Been too long since we have visited. NEVER disappointed with the food and the owners warm greetings are personal. We had the lamb burger (at the suggestion of Sam) and crab cakes and we were totally thrilled with everything. We will make sure to go back more often.

I can’t rave enough about this restaurant. Hapy team members are friendly, quick with service & the food was delicious. The entire meal experience was fantastic, start to finish. My husband ordered the gyro salad & it was the best he ever had. I ordered filet mignon kabob with grilled vegetables & mashed potatoes. The steak was tender, perfectly cooked & the vegetables were spiced to perfection. We are so “Hapy” we selected this wonderful location to celebrate my birthday. Hats off to the staff, chefs & Hapy team staff. We know where to go, when visiting Pismo - ❤️ this Hapy Grover Beach restaurant.

Exceptional experience ….from ambience to service to food. The decor is charming with a cozy patio / covered outdoor seating to relax in. We tried the crab cakes for appetizer. Lightly crusted with panko and full of flavor. Not to be missed ! We ordered the grilled salmon and chicken sheesh kabab for mains and both were delicious and in generous portions. Last and not the least, we got the chocolate cake for dessert and it was a pack of rich chocolate taste, moistness, not-too-sweet and decadence all at the same time ! The staff ate super friendly and make the experience better.

The Hopy Bistro exudes an upscale ambiance, complemented by an impressive selection of wine and craft beer. The staff is genuinely welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The lamb sandwich on olive bread is a standout, with succulent flavors that satisfy. The avgolemono soup is comforting, and the Cesar salad is a perfect balance of freshness and tang. The outdoor Bach part was reallt.nicez with TVs and cool vibes. This place truly delivers an exceptional dining experience.

We loved this place. Our server was excellent - memorized our entire order. The dishes are so flavorful my family couldn’t help taking bites from everybody’s plates to experience as much as we could. I’m excited to go back.

I was seated and offered to place a drink order while waiting for my takeout. The patio was busy! Large selection of beer and wine, and the servers were friendly. I got the swordfish and shrimp kabob with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Everything was absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend that dish!

Excellent pastrami sandwich. Beautiful Mediterranean ambiance. Many offers unique variations of standard fare. Love the capers in the salad. Also, the carrot cake is delish.

Oenophiles will rejoice, beer lovers will be hopy, along with cigar connoisseurs at this bistro. Casual interpretations of traditional and contemporary American- Mediterranean cuisine. In door, and patio dining. My favorite is to sit in the wine-beer bar area. Under the dark blue ceiling, twinkling with LED stars, and a occasional falling one. Enjoying such appetizers like, fried calamari, ahi tuna bruschetta, and Greek cheese sampler. My one complaint is the pale pink tasteless tomatoes they use. Great service, plenty of strip mall parking available.

The ambience is good and the place looks classy. The food I would say was ok and not mind blowing. It wasn't crowded when we arrived. We ordered a shawarma, oven roasted chicken bites, beer battered fish n chips and Shrimp Ceviche. Definitely lot of scope for improvement.

Walked in and it seemed very nice for a place in a strip mall. Ordered the Gyro Sandwich. The meat was mushy. My husband had ordered the same thing and his was not. I asked the waiter and he said it must be “cooked wrong”. I did not eat my meal. They tried to compensate with a free desert and taking that off the bill. The service was not good I had to go hunt for a salt shaker and the drinks were only refilled after we requested the bill. The waiter was charming but that does not make up for a bad meal with bad service.

This review is solely based on my to go order. The first impression was that one of my mains was missing its mashed potatoes, and there was no effort to contact me to see if there was any other side that could replace it. On another note, the chicken kabob that I ordered was super dry. For 60$ of to go food that has elements missing and with questionable taste, I suggest going elsewhere to eat.
