Love this place. It's our favorite Italian restaurants, and one of our overall favorites too. Food is outstanding, and the wines are well paired. An added bonus is that besides table service, they sell their wines at retail too, something I hadn't experienced previously. Always ask about their specials. You'll be glad you did. This visit we shared a salad and the charred octopus Mediterran style, the had the Pappradelle Cinghiale (wild boar). The wine was Prunicce Supertuscan that paired fabulously. Always a treat, especially with Kevin serving us.
I finally got to try Piero’s Corner and it completely lived up to the hype! This spot is such a gem in Franklin Farm—cozy, welcoming, and clearly a favorite with locals. We started with the grilled octopus salad, perfectly charred and flavorful. Then I had the vongole pasta, loaded with fresh clams and rich, savory flavors—I personally like my pasta a bit more al dente, but honestly, it didn’t take away from how delicious it was. My partner ordered the lemon chicken over pasta, which was light, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Every bite just showed how much care goes into the cooking here. The staff is super friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and our server made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. For dessert, we went with the lemoncello cake, which was beautiful, light, and the perfect finish. Parking was easy, the new bar area adds a nice vibe, and as a fun side note, if you’re in the neighborhood after dinner, I grabbed a quick delivery from Pressure Deliveries—shoutout to them for making the night even better! If you’re looking for authentic Italian in the area—whether for date night, family dinner, or just a comforting meal—you can’t go wrong here. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Dropped in for dinner with a friend who had been to PIERO’s many times. I was not disappointed. My experience was 100% wonderful. “Alex”, who I believe was the evening’s manager, was our gracious and humble host, and he made some good recommendations for dinner and dessert. I had the blackened Swordfish and the Tiramisu which were both delicious. WELL DONE.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Piero's Corner is a gem! The cozy atmosphere and warm service make you feel right at home. The food is outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. The homemade pasta and tiramisu are must-tries! Portions are generous, and the wine selection pairs perfectly. A fantastic spot for a date night or family dinner. Highly recommend!
Known of this place a while ago but never go a chance to visit til today. I’m glad I did! The food is amazing! The carbonara is rich, noodles are soft and slightly chewy, plenty of pancetta! It’s heaven on a plate! The spaghetti cince terre was good and reminiscing of the seafood pasta in Venice! If you like good Italian, Piero’s corner is where it it!
Absolutely one of the top Italian dining experiences in the entire DMV area. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is inviting—elegant yet cozy—with attentive staff that truly elevate the experience. The menu is outstanding across the board. We’ve tried their soups, pizzas, pastas, and wines—and everything is consistently exceptional. The soups are rich and flavorful, perfect starters that set the tone for the meal. Their pizzas are some of the best we’ve had—thin, crisp, wood-fired crusts with perfectly balanced toppings. They also offer gluten-free options that don’t compromise on taste or texture, which is a rare find. The pasta is simply outstanding—freshly made, cooked al dente, and served with sauces that are clearly crafted with care and quality ingredients. Whether it’s a classic marinara, a creamy truffle, or a spicy arrabbiata, they’ll happily adjust the spice level to your preference, which shows their attention to guest satisfaction. Their wine selection is thoughtfully curated, with options to pair beautifully with every dish on the menu. Ask for recommendations—the staff knows their list well and won’t steer you wrong. What really seals the experience is the service. The team is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely hospitable. Every visit feels personal and welcoming. Whether you're going for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or just craving good Italian food, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend—this restaurant has definitely earned a spot on my go-to list.
We hired Chef Piero to host a private event at our J&L Interiors showroom for an Italian wine tasting. We worked with Gian Piero to help curate a menu that would pair with the wines being served. Gian was creative in his recommendations to create the perfect menu. Not only was the food delicious, but it was beautifully plated. The night was perfect! Thank you for your culinary expertise and excellent service!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Piero's Corner, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The **America pizza** was a masterpiece, with perfectly crispy crust and a delectable combination of toppings that made each bite a joy. The **garlic bread** was wonderfully buttery and bursting with flavor, an ideal complement to the pizza. Paired with a crisp, refreshing **white wine**, the meal was elevated to another level of enjoyment. To top it all off, the **pecan pie** was a sweet ending that left my taste buds wanting more. The customer service was impeccable. Paul my waiter went above and beyond to ensure I had everything we needed, and co-owner Rachel's warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome and appreciated. Their dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience is evident in every detail. The restaurant and bathrooms were very mod and impeccably clean! Piero's Corner continues to be my go-to spot for an authentic and thoroughly enjoyable Italian meal. Highly recommended! 🌟🍕🍷🥧 PS- they have an amazing Thanksgiving meal catering option this year! Very cool!
Outstanding service and delicious food. You can immediately tell it's excellent quality from their pasta to amazing pizza to their superb sandwiches. You will not be disappointed. They also have an excellent kids menu, full service bar and a private room that accommodates upto 40 people. We are so glad to have stopped here, highly recommend.
Went here last night to celebrate my Dad’s birthday, and was really impressed with the service and the food. Fast service, the server was friendly and super helpful with everything. I was even more impressed when the food came out. Great presentation, and the food was cooked perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we all kept talking about how we missed a solid Italian restaurant experience like this on the way home. There’s a lot of decent restaurants out there in the northern Virginia area, but this place was fantastic. Thank you! This was a memorable dining experience.
Came here for a dinner to try a new place and it was a great experience. They have a very creative drink menu. We tried the pumpkin old fashioned and it was good. Also, they have fantastic sangiovese wine, it was very smooth. The food was also very good. Standard italian fare executed perfectly in my opinion. Service was excellent too and everyone was having a good time. We didn't get the pizza, but it looked awesome. Will try it next time. I highly recommend this place.
Decided to try out Piero's with a few friends of mine, since we always pass by this place on the way home. Well, I can't believe we haven't heard of this place sooner! The Food: The food was incredibly delicious! Piero's definitely shot up to one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area so far. The quality of the homemade pasta, the freshness of the seafood and how the overall dishes were so well built. All the dishes we had were perfect. I went with the "Bucatini Carbonara", and man was it incredibly. From the creamy sauce, to the pasta itself. It was to die for. All dishes well portioned out as well! Notable mentions are the fried calamari, absolutely amazing. From the light batter that is fried perfectly. It was one of the best apps there. The Service: Service was absolutely great! The staff were so welcoming and patient with our big group. Everyone was so friendly and it really felt like a nice family restaurant. Water refills and occasional check ups were consistent as well. Amazing service. The Atmosphere: Italian aesthetic that is tastefully decorated. very spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Definitely gives off that homey and family feel. Overall, a 5/5! My friends and I had such a great experience here! From the amazing food to such a warm/welcoming group of staff members. I'll be back again for sure!
We loved this family-style restaurant. Every dish was delicious. Charcoal octopus salad was the best. They give big portion, especially the seafood pasta. The dish was huge. The server was very friendly and helpful. A little complain for today was that we had to wait for a while for food and dessert. But they were busy. So it's understandable.
OmG! What a gem!!! I had been meaning to try this place for a while based on reviews and finally got a chance, and I am sure glad that we did! The food is fresh made to order. Friendly attentive staff. I saw the owner/manager go to each table to ask how things are going with all the customers including us. Very nice family touch. The pasta I ordered with the salmon was unbelievable. Everything else was great but that dish was extraordinary! I didn't want the asparagus, so i asked them to put zucchini and they made my pasta to order! We will be back again soon!
Amazing Italian place for dine in. There pasta’s are damn delicious. They have huge collection wines and they sell their own made wines too. The compliment bread was so warm and fresh that we can’t resist. It came with a dip of olive oil and pesto and was so delicious. The margheritta pizza was good but not a win win when compared with their pastas. I tried their mushroom sauce no meat for cheese raviolis pasta and was so so good. Even I’m having a watery mouth imagine that. Must try it.
Chose this restaurant based upon reviews...as someone who spends weeks in Italy each year I was expecting authentic Italian food not Americanized Italian food. First my meal, veal scallopine, was served lukewarm with a tasteless sauce. My wife had a special seafood dish that was decent. Another diner had the lasagna which was simply not good. In all a disappointing dinner.
Really nice young lady at hostess table and bartender was nice to talk to when I needed to pay the bill and pickup my order. Food was not so good. Blackened chicken is not usually what I have when I order blackened chicken. Calamari was not that good at all. Pizza and spaghetti and meatball were okay.
We had high expectations going in from a friend's recommendation and good reviews. For the most part, we enjoyed it but for a major disappointing experience with Jacob the waiter. He took our order for the 3 of us. I specifically read off the lunch special menu which was on the last page of the menu without flipping through the other pages at all. However, when the check came with higher prices, I mentioned to Jacob that I ordered the lunch specials and expected that he would adjust the check. Instead, he argued with me and said nothing else except for a dismissive "sorry". My experience with decent restaurants is that the customer is always right. But in this case, Jacob refused to acknowledge his error and extend a common courtesy. I still left a decent tip but it definitely was not for Jacob's "service". Unfortunately, we won't be back.
Today’s experience was not very pleasant. After being seated, the waiter (an old and skinny man) brought us ice water. I took a few sips and noticed a lipstick stain on the other side of the cup. I wasn’t wearing lipstick today. So, I called the waiter over and told him the cup was dirty. He asked me, “ Are you wearing lipstick?” I said no. He then asked my 10-year-old daughter, my husband, and my son if any of them were wearing lipstick. When we told him no one was wearing lipstick, he said, “You’re all natural today.”and walked away without even apologizing. I ordered the lemon chicken, and when he came over to ask how the dish was, I told him the yellow zucchini in it was over ripe and the skin was very hard to chew. He said it was just some eggplant. Don’t know if this waiter has mental issues or was having a bad day or something. I probably won’t come back here again.
