My husband and I came here yesterday with our 2 children. I was very happy that we were able to get a table easily and they were able to accommodate my request for a boot as it is much easier to contain our toddlers. The food was delicious! I had the French toast with bacon and eggs. My husband had Lox Eggs Benedict, & both of our sons had chocolate chip pancakes with bacon & eggs. The bacon was cooked to perfection! My husband kept raving over his dish. I also had the most delicious and well balanced caramel latte! 1 was also very impressed by the pricing for the kids menu. I believe the kids breakfast were each only $6-$7 and they got a huge pancake with their bacon and eggs. Both of our servers were incredibly kind and helpful! I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone looking for good quality food especially the breakfast items!
This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The overall environment is contemporary with a spacious bar area plus seating both inside and out. It is always a good sign when the manager stops by to see if everything is OK. My favorite dinner is the homemade meatloaf with a good choice of sides that includes broccolini and carrots. For breakfast, the eggs Benedict are wonderful. The service is fast. Located at One Loudoun, Teds Bulletin is very conveniently located near the parking deck
I visited this place a while ago, and the chicken pasta really stood out — the pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the crispy chicken cutlet with cheese on top made it unforgettable. Truly one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, which made it a perfect spot for brunch. Since this review is from a past visit, things may have changed now, but overall, I was very satisfied with both the food and the setting.
This place goes above and beyond every time. The people are amazing. Every one of the staff are excellent and go above the standards of customer service. The food is excellent as well. When I have the slightest issue I don’t even say anything but the manager always walks up and can tell when something is not right and makes it right. I can’t say enough about this place and the people. Every single person in this restaurant is amazing. Thank you for taking the time to make customer service your priority.
This is possibly the best Ted’s Bulletin in the DMV. The atmosphere is amazing, staff is friendly and very accommodating and the owner takes pride in his establishment and customers by always lending a hand! My favorite the Super Deluxe is always good as ever! Their Steak & Eggs are also a top tier choice! Just two of my favorites!
The restaurant has a quiet, calm atmosphere, and the waiters are friendly. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer. The crispy batter and spicy sauce enhanced the flavor of the fried calamari. For mains, we ordered grilled shrimp tacos, chicken piccata pasta, and red wine. The shrimp tacos were delicious, with the filling and sauce blending well. The chicken piccata was cut into bite-sized pieces.
Ted's Bulletin is a fantastic spot for brunch, offering a vibrant atmosphere that's both lively and inviting. It wasn't crowded but it had enough people to show it was a popular spot. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food selection for brunch is impressive, with a variety of tasty options. Everything I tried was delicious, but the jalapeño bombs and the chips with guacamole were standout favorites. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great brunch experience!
It is my fiancée’s birthday and she wanted to try something new for breakfast. This place is clean and has a very good vibe! The wait staff were helpful in recommending what to eat and very friendly. She ordered the steak and eggs and I got huevos rancheros: both delicious. We will definitely be back!
We love this place and I go almost every weekend, sometimes twice in a week! Portions are generous and there is a lot of variety. Great HH specials as well!
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles. Our server, Estuario, provided exceptional service and treated every member of our family with kindness. His attentiveness to our children’s needs was evident throughout our visit. Children’s menus with crayons were promptly provided, and their drinks were served in plastic cups with lids. Our coffee was served hot, and our various dietary requests were accommodated with ease. The food was served exactly as ordered, and the kids enjoyed every bite! Thank you, Ted’s Bulletin staff, for a delightful family brunch!
Steak burrito here is pretty good. The hash browns are super crispy and delicious. The huevo ranchero is delicious as well in this location. It is super crunchy, savory and balanced with some acidity from the pico de gallo yielding a very tasty plate. The espresso martini here comes in a very small cup but it was made with espresso instead of the cold brew as we had requested and it was very good! The aesthetic of the place is very nice and the ambience feels great!
Wednesday afternoon lunch and it was pretty full, but we had reservations and no wait to be seated. We had a corner booth and attended to quickly. Ordered the Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup and the Pastrami Reuben. Hands down the best Tomato Soup and Pastrami Reuben, especially the Reuben. Ordered the Ted Tart to go for a sweet treat later. Service was great as well. I wish all dining experiences were like this.
Modern interior design. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Even with the soft opening, they nailed it! Highly recommend the crab cake and short rib pasta. The dessert portion were huge! And their Strawberry Lemonade cocktail was A plus. We will definitely comeback again.
First time here. I had the Chicken Piccata which is the best I've ever had. It is a must try
Ted is a place to be, dinner or breakfast or brunch... pick your meal but be here. Some of the best food in NVA happens here in Ashburn.
Went to the One Loudoun location with a friend recently after work. I've been to the Reston and Mosaic District locations previously and really liked them both. Loved what they did with the space at One Loudoun, really beautiful inside. The appetizers and drinks were excellent, as expected...can't wait to go back.
4.5* Stopped by for lunch at Ted's Bulletin. My husband raves about their pop tarts but haven't had a chance to pop in until now. The interior is contemporary and very busy as every table was occupied with eaters---which is well deserved as the meal was delicious to the point where I wished I stopped by earlier. We were swayed by our server Joanna to order the cinnamon bun as big as your head, which is truly as big as your head. I appreciate the fact they separate the sauce from the pastry so we can control sweetness level. We also order green juice and coffee. The green juice had the perfect amount of ginger that slight kick in the end. We ordered: chicken and waffles, Norwegian egg Benedict, sea bass, and the kids breakfast with an additional strawberry pop tart. My husband said he would definitely order the chicken and waffles again. The Norwegian eggs Benedict was for our friend and he loved the flavor. I appreciated the vibrancy and color of that dish. The sea bass was delicious with the grilled fingerling potatoes and brussel sprouts. I remember biting into the potatoes and eyes widened at the smokey tone and really enjoyed the experience. Only reason for docking half wlstar was due to my fish having a few pieces of bone still in and poked my mouth a couple of times which isn't a deal breaker since it happens with fish. Our daughter loved the homemade pop tarts and pancakes and if her tummy could, she would definitely eat the whole plate. The front end was great and greeted us as we entered and one of the gentleman wearing pink also stopped by to check on how our meal was which is always appreciated. Joanna was a wonderful server and was attentive in clearing away plates to make room for our food. She was kind and a joy to have for lunch. My husband asked at the end, shall we add Ted's to our dinner rotation? And I immediately nodded, definitely!
Excellent restaurant, great food, good cocktails and beers and nice atmosphere. The service is very good and the bartender JP is the best. Also manager Jason was very attentive. Ted’s is my favorite restaurant.
It is beautiful inside and definitely has a different feel then the other Ted Bulletin's I've been to. Love that they have breakfast all day. As a starter, I ordered the fried cauliflower. It was very crispy but I only wish the sauce was tossed in with them vs. on the side, but that is just a preference. I orderd the Ted's Tart Pancakes and they are so delicious, very very large pancakes (so some to take home) but it had great flavor - on the sweeter side. This isn't only a sit down restaurant. There is a small bar up front where you can order from their coffee bar or from their pastry window. We didn't have room for dessert but their cake slices and pop tarts looked divine.
Fantastic food and exceptional service! Manager took the the time to make sure our orders were prepared per or request and spoke to us in detail about the lengths his team goes to ensure we have a consistent experience upon each visit.
This is one of my new favorite places. The food is excellent, very expensive menu for both food and drinks. And the service is outstanding. Abdula what is my server today and he was exceptional. Their coffee is a must have, if you are inclined I highly recommend the cinnamon toast crunch latte. Beyond that, the place is clean, there’s plenty of parking in the area, and they make the most incredible homemade pop tarts, I’m talking about next level good. I haven’t been to their weekday happy hour yet but it looks really good with reasonable prices. I’ll be checking that out and updating the review in the next few weeks. Their brunch menu is terrific, and the portion size is plenty. In terms of pricing, I found it to be well below what I would have expected in this type of place. Great spot in One Loudoun, I’ll be back again and again.
Ted’s is a perfect place to treat yourself to good quality food and service. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is beautiful. I feel as though I’m in a luxury restaurant. It’s clean, well maintained, and the lighting is perfect. Not overwhelming, but not hard to see. The vibe is warming and welcoming, which compliments the service well. SERVICE: The service is superb. You are quickly seated, and your server will be with you very quickly. Julio is a wonderful server. He is funny, polite, and great at his job. Last time I went here, him and another server gave me advice about how to understand the environment of a restaurant related job, as I had just been hired. He remember me when I came here today, and was very sweet. He also gave me extra fries and ketchup (the perfect amount of ketchup, I might add). I was surprised to find out he is one of their newer hires! He seemed to learn quickly, as he was quick and professional. FOOD: While on the pricey side (from a high school minimum wage worker’s perspective), I’d say it is well worth the money. The food quality is good, and it comes out relatively quickly. In the picture, I order a Ted’s Burger (with some ingredients removed). The fries, that I quickly devoured, were warm and well seasoned. The onions are perfectly caramelized, and the egg is perfectly cooked. Even the pickles looked Appetizing (and I am not a huge fan of pickles! Ate them, very crunchy, very juicy). Additionally, they give you the extra milkshake that doesn’t fit into the glass (and they give a spoon to help you drink it!). My only complaint is that the pasta I had in the past was lacking in flavor. It had some flavor, but it was very faint. Otherwise, the food there is amazing!
Had an amazing experience at this location! This was the second time at a Ted’s Bulletin and I went for dinner! Service and ambiance was stellar!!
We went there for brunch on a busy Cherry blossom peak weekend. They told the wait time was 20 minutes but we were seated immediately. Our waiter Juan was polite and quick. We ordered some boozy shakes and lattes to kick off the weekend. The shakes were yummy and came with extra in a tumbler. We ordered cornbread, truffle fries and calamari for appetizers. Those were the softest cornbread we’ve ever tasted. Calamari was well cooked and not rubbery. Truffle fries could have been better with more truffle oil or truffles rather than just the truffle salt. We ordered Norwegian hollandaise brunch, smoked salmon and vegetarian grain bowl for entrees. Everything turned out amazing and really filled our tummies. Banana pudding caught our eyes for dessert even though we were almost full and we don’t regret ordering. It was light and flavorful. Definitely recommend the place for brunch with your date or friends.
French toast was out of this world yummy and diy omelette was good. Service was very professional. Vibe was too good
It has been about a week maybe more and the woman at the front counter remembered the food I said I would try next time when I was struggling to do so myself! Her customer service then and now is absolutely kind, helpful and she adds to an already great experience! I don’t eat at Ted’s often but when I do I’m never disappointed!😁 louden and DC location have the best servers and employees at a place to eat I’ve ever seen! The food is certainly worth the wait when busy. They don’t need to be but they are apologetic when it takes time.
It has been years since being to a Ted's, the ambiance food and service exceeded expectations. Sat at bar, amazing espresso martinis and shared 5 pop tarts with friends. Great food/bev combo!
We had a wonderful breakfast at Ted’s Bulletin, and the experience was made truly special by Daniel. From the moment we sat down, Daniel was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. He knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect without ever feeling rushed. The food was delicious and comforting, but Daniel’s service really stood out—friendly, patient, and thoughtful, especially for a family breakfast. Service like this makes you want to come back again and again. Huge thanks to Daniel and the team for starting our day on such a positive note! Highly recommend!
My wife and I celebrated 34 years of marriage this past Sunday, and I'll tell you what, they treated us like a king and queen. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was fantastic, they knew our names, other servers would come up and say happy anniversary to us. The general manager came over and sat down at our table to talk to us just being completely friendly. That has never happened in all of our years where a general manager will come over, be kind, sit down, speak, and know our names. We were very impressed and we will be going there on a regular basis! Thank you Jason for such a wonderful time!!!
My husband and I had dinner here tonight and everything was so good and the entire staff was cheerful and helpful. We had the steak egg rolls for an app and they were fantastic and we really loved the sauce that came with it. Then I had the big breakfast I can't remember what it was called and my husband got the ted burger with the truffle fries. We loved everything.
Overall the food was good. The taste, price and portions were fair. All of our dishes were standard American breakfast meals done right. One minor issue is the cloth napkin was stained with old food. We asked the server twice but she kept forgetting to bring a replacement so we had to get a new set of napkins on our own. We do like this restaurant so am treating this like a one-off misfire
The food was wonderful - fresh, fantastic. Apparently they sell whole yummy carrot cakes! But our evening was made perfect by our wonderful server, Daniel. He was attentive, made great suggestions, and was an overall delight. We will be back!
I went for breakfast on a weekday and had a great experience! I walked in and instantly loved the aesthetic and atmosphere. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk to drink and avocado toast and one of their homemade s’more’s pop-tarts. Everything was delicious! I had them warm up the pop-tart because it wasn’t served warm, and it was perfect. Highly recommend coming here!
My friend and I stopped by Ted's Bulletin for dinner after Pilates class last night. I had never been there in the evening (always breakfast or brunch previously), and we really enjoyed it! The hostess was fantastic, very warm and welcoming, and seated us as requested in a cozy booth by the bar. There were plenty of diners, but it was not packed (like I prefer), so the ambiance was lovely and it was easy for us to have a wonderful conversation. I ordered the Short Rib Pasta (with gluten-free pasta, which I learned that Ted's does offer), and Chrissie had the French Onion Soup Burger. Both were delicious, with plentiful servings and nice presentation. We wanted to give a shout out to Daniel as our server for taking exemplary care of us! He really made dinner enjoyable, and was great with friendly chat, menu recommendations and overall knowledge. The whole experience was unexpectedly delightful on a regular Tuesday night, and we will definitely return more often now for dinner at Ted's Bulletin!
It was my daughter and her friend’s 14th birthday brunch with their friend group and they had an amazing time. Staff seated them in a nice area by the window where they have some privacy and I asked to be seated at a different table close enough to keep an eye out. Food was delicious—I had calamari and beef short rib pasta and a few peach bellinis. The kids mostly had pancake stacks and smoked salmon with avocado toast and they were good. Staff was friendly and attentive and wonderful.
There were six of us ladies and we all enjoyed our food. I will definitely order the shaved ribeye sandwich again. Delish! The corn bread was amazing too. I had a bite! Out waiter was so great, I wish I could remember his name. Always love the atmosphere there.
While there's no doubt that breakfast here is top notch, especially with the grown-up "pop tart" style pastries, my wife and I went for dinner and it was the right choice. I'm not a vegetarian but I thought the Fable Mushroom Gyro Wrap looked good and I loved it. We also started with the calamari and I'd recommend it too. My only complaint is that we felt a bit rushed but to be fair, it was a busy night. Regardless of that, we'll definitely be coming back soon!
Our party ordered the steak & cheese egg rolls, short rib stroganoff, French onion burger, short rib grilled cheese, tres leches cake, and various coffee and alcoholic drinks. Everything was very good and had generous portions. Daniel was our server and they did an incredible job with pacing, attentiveness, and customer service. Daniel made some excellent recommendations and they are definitely one of the reasons I am excited to go back and try more items!
Even though my visit was a while ago, the memory of that chicken pasta is still vivid! It was, without a doubt, one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time. The execution was flawless: the pasta was perfectly cooked al dente, the sauce was wonderfully rich and flavorful, and the highlight—a crispy chicken cutlet topped with cheese—made it absolutely unforgettable. The atmosphere was also lovely—calm and cozy—making it the ideal brunch spot. While things may have changed since then, I was incredibly satisfied with both the amazing food and the setting!
I've visited the One Loudoun location of Ted's Bulletin quite a few times but didn't realize I haven't reviewed their location before. I visited again recently and ordered their Cinnamon Toast Crunch iced latte, their weekend dessert special which was a giant Cinnamon Roll, and their Confit Shiitake Hash. I didn't find their iced latte or special cinnamon roll to be truly anything special, the iced latte actually lacked flavour and their cinnamon roll was just a larger version of a typical cinnamon roll with the icing on the side for presentation. The shiitake confit was good. Overall, this is a good restaurant within One Loudoun though the food could be better, as well as the service received at the table. Thank you
Sunday brunch was really busy and service was little bit slow which was acceptable. been there many times and we really love this specific branch. burgers are great, avocado toast is good but their steak was chewy even with medium cook and that's why I gave them 4star. overall a really nice place for brunch. don't forget to check their beer menu.
Classic burgers, quick fix for lunch. What's not to love. While no pictures were uploaded on the decor, the seating area and location and space feels very grand with very high ceilings. The service wait staff can get busy and not swing by your table for a while but it was very thoughtful to have had the service or location manager swing by each table. Ted's Bulletin menu is features upscale American diner food with some old school classics that can be labor-intensive and time-consuming to cook. In any case, the burgers tasted like fresh and certainly a step up from fast-food chains. The fries were just fries and rather unremarkable.
Ted’s Bulletin at One Loudoun delivered a mostly great dining experience. We started with the fried calamari, which was lightly fried, crispy, and not greasy—definitely a strong start. The loaded tots were also solid, though the bacon on top was overcooked and felt like it had been sitting out a while before making it to the plate. The seafood taco was packed with flavor, but I really wish they had charred the tortilla to give it that extra bit of smokiness. The Mexican street corn was incredible—easily one of the best things we had. Super flavorful and totally addictive. The entrées were overall strong. The steak frites came out perfectly—the steak was cooked just right and the truffle fries were crispy and full of flavor. The half oven roasted chicken was another standout; it was incredibly juicy and tender. The sides on that dish were a bit of a mixed bag—the whipped potatoes could’ve been smoother and the garlic spinach needed more seasoning, but it was still a very solid plate. Our server was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only dish that didn’t really wow us was the steak and eggs. It wasn’t terrible, but it just didn’t live up to the rest. The steak was a flap cut and felt like a lower quality cut compared to the others, and the eggs lacked seasoning. The potatoes were a bit bland, though the small salad that came with it was refreshing. Overall, a few small missteps, but the highs definitely outweighed the lows. I’d absolutely come back—especially for that street corn and roasted chicken!
Super busy with the Sunday brunch + lunch crowds, but service was not affected by any means. Server was attentive. Food came up in decent time considering how busy they were. Sat outside... But pick which side.. The front of restaurant is better than the side due to direct sun and narrow walkwalk. The chicken and waffle is excellent. Chicken is brined and very juicy. If you remember, ask for syrup on the side unless you like soggy waffle. Lamb mezeh plate is well spice overall. Meatballs were well seasoned, and the pita was grilled and has a charred flavor.
Food was ok. Didn’t have much flavor. The dinner menu didn’t look too exciting. We didn’t get breakfast… it’s cool it’s all day breakfast. Our waiter was nice and friendly. The restaurant is cool for a date night or lunchtime meal. The Bloody Mary and fried pickles were really good. The tuna tartare was pretty good. I’ve had better food at the same price point. I wasn’t wow’d by this spot but it wasn’t horrible. Wouldn’t be my 1st pick to go.
Lunch was good for everyone. Wish they didn't run out of the cinnamon roll that I was told is a must try. My lasagna was barely ok as it seemed old and dry after placed under the broiler to heat up.
Food looks better than it tasted. I tried the deviled eggs appetizer. There was no spice or flavor beyond straight egg. There was no deviled... I also had the steak and eggs for $25. Again, it was okay. I had to generously salt my entire plate. Atmosphere was trendy and upbeat. Food was a snooze.
We were given broken plates. Surprising consisted the price point of this establishment. Really, no restaurant should give their paying customers broken plates. We ordered two burgers. One medium well, one extra well done. Both came out pink. I told the server, all he did was show me in his notes that he added well done. He didn’t try to get it redone for me, bring the manager, ask if I want something different, or discount the burger only. I was only able to eat the outside of the burger. Our server was nice enough but could have resolved the burger issue. One positive, the pretzels are delicious with the cheese sauce.
I really wanted to like this place. The selection of food looked really good. Service was a bit slow, but it happens. Eventually one of the many managers got our server to come to the table. Everyone was very polite, so I can't complain about service. Floors were dirty and walls needed cleaning. The table ordered teds burger and chicken Caesar wrap. Burger came and was slopped together. It legit tasted like a fast food burger. Not a problem if I'm only paying a few bucks for the burger, but this place charges quite a bit. The only flavor the chicken Caesar wrap had was garlic. Manager did comp my meal, so that's nice, but also told me "we are known for this burger" and "well it's a Caesar wrap." I'm aware it has garlic on it, but it should have some semblance of another flavor. It's a shame really, I wanted to try a number of things on the menu.
Avoid if you desire gluten-free food. I know these types of allergens are hard to deal with sometimes, but when you say you can do it you need to honor it. Went there today and ordered a sandwich. They brought us fries that were in a shared Fryer. Ask them to correct it. All they did was take it to the back, wipe off the fries, and bring it back to us. But still, some fries remained on the sandwich. They didn't even bother to remake our meal To honor our allergen, and then the manager acts like, "Why are you upset?" Anyways, not a great way to start your birthday. Ted's is usually pretty good about honoring allergies, but this location totally missed the mark on our visit! They comp'ed the meal and we left without eating.
