The fastest, most efficient drive thru I’ve ever been through. We were staying at a hotel and were looking for dinner and landed on this place. We ordered the taco platters as it was taco Tuesday and definitely weren’t disappointed. The portions were good sized and while I found the meat a tad bland (my kid was very happy about this) they provided salsa, so that made up for it. It was quite the deal and if we are in the area again I would definitely go back.
There BEEF FAJITA. To put it appropriately, yes. Absolute BEST. Service ? BEST. Tortilla ? BEST. Words can not express. I have been coming here for quite some time now . Rosa’s cafe is a gem. Def get your money worth. They do family take out , take advantage of that for those who meal prep. Highly recommend . Highly . Also, folks are friendly . Welcome to all. Interior is inviting . Overall, 10/10. I forget to take photos of the food. Had to devour it first .
Fast but not like fast food. I really like #14 beef. I get two of those and a small chips and queso.
Our family loves Taco Tuesday at Rosa’s Cafe!
First time at Rosa's Cafe, I was attended quickly and friendly. Food was great.
Good for tex mex. Wish the salse was hotter. The staff was nice and restaurant was clean and quit.
My favorite breakfast tacos in all of DFW. I’m from San Antonio so my breakfast taco bar is extremely high. In the 11 years of living in Dallas, nothing holds a candle to Rosa’s. I will literally drive half an hour there and half an hour back for two tacos on a Sunday morning. Why don’t you have any locations in the city limits? All hail Rosa’s.
This was my first trip to Rosa's so the format was a bit unexpected. Once we figured out our order (with the cashier's assistance) we found a seat. We received our order quickly and everything was correct. The food was good because we were hungry. I will say, two of us ate well for the price you'd pay at any other fancy sit down Mexican restaurant.
Great place for quick and good TexMex. The food is reasonably priced and the service is what's great.
As always, Rosa’s Café and Tortilla Factory doesn’t disappoint. The food is cooked to order, fresh, flavorful, and filling! It was a good spot to hit for lunch after being out and about all morning. The chips are the BEST! The salsa is excellent, and the chile rellano is my go to! Good food at a great price! 10/10 highly recommend!
Rosa’s is amazing. Beginning with by far the best tortillas I have ever had. Next, their condiment bar is always fresh and clean. You get your food quickly. With their number system, there’s never any doubt as to when or if your food is ready. They get the orders out fast. It’s a casual environment where you can have a nice dinner and conversation, but still have some peace of mind that if your kids go ballistic, you won’t bother people as much as a normal restaurant. Since you already paid, it’s easy to haul those kids out of there asap if you need to. All of their food tastes great, but the taco dinner and burrito platter are my most common orders. You can get a 12 pack of burritos and have them for lunch all week. Their queso and salsa are perfect. Rare that a restaurant hits top marks in all categories like this. Can’t recommend them enough!
First visit was dine in dinner. Then I went back the next morning for breakfast tacos in the drive thru. Oh how I wish they served breakfast tacos at night. They'd knock Whataburger taquitos outta the park. No offense to Whataburger taquitos..they're just a different breed. Great service and food. If you've never been, it's a must! Yummy 😋
One of our favorite places for lunch and dinner. Great food, good prices, fun atmosphere. And the warm, fresh tortillas they make just can't be beat! The staff are always friendly, and don't balk at modifications to your order. The portions are generous--you won't leave hungry--but not so large that you feel compelled to overeat and feel ill.
I took my friend there today to eat since he has never ate at Rosa's Cafe before. He said that he enjoyed it and he liked the atmosphere and that he would come back again and the food was great I feel the same way and I have been to your cafe many times before! Keep doing what you're always of doing making everything great!
This place is the BEST for fast food tacos or even tortillas for the house... Been too many times to count in too many locations. Chips and queso are "meh", but their salsa bar and everything else is fantastic!!! Pork chili Verde is outstanding... I usually get their crispy beef tacos (their picadillo beef is AWESOME and so clean tasting!!!) , a smothered burrito, or the #14 (fajita queso burrito) with steak. Amazing! I think you can skip the margaritas... Tastes like Cuervo is used. Desserts are fantastic as well. I'll be back... Hundreds of more times.
Nice restaurant at a nice & calm location. I love the Hispanic design they have it’s lovely 😊 with flowers 🌸 and multicolors 🌺 Tasty food and amazing customer service Big thanks for 👍🌺( Genle ) 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ she say that she is new but she is very polite and helpful we need people like this and the manager of this restaurant welcomed me warmly and offered some of the great options that they have on the menu and they all turned out to be absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place for every one ,it’s an amazing place where you could have a good time with your friends too.
Upon entrance it gives you a fast food feel vs a sit down and dine feeling. We were going to leave but decided to go back in. Best decision ever!! The food was good, reasonably priced, quick service. I loved everything about it. The queso bowl with the beef and the tortillas....😋😋😋 The drinks were fresh and they have "Sonic" ice.
I placed an online order and by mistake I said that I needed the catering order a week from when I actually did. When I showed up to the restaurant the staff were so understanding and were able to quickly get me my order anyways. I was so appreciative of all their help and quick work!
Today was my first time at Rosa's Cafe & Tortilla Factory and the food was scrumptious! Very nice displays, had an appealing view and the atmosphere of people seemed happy. The Staff were nice and the food was served at a reasonable time. Also, loved how they had a condiment bar with a huge variety to pick from.
It's a very nice place for Mexican lovers. Also , a single dish is very very heavy so if you are 3 people, take 2 orders only. The extras sauce are awesome and worst to taste. The prices are also decent and you can be happily full in just 20 to 30 bucks. The best part about this restaurant is its surrounding . You will feel like you have entered in the heaven full of varieties. So a must try place for everyone.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. I placed an order with substitutions and changes...they did everything possible to make sure my to go order was exactly what I needed. The inside is beautiful with authentic Mexican decor. Food is delicious. 5 stars!! Please give me a thumbs up if you like my review ~*~ thanks.
Rosa's Café is good for chain Tex-Mex food. Decent service, fresh tortillas, great deals for Taco Tuesday. This location has plenty of tables to sit, but the place is not very clean. Service is either very quick or very slow, not enough staff working. Small parking lot. The chicken enchiladas are good.
The food is really good for the price & portion, don't bother with that other "Taco Place" across the street that I won't say the name of. Coffee is cheap & pretty darn good, and bottled beer is also available inside. Very speedy service with quality!
Rosa’s Café is officially added to my morning rotation. The breakfast tacos were made fast, fresh, and just the way a morning bite should be. Warm tortillas, well-seasoned fillings, and everything put together with care even during the early rush. It’s the kind of quick, tasty breakfast that actually helps start the day on the right foot. Service was friendly and efficient, and the line moved quicker than I expected. The place feels welcoming, and you can tell the staff knows how to handle the morning crowd without sacrificing quality. I’ll be stopping by again for sure, and I’d recommend Rosa’s to anyone looking for a solid, reliable breakfast spot with great tacos and fast service.
Typical tex-mex joint with familiar menu items. The line was long but the food came out fast! Tables and salsa bar area were very clean and tidy.
Rosa’s Café & Tortilla Factory is hands down one of the best spots for Tex-Mex comfort food. Taco Tuesday is unbeatable – the portions are generous, the tortillas taste freshly made, and the tacos are full of flavor without being overpriced. It’s easily one of the best weekday deals around. The salsa bar is another highlight. They have several different salsas to choose from, ranging from mild and tangy to spicy and bold, so you can always mix it up depending on your mood. Everything tastes fresh and perfectly complements the tacos, fajitas, or whatever else you order. And you can’t forget the drinks – the Rosa’s Fanta is amazing! It has that extra kick of flavor that pairs perfectly with the food and makes the whole meal feel special. Overall, Rosa’s is consistent, tasty, and affordable. Definitely worth stopping by, especially on a Tuesday! 🌮
Rosa’s Café & Tortilla Factory hit the spot! I went with the beef fajita taco bowl, fresh, flavorful, and packed just right. My husband had the beef tacos and didn’t waste a single crumb. But let’s talk about the real MVP… those fresh, hot flour tortillas. Soft, fluffy, and begging for a swipe of butter. Honestly, I could make a whole meal out of just those tortillas and be perfectly happy.
We just tried Rosa’s for breakfast and it is by far the best bang for your buck in town. Full plate meals with eggs, beans, potatoes a protein and freshly made flour tortillas for between $6 to $9. Fresh and delicious with a fantastic salsa bar and super friendly staff and a clean and inviting large dining area. Don’t sleep on this spot for a hardy and delicious breakfast
This is one of my spots I go when I haven’t eaten and need something quick that I know I’ll love. I’ve joked with my boyfriend that they could give me anything off of the menu and I’d enjoy it. The drive through is my main way of ordering and every time I have a phenomenal experience. They are always so kind and the food is always hot and fresh.
I recently came to Texas and so far I'm loving it with every passing day. We went to this vibrant Mexican place and I think they serve the best Mexican food in town. I have never seen this colourful restaurant with such lively vibes. We had veggie tacos, nachos with guac and a veggie burrito plate with unlimited salsa dips at a reasonable price.
I don't know what kept me for so many years from checking this place out. It was lovely. Smelled great when walking inside, the decor is fitting for a Mexican American cuisine theme. The food itself was great. I'd recommend the salsa verde over the rest of the pace flavored red salsas. Tortillas (as they should be!) were terrific. Flavoring on the fajita meat was delicious. I would absolutely return!
Fun fun fun! A Mexican restaurant circus of food. The place looks complicated, but you order over at the left and pick it up when the women call your number. Lots of seating. Best part each meal comes with two fresh flour tortillas and there are tons of honey-bears waiting to sweeten the tortillas.
Went with a group of co-workers for a late dinner. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and got the food out quickly. A couple of us had frozen margaritas which were more of a frozen slushy, I think someone forgot to add the tequila that night, but it was hot so the having cold drink was refreshing.
Food was ok but the biggest issue was the price . Beef fajita taco is $6.09 each. For a couple small pieces of meat and nothing else. Chicken was just as bad $5.09 . Taste was ok . Food came out fast and the restaurant was clean.
Kids were running around, while a drill was being used as we ate our food. 10/10 on family atmosphere authenticity.
It's not the same as the original location in thw outskirts of Dallas Uptown/OakLawn, but it retains enough of the classic charm to be an inciting family gathering spot.
The food is very good! The service is fast, the staff is friendly, and it is budget friendly. I like their taco bowls and their crispy tacos. 4 stars because the sopapillas were not crispy. They were almost an uncooked tortilla with cinnamon sugar which is not quite what I was expecting. I asked them to remake it crispier so they would actually be puffy 😊
We like Rosa's and stop by to take home breakfast tacos frequently. The past few times, the bean and cheese tacos lacked in content. Hopefully, you'll look into this.
I was taken here for breakfast and it was real good. I had the Huevos Rancheros, but the eggs are not over easy, but scrambled and it was still good, along with the potatoes and refried beans. The flour Tortillas were so good and made fresh. The Atmosphere was so nice and clean. I will go back.
Food is good especially the fresh tortillas they make at a decent price. Ambiance is nice & tropical. Good value meal!
It was been a long while since I’ve had Rosa’s cafe and it did bring back some good memories. Overall, I think the food is pretty decent quality for the price. I really like the taco salad. The chicken you can get with it pairs very well and is about $7 currently. Got some tacos too and they were fine/good. Could have had more flavor but they were $3.19 per crunchy taco which I feel is a tad on the higher side. Getting close to Fuzzy/Torchy territory but pretty far off on flavor. Cheese enchilada was decent too. The cheese does cool pretty quickly so it’ll become a harder chunk of cheese. In short, not a bad spot to get some quick nicer Mexican fast food. (Has drive through too or a nice clean inside)
I did not have an issue with food and prices until I orded a chicken burrito off the individual menu. I paid $5 & some change for this burrito that looks like a taco from taco cabana. So disappointed. That was suppose to be for lunch now I have to buy something else, so sad!!!!!! Stay away from individual burrito!!!!!!! Look how small, it's just as big as the handles on a Dr.Pepper box!!!!! O and questions tasted a little weird. Other wise everything else was good!!!!!!
Food is way overpriced for very average Tex Mex. Huge disappointment for my wife and I. We definitely will not return.
While the food is always good; the kid at the drive-thru might short change you! Count your dollars b4 driving off.
I honestly don't know why this place has a 4* rating. Food is mediocre at best and service the same depending on whom you are. They use baking powder in their tortillas and the salsa has no flavor just spice dont get me started on the fillings of the tacos if any. I've tried dine in twice before and we were ignored on the most part both times. Anyway, you get what you pay for!
For LUNCH, it cost me $18.84 for TWO fajita tacos, rice and beans and a regular sized drink. Way over priced. So not worth it.
You are paying same as if you went to a nice sit down place. Food smelled good and tasted ok but not remarkable. The experience is somewhere between school cafeteria and a fast food Mexican place. It a colorful seating area and the salsa bar was reasonablely clean and well stocked, but load and seating the kind that encourages you to not linger.
The venue is fantastic, it seems that you have entered into a mexican Disneyland, so colorful so cozy. The first issue was the shock to realize that the service is like a fast food restaurant and not a regular restaurant where you are seated and order from a menu. They display their dishes on huge colorful pictures altogether with the name of the dish, however this wasn't very helpful because the cashier confused our order of "fajita fiesta combo" with "fiesta salad combo". It was probably the hugest bowl of shredded lettuce i have ever seen on my entire life and the most expensive i have ever paid. I cannot stress enough how disappointed we are for having a salad instead of what we were aiming to get. Whilst they have "Tortilla factory" on their name, we didn't see a single tortilla on our visit, and BTW who would like to eat tortillas with shredded lettuce? IMHO they should immediately rename their dishes so their cashiers cannot confuse "fajita fiesta combo" with "fiesta salad combo". Update: We returned the next day to have our "fajita fiesta combo". They naming many items on their menu after "fiesta" is definitively an issue, because our order was about to be misplaced again even if you pin point the picture to the cashier, it seems that it's difficult for them to choose on their system which "fiesta" you actually want. Why you don't name items after something else like "pachanga", "jolgorio", "juerga" or "guateque" to avoid confusions? Coming back to the "fajita fiesta combo", it was great and we were finally able to meet their delicious floor tortillas.
Sorry folks. We've tried this place 3 times(to be fair) but it's just not good. Tastes like it's all out of a can. The people are very nice and tortillas are good but that's it. My grandkids and other people I know say that love it and that's ok but I just don't see the attraction.
the tacos we got today had no seasoning in the meat straight up ground beef cooked no pepper ,salt no taco seasoning or anything the most plain beef tacos i ever gotten from them
The place looks nice, but the food is nowhere near authentic Mexican cuisine. Honestly, the only thing I could stomach was their beef fajita taco salad — the rest was a complete joke. Trust me, if you're looking for true Mexican classics, this is not the place. Save yourself the disappointment and run!
M-m-MID! Food was okay but not for the price. Not authentic. If you are used to eating real Tex-Mexican 100% would not recommend. No complimentary chips/salsa OR tortillas!! Very disappointing.
I ordered chips and queso, a taco salad and a beef burrito. I asked for mild salsa and he said yes we have mild. The red salsa they gave to me was too spicy. It’s more like medium but definitely not mild. The chips and queso is overpriced but good. The burrito was too small and so I asked for a refund. This location has been hit or miss on the attitude of the employees, the consistency of food portions as well as quality of the food.
First try is off to a bad start. Got there 6:30 am. Being the first and only customer there, we were just ignored. The order taker who finally came quickly got impatient answering menu questions. Tables wiped but not clean. Sausage egg plate is inexpensive but portion is ample,. Coffee is not competitive with other fast food chains.
I picked up two steak burritos that were supposed to be with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. When I came back home, it was just steak and maybe half a scoop at that‼️ I will give this place one more chance since I've heard good things from some people. If it disappoints again, I will give it one star next time‼️
Yelled at me and my son while ordering. Completely disrespectful and apparently racist…. Unfortunate we eat here 2 times a week and my company caters with them Once a month but we will no longer come to Rosas or have them cater. Really miss Places like Tochitos. Family owed and knew there customers.
I hadnt been to a Rosa's in almaot 3 years becsuse they have just gone downhill. This was the first one I had ever been to so I thought I would try going back. Big mistake! First they were out of taco meat at 7 p.m., so I had to order 2 beef tacos and one chicken taco (they had enough beef for 2 tacos only and not 3). Then I ordered sopapillas. They charged me for them and when I went to get my food they were not there. I then asked for them and the guy said he would be back with them. 5 minutes later I still did not have them. When I asked again, I was told their machine to make sopapillas was broken. They offered me two cakes that I could not eat instead and when I said I could not eat them, they told me to go to the front and get a refund for them. So it was a horrible experience and the tacos I did get were mediocre anyway. Never will I go back to a Rosa's. There are way better mexican restaurants in the area who can cook food properly that tastes good and who can take accurate orders and are not out of stock on simple foods.
First and last time I eat Rosa's...tacos had no flavor. Ordered the loaded breakfast tacos..salsa wasn't good , also no flavor.. Definitely not impressed, the speed of the drive through seemed more important than the quality of the breakfast...
I saw other reviews talking about the manager Jose and I have to agree. When I got home and there was no salsa in my order (after being told at the drive thru I did not need to order it because it came free) I called and spoke to Jose. He stated that since salsa is free, I didn’t miss out on anything I paid for. He refused to apologize. I’ve actually never had an experience with a manager like this before, I’m shocked. Safe to say I won’t be spending my money at this location ever again.
Had my husband pick up tacos for taco Tuesday. My tacos were cold and I was charge $12 when online it says $7. He said that the food was out quickly but he was rushed by the drive through worker and she was not interested in his questions regarding the deal. I’d get a refund before I’d go there again.
Had a very bad experience with this RosasCafe today, mainly with the Chorizo & Potato Tacos, which was 95% to 99% loaded with potato and few mustard sizes of Chorizo's only. This clearly tells that both quality and service of food here have gone bad to worst. I have already provided feedback to this restaurant manager on this, so they could correct this from happening again.
The manager (Aris) is simply the worst part in the story. The picture in the screen shows a perfect enchiladas dish, but what’s delivered is miles away from what’s expected. See the pics for comparison. Number 4 is what I ordered and the picture shows what they delivered. But that’s not why this place earns my one star review. It’s the management’s team manners and attitude what really leaves much to be desired. Arrogant, rude, full of cynical remarks is what comes out of the managers’ mouths. Not willing to listen, no empathy for customers or even able to understand something’s wrong with their deceitful sales practices. Aris (he said he was the manager first), Eliel (another self proclaimed manager)with the same manners although the name of the “manager on duty in the establishment was portrayed as Elizabeth Sanchez. Corporate has to intervene and do something down there. Never coming back.
I ordered two fajita’s paid $43.But portion of meat was very small compared to large amount of rice, onion and. Green peppers.Normally Chips comes with a meal yet they charged me extra for chips as well.I don’t mind paying extra if the food quality and portions are good. I was disappointed.I would recommend trying more Authentic maxican restaurant instead wasting your money here.
horrible experience. chick in the drive through is high as a kite and cant remember an order when im the only one in line? not to mention they are apparently out of like everything. staying away from this rosas. they still got my order wrong after saying it 4 times 😐
I just ordered a combo fiesta salad with extra beef and extra chicken. I thought it was pretty crappy that I had to pay full price for both “extras” when I felt pretty sure they would “split the difference” since it was a Combo meat. But I didn’t say anything… maybe they’ll actually give me a good amount of extra, I thought. $23 for a salad AND THEY DIDNT GIVE ME ANY EXTRA MEAT!!! Neither the chicken nor the beef. I’m furious.
