Nice beach. Lot of options for street shopping. Parking can be tricky. ADO bus can be a good option to visit this place.

Easy to locate and to board the ferry service. Lots of taxis waiting around. No shelter between the dock and terminal, so be prepared to get wet in the rain. Terminal seating is limited, so arrive 15min before departure to get your tickets and board. Seats on the ferry are very comfortable and the ride is quick (45min).

Seems like a typical boarding pier port area - felt safe here and ventured beyond for a pre-planned excursion. Nice way to arrive at mainland Mexico!

If you are coming to playa del carmen... you will come here. Good views but nothing really special here

There were 2 women sho aparently worked organizing people before checking the tickets, they both gave false information and send like 60 people to the wrong qeue and when asked again they gave again false information only when asked a third time they gave the correct information. By then we were already late to board. "DONT TRUST EVERYTHING THEY SAY AND ASK TWICE" Also if your suicase weights more than 23 kg the workers managing the luggage, will not load it in to the ferry but you will have to do it your self ,there are some spaces inside where you can leave it.

If someone says ‘lets take the ferry to Cozumel for lunch’ DONT. The ferry works fine but the views from the boat aint much, it can be crowded onboard and stuff you can walk to on Cozumel side sucks compared to Playa Del Carmen.
