North Italia is fantastic - excellent, lively location with beautiful outdoor seating near the fountain. The food tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. We tried the Chef’s Board (Farmer’s Market) and loved how simple yet high-quality the ingredients were. The white truffle garlic bread was also very good. Service was friendly. It does get crowded on weekends, but it’s a great spot for a date. Convenient parking garage nearby. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at North Italia for the first time, and Kaila was my server. Her energy and humor were truly delightful, and she provided exceptional service. I began my meal with the spinach and sausage soup, accompanied by toasted bread. With Kaila's helpful recommendation, I chose the Bistro Steak and Eggs, opting for the Crispy Hash Potatoes instead of the Calabrian Potato Hash. The steak was cooked to perfection. I thoroughly enjoyed combining the remaining ingredients on the toast. To conclude my meal, I selected my favorite dessert, the Tiramisu, which was absolutely delicious. I certainly look forward to returning.
All around, a delicious time was had! Went for my friends birthday dinner celebration. The entire restaurant was very busy and vibrant. Our waitress Brandon was super awesome and full of fun! Even though the restaurant was so busy, we were well attended to. For starters we had this white truffle garlic bread OMG 🤤 it was incredible! You have to try it. I ordered the lasagna and it was DELICIOUS. They had very delicious alcohol free drinks as well. For dessert we had the maple glazed bombollini donuts...SO. GOOD!!!! 🏆 every single thing we ordered was super delicious & the vibes were great. Will be coming back!
Super-friendly service and excellent dishes, nicely presented. Had the winter salad with salmon and a fun gingerbread-flavored dessert. Sat on the patio, which is climate-controlled and enclosed, but does get a bit breezy next to the door. Recommend sitting inside.
This is one of my new favorite spots. We stopped in for lunch while Christmas shopping and sat at the bar around after they had just opened at 11 am. Mallory took such great care of us by giving us recommendations on cocktails and lunch items. I had the Caesar salad with salmon entree (lunch combo) great deal too ($25 lunch combos add 5 for salmon). That's the best Caesar salad I've had in a long time!
Attended a dinner with office colleagues. Nice ambience. Good food. I think a bit of the price is due to the location. The upscale legacy location drives the price up a bit. Nonetheless the food is very good. I had the braided short rib as the entree, and it was excellent. One fine touch was the way they gradually dimmed the lights as the evening progressed.
North Italia is your destination for authentic Italian flavor is Legacy West! The food here is bursting with flavor, presented in an amazing way, and comes to your table eventually. The interior is stylish and modern in its design, with an open air feel and bright lighting, which makes it quite the opposite of your typical dim, overly crowded, and stuffy Italian restaurant. I work in Legacy West and have been here 3 times total. Each time I am with a large group of 10+ people. Every time I have gone, my dish either comes out late or not at all because I have to cancel it and go back to work. The wait staff is very compassionate and apologetic, shout out to Lexi who was the very best! They cannot help the kitchen missed the order, or forgot to make it and has to rush it out. It just makes for an awkward experience when the whole table is eating and you're just sitting there. Then your entree comes out 20 minutes late and half your party has gone back to work and you end up eating by yourself or with some empathetic coworkers who stayed behind to make you not feel so bad. It is an awesome spot, and I'd highly recommended it. That said, I haven't had the best luck with my meals coming out on time, or at all.
Very good Italian place. Great food. Good wine list. Ambience could be a little more upscale for the prices. Recommend the eggplant Parmesan appetizer and truffle bread. The tortellini is also very good.
Wonderful experience! Alon was the very best server. Kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. We had the most delicious pasta and made space for the Nutella dessert. We also enjoyed our drinks! Hugo and Aperol Spritz our favorite. We’ll be back. Loved patio seating!

We celebrated our 51st anniversary at North Italia in Plano last night. Good to Open Table to make your reservation. We walked right in and were seated promptly. We celebrated my wife's 75th birthday at North Italia tonight and it was great! She enjoyed a glass of wine and I had a house Margarita with salt. Both were very good.
Our lunch at North Italia was an absolute delight! The atmosphere was fantastic, with a lively and warm buzz that made us feel good. The service was truly exceptional; our server was a total pro, expertly guiding us through the wine list and even recommending the perfect pairing for our meal. And the food? It was as delicious as it was beautiful. Each dish was crafted with care and presented wonderfully. For anyone craving authentic Italian food, this place is a must-visit!
I’ve been to this place numerous times, so I’m a bit late to write this review. The ambiance is incredible, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Reservations are highly recommended, as the place gets busy quickly even on weekdays. They have a great selection of food items, and some of my favorites are on the menu. They also have a decent wine collection.
North Italia is one of our favorite chain Italian spots in DFW. We often go for brunch and it never disappoints. We haven't had anything there that we didn't like and the service is wonderful. I can't recommend the white truffle garlic bread enough. I would go there just for that! This time I also had the bolognese which is the house specialty. It was excellent! My husband had the chicken pesto and loved it as well. We were seated in the back right by the windows to the kitchen. I loved watching them prepare the pizzas and entrees. I trust a restaurant more when they have an open kitchen. We could see all the ingredients and brands they used and everything was top notch.

The Marghrita pizza is good and speaking of pizzas you should also try the pastas they are exellent and you can sit outside so you should try it.
Food is great. As authentic as they come in US. Desert could have been better. Service was good. Bruschetta and White truffle Garlic bread was great. Loved the fungi pizza. Just get some meat on it. Great place to get a refreshing cocktail or a light lunch, or have lunch if that is your preference. I stopped by for a late lunch yesterday and I loved the environment. The interior decor is welcoming and warming. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I sat at the bar which had comfy seats. The female bartender wearing the black shirt was great. She had been working there since 8am but still managed to put a smile on her face. I ordered the salmon and replaced the pasta with vegetables. The vegetables were well seasoned and buttered. The salmon was good but a little dry. It didn’t come with any type of sauce or even a lemon. One thing I did notice also was that the female host was a little dismissive and unwelcoming. I remember walking in and the first thing she said to me was “can I help?”. Of course this is not how you should welcome guests into your restaurant. Overall, though I wouldn’t mind coming back to this place. They do have a great atmosphere.

She made sure to offer drinks, appetizers and entrees separately. She was on time for refills on drinks. The food was well cooked and tasted wonderful. I suggest the lasagna and spicy rigattoni. I've frequented North Italia multiple times before with friends, with family, but never have I had such a mixed experience. For context, I wanted to take my mother out on a nice outing, so we came here to Legacy North Italia. The waitress at the front greeted us kindly and we chose a seat at an outdoor table. Now, here's where the pleasant beginning took a turn. For around 30-40 minutes, we were left waiting for drinks. Not even the food. Just the drinks. No waiter/waitress came out to speak with us during this time until the MANAGER herself came out to applogize and tell us a waiter would be with us soon. Finally, our waiter arrived, and with him, excellent service. Demetrist was attentive, had a quick eye to catch what we needed, and friendly. But again, after he took our order, it took another 20-30 minutes for the food to arrive which totaled our wait time to more than an hour. And when the food did arrive, it wasn't Demetrist who served us our food, but another waitress who tossed the plates on the table in a very crude manner, leaving immediately without even handing us our rolled silverware. I was astounded. Did she expect us to eat with hands??? We called after her three times to no response or acknowledgement. It was only until Demetrist, who was nearby, noticed and gave us our utensils. It was simply ridiculous and almost put a damper on our date. Negatives aside, the food and atmosphere was amazing. My mother got the Hot Honey & Smoked Prosciutto which was nicely baked, the prosciutto not too stringy or tough which we love North Italia for. I got the Strozzapreti, and it was creamy, rich in taste, and just balanced in flavor for it not to be too heavy or greasy. All in all, I sincerely hope the service improves as I still hold North Italia in high regards in terms of food and atmosphere. I will be dining here again looking forward to any changes and will update!

This place used to be decently priced for the amount of food you would get. Last night I returned for dinner for the first time in about 10 months. I ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, the pasta vodka and one spritz. My bill was $70. This is the pasta that was brought out to me. It was 90% noodles and sauce. Tiny tiny pieces of meat at the very bottom of the bowl even though the ingredients state sausages. I feel as though this place is extremely overpriced now. The quality of the food has changed and to spend $70 for noodles and 3 meatballs is actually crazy in this economy. I will not be returning.
