What went right? Absolutely everything. The food itself was delicious, well-cooked, at the perfect temperature, and with the perfect texture. The taste was above ordinary, in fact, it's fair to say it was extraordinary. Now, let's discuss the service. Impeccable, courteous, attentive, and aware of our needs. What was most impressive was the teamwork of the serving staff and support staff. They have an unspoken unity. Everyone knew exactly what they were doing, and things worked in synchronization. The restaurant itself was immaculate, organized, and flowed perfectly, the lighting was perfect, and the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. It wasn't loud; you could hear others talking without any effort. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was well worth the price. It was a great experience.. Chima, job well done

I was at the bar last Friday night and my experience was amazing!!! They had a big party and still managed to be super attentive to me and my partner. Front desk staff, bar and managers are super sweet. Love this place and always will!!

I can not give this place enough praise. I made a reservation online, but needed to change the time from 4pm to a later time on Valentine's. I called in the evening Friday night, and the switched my reservation with no problem to later that evening. Once we arrived for our reservation, we checked in, and they apologized for the delay as they were setting up our table. So, as it's completely understandable, we decided to go to the bar. I got myself a rum and coke, my wife got a margarita, and ai also got a shot of top shelf rum. The margarita left a little to be desired as it was very basic, but the rum and coke was... well, kind of hard to mess that up, or make it super special. The top shelf rum was a good price, too. Those 3 drinks totaled about $55, with $18 being the top shelf rum. Not bad for a swanky restaurant bar. As soon as we got our drinks, our table was ready. They went out of their way to give us a 4 person table instead of a 2, saying that since this was our first time there and it was our first anniversary dinner (yes, we got married on Valentine's Day), they wanted to make sure it was memorable. They sat us right by one of the exits from the kitchen, so we were getting first dibs on the meat coming out. The waitress (is that the correct term in this case?) was amazing, making sure we had water and they were bringing out the cuts of meat we wanted. Even the salad bar The gentlemen carrying the meat were very attentive. I had ordered the "All the meat" option, and my wife got the Salad Bar + chicken. For $126 for the 2 of us on Valentine's, this was the fanciest thing we had ever done. And it was definitely an agreeable price. The meat was excellent. I could not get enough of the lamb or the teriyaki filet mignon. Even the salmon, of which I can't stand anything seafood or fish, I had to have a small 2nd piece of. The valet was $8, which I thought wasn't horrible. Between the drinks, meals, valet, and tips, we spent a total of around $225 for a swanky Valentine's / First Anniversary dinner. We could not be more happy. The only reason I didn't give a perfect 5 stars on everything was because of the underwhelming margarita. Outside of that? Well, let's just say I got some side eye from my wife because I couldn't shut up about how much I wanted to come back as soon as possible.

The food is really good. I feel that the meat is a little salty on some part. It does taste better on the inside slice however. There plenty of food here and so many varieties. Everyone that lives in the DMV area should try it once. The desert was very good, a little too sweet for me. This was a Birthday for my daughter and we had a great time. It does make memories.

The lead hostess (Alejandra?) was great. No table wait. Food was delicious. The atmosphere was sophisticated. Prices were very reasonable. An awesome dinning experience.

The service was excellent. Every steak that was brought out was very good. Surprisingly the best dish there was the grilled pineapple. The garlic steak is also very good too. I would recommend for a date night or birthday dinner.

I visited Chima Steakhouse in Tysons Corner, VA on April 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM (Table 17, Check #35). While the valet service was excellent and the food was good, the overall service experience was extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, I noticed an issue — the staff attempted to switch the wine I ordered for a different one, which felt like a deliberate scam. As our meal progressed, the service continued to decline. Although lunch ends at 3:00 PM, no one mentioned this upfront. Instead, the staff gradually stopped serving us and made us feel unwelcome through their attitude and behavior. It became so uncomfortable that no one even offered us dessert or asked if we’d like another bottle of wine. Instead, we were indirectly pressured and told in an aggressive, unprofessional tone that if we stayed, we’d have to pay extra for dinner. Our server, Ehab A. D., was particularly dismissive and unhelpful. It was a disappointing experience, especially for a restaurant with such a good reputation and premium pricing. However, to their credit, the Manager, Malak Farag, personally reached out to me to sincerely apologize for Ehab’s behavior and assured me that the issue would be addressed. As a business owner myself, I genuinely appreciated this gesture. It was handled with professionalism and care — exactly how a great manager should respond. Because of this, I plan to return to Chima Steakhouse this weekend or the next to see the improvements for myself. I value how they took the time to make things right. We recently took a large group to Chima for a celebration and I cannot speak highly enough about our sales manager, Michelle Q. Michelle anticipated all our needs and took care of all logistics. She even offered fantastic menu recommendations - we really loved the picanha, cajun ribeye, and grilled pineapple! Michelle really understands how to deliver a high quality experience and we will definitely be working with her again in the future.

We had an amazing experience at Chima Steakhouse, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Karas. From the moment we were seated, Karas was attentive, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent recommendations, kept everything flowing perfectly, and always checked in at just the right time without being intrusive. The service truly elevated our entire dining experience. If you’re dining at Chima, ask for Karas—you’ll be in great hands. Highly recommend!

Chima Restaurant was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, the food was perfectly prepared, and every bite was full of flavor. The selection and quality of the meats, along with the incredible salad bar, truly made this a memorable dining experience. What truly set the night apart, though, was our amazing server, Souad. She was attentive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout the entire meal. Her timing was perfect, her recommendations were spot on, and her warm personality elevated the whole experience. We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our return. Thank you to Chima and especially to Souad for such an exceptional evening. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Chima multiple times but this experience I could not leave without leaving a review. Will be back, thank you Karas for the wonderful experience.

Thank you so much for coordinating such an excellent event last night for our group of over 100 guests. Ehab, Daniel, Drew, and the entire team did a truly outstanding job. The new team member who was in training was also extremely considerate and eager to help—everyone’s service was impeccable from start to finish. We hosted a casino night as part of the event, and everything ran seamlessly. The drinks were excellent, and the meats were especially impressive. Several of our guests commented that it was the best they’ve ever had and loved the selection. We truly appreciate the hard work, professionalism, and attention to detail from everyone on your team and look forward to returning.

I recently hosted a dinner for 25 at Chima, planned just a week in advance and the experience was seamless from start to finish. Michelle, the catering director, made reserving the private dining room easy and stress free. The night of the event, our server Ehab was outstanding. He introduced himself, ensured the room and table set up were perfect and provided truly above and beyond service all evening. Drinks were attended to, dinner flowed smoothly and he even make sure everyone received their favorite steak cuts. The manager Malik was also wonderful. He checked in throughout the night, making the entire experience enjoyable. Huge thank you to Michelle, Ehab and Malik for making our company dinner party flawless and fun. We all left saying 'Wow' Chima's service truly stands out and sets them apart from the others!

My wife and I went to Chima this evening to have a little date night and we had the most wonderful experience. The food was exquisite and our server Ehab was extremely attentive and went out of his way to ensure we had the exact selections of meats and sides that we desired. His attention really elevated our experience. This is a special restaurant and we will definitely be back soon thanks to our recent experience.

We made an online reservation for our anniversary and were delighted how easy it was. They do have valet service for $5 that can be paid on your way out. We chose this option as we came to EAT. This place if often compared to Texas de Brazil and I can definitely see the comparison. I think we came on a very busy night were there were alot of large parties (tables of people not actually parties). Luckily we were only 2. We were sat close to the salad bar which was convenient, and enough out of the way were we weren’t surrounded by a lot of people. Our server was great and really hustled through the night (I wish I had her name). She was very attentive, cleared our tables quickly of plates and even brought us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Now for the gentlemen serving the meat: they were AMAZING!!! We speak Spanish so connecting with them was effortless. We joked a lot with them and they always asked if there was something specific we wanted and made sure we tried everything! They made us laugh the entire time. Overall a great time. I do however prefer Texas de Brazils salad bar as they have a little more variety of flavors and dishes to offer.

Beautiful atmosphere with a great vibe. However, around dinner time it was a bit noisy. I was just expecting a quieter night.

Chima in Tysons is a popular restaurant, and it can get crowded, especially during the weekend. Atmosphere - contemporary, open, and inviting Service - front desk staff is not as efficient as the back wait staff, while we were waiting to be seated, they were scrambling over the guest list and who has been seated and who has not, someone needs to train them better. The dining area wait staff were a different story. They were navigating the noisy and slightly chaotic tables filled with large families tables like a pro. Whenever we needed something, we could wave down any staff pass by and get what we needed, which is great. Value - pricey, about $70 per person for dinner on the weekend. Cocktails is about $20 per drink . given the quality of meats and nice selections of open salad bar items, it’s worth it…. A note to small stomach people like me, this is not meant for people like us, but I will still go for the good companies. Parking - There is a nearby parking garage with 2 hr free parking, which is about a couple of minutes’ walking distance. Also, limited street parking, just ensure you are not taking any of the residential parking spots. Do recommend. - By IG@WineDinenVacay
