Abbiamo prenotato in questo splendido locale il brunch domenicale ed è stata un’esperienza favolosa . Bloody Mary di diverse tipologie, tutti preparati alla perfezione. Piatti abbondanti e squisiti. Possibilità di scegliere piatti alla carta o una formula “bloodymary all you can drink “ che comprende due piatti a scelta e bloodymary illimitati . Personale sempre sorridente e gentilissimo. Ho fatto il brunch con il bloody Mary ed è stata una bella esperienza . Il posto è davvero curato e gradevole e il cibo è squisito .si può scegliere tra diverse varianti di Bloody Mary che sono comprese nella scelta di due portate principali (uova alla benedict e spiedini di agnello davvero fatti bene )menzione d’onore alle patatine alla francese così rare da trovar a Roma .il personale è simpatico e sono pet friendly (la mia cagnolina avrebbe gradito una ciotola d ‘acqua ma magari si sono scordati ). Davvero consigliato per fuggire dal caos del centro .

Ho recentemente avuto il piacere di festeggiare il compleanno di mia zia presso l’Hotel Locarno, un luogo che ha un significato speciale per me, poiché è stato il mio primo lavoro nella ristorazione. Lì ho imparato le basi di questo mestiere, e tornare ora come cliente è un'esperienza completamente diversa. Desidero esprimere la mia più sincera gratitudine a Chiara Proietti, che ha organizzato la nostra prenotazione e ha reso possibile la sorpresa della torta per la festeggiata. La sua attenzione ai dettagli e la sua disponibilità hanno reso tutto così semplice e unico. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Luca, che ci ha offerto un servizio impeccabile e ci ha coccolato durante il pranzo, facendo sentire tutti a proprio agio. Vorrei anche menzionare Chad e Mattia, che si sono assicurati che stessimo bene durante tutta la nostra visita. La loro cortesia e disponibilità hanno arricchito ulteriormente la nostra esperienza! Un grande applauso va anche alla cucina e ai fantastici chef Faruk, Peter e Costanza, che ci hanno deliziati con piatti davvero squisiti. Ogni portata era preparata con cura e il sapore era semplicemente fantastico. È evidente che il team di cucina mette il cuore in ciò che fa. Un must to try! L’amatriciana Gran cru la migliore in tutta Roma. Desidero anche ringraziare la reception, in particolare Riccardo, Simona e Stefano, per l'accoglienza calorosa all'entrata dell'hotel e per averci dato la possibilità di fare un tour di una camera. La loro disponibilità e cortesia hanno reso il nostro arrivo ancora più piacevole! L'Hotel Locarno non è un semplice hotel, ma un posto dove ti senti a casa, grazie a uno staff che fa davvero la differenza. Ogni membro del team contribuisce a creare un'atmosfera accogliente e familiare. Quando si dice che le persone fanno il posto, posso dire che è così in questo Hotel. Consiglio vivamente l’Hotel Locarno a chiunque desideri vivere un'esperienza culinaria eccezionale in un ambiente meraviglioso. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare per un'altra occasione speciale!

Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno sulla terrazza dell’hotel. Chiara, che mi ha aiutato ad organizzare l’evento, e Andrea, che ci ha seguiti come responsabile, sono stati fantastici così come tutto lo staff. Abbiamo passato una serata bellissima, con cibo e drink di altissimo livello, come sempre d’altronde quando si frequenta l’hotel Locarno. Un posto che si conferma unico a Roma per eleganza, cura dei dettagli, gentilezza. Grazie davvero.
L'ho conosciuto per una colazione/brunch. É il posto dove vorrei tornare altre mille volte. Semplicemente fantastico, non c é una cosa che io abbia mangiato che non mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta. Posto stupendo a due passi da piazza del Popolo conobbi questo posto tanti anni fa è rimasi colpito dalla cura e la bellezza del suo giardino, c'è un glicine meraviglioso. Ho organizzato la laurea di mia figlia sulla terrazza dell'Hotel, ambiente riservato ed intimo da cui si gode di un bel panorama. Il servizio è stato eccellente, professionalità e tanto garbo. Cibo ottimo, di qualità e cucinato al momento. La torta poi...una squisitezza, pensavo che la millefoglie con il caldo si sarebbe fatta molle invece la sfoglia era così croccante !! Il brunch del Bar Locarno è una di quelle esperienze che riescono a essere speciali. La location è elegante ed esclusiva, ma allo stesso tempo intima e silenziosa. Ogni piatto è equilibrato, gustoso e pensato per un brunch che sa essere raffinato ma anche appagante. Menzione speciale per il Bloody Mary: non è un semplice cocktail, ma una vera firma del locale. Un brunch decisamente consigliato!!
Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno al giardino del Bar Locarno, e non potevo fare scelta migliore! È un posto magnifico e senza tempo, dall’atmosfera suggestiva e raffinata. Essendo una quindicina di persone, avevamo circa metà del giardino riservata per noi, e ciò ha contribuito a rendere la serata ancora più intima. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, mentre il cibo era semplicemente delizioso (Finger food buonissimi e torta spaziale!!!) Gli iconici cocktail, poi, non hanno bisogno di presentazioni, buonissimi. Il tutto in formula open bar! Complimenti ancora a tutto lo staff e alla signora Chiara, che ha curato tutta l'organizzazione con grande cortesia e professionalità.
Sono stato al Bar Locarno durante una passeggiata a Roma e sono rimasto davvero colpito. Il locale è accogliente e ben curato, con un’atmosfera rilassante ideale sia per una colazione veloce che per un caffè pomeridiano. Il personale è cortese e disponibile, sempre pronto a suggerire le specialità del giorno. Ho provato un cappuccino e una brioche fresca: entrambi di ottima qualità. Il bar offre anche una selezione di snack e bevande calde e fredde, perfette per ogni momento della giornata. Il prezzo è giusto considerando la zona centrale e la qualità del servizio. Inoltre, il locale è pulito e ordinato, e si sente che c’è attenzione ai dettagli. Consiglio il Bar Locarno a chi cerca un posto tranquillo per una pausa, lontano dal caos cittadino, senza rinunciare alla qualità. Sicuramente ci tornerò!

Festa di compleanno organizzata in modo impeccabile, food & drink perfetti (bartender eccezionale), personale super gentile e professionale, un grazie particolare a Chiara per l'ottima organizzazione e disponibilità e a Luca per la sua attenzione, professionalità e gentilezza. Ambiente elegante e ricercato. Starters ben presentati e con gusto bilanciato. Una sorpresa le pittule con il sugo (da provare). Aperitivo molto gradevole. C’è anche un’area all’aperto, ma è probabilmente riservata agli ospiti dell’hotel. Prezzi in linea con il servizio offerto.

My girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves for the new yar and made a reservation at the cafè of Locarno. I forgot to confirm my reservation on line but when we arrived we were treated like princesses and nobody even mentioned my passe faux. I had eggs benedict and my friend the spigola in crosta di zucchine! Delizioso! We will be back!
Quiet spot away from the crush of tourists. We sat in the garden which was lovely, peaceful. Very good service and food. We assumed service was included in our bill. However, when we paid the bill we had the impression that it was not, since our attention was directed (politely) to the typical "tip" area on the pad, which we declined. If tip was not included, I wish it had been stated clearly somewhere because we certainly would have left 20%. It was well worth it and we will return in a couple of weeks.

Martini, Paloma, Arribiata, duck confit, Vitello Tonnato, The Rocker cocktail, and the service somehow, some way, far exceeded the lovely ambiance of the garden patio of Bar Locarno. Thank you so much for making our evening a special one.

We loved this place. The garden was incredibly pleasant and peaceful. All the staff were extremely polite, kind, and attentive. The music, the atmosphere… everything was of high quality. We enjoyed it very much. Alongside your drink, they offer complimentary olives, chips, and roasted almonds, all of which were incredibly delicious. A very thoughtful touch to accompany your drink. I highly recommend this place, located inside a hotel with a beautiful garden, away from the crowds. The prices were a bit high, but I think it’s worth the quality of service they provide. 🙏
A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere! The staff services and warm welcome was delightful. Additionally, the food and the drinks were great and full of flavors. I’d surely come back again for a brunch or an afternoon Aperitivo.
A great respite from the heavy Rome sun. We were treated like 5 star guests, with ample amount of attention, and accommodations that we hadn’t asked for but were greatly appreciated. The food was Top tier, Eggs Benedict and a Cesar Salad along with a Caprese Salad*. Expertly crafted cocktails made with the fine spirits. The only regret we had was not eating here again or coming back for dinner at their rooftop terrace restaurant.

We came here for breakfast. The staff was professional and kind. The bar is located in a 5 stars hotel. There is the possibility of having breakfast indoor or outdoor. My husband enjoyed his food; he got the eggs Benedict and French toast, both of which were good. I, on the other hand, was quite disappointed with my pancakes. They came as four small pieces and definitely weren’t worth the €14 price tag. Overall, it seems that depending on what you order, you can either have a great or a disappointing experience.
The rooftop is great, the view is not that good though. Food was delicious and especially the service was great! Price is higher than usual as expected for this location. Good for a special occasion but not for everyday.
Lovely place recommended by a TikTok video. We, a traveling couple, chose this location for a late breakfast because of the central location. In all 10 days we have been in Italy, this is the only place that served small portions. Absolutely perfect for social media influencers, classic old school travelers, lunch with your mother or grandmother who might be paying the bill, or a quick romantic coffee. Birds fly around, antique lion fountain in the garden, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you're looking for something upscale that is casual.

Reserved this place for christmas dinner. They put us on a lounge chair and when I asked for a different table they said they were full. Ar a certain point I insisted and they switched our place. The ambiance is nice, xmas decor was cute. I had a meat tortellini with truffle. It was good (but not amazing). There was generous amount of truffle on it which is always great. To compensate for the back and forth they gave us prosecco which was nice of them BUT the most shocking was that half the restaurant was empty as we left.
This review is not about the hotel experience but the aperitivo the Hotel Locarno offers as a service to external guests. My wife, some friends and I booked the aperitivo at the Locarno Hotel on a Saturday evening. I keep saying going out on Saturdays in Rome is never a good idea. Parking is a nightmare; places are packed, and crews are stressed because they are often understaffed. This time was not an exception. Here's the experience in short: Atmosphere & Place 5: The Hotel Locarno is a beautiful building in the heart of the City. This vote is not about the hotel. It is about the setting of our experience. We had a table in a tiny room back to back with a room with a birthday party. We asked the staff to have another table, but we were told they don't have a six-person table in the main room or garden. No one told us about this when we booked. The table was highly uncomfortable for six people. We had to rearrange the glasses and the plates every time the waiter brought something. I pour over my expensive cocktail for this reason. Of course, I had to pay for it twice. The chairs were an invitation to leave the place as soon as possible. We arrived at 7 pm sharp and the restrooms were already heavily used. I didn't find paper napkins after washing my hands. Menu 7: I liked everything we ordered. The Lov 'n' Tonic cocktail was a blast. I had a sip of the Margarita my wife ordered, which was delicious too. Service 5: The staff was professional and precise in taking the orders and bringing everything in the correct sequence. The cocktail accident should have been managed more professionally. Bill 5: Considering the furniture and the room quality, I consider it too expensive to pay for a cocktail 23 EUR

Shameless . 23€ for a Campari Spritz which was 90% ice cubes with three stale crisps and olives plus clumsy waiting is simply ludicrous.
We met our friends here for a drink before dinner because they we’re staying here. They had reserved a table on the rooftop for the four of us but when we got there, we were told the rooftop was booked for a private function. We were hustled off to another roof patio where we were seated and told they’d be right with us. There was another large group surrounded by 3 employees waiting and watching them. Another couple came in, we’re seated and had their drinks before anyone bothered to come and take our order. When they did come, we asked how long it might be to get our drinks as we had already been waiting 10 minutes and had a reservation to get to at another restaurant. We were told it would be a minimum of 10 minutes to get our drinks. We asked if we could go down the the bar for faster service and they replied that that would be a smart idea as they had to bring the drinks from there anyway. We went down and got our drinks finally. Went out and had a wonderful meal elsewhere. Sadly, after dinner, we went back to the same bar for a night cap. We ordered a bottle of wine after waiting once again for 5-10 minutes for service. Our friends finally went went off to bed while we finished our bottle, flipped it upside down in the ice bucket to show it was finished and proceeded to wait for anybody to come by and ask if we wanted anything else or the bill. Waited….waited….waited…. Finally I got up, went into the bar to the cash area and the guy printed out the bill immediately as though he’d been waiting for us to come in and pay!!?? I was horrified for my friends who had spent $3600 for 3 nights there and were treated like subhumans. Very, very poor and arrogant service providers. When a cocktail is €23, I anticipate better service than Locarno offers.
We saw this place has a good rating so we went there but unfortunately we were very disappointed.This is what we got for 38€!! I wouldn’t recommend going there, I guess there are better places to have breakfast at.. they’ll for sure be cheaper!
