Muy bonito lugar, tienen ventiladores por todas partes y se agradece mucho. Sólo fuimos a tomar un café y postres pero todos los platillos que pasaban se miraban deliciosos. Espero volver pronto.

Excelente comida, el trato es muy bueno. Pongo 4 estrellas ya que es tan solicitado el restaurante que los revasa, y el espacio afuera puede ser un poco pequeño. Fuera de ello creo son cosas que se pueden arreglar. Lo recomiendo.

Todo excelente el bagel de salmón no nos encantó (el pan) entonces no los cambiaron por baguette y vaya diferencia , era notorio que el baguette estaba recién hecho , de ahí en fuera todo de 10 , buen café también , su gerente clemente extremadamente amable y siempre tratando de solucionar cualquier clase de problemas , pareciera que es el Dueño! felicidades

Excelente lugar para tomar brunch y desayunos. Cocina internacional, con platos variados. Además de tacos mexicanos aquí puedes tomar tomar croissants, crepes, quiché, tostadas con pan francés y excelente café. El servicio y la atención de los camareros fue formidable. El personal es muy educado, pero éramos 10 personas y olvidaron 2 platillos, se les estuvo recordando como 4 veces y siempre decían que ya iban a salir, hasta la 4ta vez que sí entraron a checar y los de cocina se pusieron rápido a cocinar los platillos. Les recomendaría poner más atención en ello. Sus alimentos son muy buenos, pidieron chilaquiles, huevos benedictinos, huevos motuleños y todo nos gustó. Café muy rico y la repostería 10/10, en especial el pan de elote, el mejor que he comido 😍

Excelente lugar para desayunar muy bonito, la comida muy sabrosa y la atención muy buena sobre todo por parte de Luis quien nos atendió con una gran sonrisa y amabilidad todo el tiempo, mis papás venían de visita y les encantó. Definitivamente nuestro lugar favorito de playa.

Restaurante recomendado para desayunar! En lo personal preferiría una maleta distribución del lugar ya que los espacios son muy reducidos y hasta apretados, de ahí en fuera todo en orden. Aplica la de “desayunar y te vas”

Came to Choux Choux Café two days in a row because it was that good! Yesterday I was rushing to catch an excursion, and the owner personally welcomed me and had my breakfast ready in about 10 minutes. The eggs were perfect, the bread was fresh and delicious, and everything tasted amazing. The patio is lovely and relaxing, and the service is genuinely warm. Fantastic food, great atmosphere — highly recommend!

Delicious food. With an excellent atmosphere. We were welcomed to an outdoor seating area immediately upon arrival. There was beautiful singing from a young lady, live, as we enjoyed our delicious breakfast. The staff was excellent! Luciana, our waitress, was so so sweet!! She made us feel so welcomed. I got an iced cappuccino with their homemade almond milk and it was quite delicious. Overall, highly recommend this place for a delicious and enjoyable breakfast or lunch. Their food really is great and for a great price! Also, their menu is HUGE!! Which a huge plus for picky eaters!!

Such a wonderful place for breakfast/brunch. We went there everyday during our stay in Playa del Carmen and enjoyed every meal and drinks we had there. Amazing coconut water and kombucha. The decor made you feel like you were in a jungle and the staff was also very friendly.

Waitresses were super nice and helpful. The place was crowded and I only had to wait for 10’ to have my food so that was excellent. It also has a Caribbean vibe that makes it unique. Food was one of a kind, super tasty and generous.

First of all the service is priority! Luis was the best and he cared deeply on making sure everyone was well served. Luis went above and beyond to meet our expectations. We breakfast there regularly and the food was marvelous. I had egg white omelet with chaya and ham. The coffee was the best. I can't wait to visit again. Thank you Luis for the wonderful Gesture.

We visited Chouxchoux twice, and both times the experience was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, and the location is really charming. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They offer a wide variety of food and drinks, though the vegetarian options are somewhat limited. However, I’m sure you can request to have the meat removed from certain dishes. Overall, a great spot, and we’d definitely return!

Buenas tardes. El día de ayer fui a desayunar con dos amigos todo genial. Tardaron en traernos el menu pero tbien fue evidente al estar el sitio llenisimo. No es la primera vez que voy y en gral es rico, pedí un nuevo combo. Que no me desagrado pero no fue un wow como el combo donde viene el gringo que trae wafle con huevo y espinaca acompañado con papas y demás. Pero este que aparece en la foto que no me disgusto pero no tenía sal. Ya yo pedí para ponerle. Todo excelente en general esta lleno de ventiladores que está bien por el super calor que está haciendo. Pongan mas atención en el combo gringo es uno de sus fuertes. Lo hiba a pedir una vez mas pero el chico me recomendó lo.que viene en la foro ya que me dijo que en ese momento estaba saliendo muy duros sus wafles y que ya ñes habían devuelto la comida. No. Me gusta entrar a ellos creo que por el lugar,los precios y todo es para que nos regalen u a experiencia completa y unos baños decentes tanto para su personal como para los comensales, cero espejo, la llave siempre te moja de mas, el retrete en la las condiciones como la puerta. No dan ganas de entrar, hasta letrero de como lavarse bien las manos tienen, asi que sería genial que cambiaran esos baños a mejor . A lo que es un restaurante familiar bien ubicado en el centro . Comida y precios muy bien, pero al haber solamente una persona atendiendo tardaron mucho en tomar mi orden. Al igual que al pedir la cuenta, me dejaron olvidado, al grado que me desesperé y dejé el total pagado en efectivo + propina y ni se dieron cuenta que me retiré… Tengan cuidado porque se les puede ir uno que otro cliente sin pagar.

El lugar esta lindo. Hay buenas opciones de comida. Los hotcakes muy ricos pero siento estan pequeños. Los smoothies tambien son muy ricos. La decoracion es linda. Muy recomendado venir si estas de visita en Playa del Carmen

La comida esta rica, recomiendo ambos el Bagel de Omega 3, la tartine florentina y de postre el brownie Algo que no recomiendo para nada es el buba Taiwan tea porque sabe literal a agua con un toque de leche y también no me gusto que me lo entregaron sin tapioca, solo llego la chica y me dijo aquí tienes tu bebida, no hay tapioca, sin preguntar ni nada.

Eggs Benedict = fantastic! Cappuccinos are also very delicious. Cool environment with quality music, quite gentle. Service is a little slow but good overall. I don't recommend the potatoes though...they are very hard and not hot.

Bonito pero no tiene aire acondicionado. Nos dieron una mesa donde no había ventilador. El servicio fue un poco lento. Los alimentos masomenos, el plato de huevito con jamón de mí hijo costó $125 y es lo que ven, si acaso eran 2 huevos y entiendo que es Playa del Carmen pero en serio? El croissant excesivamente grasoso. Honestamente no regresaría.

La comida tiene un buen sazón, yo pedí chilaquiles, lo que no me gustó: pedimos 2 brownies, y la mesera tal vez se equivocó o escuchó mal, pero nos llevaron algo diferente, al preguntar si esos eran los brownies nos dijo que si, que tenían los mismos ingredientes, la verdad no tenía inconveniente si se equivocó o escuchó mal, a cualquiera le puede pasar, pero que quisiera engañarnos fue pésimo. No es la Primera vez que voy, al menos he acudido 5 veces, sé muy bien cuál es el brownie.

TLDR - i would save your money. We were seated and waiting to order for about 15 min before we finally got up ourselves to find menus (no one brought us menus). We then had to flag down a waiter after a few more minutes because they didn’t seem to have assigned us a waiter. Food - cold brew was just iced coffee (and weak at that), my egg dish was really bland and came with raw peas and potatoes that were inedible because they were so undercooked. The chocolate croissant had such a tiny strand of chocolate in it that I laughed out loud. The chilaquiles were fine, but overall really poor service and mediocre food, unfortunately. Would not return here.

love to leave realistic reviews, and let’s be complaining honest the place is beautiful, but their tables and chairs are completely loose. I used to really like this place but every time I come, their food is inconsistent as well as your drinks. I usually order the French toast which used to look like the image below, and then they change it to a regular bread not to mention they used to give you lots of berries, and now they gave me three I usually order the same drink, which is There, Chi Chi Chino, which comes with a blended drink and ice cream on top that has espresso in it already and a side of cookie and a spoon this time. It was literally just milk, the ice cream and espresso on the side and they expect you to pour it on top, which was OK but then they didn’t give us a spoon and we had to wait about 10 minutes to collar server. For two minutes and we both got our food at separate time and no utensils. Again had to flag our waiter down. When my food arrived they then told me the side I order was no longer available and when I asked to subistiute to something else they said no only a salir. Who wants salud for breakfast ?. What made the situation worse was that I was still expected to pay full price for what was essentially a half meal with no side. On top of that, when I asked for a cup to go, I later noticed that a “meal to go” charge had been added to my bill without it being discussed when I requested it at my table. I did bring this up to the host, and , he was kind enough to correct hut only after I spoke up. This place used to be at a reasonable price but with the popularity I feel like priced went up with their quality way down. I do not think I will be coming any time soon anymore. It really sucks because my first couple time here have been great the last 3 where disappointing and I continued to come and give it the benefit of the doubt but after this 3rd time disappointment they lost a loyal customer hopefully with a few realistic reviews they can take a look back and see how to improve there hospitality and food quality as it once used to be. The first picture is how they used to be yummy and unique. The second one is how they changed to bland bread and sugar. 3rd is how they completely went down on the quality of the food from portion of sugar adj berries tasted horribly compared the the first 2.

El servicio de nuestra mesera fue bueno. El problema fue la comida. El café estaba quemado y acido y las papas nos la trajeron completamente frías a lo que pedimos que nos la calienten y las llevaron a la cocina solo para traernos otras que por dentro estaban igual de heladas que las primeras con la diferencia de que estaban tibias por fuera. El descaro viene cuando habiendo contado esto al chico que nos iba a cobrar nos pedía que si queriamos dejar propina por el servicio. Dejé propina porque siempre tengo la costumbre de dejar pero me pareció una falta de respeto grande que ni disculpas nos pidió. Simplemente estaba interesado en si queríamos dejar servicio o no. Otro problema grave es que solo quedaban asientos afuera y no tienen ni siquiera un ventilador de pie como para estimular el aire. Playa es tan húmedo y caluroso que es necesario que aunque sea pongan un ventilador si no el calor se sufre mucho. No volvería. Me fui totalmente decepcionado.

We took a breakfast deal with American pancakes with a side of salad. The portions of both were incredibly small. The pancakes didn't taste good at all and the salad was also two lettuce leaves with a bad sauce. I ordered watermelon juice which was nice and a hot chocolate milk (with oat milk) that came cold (with ice) and with little chunks in the milk. They forgot to bring us the salad. The waiter also checked his phone while we ordered. Plus he spoke really quick and didn't really listen to us. He was elsewhere mentally. That was rude.
