the perfect way to start a day. I had the amaranth porridge with granola, maple syrup and apples with a pour over coffee and seed nut bread. Very filling and amazing flavor. Definitely give this place a chance, even if you have to walk a few minutes to get there. Perfect day starter for me... great service as well.

Loved this spot! I was so happy to find a place to eat where EVERYTHING was gluten free and vegan. They are not allergy-friendly because lots of dishes had allergens such as nuts and sesame, but what I had was delicious. They no longer have avocado toast which is what brought me to the restaurant, but I stayed and enjoyed an acai bowl with berries and even took some treats back to the hotel. The banana bread was superb!

I had the hearty waffle sandwich with baked tofu, raw red pepper cheese, sautéed greens and mushrooms. It was magnificent and the huge greens on the side were absolutely delicious. Honestly I didn’t want it to end. My husband had the porridge with granola, baked apple, banana and peanut butter ~ it was a big bowl and super filling. The plant-based food here is just wonderful. It was our best breakfast in the States. The staff are so kind here, super friendly and helpful. We were really impressed and enjoyed their service. If we’d been in Philly for longer we would have returned for round 2 ♥️

For three years now, the delectable carrot cake from P.S. & Co. has brought sweetness and spice to my birthday celebrations. How lucky am I? Richly flavorful, it succeeds at tasting and feeling nourishing - a feat few cakes can accomplish! It’s such a treat to have this once-a-year extravagance so elegantly decorated in honor of yet another circle around our radiant sun. The service is warm, responsive, and creative too. That allergen-free options can be delicious, perfectly moist, and able to entice the palates of all is a gift unto itself!

The ambience is so calming. The food delicious. I got the breakfast platter (bagel, tofu scramble, and seitan bacon). It's my new favorite spot in Philly. Edit: First review is from a year ago. I live in Florida, so I don't get the pleasure of coming often. I'm so happy the food quality hasn't changed after a year. The menu has changed but the food is still so delicious. I had several baked goods and the Sweet Potato Quinoa Kale Salad. The salad was soooo good. I would have taken a picture but I finished it before I decided to talk about it. Lol

We just finished an amazing lunch at P.S.&Co. I had the breakfast burrito and a pineapple, apple, lemon, turmeric, and cayenne juice. The tofu scramble and cheeses in the burrito were delicious! My partner had the lentil meatball sub which was yummy, but the kale salad was a little dry. The best part, hands down, were the cakes. We tried the vanilla and the chocolate; they were perhaps the best cakes I've ever eaten as a vegan OR as a non-vegan. The vanilla had chocolate chips in and a lovely nutty flavor throughout. The chocolate was a death-by-chocolate goodness. I mean, I just couldn't get enough even though it was rich and sticky and velvety. I am really looking forward to my next trip trough Philly - this will definitely be my new tourist trap.

Just had the MOST incredibly delicious gluten free vegan bagel toasted with vegan cream cheese and strawberry jam. Oh my goodness so good. Update: Finally tried the cinnamon roll today and it was bonkers delicious. My mom who has no food allergies said it compares to the best gluten-full non-vegan cinnamon rolls she’s had. Only available Fri-Sun. HIGHLY recommend.

This 100% Vegan friendly restaurant is one of the best. It's quaint, and exactly what you're looking for if you want a unique dining experience. Alison was a fantastic waitress, and took great care of us. She's awesome! My favorite dish was the potato latkes, and the mohinga soup! 5 stars, would definitely recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to PS&Co. I ordered the curry chickpea dish and cinnamon roll. The chickpea dish is pretty amazing and very filling. It’s also very spicy and can’t be modified. So, don’t get this if you aren’t into spicy foods. The cinnamon roll was pretty amazing as well. It was served nice and warm and was gluten free. It didn’t taste crumbly like many gluten free desserts. It was very fresh and worth a second visit on my short trip to the city. I also got a wellness shot and it seemed to help with a few sinus symptoms. Overall, I loved my first visit and will probably return before heading home.

I’ve only stopped once for a scone and it was spectacular!!! Love scones and it’s not easy to find many as a vegan. I wish they had more flavors. Can’t wait to go back to try other items from their menu.

I very much enjoyed my time eating at PS and Co.. The service was delightful and helpful and got me delicious food. I had the vegan meatball sub and it was delicious along with some cookies. Everything was super great and the outdoor space was really inviting. It was safe and friendly.

Great little cafe for grabbing vegan snacks. Service was fast and friendly. Food was pretty good especially their cake. The sweets were delicious and decently flavored but not too sweet. The atmosphere was pretty comfortable and welcoming with ample seating. Their bathroom was well-kept and even with the bustling environment, it never felt chaotic. Definitely recommended to visit, if in the area.

First-time visitor today with a non-veg friend/former co-worker. Amazing place. I love The Rustic dacor and the food was out of this world. The staff was friendly and attractive. It was a great place to meet for brunch, except for the parking difficulties. It was hard finding a space. It was hard to finding a space that my pickup truck with a hitch would fit. It was impossible to find a space they didn't require getting a ticket. When I pay the ticket, I will add a note in support of this local business.

What a gem! Gluten free and vegan restaurant willing to customize nearly any dish to accommodate other allergies. While the food is very good, the desserts are even better. Typically gluten free equates to tasteless and this is not that. The chocolate peanut butter cake would win prizes at any bakery. Their donuts are moist and spongy but not excessively sweet. I normally dont eat brownies but wanted to try the black bean brownie. You would never know it was beans! Really cute, creative, and cozy interior. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is my second visit to this shop. It has a very cute ambiance inside; can't wait for the inside to open for dine in. This is perfect for a date spot. The sweets are kind of pricey; this was my first time paying $15 for a slice of cake. My second visit they had smaller slices for $9 *throws praise hands in the air* lol. The cake slices though! Some of the best I've had. The first was vanilla cake with pumpkin buttercream and the second was the Pumpkin Cake with Sweet Potato Cream, Vanilla Cream and Cinnamon Cardamom Buttercream. Loved them both! I can afford to stop by once per trip to Philly ha ha! Good stuff!

very nice waitress & staff. be careful what you order: some items better than others if you are not used to vegan. kale salad was excellent ***** didn’t like the romaine salad and no switching dressings= truth we were warned it was salt free dill grilled cheese bread excellent cashew cheese: nothing like cheese. one person liked it one scraped it off didn't like the fake scrambled eggs but the bagel tasted fine baked goods were all very tasty; loved the maple gingerbread cookie the point of the restaurant is to be healthy and extra good for people with autoimmune disease. everything in the whole place is gluten and dairy free. unfortunately one of our party had nut allergies so there was very little to eat for her.

Came for lunch on a weekday - friendly people, tasty food and nice space. The best part was that it was gluten free! I’m always grateful for gf options. I wish some of the old menu items were still available because the friend I went with really talked them up from her previous visits. But really, I can get rice bowls or stews elsewhere- it’s the bread, cookies, cakes, that I really appreciate.

Best BEST VEGAN Food I’ve had I have had in Philadelphia and New York! The staff is absolutely amazing. The chef is top-notch and the and the atmosphere and ambience of the Restaurant is off the charts! Could not recommend this place more if you’re looking for organic gluten-free and amazing vegan food! Two new customers for life! We had the soup, potato and kale salad, which was out of this world!!!

Best place for gluten free and vegan goodies in Philly by far. Lovely and helpful people, super mission oriented, and extremely high quality food. You get what you pay for (which is high, but that's the price of organic unfortunately). Big fan.

Thank you Andrea and staff for a great brunch and a great chat. I am visiting for the weekend, and I always look for good vegan choices. I walked to P.S. & Co. on my way to the museum and was greeted by Andrea as I walked in. I had the grilled cheese which came with a side salad, and I enjoyed a cold brew. Everyone was super friendly, but especially the owner. Thanks again! I will definitely come by to see you and have another yummy organic gluten free vegan meal. Brought some vegan/gluten free friends here and it was a hit for everyone! The healing broth, chickpea salad, chocolate chip tahini cookie, and blueberry bar were amazing. Highly reccomend for sit down or grab and go!

I walked into PS&Co hoping for a gluten-free peanut butter and jelly sandwich, even though it wasn’t listed on the menu. The staff immediately jumped at the opportunity to make it happen for me. Not only did they accommodate my request, but they made the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich I’ve ever had — on the freshest, most delicious bread. The customer service was truly exceptional; everyone was so kind, welcoming, and eager to help. I left feeling incredibly impressed and grateful. I can’t wait to come back!

The food here is always good. The drinks are fantastic, especially the Elvis smoothie! Overall, I’ve always enjoyed going here - the food is very healthy and they use really high quality ingredients. At the same time, though, I need to mentally prepare in advance for the various up-charges and very expensive menu. $13 for a small berry tart? You bet. But it’s good! They used to have this healthy bowl thing that they got rid of - not sure why as it seemed popular. I am not sure if this is a recent thing, but they’ve been asking for reservations when you walk up - and it doesn’t really feel like a reservation kind of place. The front is a more casual cafe / walk up and order type of set up. This place definitely has the classic but often unfortunate tradeoff of eating ethically sourced and healthy food: high price. Which always makes me wonder. Recommend coming for a coffee / tea and quick snack but be cognizant of price.

L
Leanne M

This place is super cute and the food is delicious! It's not just for the vegan gluten free queens out there, it's for anyone who likes food! Make a reservation to ensure you get a spot but if you don't that's okay, you just might have to wait a bit. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the price, in my opinion, is quite unreasonable. Good food should be accessible and while sometimes I get you have to charge more, they do over do it a little.

N
Noah

4.2 stars. Really lovely food and drinks with ultra wholesome ingredients. Absurdly high prices for what you’re getting. I actually love that at front of house where they keep cookie and cake mixes, the oils from the mix are soaking the cute paper bags. It’s charming: I’m not kidding. But this whole vibe of moss covered walls and exposed brick isn’t for everyone. For the right clientele it’s heaven though. Beware that most juices will be sold out by around 2pm!

Among the best US coffee shops we have experienced. Great menu and amazing dishes. Very courteous and knowledgeable service. It's going to be our first stop when we visit Philadelphia again.

Come here frequently. Love that’s there is a gf and vegan breakfast place. Service is always meh but I come for the food. I ordered the French toast. Asked for a minute to decide on drink. Server came back 3 times to ask about my order. It was just me. No changes or additions, just the French toast. It wasn’t busy. I tried to order my coffee but he was really focused on food order. Finally ordered coffee ip front. Breakfast came … AMAZING AS ALWAYS.. coffee followed. Asked for a side of butter. $3.00 for a tablespoon of Mykonos butter. Come on .. seriously, an entire tub is $4.99. Really want to support local but that’s ridiculous.

T
Tamara

Great service but the food was meh. I tried the amaranth porridge and blueberry protein muffin and found both aggressively sweet. The porridge was overly sweet and still topped with candied nuts and a jam that tasted like smuckers strawberry jam (fake and candy-like), so the combination was inedible for me. The muffin was nice flavor and texture wise. Lots of blueberries in there, which I loved, but again, way too sweet. I would have gone for something savory, but I’m not a fan of soy and most things had tofu or tempeh. I feel like this place lacks some more wholesome options and could half the sugar in their recipes. Prices also felt high for what the food was. Overall, I won’t be returning.

T
T C

Rude rude rude. Have been there many times over the years, and I do enjoy the food (albeit expensive). Today was the third time that I went in where I was not acknowledged by the host. I stood there for ten minutes with my two children. It wasn't busy. No one acknowledged that we were there. No problem if there is a delay in seating- just greet us, say hello, etc. Instead, nothing. You just lost a customer. Learn to treat your clients better- not everyone is going to pay $18 for a smoothie and $20 for a waffle.
