What an amazing meal! Happened upon Iavarone in search for a dinner spot. Remembered the name from the Italian shop growing up in Glen Cove. Happily surprised and thoroughly full. Recommend the short ribs, chicken parm and Caesar salad. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am staying in the area at least once a month and this is the place I always go to for dinner. The staff is very friendly and always watching to ensure my drinks are not empty. I have tried many things on the menu and each one is just as good as before. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We came to Iavarone Italian Kitchen on a Saturday night and it was a great birthday meal. Hector our server was very nice! For the restaurant being packed, the food came out quickly and prices were very fair for everything. We had a wide variety of appetizers, drinks, entrees and desserts, and everything was very good. Plus the bread was delicious. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!

Vito and his team are absolutely amazing! Every visit feels special because of their warm hospitality and dedication to great food. Vito puts his heart into crafting his specialty pizza for our family, and it’s always a masterpiece! Iavarone Kitchen was the perfect venue for our son’s baptism lunch. The space itself is light, airy, and beautiful, creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely exceptional – not only was it incredibly delicious, but the family style apps, buffet and cake portions were generous and more than enough for our group of a little over 40 people. But what truly sets Iavarone Kitchen apart is the outstanding service. Our servers Michael and Yeimi were incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Multiple guests came up to us to tell us how fast, kind and attentive they were to each and every person in attendance. They checked in with us throughout the party and even wrapped up the extra food for us at the end which was so appreciated. The staff’s flexibility in allowing us to come in early to decorate was also invaluable, and their warm and friendly demeanor made the entire experience even more special. We can’t thank Iavarone Kitchen enough for making our son’s baptism lunch such a memorable occasion.

My family has been getting our Thanksgiving turkey from their butcher on Grand Avenue for decades and this was my first time going to their restaurant. Very kind staff and a beautiful space. The food is delicious. This is the second best chicken scarpariello I've ever had (after Don Pepe's). The bartender makes a great Manhattan! I'm looking forward to going here with my family at some point.

A local pizza spot with plenty of seating and an authentic long island Italian pizza experience. The food was good and came out relatively quickly, the service was professional and prompt, and you can't complain about a great negroni! Fairly low key, but the food was fresh and executed well. They have some interesting items like the Long Island specialty of fried pasta cake, which is actually delicious and not like you'd expect. The pastas are good and the shrimp and octopus were delicious. We sat on the back patio which was a little more casual, it's fully enclosed and warm. In the restaurant is a great atmosphere with the pizza oven burning oven in the background. Parking can be a little tight so make sure to get there a couple minutes early.

I really enjoyed the pizza quality, which is not too thick or thin. Great flavors. I would recommend ordering fresh pie rather than a reheat. Order the wings did not enjoy as they were simply too plain.

I met my best friend for restaurant week this past Wednesday, January 28 and I ordered the Caesar salad the chicken Caprese and the rainbow cake. I have to say I was disappointed. The salad was not fresh Romain lettuce. It was bagged lettuce and you were able to see the quality and the chicken cutlet did not have any flavor. Then when we ordered our dessert, it took over 20 minutes. I’m not sure why, but we waited a while. We didn’t mind waiting because we were catching up, but I was disappointed because I have gone to the restaurant in the past, and the food was flavorful. I’m not sure if it was because we ordered from the restaurant week menu, but I was disappointed.

Convenient if you live close by. Not a must go. Expensive fir a relatively limited menu. The clams in my linguini were the size of my thumb nail and a few werent even hot. The chicken dishes were ok and the pork chop was good. Service was ‘serviceable’. Much better choices locally.

The rack of lamb was not great covered in weird sauce and not tender at all. chicken was ok not great. baked clams covered in dry bread crumbs. Service was so lacking i practically had to chase the waitress over the floor ti get anything. only attention was from nice bus boys.

Went to have lunch with my husband, 10 month old at around 2pm on a Friday afternoon. My husband was carrying him in his arms. We walked in and was seated quickly. No high chair was offered. We had to wait 5 mins for our waitress to come by and ask her for a high chair. Waitress never introduced herself. No idea what her name is. We placed our order and she disappeared for 15 mins. (The place was empty except one other table with 4 guests) I flagged a busboy and asked for table bread to keep my son busy. Waitress finally came over with our bread (felt like microwaved lukewarm) and left again. Another 10 mins and our food arrived. The food was very salty. And serving size was average. The chicken in the chicken scarpariello was so dry it was hard to eat. The sauce had a lot of tart tangy lemony flavor which wasn’t bad.. just salty. We also ordered the pappardelle bolognese and that was average at best. The bread was the only tasty thing… I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
