A tried and true local spot with great breakfast! You can't go wrong with anything, but I'm partial to the French toast and the scrambles. Everyone here is super friendly. A1 service 👌🏻
1st time Very very friendly Great food Priced right
Local breakfast Eatery that always seems to be crowded. A great place for friends to meet, contractors and seniors looking to catch up on what's going on in the area!
Paul's Country Kitchen serves hearty, homemade comfort food in a warm and welcoming setting. It's a great place to enjoy classic dishes that feel just like home.
I had a really good, friendly server. I had the spinach mushroom omelette with homemade salsa with potatoes and fruit on the side. and it was good. I'm thinking of bringing people here. Nice to still have mom & pop places and not chains.
Held a one on one work meeting here in the morning. Ordered the special firecracker omelette hash browns, and B&G. All food was delicious coffee was hot and was frequently refreshed but the excellent staff. Overall great experience. Will definitely be back.
The service here is top notch. The food is very good very tasty home style breakfast food that just soothes your soul. We sat down and within 2 minutes we had water coffee was offered and we got our menus. Within another 3 minutes or coffee was poured and refills throughout our visit were there before we even had to ask. When we ordered we probably waited four and a half minutes to 5 and 1/2 minutes in our food was on the table. Their eggs are great they're hash browns are super yummy. Highly recommend.
Brought my family here for late breakfast. Food was fantastic. Service was great. Almost felt like we were in a small town with kind folk. We are definitely coming back. A real gem. I almost didn't write this review because I wanted to be selfish and keep this great place on the down low.
Great vibe and delicious food... You won't go wrong with starting out your weekend morning here!!
Very good food. The service is some of the best I’ve ever seen( and I brought my dog). The atmosphere outside is not to bland and not to decorative. If you are in the area you should definitely check it out. 5 stars!
I have been there twice with my family for breakfast. Oh my God was the pumpkin pancake delicious!! The apple sausages are also super good. This is a super breakfast place!!!
Update: The menu has changed and the price has gone up, but the same great taste and great service! I don't usually comment on fries because there is nothing special. But the side fries was soooooo good. So crunchy and fresh. Hamburger was super juicy. So eat it fast or you will have a soggy bottom bun. Breakfast burrito was so good with a big portion. The waitresses are treating their customers like families. Great food! Great people! We love this place so much!!

Great meals and the best pancakes in town, along gas station type coffee and amazing customer service!
Paul’s Country Kitchen is an absolute gem when it comes to breakfast spots. This charming, family-owned restaurant offers everything you could want from a classic American diner—and more. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It’s clear that the staff truly cares about their customers, and the service reflects the kind of hospitality you can only get at a family-run business. The food is outstanding. Whether you’re craving fluffy pancakes with a generous pat of butter, rich and creamy biscuits and gravy, or a hearty plate of eggs, bacon, and crispy hash browns, Paul’s Country Kitchen delivers with both flavor and portion size. Everything tastes homemade, and you can tell it’s prepared with love and attention to detail. One of the things I appreciate most is the consistency—every visit is just as good as the last. The menu has a great variety, and there’s something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a light breakfast or a big, satisfying meal. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. If you’re looking for a cozy, reliable spot to enjoy a delicious breakfast with friends or family, I can’t recommend Paul’s Country Kitchen enough. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back again and again. A true local treasure!
Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in years! Highlights: - The bacon sprinkled on my biscuits and gravy! - The warm syrup for the pancakes. - Friendly amazing service I hate purple onions. - And an off hook, chicken fried steak!
My husband and I needed to kill time while waiting for a friend and I googled “restaurants near me”; this was not the first/only restaurant but it was the only one that caught our attention. We wanted to go somewhere small and cozy, great food at great prices, with an atmosphere and staff who are friendly and upbeat…This checked all our boxes! Every member of the staff(young and young-at-heart) were delightful! It’s been our experience that you “take in what you dish out”(pun intended). I’ve personally never felt more cozy in any other restaurant! The moment we walked through their literally open doors I caught smiles and positive energy from both staff and guests. It was noisy like most restaurants during breakfast time but not inappropriately noisy. You could tell the conversation was low key and respectful. The crowd was primarily older adults which I assume are probably regulars. The decor was very country American and even the bathroom was comfortable to be in. It was clean and tidy. Most importantly….The FOOD was delicious! I ordered the Tijuana scramble with hash browns and a side of homemade biscuits. My husband got the mushroom burger with fries. I can’t speak for his burger(though he did rave about it) but I was very satisfied with my choice. Everything tasted fresh and the eggs were moist and not overcooked. Loved the veggies mixed in and the roasted corn salsa gave that extra bit of flavor (without the heat). The biscuits rivaled my mom’s biscuits and with a little butter they were perfection! The ladies there were awesome and checked on us long after we’d finished our meal even just to chat. We both had such a memorable experience and can’t wait to go back!
I have not been to this place in years. (TWO SISTERS) Today I ordered my usual from when I did come here every Wednesday with my Grandfather and it's was just as delicious as I remember! Definitely come here and enjoy the comfort of home and the great hospitality!
Okay so my boyfriend wanted some real good chicken fried steak.. after a Fullerton Buzz reply to his question on a good place that would have this, we decided to come and try and let me say it was the best! Food had lots of flavor. A lot of food served on our plates that I had to tap out of how full I was lol. I had the Meatlovers omelette and my boyfriend obviously had the chicken fried steak. Theresa, the owner definitely such a lovely lady..very dte and very friendly. I loved how it was very home like environment. This place has great cooks ready to prepare some delicious food. You know what is the best it a family owned restaurant! We also met Tina, Theresa’s niece also friendly. Definitely will be coming back!
Great food and service. They also serve lunch for those that don’t want breakfast food in the morning.
Amazing dinner. Love the small town feel this place give me. Real food!!!! So cozy <3 I love getting the veggie scramble ($15) I get my gma the big boy lumberjack ($18) Cinnamon roll is also very good PUMPKIN PANCAKE SEASON
This place is right up our alley! Great food, great service, great Patriotism! Like stepping out of California and into a state that still feels like America. From the American Flags out front to the Patriotism and hospitality from the staff, Paul's Country Kitchen is the perfect way to start your day, and this place was packed!
This Down Home Country place so good that it would make your Grandmother Jealous..no Joke, the service is good and the food was awesome. It is a dog friendly place on the patio area..Good for the whole family and reasonable prices.

I've been going here for 30 years. It feels like its the 1990s in there. I love it. Nothing ever changes.
My mom brought me here as a kid, now I bring my favorite people here. The food is great the servers are super cool and the atmosphere reminds me of an old school American home.
Very friendly staff. Such a cozy restaurant Great prices, great food. I love this place

Stopped in this little gem for breakfast. I asked about the specials and the waitress was very helpful and kind. I had the blueberry pancakes eggs and bacon. Everything tasted good. Coffee was kept warm service was great.
Excellent, friendly, efficient service. Typical, dated greasy spoon atmosphere and decor. Food was just average. Chicken Fried Steak was okay... but, something about the hashbrowns was off-putting. Bitter tasting. I didn’t finish them.
Despite being cramped, Paul's is a great place to get breakfast. The service is always phenomenal and the food is great. My only food complaint is that the maple syrup literally tastes like nothing.
We've been coming here mostly on Sunday. For what ever reason this time, I had to reevaluate our score. My; Dr. Bob omelette was over cooked and the hash browns were very dry. Asked for dry toast, it came loaded with butter. That, I sent back as for the rest it was edible. Not their usual good quality. I'll be back and look forward to their taste fine breakfast! Hopefully, raising the score.
Food was good. My FIL said it was the best scramble he ever had.
Home cooked breakfast with a cozy neighborhood feel. Breakfast was delightful and came out has described in the menu. The breakfast sandwich truly was delicious and brought back memories of Christmas morning and Grandma making these delicious morning sandwiches. The French toast tasted great too served witharge pieces of bacon. There are daily breakfast specials not listed on the menu but noted on a blackboard outside. The ambiance has a hometown neighborly feel. It seems that many regulars visit this cafe. During our visit we noticed the cafe can fill up quickly. There are a few booths for a more private feel. The are plenty of outside seating but if it is too cold in the morning, then I suggest to arrive early. Service was quick and friendly. Coffee was always at the ready just to keep the mug warm. The location seemed very clean. Servers bussed the tables quick to allow new patrons to sit and enjoy. The price is somewhat similar to what you would expect typical franchise eateries. However, the taste of the food, the service and neighborhood feel makes up for the difference.
Food was delicious. A perfect American breakfast restaurant. Great for brunch. It a usually busy, a little wait time. Soon table gets cleared. Service is quite cool.
Quaint charm. Bustling with breakfast/brunch crowd. The fare that they serve is simple, delicious and good quality. We had the chorizo omlette and tuna melt alongwith a si gle pancake. The chorizo omlette was one of the best ones we have had in a long time. Lots of flavor and not heavy and Grease laden like one finds many a time. The tuna melt was crispy and not too much mayo...enjoyed it. The fries were hot and crunchy. The star of the meal ended being the pancake. Something different in their batter that made it much more delicious. Appreciate our server agreeing to switch the toast with a pancake. We had a good lunch and would recommend you to definitely try them out.
Visited this spot for the first time for my birthday Sunday breakfast. Everyone in my group thoroughly enjoyed their food...we will definitely go again.
Looking for an old school mom and pop food spot. This is one to check out in the area. Food is reasonable price, portions are great and the servers when not super busy take the time to make you feel welcome.

Great food and service but the old plywood table tops are sticky and grimey and need to be replaced or deep cleaned. We've also noted a recent change in the food. The may be a new recipe for the biscuits (they are not as soft) and the corn beef hash is not as flavorful or tender.
Racism!!! Don’t go here if you are a person of color many choices in the area. Our names were crossed off the waitlist as “others” were greeted and sat. Spoke up and then left. We ended up a JULEP less than a mile away, received great service and amazing food.
The food was ok, I guess, but not worth the hefty price. If your hankerin' for a side of sausage........it's gonna cost ya! Plenty. The place is really crowded and I'm still trying to figure out why.
