N.B. I DOLCI E IL LIMONCELLO SONO DI PRODUZIONE PROPRIA, LA QUALITÀ DELLA MANO DI MARIA È INSUPERABILE, MA TENTE BENE A MENTE CHE AVRETE UNA NOTA IN PIÙ AL TOTALE DEL VOSTRO CONTO!!!!! A dimenticavo; CONSIGLIO A TUTTI LA PIZZA PREMIUM CHE DETIENE IL TITOLO DI PIZZA MIGLIORE DI PRATO,OVVIAMENTE IL PREZZO LIEVITA MA NE VALE LA PENA CREDETEMI!!!! Vi auguro un buon appetito.. Ciauuuuuuuu
Lovely people! Great food! My school has vouchers and this has become my favorite spot! The place is usually lively or a little quiet! The owners are nice and the boy who speaks english is nice! The son makes the pizzas I believe and he is lovely! I have a sensitive stomach so I found that the tortellini al ragu not only tastes great but makes me feel full and settled! I am American and ordered pepperoni pizza not knowing it was peppers lol! I had never eaten it before so i was hesitant but it was great! I also love the tiramisu! I have tried it almost everywhere I can but this is the best one I have eaten!! Definitely will continue to come here!
This family-run restaurant preserves the culture of fine Mediterranean dining. The ingredients used to prepare traditional Italian dishes are rigorously selected. At first glance, the menu may seem basic, given the familiarity of the names on the menu. The staff's recommendations, before any tasting, will help you appreciate the aromas, flavors, and colors of the menu. The pizza selection is both tasty and enticing. The menu is rounded out with traditional appetizers, first courses, and main courses, as well as a good selection of beverages. Tasting the dishes will make the menu seem delicious. The dessert selection is also interesting. The atmosphere is intimate and family-friendly. The owners' friendly welcome will definitely make you feel at home.
A very, very cute and intimate place. Good pizza at a fair price and excellent homemade desserts, especially for those who love pistachios. Compliments to the owner and all the staff. A truly delightful place and mostly family-run. The staff is truly kind, friendly, and approachable.
A very, very nice family-run pizzeria, a rustic place just the way I like it, with a beautiful arch. A friend of my husband works there, and it was with my boyfriend, who later became my husband. We're going back for Valentine's Day dinner, and this time I won't have the pizza, but I'll try something else, which is certainly excellent.
Celebrated my birthday last night, and even though it was small, they managed to provide good service for 15 people. The pizzas didn't all arrive at the same time, but everyone had theirs within 15 minutes. The staff was helpful and friendly throughout the week, accommodating every new person, so they deserve top marks for their patience alone. Plus, the thin, crispy pizzas were really good, so all 15 of us were happy, and it was a very reasonable price considering we also had beers and dessert.
If you're looking for an authentic, local, family-owned pizzeria, this is a great place to enjoy a meal. The husband wife pair, and their son run the place and are very friendly. It is a casual atmosphere in a small, quiet alley and felt very cozy. We have gone back twice so far and plan to go again before we leave.
Lovely place and outstanding pizza
Maria has been running this small pizzeria in the center of Prato since the early 1970s. Husband and son work between the oven and the kitchen: excellent, generously sized pizzas. Among the many I've tried over the years, I personally recommend the capricciosa (crispy and bursting with ingredients) and the pane ambra (served cold with mozzarella and plenty of salad and tomatoes, with prosciutto). The Sicilian roots are evident in the ever-present fresh cassata. A special mention goes to the indoor seating: it's a pleasure to enjoy a good dinner with a cotton tablecloth and napkins, without those unbearable paper placemats and napkins that have taken over too many places.
Venendo quasi sempre resta sempre tutto uguale... meglio così.
We went for pizza with friends on May 17, 2025. The place is rustic, but beyond the aesthetics, what matters is that we ate excellent pizza at a fair price. Greetings and thanks to Mrs. Maria and her staff. Giorgio Dionisi La Piccola Provenza holiday home Fiano Romano, Rome (For those wishing to visit Rome)
A great place for a get-together with friends, a delicious, filling calzone, and a relaxed atmosphere! Service was a bit slow, but the calzone finally arrived, and it was truly delicious.
Excellent food, poor manners. An hour and a half wait for six pizzas.
I went to dinner at this place. The initial impression was pleasant and familiar. The hostess was very nice, and the service was also very good. The tables were a bit cramped, so there were quite a few people in the room these days. The pizza... I'd say it wasn't bad, although I definitely prefer it thinner. The place was packed, though, so it was probably just my problem.
Imperdonabile, neanche nelle peggiori bettole. Non ci tornerò.
Average pizza, not worth the price
NIGHTMARE PIZZERIAS AT GOURMET PRICES Everything about this place is Sacca (that is, originally from Sciacca, like the owners) except the price. Expensive! Agonizingly long wait for a pizza that has nothing Sicilian about it (too thin and with little topping), too crunchy and biscuity. A SQUALID AND DEPRESSING place. With the excuse of being a historic place, it hasn't been renovated in years. EXTREMELY LONG WAIT. The cannoli were quite good, but the ricotta was clearly creamed and too smooth. Unprofessional staff. We certainly won't be spending that much again for a pizza that leaves you hungry in such a sloppy place.
Simple '80s pizza (and a bit questionable, too), in a '60s/'70s-style restaurant, priced ridiculously (for example, the menu lists a ham and mushrooms at just 14 euros, something I've never seen in downtown Prato, but maybe in New York). I'll skip the service to avoid being harsh. Terrible value, definitely avoid.
We ate here tonight, and it was one of the worst dinners, both for the poor quality of the ingredients and the bill. Four pizzas, a calzone with sour tomato sauce, small amount of water, and a Tuscan wine, all cost €80. Poor-quality ingredients, cloudy glasses due to excessive wear, and unprofessional staff. This place is not to be missed.
S L E A T!!! Scheduled for 8pm, arrived at 8:03pm, received the menu at 8:10pm, took the order at 8:15pm (with the lady who seemed even annoyed), the first pizza arrived at 9:10pm.. 1h to make 5 pizzas!? But, I would say NO! Oh, the pizza was also salty, and the quality/price ratio was absent. I will not return, for sure, and whoever says that the pizza is delicious, in my opinion went to another pizzeria with the same name.
We went to eat Pizza at a Kebap place after they failed to serve us after 2 hours. Don't go there!
