¡La mejor birria en Playa del Carmen! Si estás buscando un caldito de birria sabroso, con sus garbanzos, cebolla con cilantro y su carne deliciosa, ésta es la opción. Si eres de los que quiere su caldito, pero también tus tacos, te pueden vender media orden de caldo que te sirven con unas deliciosas tortillitas calentadas en el juguito de la birria y te echas tus taquitos dorados para completar la experiencia, si eres de buen diente pídete el caldo completo y prueba los deliciosos tacos dorados (tienen con queso y naturales, también tacos suaves) ¡Que cosa tan exquisita! Las salsas son de lo mejor, tienen salsa macha, salsa con habanero, salsa de cacahuate, si corres con suerte: nopalitos y cebollita encurtida. Nos vamos satisfechas y felices, el servicio eficiente y atento. Prueben su flan, también es delicioso y casero 😋. Calidad y precio justo 👌🏼 Clientas de por vida, definitivamente. Gracias por su atención a los detalles y hacer con tanto amor la cocina y servicio a sus comensales, felicidades ☺️.
Sinceramente, empezaré desde que llegué al lugar, note que llega bastante gente a comer por lo que si uno tiene hambre debe llegar 15 min antes aproximadamente, contá con 8 mesas las cuales se ocupan rápidamente, posterior a mi tiempo de espera que fue aprox un tiempo de entre 15 y 20 min entre al lugar y te reciben de buena manera, el menú es sencillo y hay variedad, en mi opinión recomiendo el consomé y las quesabirrias, la mayoría de las salsas son picantes por lo que hay que tener cuidado a la hora de consumir, por otro lado las bebidas son variadas, y manejan tanto refrescos como aguas naturales que son frutas de temporada, el precio de la bebida no es nada elevado costando $25 pesos mexicanos. La atención es bastante buena y si uno necesita más complementos como tortillas, limón, sal, más salsa, cilantro, cebolla con toda la amabilidad lo sirven. Termine de disfrutar mi comida y quedé totalmente satisfecho, la mejor experiencia con el caldo ya que viene bien servido con carne y no está aguado como en algunos lugares, por el contrario viene bien espeso y el sabor del consomé se concentra.
¡Brutal! Birria de la 30 es una joya local. Súper auténtico, barato, sabrosísimo… ¡perfecto para desayunar con fuerza! Solo carne y caldo, pero vaya carne y vaya caldo. Lo he pedido mil veces porque simplemente da en el clavo. Eso sí, suele estar muy concurrido (por algo será), así que tómatelo como una señal de calidad top. ¡No te lo puedes perder!!
Que buena birria en Playa del Carmen Se encuentra sobre la 38 con 30 y está deliciosa. He probado muchas birrias y lo que las define es que tienen muchísima grasa (a mi no me gusta eso🙊) Esta birria tiene sus sabores súper bien definidos, el sabor a carne y condimentos sin que el sabor a grasa sobresalga 👌🏼 buen balance y los taquitos uff! El consomé con carne de muy buen sabor. Los tacos suaves muy buenos, pero los dorados son mejores para mi gusto. Siempre vuelvo a este lugar.
Mi fiancé y yo nos paramos camino a Tulum a comer algo local típico mexicano y este lugar fue lo mejor que pudimos encontrar, los tacos son excelentes, muy ricos y los jugos naturales. Comimos 8 tacos en total, 2 jugos naturales y un agua, el total fueron $8.9 dólares, increíblemente económico tomando en cuenta que venimos desde Miami. 5 estrellas y súper recomendado.. Nota: el lugar es súper caliente, tiene muchos abanicos pero igual se siente fuerte el calor aunque hay sombra. Igual vale la pena ir.

We ordered the tacos dorados and the soft tacos with consommé and both were delicious! The birria tacos were excellent and great value for money. Just be aware that they only accept cash.

Small place and birrias are awesome. It can get very busy and the line is down the street. Be sure to get the Taco dorado en Queso & the Birria carne its a stew! You won't be disappointed.
La Birria de la 30, WOW! I tried their birria with cheese and the homemade consommé… just wow. Absolutely to die for! Super flavorful, tender, and comforting. One of the best birrias I’ve ever had in Playa. A must-try if you love real, rich, authentic flavors! 🌮

Man, this place is my JAM!! The berrea tacos are so flavorful! I had 2 Dorado (crispy) tacos and 1 Suave (soft) taco and shared an horhata withy wife. Amazing!! They are pretty simple tacos with a delicious chopped beef, cheese, onions and cilantro and there are multiple options of mild to hot sauces at the table. All were good and added to the flavor. I honestly felt like I could have eaten more than the 3 I had but at the same time that was plenty to fill me up. Everything cost 189 pesos (basically 10 bucks usd) plus a nice tip because you have to support a gem like this. It is very much a small hole in the wall but do not let that hinder you. Honestly the best tacos I've had down here and I stayed for 2 months. It was great and I plan to go again soon!

Whenever I‘m looking for an authentic place to try when I‘m hungry, I go away from the hot spots, and this place was one of my favorites and pretty much didn’t disappoint. I came here everyday since I discovered it while I‘m in Playa del carmen. The place is tiny, a small business that still keeps their authenticity. The food is fantastic, especially the Birria. The staff are so friendly. Definitely recommend it and will come here again everytime I‘m in Playa
No wait for table they also have bathroom if needed. Was it good? Yes very good! Slightly over priced, spent $15 USD for two people. It’s also VERY hot inside but they have fans going.
Small cozy restaurant, felt very intimate. It was super hot inside but the food was delicious! We got tacos con queso y 1/2 birria con carne. I have nothing else to say. It was definitely worth it.

We got here at the perfect time! A big group just left and we had enough seats to sit 12 people. The service was awesome, they were very considerate that we didn't speak English and had a large mixed order. The food came out really quick. It's unreal how great these tacos are. We got taco sauve, taco dorado con queso and birria grande con carne. Each table had salsa for additional seasoning but even without it, each taco hit the spot! The sauve comes on a soft tortilla and dorado is crispy. I loved the dorado, and would be my recommendation for anyone wanting 1 taco. But please, for your own stomach, order more. Definitely a place to visit if you're in town and nearby!
An absolute amazing local spot. My Spanish is not great but the young man who was serving us was awesome! The whole staff was great! The food was so good I ended up going back the very next day!
This is the place to go for inexpensive authentic tacos in Playa Del Carmen. We got the soft tacos and they were excellent. They make the tacos at a grill right near the entrance and it's very fast. We ordered some tacos to try, then some more because they were so good.
Absolutely delicious food at a steal of a price. If you're in Playa you need to come here for dinner at least once if not multiple times. I highly recommend the hard tacos (they come with cheese compared to the soft tacos) and you can order a birria con carne to share. They do not serve beer however.
My favorite taco place in Playa del Carmen. I can’t honor it enough since they’re dishes are so simple, but complex at the same time. They fully serve only beef within their tacos, which I highly appreciate. Everything comes with a lot of different sauces and additions like pickled onions. Taste wise I can’t describe it and just encourage everyone to visit them yourself. Pricing is reasonable and even their homemade drinks are amazing.

Very authentic/local, awesome food (tacos), and very good prices. There was a lot of smoke inside the restaurant from the grill…but the food was amazing.

Birria, plato típico mexicano, el lugar es pequeño pero con un ambiente muy agradable. El personal es atento y te sirven porciones razonables. El precio es bajo, y la comida muy buena.
El lugar es pequeño. Tiene dos áreas, una afuera y otra dentro cerca de la cocina. La Comida es muy buena y las salsas muy ricas. Hay tacos dorados y normales. El consomé es muy rico. Hay bebidas naturales y refrescos. Lo bastante deficiente es el servicio. Los meseros pierden las órdenes o son bastante lentos en tomarlas y una vez q las toman tardan bastante en servir. Hay q ir definitivo con mucha paciencia ya que una vez q te sirven la comida vale la pena. En la Mañana está más tranquilo que en la tarde.

La comida aunque no es muy extenso el menú es muy buena, el tiempo de espera es relativamente poco, sin embargo, el servicio es malo, he ido varias veces en diferentes horarios y es una constante, sino está el dueño los chic@s de piso no se esmeran por dar un buen servicio. An average taco spot that didn’t quite live up to the hype. I’ve had tastier tacos at other inland locations, and the tacos themselves didn’t have much meat. The staff were friendly, but the interior seating area was uncomfortably hot—running the fans would really help.. Also noticed a hair in one of the condiment bowls on our table.
La birria tenía buen sabor, pero estaba frío el platillo, pedías más cebolla y parece que cuentan los pedacitos que te están dando, había mucho humo alrededor de la mesa y eso perjudica a los ojos, el lugar es súper pequeño.
Quien les dijo que esto es birria? Primera vez que vamos, somos de Guadalajara. No tortillas recien hechas, ni fijoles y las tortillas como las que hace mi niña cuando juega a la cocinita. La birria sin sabor lo unico que mejoro fue sus salsas de ahi en más todo sin sabor.
La comida muy buena excepto el taco quemado que tarde 30 minutos esperando para que al final me lo entregan quemado, si eres Mexicano tendrás que esperar hasta que atiendan a los extranjeros y al final te atiendan a ti, pides un consomé consomé con carne y te dan un consomé con $3 pesos de carne….. Pésimos servicio pero nos volveremos a ver el próximo domingo
Lentos, la señorita grosera, pocas mesas, muchísimo calor, esperé mi orden fácil media hora, se les olvida traerte las bebidas, se “hacen los ocupados”, solo aceptan efectivo, acudí con 4 personas “mis alimentos se les olvidaron”, mal organizados y se nota! Anuncian ciertas bebidas y no las tienen (refresco fresca*), Los alimentos buenos pero en poca porción, Para alguien que come bien no lo recomiendo.
Muy miserable el plato de birria, mini taquitos caros y pobres. Sabor bueno pero ni carne ni garbanzos en el consomé, servicio súper lento, media hora para que nos sirvieran e incompleto, tuvimos que cancelar el resto de nuestro pedido pues ya habíamos terminado con el consomé, dan prioridad al servicio para llevar dejando a los comensales esperando en ese lugar tan caluroso, te sirven el consomé y tienes que pedirles hasta las cucharas.
La peor de experiencia de mi vida! Muy mala actitud de los jóvenes que trabajan en el establecimiento, la birria no es birria es caldo con poca carne sin gran sabor, el precio es alto para lo que ofrecen, querían venderle en 30 pesos un poco de nopales que no era más de medio nopal, la comida estaba fría, terminé saliendo con hambre y muy molesto por la experiencia. Lamentablemente esta ocasión no puedo decir nada positivo respecto a este lugar.
Que fea atención y trato de parte de mesero llegamos a comer 8 personas y pedimos de favor que si podían juntar dos mesas en cuanto desocuparan y respondió con un rotundo no simplemente dijo que tendríamos que dividirnos en dos y pagar separados y comer Pésima atención no recomiendo para nada el lugar asistimos el día 21 de diciembre del 2025 a las 6 pm
We went out of our way to visit this restaurant because it’s outside the tourist area and seemed like it would be more authentic. Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. When we arrived, no one acknowledged us. We stood there for several minutes before realizing we would have to seat ourselves. The only available table was dirty and hadn’t been cleared. Even after sitting down, we were not approached for a long time. What made it worse was that a table of locals arrived well after us and was immediately seated, given menus, and served before anyone even spoke to us. The food itself actually tasted good however, it ended up making my wife sick afterward, which obviously put a shadow over the whole meal. We’ve traveled extensively around the world and are very used to eating outside tourist zones. We’ve had warmer, more attentive service in remote places, including random towns in India. Here, we genuinely felt unwelcome and ignored. Because of the way we were treated, we ended up asking for our food to go instead of dining in. Edit after reflecting: This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. After reading other terrible reviews, I would be ashamed to own this place.
