My first experiences was when it’s was called chop chop . Now it’s under new management. I usually come around lunchtime and order my Favorite short ribs soup . So delicious 😋 and the services is wonderful . I really do love the little dishes off vegetables and kimchi best kimchi I’ve ever tasted delicious 100% . I even asked for a refill off kimchi and fish cakes my favorite 😻 . I wish I Could give you more than 5 stars ⭐️ . I be back again to order short ribs soup . Thanks again for your outstanding service .
Good food, I like the dinner plate. Have not eaten inside but on pickup orders the staff is nice. Tofu soup is good too. They get the spice level correct according to how you order it. Mild is still very flavorful.
On a chilly Christmas Day, when many restaurants were closed, we stumbled upon this gem and couldn't have been happier! We were cold and hungry, with minimal expectations, but the delicious food and warm atmosphere instantly lifted our spirits. The food was absolutely incredible, warming us up from the inside out. It truly saved our Christmas!
Amazing food! I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and it did not disappoint. You get a lot of food when you add in all the side dishes, plus we ordered some dumplings. I ended up taking half home for lunch the next day, so I ended up with two meals! I definitely want to go back again. Covid note: At the time I went they were allowing indoor dining but also had outdoor seating as an option.
The food was so good and service was great. Highly recommend. I'd prefer Yaedam over the other AYCE KBBQ in Concord area.
This is my partner and i’s favorite Korean bbq place in the Bay Area! We are such foodies and have been to many Korean bbq places in the bay and this has outdone them all. The quality of the meat is excellent (thick 👌), it’s so clean and the food is so fresh. Plus the service is top tier! Update.. they def changed the menu and their food. It’s okay but not as great as it was
always great service. minus them adjusting the temperature on the grill to low at times.
This little gem opened just before quarantine. I’m so happy they’re still here. They’re really making sure to follow COVID protocols. I highly recommend Yaedam!
The food is so good and authentic. The waitress Esther is so cute and sweet. She is the best waitress in town. I had a great experience.
This is my favorite Korean bbq place in the area. I love the food. It is always delicious. The staff there are always super nice and caring. I recommend this restaurant for those wanting some Korean bbq.
Came in for AYCE dinner after a hike around Mount Diablo on Friday. Surprised to see the place only moderately busy on a Friday night. Overall the experience is exactly what I hoped for. Decent meat and plentiful ban chan. Definitely get the brisket, LA short rib, and pork belly! Could have done without the bugolgi, miso pork belly, and steak. Service is fine. We spoke up when we needed more sides or water or another meat order and the servers were reasonably attenuating. Given the price, I wouldn’t mind coming back again.
Really quite delicious and a great variety of banchan. I specifically love the eggplant which usually isn’t given at other Korean places nearby. Also a great lunch combo! It comes with rice, soup, and a protein. Great portion and perfect for leftovers too. Their broths are really flavorful and warming. So definitely come on by and try yaedam!
Being there a few times before I like their tofu soup, galbi and the cocktail mango soju, galbi and bulgogi meat very tender good service also the soju cocktail is good enough for 2 or 3 people.
We were there on opening night and were VERY impressed with the quality of the food and the wonderful remodel from the previous Korean restaurant (Chop Chop). The staff was wonderful and the new owner a delight. A fantastic new addition to PH!

The food portions were decent and the taste was delicious especially the kimchi pancakes.
Yaedam Korean BBQ is hands-down one of our favorite spots! The food is consistently amazing—everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, whether you’re there for a casual weeknight dinner or a weekend outing. What really sets Yaedam apart, though, is the incredible service. Ester, the owner, is truly the heart of the place—she makes everyone feel like family. Her staff is just as friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a great dining experience. This place has become one of our regular go-tos, any day of the week. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out!

A solid choice for Korean food. I love the lunch specials here. The Bi Bim Bop is always a great choice. The portions size are good, and I love most of the side dishes. They have really good kimchee!!
Just went for lunch with my parents. Its was quiet and we didn't need to yell at each other which was much more pleasant atmosphere that other Korea bbq's I've been too. The service was nice, we were greeted right away and sat down. We ordered all you can eat, ayce, and it was good. We really like the baby octopus and pork neck. Everything tasted fine and Igot to introduce my parentsto corn cheese! The only thing is the BBQ took awhile to get to temperature. We'll be back when we're in pleasant hill again.
We've been here several times now and really enjoy how flavorful the food is. Even our young kids really like it. My favorite are pretty much anything that's spicy, the hot sauce they use is delicious. My daughter likes the brisket and pretty much fills up on that over a rice bowl. My only complaint is how expensive it is. So we only go on special occasions or when we have the extra money for it. Atmosphere is beautifully lit and we enjoy sitting at the booth seating.
The food here is delicious. Definitely has better options on their menu than other Korean bbq restaurants nearby. Only thing holding it back from it being 5 stars is the service. My family and I got the premium all you can eat because the short ribs are our favorite. However it wasn’t necessary because the LA short rib included with the regular all you can eat menu was marinated the same as the ones listed on the premium. The wait time it took them to bring the meats out after ordering was so long, that we kept having to turn off our grill because it was just burning and smoking a lot due to having no meats to cook. They even took long like this with ordering drink refills and waiting for the rice and different sides. I think our dining experience definitely could’ve been better if the service didn’t suck so bad, but at least their food was good.
I really enjoyed the Korean BBQ here. I'm not a huge fan of Korean BBQ, but my wife loves it so I was ready for another mediocre meal, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meat here. We ordered the spicy bulgogi and I could not get enough of it. 10/10 would recommend. They also have soju cocktails which was too sweet for me, but it was still a fun drink. Only get if you like sweet drinks.
Parking is limited. Parked at the strip mall lot across the street. Got a table with no wait. It's the only place I've found that offers Unami Bi Bim Bop. Plus extra Unami can be requested. Very tasty. The Strawberry Snowflakes dessert is generous and delicious. The only downside was the waiter doesn't come by very often. Otherwise, I recommend this place for good eating.
We came here for Dinner. Didn't do AYCE. Banchan was great, the Mackerel and GalBi were amazing. Spicy pork was ok. It was pretty empty so service was great, can't relate to when it's busy. Will try AYCE next time.
Lunch was delightful. Friendly server made soju recommendation. Lunch special was fast. Mackerel beef bulgogi. Kimchi pancake, calamari, soft tofu soup were all flavorful
OK, First things first. The food...Flippin' AMAZING! I might be biased because I'm Korean but seriously, the food is delicious. This place used to be a different Korean restaurant pre-pandemic but everything's new/different/changed now and this is yet another example. Back to the food... The banchan is well done and flavorful and has authentic flavors that is really hard to do well. The Kim Chee Jigae is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! The richness of flavor without being over salted is what surprised me. They also had a korean beer that I never had before so that was pretty cool. You know I had to order the Kal Bi too. That was super good as well. The manager/owner said that an order would feed 1 and a half people but we found that it'll easily feed 2 and in our case they brought out 4 decent sized ribs and it fed all 4 of us. Granted 2 of my party were little ones (actually 1 little one and my teenage son who could put away the groceries). One of the issues I had was that things I asked for didn't show up and I had to either ask multiple times for them or the wrong thing showed up. Eventually I asked to cancel a couple items off our order. If it weren't for that I would absolutely give this a 5 star review. In the end it wasn't a big deal but I can see these things being exacerbated during high volume times like Friday or Saturday evenings. With that being said I think it's a 4.5 star place. Well done, authentic Korean food is hard to do and good places are a rarity. I would be more than happy to drive an hour to come back with my family or wife on a date night/cruise. Support your local korean restaurant, give this place a try (just not on Friday or Sat night lol).
FIRST TIME WE CAME HERE AND WE ARE IN LOVE !!!! MY PARTNER IS A VERY PICKY EATER AND TO MY SURPRISE HE DEVOURED EVERYTHING ON HIS PLATE THE FOOD WAS VERY TASTY AND VERY HOT. I LOVE THE CHICKEN WINGS AND EVERYTHING WE ORDERED THE RESTAURANT LOOKS VERY CLEAN AND WELL DECORATED BUT OF COURSE THE MAIN CHARACTERS ARE THE DELISH MEALS THAT CAME OUT OF THE KITCHEN TOTALLY TOTALLY I RECOMMEND YAEDAM KOREAN BBQ TO EVERYONE WITH A VERY SOPHISTICATED PALATE THE FOOD IS 놀라운
Family got to experience this place tonight and it's definitely an experience! Being our first time as got the large beef to cook at our table which included 3 types of beef, rice for 4, soup, and a myriad of fermented Korean style veggies. My kids thought it was so cool to cook our own food and enjoyed trying all the different flavors and food. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is it took a LONG time to get our food. I was surprised they didn't bring the soup out first or something as we just sat and sat and sat. Meat and veggies finally came, but I had to ask if we were going to get our rice and soup.

Great customer service. Bon chon self-serve bar was alright. We liked the japchae, eggplant, and miso soup. Cheese corn had good flavor. Tofu soup was spicy but had mushrooms and zucchini so that was good. Our favorite meats that we would get again is miso pork belly, Hawaiian beef brisket, and beef bulgogi. We also didn’t try too many meats but really liked those. Thank you for wonderful customer service!

Yaedam KBBQ is slightly better than your average korean bbq restaurant based on the quality of their meat. We decided to go a la carte (though they do have AYCE) since we weren't very hungry. We ordered the premium pork jowl and brisket. Both dishes were good portions. Our party of three adults had plenty to eat. Each order came with a side of steamed white rice and assorted banchan. Their banchan dishes were decent, but was disappointed that they didn't provide anchovies. Also, we weren't offered refills and were only given two pieces of lettuce for wrapping. I guess refills only come when you do AYCE. Their housemade bean paste was excellent. As for the atmosphere, there could be some improvement. The lights were not turned on during our meal so it was rather dim. Also, there were uncleaned tables near us despite the restaurant being more than half empty. We came right as they re-opened from their afternoon break so not sure why there were still dirty tables. Service was decent; nothing stood out good or bad. Overall a very underwhelming experience. We won't be going back.

Went for Korean BBQ. Very disappointing. Service was slow. Meat was very very fatty. Banchan was sad. It was self-serve and almost tasteless. The kimchi was ok. On the plus side the bathrooms were really clean. Don't waste your money...not worth it.
Not typical of any Korean BBQ I've ever been. The food was covered in ketchup which was not good. The wait staff was not attentive as they should be. And even charged us for someone else's table.
The setting of this restaurant seem dead. Everytime I drove by, I thought the place was popping. The blue RGB lights was up for decoration to catch the outside attention of fine place. My experience here was alright. Meat quality was poor, corn cheese (no effort) just taste sweetened corn with melted cheese ontop, and cocktails were awful. Mango slushie cocktail was original flavored Soju with mango purée. The cocktail was watered down. Get a new bartender. It was no pitcher, it was brought into a stainless steel tall cup. The vibes of this restaurant was either quiet or the music playing loud. Service was not bad though the food experience here was poor. Come on now the brisket should've at least passed my standards but the bulgogi, brisket, pork neck wasn't even delicious. For the price, it's not worth it. Will not be coming back here. Deuces ✌🏻

The food was terrible and the service was really bad. Sauce was spilt on my leg when the sauce trays were being served. Food tasted like crap and the portions were terrible. Saw many roaches crawling around and their salad bar was near empty. Their fries were cold and bland, and their plates had remains of people before us. Not cleaned at all.
The waitress literally robbed us. I don't usually tip. I don't believe in the culture, but it was a special night and I was feeling generous. I put a $10 tip and my credit card was charged $30. I called my card company and cancelled the entire tip. I was also purposely misled about the menu and ended up paying x2 the amount I expected. Other than the literal robbery by my server, the entire experience was pleasant. The food and atmosphere was amazing and the staff were polite. Korean BBQ is a definite experience for everyone to try, but I will never suggest this place. Being over charged for menu items and servers attempting to steal larger tips isn't something I would ever support.
First time and last time, Probably one of the worst Korean BBQ spots I’ve gone to. The Brisket tasted dry and all the meat we ordered tasted like cheap meat and bland. Ordered the corn cheese, and it tasted like charcoal. If you’re looking for Korean BBQ near concord, go to Ohgane. Do not waste your money here.
The food quality at the All-You-Can-Eat establishment was unsatisfactory; the calamari and chicken nuggets were undercooked, the kimchi lacked freshness, and the BBQ grill functioned poorly. Additionally, inadequate air conditioning made dining indoors uncomfortably warm, and the customer service was average. Despite selecting this venue based on favorable Google reviews, our experience proved to be highly disappointing.

food was nothing special. was seated with no utensils or plates. the meat and apetizers was not good. the cheese corn was very clumpy and tasted a day old. not worth coming here for the price. you’re better off going to gens kbbq instead.
Came here for the à la carte menu. I ordered a spicy tofu soup and beef short rib combo. The soup was pretty good, however, the short rib was raw. I sent back the food and when they bring back the meat, the meat was burnt. The service from the server was unprofessional and rude. She did not apologize at all. Definitely will not be coming back!
