Nice restaurant chain in Texas for Mediterranean buffet. The options have no end and good for vegetarian too. We went to this outlet once and this one is more busy then other outlets . Options too are more then other places. Recently ordered as delivery and it was fresh with good portion.

Great place to dine in with friends or family. Tried many Mediterranean dishes and the food was good. I loved the fried chicken (red fried) regular hummus, spinach hummus and felfel was so good very crispy on the outside and soft flavorful inside. The desserts were good too. Their Baklava was the best flakiest tastiest I had ever had so far. And we got a box to go for another friend of ours to try. They charged very less per piece for to go. The person who packed baklava was very sweet and generous.

I've been looking since as long as I can remember for a Mediterranean buffet. Dimassi's did an awesome job of showing me that it was possible. I tried almost everything in the place and honestly it was delicious. I'd order it even if it wasn't at a buffet.

Bust a move in here for the many meaty delights (chicken breast chunks and fried legs, beef kebab, lamb shank and gyro oh boy!! Sleeper hit is the “mini pita” which is pillow soft and so delicious!

This is my go to buffet place! They have a variety and they do have seasonal additions to their menu. Always something for someone, kids and adults both can enjoy here.

We called to order some beef kabob to go. They were absolutely so nice while ordering. When we got there they had already made the kabobs fresh out of the kitchen. We always go eat here for Mediterranean nights and I can definitely say after 2 years of going here they never disappoint! So delicious thank you!!!

This Dimassi's Restaurant in Plano is by far one of the best. My wife and i have eaten at many of there locations and this one is great. Middle eastern food of a large selection of meats from chicken, beef and of course the lamb shank on the weekend, Hummus, Salads and fresh pita bread from a brick oven right there on site, with a really nice selection of deserts as well. We go at least once a week because of the quality and cleanliness of this Buffet in this restaurant. Top notch run by the management and staff. We truly thank you every time we eat at there.

So. Much. Delicious. Food. It's a tradition for me and one of my best friends to visit a few times a year and spend hours catching up and enjoying great food. I like that they have staples that you will find every time you visit, and they also have new items to try. I skipped most of the carbs, but all the meat items I tried were perfectly done, tender and flavorful. I like the variety of baklava and desserts as well. Their rice pudding is so good. Not all the labels were correct but that's really not a big deal to me. Will continue to return to this location.

My husband and I were in the area when I looked up restaurants near me. Why haven't I seen this place before!?!!?? You can see when you walk in that it's a very clean place due to the open floor plan which I like very much. The smell of the food immediately made me hungrier. The selection of food with all the fixings was delicious. Not one thing I ate was disappointing and in my opinion it was actually the best I've ever had compared to other places I've eaten. After our meal I was happy to indulge in a little dessert as well. The mint lemonade I had with my meal was delicious and refreshing. The chai with my dessert was a heavenly finish. I can't wait to share my experience with the family and I look forward to visiting again soon.

This is always my go-to buffet when running errands on the weekends. Try to get there early to avoid the rush. The food has always been top notch and don't skip out on the refreshing rose water drink. Also keep in mind Friday after 4pm and the weekend the price per person does go up.

Dimassis is a all buffet Mediterranean food place. Lunch price is the cheapest up until 4pm Monday through Friday. After 4pm the price goes to dinner price and comes with a Lamb Shank on request. Saturdays and Sundays are the higher price all day and holidays are the higher price. You can ask for a Lamb Shank when you pay the higher price. So ask for one. They are well worth it. They are not part of the cheaper lunch price. You have a wide assortment of proteins and vegetables. Salads and Humus. Dips and drinks like soda, coffee and tea. Deserts are fruit and rice pudding and other assorted Mediterranean delights. I dine here often because it is all you can eat. So that is all I eat for the day. Stopping the Fast Food eating and doing this allowed me to lose weight from 209 high down to 153 low. Now I stay around 160. Honestly the food is amazing and everything is freshly prepared daily. Nothing is just bought from Costco or a store. You can eat by yourself or as a couple or as a group or throw parties of any kind. We are a regular at Demassi’s. The food is always fresh and a great variety. The best part is that it is a large restaurant - so everyone is spaced out and you don’t have to rush because someone is waiting for a table. They have a great salad and hummus bar, as well! If you love meat - this is your place to be! If you’re unable to dine in, they have a buffet to go per lb offer. After work outs, I often come here to get my protein fix to go.

Been to this place a couple of times now. They have a buffet system and lots of options in Veg and Non-veg. It's worth every penny. Even if you are a vegetarian or a vegan you will be able to fill yourself pretty well. They have a variety of salad options and falafels, humus pita bread and dessert too. The place has indoor seating arrangements and usually runs busy but you will find a place to sit. The place is clean and hygienic. They can do a better job in keeping the bathrooms clean. Overall a good experience I definitely recommend it.

This place is incredibly delicious! I wish I would have known about it sooner in my life! I got to the front door and the gentleman taking payment was really nice and happy, which means a lot to me. The buffet is set up wonderfully to where you’re not crowded next to other people as you are choosing your delicacies. So worth the money!!! The food is fresh and delicious. They have a HUGE selection of vegetarian and vegan food. The falafel is absolutely delicious- it crumbles in your month and isn’t dry like other restaurants. They have a lot of humus options and meats but I didn’t try the latter. The soda is crisp and the rose water is very yummy too. The whole meal is so healthy and filling. We pigged out. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

I went on a Sunday for lunch. It was busy but we didn’t have to wait. The buffet had a pretty good bit of variety. I tried to get a little of everything. That is what’s great about a buffet… exploring new types of foods! They kept the buffet very clean and they removed plates very quickly when you were done. They are adhering to Covid19 by offering gloves when serving yourself on buffet. Masks are not required but preferred. Price includes unlimited refills on food and drink. Clean restrooms. Super nice spot for a Mediterranean buffet. Lots of vegetarian options which is awesome. Once you get in, you pay and then eat and drink all you want. Believe alchohol is not allowed and available within but they have soda drinks and a few other Mediterranean drinks available. This place is a buffet only place (I believe), so is self-service. It is a little overpriced at $21 (during the weekend) but it is what it is - the food is good! There is enough indoor seating and they also have additional outdoor seating but with the sweltering heat, best is the sit in. I personally don’t eat meat, so my opinion is based on the vegetarian food!

But anyway, coming to the food, I am giving it a 4 star cause being a Bangladeshi, I eat a lot more spicy & thicker foods. But this was also good, specially the rice with the chicken. This restaurant (and type of food) was my first to try buffet style. It did not disappoint. The food was varied and unique for an American palate. I'm a fan of hummus, and the avocado flavored one was exceptional. The various rice options was a surprise as I tried all of them and recommend the beef flavored one. The most interesting drink was a rose flavor which was unique to me as having lived in China where I had rose tea and rose mooncakes. The service was not necessarily friendly, but all were extremely polite. The clientel is heavily Middle Eastern, so if you're identifiably American, expect to be starred at as my group of four were. Lastly, try this experience...you won't regret it! The weekend buffet was around $25/person.

Some dishes stood out more than others the hummus was creamy and well-seasoned and the salads were fresh and crisp. However, a few of the hot dishes lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for and some items felt a bit overcooked or under-seasoned. The desserts were a nice touch especially if you have a sweet tooth. The restaurant was clean and well-organized. Really expensive for what you get. For $20+ per person for a buffet I would expect more variety, that being said, the food itself is really good. So maybe go if you want to try or are craving Mediterranean cuisine, but not exactly a week night dinner.

Food is temperature is inconsistent, most of the time on the cold side vs hot. Desserts are not my fav but good buffet option for those who like it. Hosts are always nice & accommodating.

The taste is quite good, and I really enjoy their fried fish and a white briyani. My boyfriend prefers Mediterranean cuisine, so we often come here. Since it's a buffet, we always end up eating a lot, haha, but we get hungry again quickly after eating 😢.

Good variety and cold items such as salads and humus looked and tasted fresh. The fresh pitas were amazing and protein choices were good. Went during the weekend and the place was busting but only one person working the registers and ensuring that the protein choices were stocked. The lamb shanks are behind the counter and you need to ask for them. There is no sign or indication on how to get them until I saw someone going with a plate to the register to get one. Not sure if it was because the person was over worked being the only one tending the front of the restaurant but he wasn’t too approachable.

Enjoyed the variety the first time. Been there twice since, food wasn’t as good. Turkish coffee replaced with cinnamon tea — not so good.

I might have given this place 5 stars, but it’s definitely not hygienic. The plates and bowls were not clean. They close at 9 PM and we went there around 8:30 PM, so they were about to shut down. The guy at the counter told us we only had half an hour and we said that was fine. They have a large buffet, and the food was excellent we really loved it. I personally love Mediterranean food it’s one of my favorites. But I was shocked to see a guy taking food with his bare hands, without gloves, and eating dessert right in front of me while touching everything around. I was watching him and he clearly didn’t care. That really put me off. I left my plate and told my friends I was too disappointed to continue. This place seriously needs to take better care of hygiene. I like the food here, but this experience was very disappointing this time!!!!

I was at your restaurant the plano one, on Preston, behind the Home goods Ir said lunch was $17.99. I gave the guy $20.00. Didn't get any change back. Maybe you should put $17.99 without tax. Also, maybe a nice smile would be appreciated.

Extremely upset about the place and didn’t find it worth for $17 bucks. This place is not worth the hype! Only dish which I liked out of the buffer was freshly baked pita bread. They had different varieties of hummus and all of them were horrible and taste sour.

Not impressed at all. Decent spread of options and I tried about 75% of what was available. Everything tasted very bland and flavorless. Nothing was impressive and the only thing that my husband and I truly enjoyed was the coconut cake and rice pudding. At $25 a person this place was nothing but underwhelming and overpriced. I don’t recommend this place unfortunately.

We are regular customers at Dimassi's and have visited many of their locations recently. This location is also pretty similar with a wide selection of salads and main course items as well as some desserts and drinks. However, our last visit was one of the worst we have had anywhere. They have ice cream behind the counter which the lady (behind main counter) refused to give it to us stating that they no longer had it. However, when we asked another guy, he instantly gave it to us. Then another friend of mine went and same thing happened with him as well as with his wife and his son. It was really unfortunate to see such a rude behavior, however the other staff was friendly and served us well. We complained and hope that such an episode doesn't happen with anyone else in future.

Food was not hot enough. Some were at room temperatura or too dry. The floor was slippery and the dishes still had food stain on them. Food and cleaniness not a priority. I wouldn't recommend this location. I went to others Dimassi restaurants and they are much better.

As others have mentioned, there’s a middle-aged guy that people need to be aware of before visiting this place. He made me feel like I was begging just to get a lamb shank, and his overall demeanor and responses were unnecessarily rude. Having visited Dimassi multiple times in the past, I don’t think I’ll be stepping into one again.

Really iffy quality food. Some days I come in and the food is great and other days like today, the food is dry and overcooked. Took a picture of the Gyros and the outer crust is basically black and it’s so dry to eat. That carries onto the beef kabob and chicken kabob shanks. Worst of all is the lamb shanks being dry and hard as a rock despite the sauce on it. For a food locked away and needing to be requested, it’s really a disappointment. Also the cashier was rude and blew my dad and I off when asking for the lamb shanks, y’know the food that’s inaccessible. My dad wanted to start out on the lamb shanks and they weren’t ready until we were almost done with our meal. Terrible experience.

We really hoped to enjoy this restaurant but unfortunately we did not. The meats were dry and tough, and a lot of the buffet seemed to have been sitting for a while.

Worse experience of my life with my family. They had no sign that there are privet party going on. Music was way too loud. When I told manager that you should have sign that there is a privet party. His answer was there are no privet party even though they have speaker set up. I would not recommend this place at all. Food is great as usual but I wish they would have sign.

This place was a complete disappointment. The so-called Mediterranean buffet had very little variety, the food was dry and tasteless, and the rice was terrible. Instead of offering real quality dishes, they filled the buffet with 10 different kinds of hummus. The stuffed grape leaves were clearly store-bought and not freshly made. For the high price, the value is awful. Save your money – I do not recommend anyone to come here.”

One of the worst buffets I’ve been to. Very little variety, most of the food was bland and dry, and the rice was awful. The so-called Mediterranean spread was basically just hummus in different flavors, with nothing authentic or fresh. Even the grape leaves were from a package. Completely overpriced for what they offer. Avoid this place at all costs.

Terrible experience. The buffet was extremely limited and the few options they had were dry and flavorless. They call it Mediterranean, but it was just piles of hummus and cheap, packaged grape leaves. Nothing tasted fresh, and the quality did not match the high price. Definitely not worth it – I strongly advise against wasting your time or money here.

I regret choosing this place for Iftar. It was a Sunday evening and my first visit, and while the restaurant was crowded, management seemed unprepared and made little effort to help guests break their fast comfortably. Worse part; they charged adults $25.99 each and kids $10.99 each for Ramadan, which was higher than their normal weekend dinner rate and there was nothing noticeably special for the extra dollars. Ramadan is a season of celebration and kindness. Most halal restaurants I’ve visited during iftar take extra care of their fasting guests, which made this experience feel unwelcome. Food? Wasn’t bad. Loved their kebabs but that was the only thing we enjoyed. Other meats were average at best. I ask myself whether the buffet experience was worth the price? Unfortunately, I don’t see myself or my family going there again.

I used to really enjoy coming here, but unfortunately the food quality has gone noticeably downhill. The last few times I visited, the meals were inconsistent, poorly prepared, and nowhere near as fresh or flavorful as they used to be. It feels like the attention to detail and pride in the food just isn’t there anymore. I kept giving it another chance hoping it was just an off day, but it now seems like this is the new normal. I really hope they take feedback seriously and work on improving the quality because this place used to be great.

Went with family, cashier wasn’t excited to see us, except wanted to swipe credit card. Well anyway we were family of 4. 2 kids and 2 adults. The food was not all tasty and the kids didn’t eat any food either . Had to pay 87$ and walked off with nothing to feed . Hopefully won’t be back here. Not a big fan of this place. Sorry team
