An incredibly beautiful place in Playa Del Carmen! The staff at Don Luca are very friendly and the cafe itself is a hidden gem full of plants and small cosy areas to sit and enjoy the view. I would recommend the fresh juices to anyone! Absolutely fantastic!

I’m very impressed with the quality of the food. You could really taste the freshness within eat ingredients! On top of that, I was very impressed with the portion sizes. These meals were HUGE, my husband and I couldn’t even finish them. Food does take a little way to prepare but you can really see that the staff really puts their love, time, and effort into every dish. I would definitely recommend and come back again myself.

Grab a smoothie, maybe a chicken salad and head up to the third story balcony to relax and enjoy the view, you won’t be disappointed. The service, the food and plants make this a fabulous experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Where to start.. the staff is the most loveliest bunch of people you can imagine. They can make any smoothie or juice you can think of that’s not even on the menu. The drinks and the food are so delicious, I think I have tried everything by now. I just can’t get enough. And the location. My my. It’s three floors of cuteness and positive vibes. I have used it as an office and I couldn’t be happier. This will always be one of my favourite places in Mexico 🫶🏼

Everything about this little gem is amazing. We stumbled upon this place whilst trying to wait out a rainstorm. The staff there are incredibly welcoming, friendly (and patient with our spanish so thank you!). The menu was very inclusive, with options for almost every food preference. The portion sizes are really generous and the smoothies are ever so refreshing, highly recommend. We went back almost every day of our holiday for them. Their seating area is beautiful and vibrant with plants, and provides some relief against both rain and sun.

Went here in hopes for a quick refreshing drink to beat the Mexican heat and it was bang on. The juice is very fresh, tasty and made to order. For the basic mixed fruit juices they were around 60 pesos and was well worth it. They have a lot of options. I wish I found it sooner during my trip, as I would have started each day with one of these. Bonus for anyone that cannot speak Spanish, the lady who works there can speak English as well. Highly Recommend

I would give it 10 stars if I could. This place is absolutely beautiful. The decoration wow! Whoever owns this place is an absolute perfectionist, every single detail is thought of from the decoration to the recipes and quality of the ingredients. Just what I was looking for: clean, organic ingredients. And the taste, wow! I live in Cancun and will come back to Playa just to eat here. Thank you Don Luca 🙏🏻

This place is all my food dreams come true! Even better, it’s tucked away on a side street just far enough from 5th Ave to be an easy walk, yet blissfully away from the noise. I had been craving a healthy spot with smoothie bowls, fresh juices, and smoothies — and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was too. The sandwiches are incredible! Be prepared: these meals are legit filling and made fresh to order. This is not a 3-minute grab-and-go spot — and that’s a good thing. Expect a 15–20 minute wait, but it’s absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is so charming, with a relaxed vibe that makes slowing down feel good. It’s also nice to escape the loudness of 5th Ave for a bit. (Tip: there’s seating on three levels. To the right, there’s a side gate that looks like it leads to apartments — but it actually takes you to more seating overlooking the street, surrounded by plants.) Lucas, the owner, is super chill and kind, and the young woman working mornings was also incredibly friendly. During our stay in Playa, we came here seven times! We tried the grilled chicken sandwich, tuna sandwich, spirulina bowl, Don Luca bowl, and a few different smoothies — all wonderful. If I had to pick favorites, I’d say the spirulina bowl, green smoothie and the chicken sandwich really hit the spot. My husband and I would split one bowl and one sandwich each time and it was the perfect amount. Vegetarian options: Yes Atmosphere: Boho, indie-chill charm Pricing: Not “cheap,” but very reasonable for the quality Food: Clean eating, refreshing, and satisfying Payment: Cash and Card (even amex accepted) Language: Menu in Spanish and English

I am huge Acai fan. This place made me the best bowl in Mexico so far. Truly recommended. Coffee as well top quality. For sure my every visit in PDC would include the Don Luca place. Thank you guys
