From the minute you walk in the staff makes you feel special. The decor is cowboy and warm. I had the Prime Rib, Cesar salad and fries. They were all fabulous and well worth the price which is reasonable for what I had. The portion was large so I’ll have the rest of my meal today.

Good service and price. The little bread they offered when we got seated was so fresh and delicious. The steak was cheap but with good quality. Their side dishes were big and I liked every single of them. They just know how to do the business to make the customers happy. Will visit again.

Seriously the best food I've eaten so much flavor it was all delicious we had a little bump were the chicken came out a bit raw but the manager was amazing and brought us a new one and it was just simply deliciously amazing! The waitress whitney was super nice and even suggested some foods since we were new to the place, all in all the place was amazing, the food was amazing, and the workers were amazing, my family and I will definitely be coming back here to eat again!

Faster than fast food no wait times between servings of food fantastic experience everyone was so fast and friendly almost at capacity when we were eating so great job. First time back at Texas Roadhouse since the beginning of the pandemic. They have definitely upped their game. I've always had issues with the temps of my steak (I ask for medium and get medium-well, sometimes even well done), but this time it was cooked to perfection! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn't have WiFi to acces the App without using data.

The service was great. We enjoyed the food. It was cooked the way we ordered it. The wait to be seated this evening was long due to many customers at the restaurant. The large volume of customers slowed down kitchen, which our server told us once we were seated. Over all a good dinner.

Good place to eat a good quality steak. The side dishes portions are regular size but the fries are awesome. The bread served at the beginning is kind of sweet and have a distinctive flavour.

Staff is very energetic and enthusiastic respectant when signing to highlight special occasions (customer's birthday, etc). Service rating reduced from five to four stars as a recent visit to the restaurant required us to ask for cutlery and one fork was missing within the napkin/cloth handed over by staff which required us to ask for additional assistance.

Update: Dec 2024. Customer service is awesome and the food continues to satisfy. Our latest dinner was with a very attentive guy named Darren and the Manager came by to make sure we were taken care of too. The bone in rib eye, mashed potatoes and buttered corn is delicious . Ribs are some of the best and the filet medallions were very good too. The string beans has bacon in them and were a bit overcooked but were good too. The homemade rolls with cinnamon butter are always soft and warm. And you cannot beat the unlimited peanuts... Great food, awesome customer service. When we travel to the US from Canada we make it a point to stop here to have one of their delicious ribeye steaks. We love that they have a butcher on staff and that you can eat as many peanuts as you want and throw them around. Their sides are traditional and just complement the cut of meat that they feed you. We love the ambience and the staff is perfectly attentive and the pricing is decent too. Warning! If you have a peanut allergy don’t even walk in the front door.

First time eating here , the service was great and my meal (smothered chicken) was delicious and so was their famous buns & cinnamon butter, but we also ordered the fried pickles they were a bit too salty in my opinion and the cactus blossom which was alright. Awesome steakhouse about 15 minutes from the border. We went on a Friday and the wait to be seated was 30-45 minutes. The house bread had a hint of sweetness, served with cinnamon butter, it tasted like a less sweet version of cinnamon roll. For appetizer, we had a mix plate of fried pickles, boneless wings, and fried jalapenos balls that were stuffed with cheese. It was a bit salty but it tasted great with drinks. For mains, we had grilled sirloin and ribs with baked potatoes and sweet potatoes. Everything was perfectly cooked. The sweet potato was baked into a creamy texture, so delicious. The ribs had a smokey flavour. YUMM. Highly recommended. Note that they serve peanuts so avoid if you have peanut allergies.

It was my first experience but my husband’s second. I absolutely loved it! We did not reserve. We decided to drive down from Montréal on a Saturday to do a bit of shopping and my husband hoped they’d have space to greet is. We arrived around 17:30 and got on their website to get on the waitlist. Estimated wait time was 25-35 mins. We got our table in 30 mins. Our waitress Megan was genuinely friendly and courteous. The service made us feel at home, like we’re locals. I’m already thinking of returning. The decor was cozy, simple, but also super interesting. There were all kinds animal figurines, “hunter/fisher” prizes on wooden plates hanging throughout the place. Adds ambiance to the experience. And the food! Let’s start with those homemade fresh out of the oven buns and that sinful dip we just couldn’t get enough of. I’m mouthwatering just thinking about them. Had their signature margarita. I was pleasantly, they most definitely know how to make a good margarita, plus it had a nice kick to it. My husband had their steak fries with prime-rib, medium rare. It was so tender and so juicy. I had their full slab of ribs with a loaded baked potato. The meat just fell off the bones with the perfect amount of fat. We were too full for dessert. But definitely next time. Planning to return very soon. Can’t wait!

Texas Roadhouse was an absolute 10 out of 5 stars for us! We came in late for dinner, so they had run out of prime rib, but I ended up getting the medallions, and I was not disappointed. These perfectly cooked, juicy balls of meat on a bed of rice were incredible! Every bite was amazing. We also tried the rib eye, which was fantastic, and the ribs were tender and flavorful. The chili was decent, and the blooming onion could have been better, but overall, the food was spot on. Everything we had was delicious, and the presentation was just as impressive. The staff went above and beyond, helping us find something we had lost even though they were closing. Texas Roadhouse is a must-visit!

Texas themed restaurant. Our server Maddy was great. They give you fresh baked in house rolls to start. I had the steak salad. My steak was delicious but a bit too much dressing on the salad. My partner had the chicken fried steak and buttered corn which he liked, but found a bit salty. I liked this place and would recommend.

For the price tag, this is hard to beat. The service was fast and kind. The portions were generous and the bread basket with the cinnamon butter is a welcome addition. The decor and the music makes it a great experience. Constructive note: I found that the Cactus Blossom is nice in theory but so deep fried that it's hard to enjoy it to the end.

This was my first experience at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant and though I was a bit overwhelmed at first by the boisterous atmosphere I quickly got to enjoy it. I arrived early, around 5pm and after a short wait ( they don't take reservations), was seated at a pleasant little booth ( I was by myself). Within the next 20 minutes the restaurant filled up and the waiting line grew. I had a very nice and accommodating waiter named Daniel. Texas Roadhouse is part of a large chain with many restaurants. It's mainly a steak house but as any self respecting American restaurant it also offers some fish and seafood, pastas and burgers of course. There's a short list of low to mid-level wines, beers and cocktails, with an emphasis on margaritas and from what I saw at tables around me, they're huge and very popular. The steaks : They offer several different cuts ( you can see them displayed in a glass case at the front of the restaurant) and at several different sizes, from 12 oz. to à whopping 24 oz. I opted for a Dallas style 12 oz. sirloin, medium rare. There's an extensive appetizer list but you get 2 sides with your steak and that was enough for me. I had a Cesar salad and fries with my steak. I also ordered a Sauvignon blanc with the salad and a Cabernet Sauvignon with the steak. Both wines were very good and priced at around $8.50. The salad was very fresh but the taste was very mediocre, partly because of a bland but overly imitation garlic flavor and a tasteless parmesan cheese. Not at all bad but not great. The steak arrived quickly and when I cut into it I discovered that it had been overcook. I mentioned it to the waiter and he was very apologetic and said he would change it. A manager then arrived to apologize as well and said she would take care of everything. I have never received such prompt and courteous service before. Within a few minutes a new steak arrived, done to perfection! The 12 oz. size looked much bigger than that and it was perfect for me. The flavor was excellent and the meat was well marbled and tender. For $25 I thought it was a steal! All the steaks are reasonably priced here I found. The fries were bland, that's all I can say about them. But I came here for the steak and I was very satisfied. If you don't mind a loud restaurant with country music, sports on televisions and the occasional dancing and singing waiters, this is a good place for a tasty and reasonably priced meal. The staff is pleasant and willing to please. A great place for families, a noisy date or just going by yourself like I did.

I just did a round-trip Montreal/Plattsburg to eat there cinamon butter and warm little bread. I was craving it and it didnt disappoint ! Everything was fatty, buttery and delicious !

The food is always great but the menu never changes, nothing new gets added but you'll always know what to expect. It's very loud between the *country* music and chatter so I always take Excedrin before I go. Their rolls are so good, steaks and prime rib are great. I always have enough leftovers for lunch the next day. The waiting area setup is a little awkward, the check in is right as you walk in, so it restricts flow of people coming and going and the waiting area is too small.

[Food isn't as good in the sense that the meat is usually overcooked] I usually ask for medium rare but I always end up with a medium. It isn't an issue when I eat in the restaurant.

I usually prefer to write reviews after multiple visits, but this occasion was special. My son chose this restaurant to celebrate his graduation, so off we went. I called ahead to let them know we'd be bringing a large party of 14. They were happy to accommodate us but asked that I call back later in the evening due to other large groups already being served. I did, and our reservation was confirmed. We arrived at the time we were given but ended up waiting about 45 minutes. To complicate things, our party unexpectedly grew by 5 people. Despite this, the staff managed to seat 14 of us first and then the remaining 5 about 20 minutes later, which we appreciated given the circumstances. The staff was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and genuinely did their best to make our experience enjoyable. Although the space was a bit tight (especially with a large group), the warm atmosphere and excellent service made up for it. Most importantly, my son had a wonderful time, which was all that really mattered to me. Would I recommend this place for large parties? It depends. If you don’t mind being a little cramped in exchange for great service, then absolutely. If space is a priority, you might want to consider other options. All in all, it was a memorable night and a great celebration.

Texas Roadhouse is a typical steakhouse restaurant with different cuts of steaks available, ribs and hamburgers. I ordered the steak sirloin and ribs. The steak was delicious; the tenderness and taste was as expected. The ribs are a bit overcooked in my opinion. But it is advertised as « fall of the bones », and the taste was ok. The other meal ordered is a country fryer sirloin steak. Again the taste and tenderness was up to the standards but the presentation was a bit sloppy, like most of the plates served. The side dishes were ok. The chili tasted like canned chili. The service was quick.

The line dancing super entertaining the fresh bread rolls with cinnamon butter are just WOW!!!! ... however.. last time I visited Texas Roadhouse was probably about 5 years ago.. and the freshness of the food has gone down a little over time.. my steak was overdone and kind of looked like it had been pre-made... they have huge lineups of people so I can understand why they would make food in advance.. my baked potato was cold the cesar salad barely had sauce they made my drink wrong.. and we waited 1h30 minutes to get a table. The waitresses compensated for the food issue but still I was a little dissapointed but will go back again for sure anyway lol

Solo diner here, which can be hard to seat and you often wait while they figure out what to do with you. But not here, service was friendly and prompt, the food was great, and it was a nice time.

We love this restaurant, but there are a couple of issues. Allergy-friendly options are limited, especially for gluten, egg, and dairy restrictions. Also, managers push staff to move constantly, creating a tense atmosphere. A bit more calm would make it even better.

Came in to get takeout and found there was an area specifically designated for takeout, but it was awkward and odd. The person took our order in a perfunctory way. There were several servers hanging around, of none of which seemed interested in serving anyone. There was a strong vibe of trying to do the minimum required. The food was good, although it seemed they were relying on quantity rather than quality. I suppose it’s a bargain if you bring home enough food for two additional meals.

Hit or miss when it comes to Texas Roadhouse. Their dinner rolls are great especially that cinnamon butter. I ordered a ribeye medium temperature. The waitress showed a picture of medium to confirm. When I got my ribeye, it was not only over cooked (well done at this point) but also burnt. The kicker was that it was a manager who brought out the food so she clearly saw the burnt steak and still decided it was okay to give to a customer. How did she think serving burnt steak was acceptable? I let the waitress know how the steak was over cooked and burnt and after speaking with a manager said they will replace it. She said I could still keep the steak if I wanted since they were just going to throw it out, even suggesting I could give it to my dog. I declined that offer as I wouldn’t give that to anyone human or animal. The replacement was much better in quality of the cut and temperature.

My med sirloin steak was burnt! It took 30 minutes for another one to come by that point we were done eating so they boxed it up. I was given NO compensation for it . Totally ruined our dinner.

Here’s a clear and firm negative review in English: ⸻ I arrived on Saturday at 4:04 PM and checked in at the reception. I was told the wait time would be 30 to 40 minutes, which was totally fine. No problem — we were prepared to wait. However, we ended up waiting exactly 58 minutes before being called to the “on deck” area. After that, we waited another 20 minutes there with no updates. I went to speak with the host, but he didn’t seem to care or take the situation seriously. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, I complained again — and suddenly we were seated immediately at a table that had clearly been ready and clean for quite some time. Now it’s exactly 6:19 PM and our main dishes still haven’t arrived. We are a group of three adults and three children, so this kind of delay is especially frustrating. Poor organization, lack of communication, and very disappointing service overall. I really hope management improves their system because this experience was far from acceptable.

Title: Incredible food, but the initial service was a complete disaster. Thank goodness for the owner, Matt. We drove two and a half hours from Canada for this meal, and the food was truly excellent. However, our initial experience with the service was extremely disappointing. Our server, Gabriella, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Despite telling her it was our first time and we needed a moment to look at the menu, she pressured our party of seven to order within six minutes. Under this stress, we didn't even get a chance to order the cocktails we wanted and simply ordered beer to speed things up. Before we had even finished our last bites, she dropped the receipt on our table. She also didn't bother to ask if we wanted separate checks for our two families, giving us one bill we had to ask her to correct. It felt like she was just trying to rush us out the door to seat more customers. When I left a 6% tip, hoping to convey our dissatisfaction, Gabriella gave us a terrible attitude. She made strange gestures and talked to a colleague while pointing at me. She then came back to our table and, in front of everyone, loudly announced, "Here's your receipt with the 6% tip," which felt like an attempt to embarrass me. I went to speak with a manager, Jessica, who was just as unhelpful. She smiled and laughed while I was explaining what happened, showing absolutely no concern. She also told me she was the highest manager and that there was no one else I could speak to. Thankfully, the owner, Matt, came out to help. He was a complete professional—a true businessman who clearly values his customers. He listened to every detail, agreed with my points, and assured me he would handle the issue with his staff. He not only apologized but also generously refunded half of our $143 bill. His actions completely changed our perspective and made a bad situation right. It's a shame that employees like Gabriella and Jessica could damage the reputation of such a good restaurant. We will definitely come back for the great food, but only because of Matt's intervention..

Rolls were not warm, onion blossom looked and tasted like it had been cooked earlier than recooked, baked potato was barely warm, bacon on cheeseburger was barely cooked. Terrible meal.

I’m not one to leave reviews often but we called in advance to assure there was room to seat a large party. We were advised it wouldn’t be a problem and to come on in. Once we got there, we were sat at separate tables. Normally this would be fine but the party was grieving over a recent family loss and wanted to be close together. The waitress/ possible manager came over after we moved the tables together and stated we couldn’t have them together due to a fire hazard (understandable). We kindly asked to be moved due to the restaurant practically being empty. The waitress rolled her eyes and began calling us rude. At this point the entire table felt uncomfortable and decided to leave. We ultimately ended up at the Butcher Block and were welcomed by and treated very well. It should be noted that the Butcher Block had more people and they still managed to find a way to get us at one table. Butcher Block is just a short drive down the road.

My steak was burnt. It took 25 minutes to get another. We were done eating at that point and I was still charged for it.
