Set up a reservation for 1830 hrs. Was seated outside (only seating available)by 1825 hrs. Next to the fireplace. NICE!! Within minutes orders for drinks and appetizers were taken. All in all was an enjoyable date night!! Drinks and food were made and served perfectly and in a timely manner. Will be back again!!
Had a really good experience. The hostess I spoke to on the phone was super kind and helpful when I asked about specific allergies to food. She was also really helpful when we got there even though we didn’t have a reservation for our fairly large group. We were told it was a 15 to 20 minute wait but we got sat pretty quickly. Our server was also great and explained the menu really well! The food was pretty solid. The deviled eggs were way better than I expected. I also tried the bison meatloaf, and it was really good. The mashed potatoes on the side were really great. Kids had no complaints about their food. The butter cake was just amazing! Only small thing is the music inside was a bit loud sometimes. so it was kind of hard to hear people across the table. Not a big deal. Overall the service and food were both great. Would definitely come back!
Food has always been great. Today was definitely different. Our waitress Kat was amazing. My wife and I came in for lunch and could not have asked for someone better. She made our experience perfect, checked in on us, and absolutely has her craft dialed in! Would definitely request her next time there.
Cole our server was awesome! Very helpful, and attentive. Checked on us just the perfect amount of times! He recommended the most delicious dessert I’ve ever had: The Triple Chocolate Mousse! He even checked ingredients for me because I have food sensitivities. Thank you Cole! I’ve been to this restaurant at several times before and this is by far the best service we’ve ever had. I recognize talent when I see it. Give the man a promotion. You don’t let good employees like that get away.
We visit Lazy dog on Sunday evening , our dine in experience was fantastic. Food was super tasty adults and kids were satisfied, our server did an excellent job, this place never disappoints especially when coming out to celebrate with family and friends. Thank you for a great time!!!!
I ordered through Grub Hub, and had this small craving for soup. I went with the chicken tortilla soup, and even though I got the side, it came with 2 good sides of it! It was warm, delicious and tightly sealed The only thing I regretted was not getting the full bowl size: I wanted some more! 🙄 I think the whole eating in experience is much different and more recommended. I just had this craving, and Lazy Dog came clutch with it. The customer service is awesome as well 👌🏼
Lazy Dog is a great spot for a late-night dinner! 🌙 Cozy vibe, good portions, and tasty comfort food. Service was friendly even late at night — way better than grabbing fast food. Definitely coming back! 🙌
Huge restaurant with a bar and outdoor dining. Not a quite atmosphere, but we enjoyed that when le celebrating a huge win for our party. Large menu with something for everyone!
Great service and amazing food, all the staff is very friendly, good size portions, desserts are delicious and the firecracker shirmps are bomb, definitely coming back.
My wife and I were car shopping all day yesterday which was a long and frustrating day. She wanted to show me Lazy Dog because I hadn’t been before. I like trying new places but wasn’t really in the mood but we went anyways. And let’s just say the moment we sat down our server Manny was phenomenal. His energy and recommendations to me were top notch. Everything was delicious. And in a matter of moments he turned a frustrating day around to one of the most memorable date nights ever. We (I) can’t wait to go back again!
Bring your dog and sit in the patio. lazy dog has so many great menu options tor dogs and humans alike You will not be disappointed whatever you get. We are in the beer club so it's fun to try the new beers and you get discounts or upgrades on beer orders and to go orders. also, we love to get same TV dinners to take home. They are huge portions and I dont know how they are less than 10 bucks each. love the desserts too. try the butter cake!
This was my first time coming to this location and it was consistent with the other locations that I have tried. We were greeted with smiles right as we entered and was seated. Everything looked clean and our server was very friendly and helpful. I know that I can always enjoy myself when I go to a Lazy Dog.
The food is delicious every single time I come! The waiters are always so nice and respectful. There was a lot of people there and we did not wait long for our food. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was very joyful. The bathrooms are clean. There is also outside sitting for dogs.
There is a variety of foods and drinks are pretty good the cocktails are dependent on the day of the bartender who's there the service is very good and the overall location is perfect you can also bring your dog and sit out in the patio in front of a fireplace
Went on a Sunday evening to the Concord location for my husband's birthday. Very last minute as we were busy all day and were close by on our way home. They were so nice, asked if we had a special occasion, had my husband choose a dessert which they comp'd. Gave him a card with his name on it and a free appetizer. Very attentive service and he loved his fried chicken dinner. I had the loco moco fried rice with a perfectly cooked egg on top. Very yummy and huge portions. We also liked the atmosphere. It's big but the booths are cozy and the decor reminds me of a fancy lodge.
Let's just start with Sammy our server was the absolute best!!! Appetizers: fries seasoned to perfection perfect crisp and soft inside, lettuce wraps very tasty, but those deep fried deviled eggs omg 4 wasn't enough so I'll be having those again. Entree: All 4 of us loved the food. It felt very farm to table. The pot roast was everything for me so tender no knife needed my friend's fried chicken was a beautiful golden brown and the shrimp Alfredo was a hit with my other friend. Presentation of the food and drinks was amazing. Even when our server's shift ended Sammy informed us and introduced us to our new server who's name slips my mind but she also was awesome. This was my first time eating at this establishment and they say first impressions are lasting. This was definitely an impression I will remember for all the right reasons and I will dine with them again.
Great food great service.. love the heated dog friendly patio. My puppy loved the chicken and rice bowl. My fried chicken salad was awesome and my grandma is crazy about the banana pudding. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town. We got some of their tv dinners to take home as well and they were awesome too.
Generally good food where you can't go wrong with the favorites like the wok-fried calamari, roast, fish and chip and butter cake. I've been here several times in the past (before Covid) but only returned recently, so I'm glad those didn't change. The menu has new items here and there. I love that they try making new items. My only negative this round is the chicken katsu sando. It comes with a Japanese-inspired sandwich cut into 3 small pieces and fries. I think it needed a bit more katsu sauce and either be cut carefully or just divided into 2 slices. My thin slices kept falling apart upon picking them up so I ended up treating it more like a salad with a fork... 😅 For the price and amount, I probably won't get again, but it was an okay take on a sando. Other than that, still great place to go for the atmosphere and general favorites on the menu.
Excellent experience! Food was great, Server was fast/considerate, nice vibe eating in (I hear one can bring their dog!!). Shrimp tacos were bomb dot com, period. Tasted my coworkers fries and wanted way more. Was able to slide Server a note for two impromptu birthday celebrations at my table. Fun was had....several times over!
The LD beer club is a genuine good deal and a true asset to a restaurant that already had an expansive menu, delicious food and a large selection of beers on tap. They have a full offering of spirits at a large bar with numerous screens for watching sports. Their staff is large, friendly and responsive to the customers. The patio is also a great place to bring the dog or the kids. Plenty of parking. Although it's loud and very busy inside, it's a quality place with much to offer.
I went there for happy hour and early dinner, I was very pressed with the food. What I was mostly impressed with was the service, Vicente was very friendly and courteous. I have been here many times, but his service by far has been top-notch, the way it should be. Keep up the great work. I can't wait until the new menu options come up this spring.
Ran out of food in the refrigerator so I decided to try to find some place local to eat. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been to this restaurant and I’m glad to see that the service standards are still very good. Wide variety of options to choose from on the menu, plenty of drinks to choose from at the bar as well. TVs were full of sporting events and plenty of weight staff there to assist. I realize I should visit here more often.
We went here because of its dog-friendly reputation. I brought my Cavapoo and she enjoyed the Hamburger Patty Bowl. Maybe, I will order no rice next time and order extra meat. My husband and I enjoyed our Happy Hour dinner date with our puppy. We will definitely come back for more.
Nothing beats a good savory pie so when Freeloader Bob called me and offered to buy me a lunch I was all in...as long as it's from the Lazy Dog Restaurant I told him. After all....I'll be paying for the lunch so I should get to choose the restaurant right! We had a great lunch, 5 stars all the way, and after Bob pushed the bill over to me he asked me for 20 dollars for gas ...you know, so I can make it home he said. Lazy Dog Restaurant ☆☆☆☆☆
Stopped by Lazy Dog for lunch today and had an awesome experience! Janice was the bartender and absolutely made my visit. She was friendly, attentive, and really knows how to make you feel welcome. Her service was top-notch, and she’ll definitely be the reason I keep coming back. Great food, great atmosphere, and amazing service—thanks, Janice!
Great place for bringing your furry friends. happy hour, great value. Update. I just pick up the tv dinners, six-for-five deal. Total worth it, not only for the cost factor, the smell of a homemade meal will fill your home, and the tasty entree with a side of vegetables and a dessert will fill you. I tried the turkey dinner and the Salisbury steak both were way above expectations. Tip: follow their direction the rotating part will ensure the dessert is cooked to perfection to match the entree. Ps. If you are a beer club member order online before heading out and save 10% bringing the before tax cost using six for five to $7.50 per unit. The quality of this homemade well-labeled product is good as getting a door dash delivery, with way less cost of course. Cheers, and Enjoy. You won't be disappointed.
This place is fantastic! The open setting and rustic decor is on point! The server did an excellent job. The food was original, and had outstanding flavor. We tried 3 appetizers, 2 dinner plates, and 3 kids meals, and everyone of us was stuffed! Great place, and we will definitely frequent this place when in the area! 5 stars, for sure!
We ordered Ginger Soy Salmon and Pot Roast Beef Dip . Both dishes were very tasty! We had a wonderful server her name was Lisa .She was very friendly and helpful ! We really appreciated her service ! We also enjoyed the patio and the fire ! We had a very warm evening ! And we will be back again !
Our server Darren did an EXCELLENT job and everyone enjoyed their drinks and food. Our only problem was when we first arrived, the place was packed and we had a group of 7 ladies. Our options were a long wait or seating outside. We chose to go outside and despite the heaters and being close to the open pit fire, it was pretty chilly! But we still had a great time, good food and wonderful service!
Well first off I went with a church group... They were pushie about drinks until we told them no one drinks so after favorite sodas time for orders main courses boy what a chore guys and ladies picked... Over all food was well prepared lots of food on huge plates most folks took food home.. Service was very spot on with refills for sodas and water which were pitchers between us there were 12 individuals To my meal I was very disappointed because I read Chuck wagon thinking it would be the bomb .. Missed on all counts Chuck wagon Steak if could call it that was a Big Joke I was very surprised.... My only enjoyment was there dinner salad seemed everything crispy bites water inside my mouth Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves Oh then desert was what saved the night! So swing by but be careful with what you oder Until next time folk's Happy Trails Be Good to each other!!
Lazy Dog has sentimental value for my wife and I because it was where we had our first date (at the Livermore location). Regardless, Lazy Dog is a pet-friendly restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The food choices are great and the alcohol options are plentiful (and tasty)! I always get the bison meatloaf. It's loaded with fried onions and mashed potatoes with gravy. Also highly recommend the sticky ribs and the umami fries!
The name might throw you off, but the restaurant has some class. It’s alway a fun place to come to along with the fur babies. Our dogs love coming to dinner with us and grabbing a nice $5 dog bowl. The ambiance inside or outside is appealing to all. Food was delicious—some of the best fries I have had in a long time. The mint and cucumber speciality drink was ok, really tasted like pickle juice to me. I would stick to the regular cocktails. Customer services is usually great. The last time we went, they were a little overwhelmed. Got the food order wrong and forgot utensils on several occasions, but the server did have a great personality. They also treated our Dalmatian really well and showed her a lot of love which we appreciate. 😊
It was my first time here at this restaurant and was very friendly. Great service from the server. I didn’t like that I was given a not so friendly greeting from the two girls in the front but overall my experience besides that was great. I enjoyed the food and they did their best to accommodate my needs to my satisfaction. It was a great place to have a friend get together or even just a night out. Bathrooms, outdoor seating, indoor seating, and parking lot is big enough and not too busy. Will be going back again with family and friends. I’d recommend to make reservations before heading here because it can fill up fast. Great environment and loved the pictures that they had hanging up. Portions were well worth the money. I enjoyed it and will be returning, I’d just hope for a better and more friendly first impression from the individuals in front who we see first when we walk into the door.
We sat with Britney at the bar for our first time here - she was amazing. So sweet so friendly and had great food recommendations. Id give more then 5 stars if I could. We’ll be back (:
I was about to type a generic "good food good service" sentence and my husband reminded me about the cornbread croutons. For dinner one Thursday evening we were in town and decided to try the Lazy Dog. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken salad and atop the salad were cornbread croutons. These are delicious little bites of cornbread baked as "croutons" and I wish I could buy them by the bagful. Appetizer we tried was fried deviled eggs, and I understand that sounds weird, but whoa they were excellent and tasty with a small piece of the bacon candy adorning their greatness. My husband ordered the PB&J burger (which included bacon candy yum) and the bite I tried was very good. The side of pickled cucumbers was a small dish of thinly sliced cucumbers that had been pickled in vinegar with radishes, also tasty. I also ordered and drank a Huckleberry Mule which definitely could have used more vodka as the ginger beer fought the flavors of the lemon and huckleberry pretty fiercely. We would eat here again.
We went for the Christmas Santa event and had a great time. My son loved meeting Santa! The food was also really good and the service was great as well. We love coming to the events Lazy dog hosts.
My experience here was very pleasing. The food tasted great, and I think the host might have checked in on us 10 times, leaving no dining need unmet. The restaurant felt very modern with an interior design full of small details that gave a nod to the curator's hope that patrons not only need the greatest food, drink, and service, but also that the ambiance is an essential part of the dining festivities. I'll be back here for sure to enjoy my new favorite appetizer, hot honey feta dip.
I come here about once a month for lunch with my mother in law. I love the menu as it has new items and offers an array of different foods. We always have great service and the drinks and food come out in a timely fashion. We appreciate the team effort at the Concord, CA store...you guys rock!!! Thank you!
My husband and I come in every week to see Janice! She makes our visit so special. We love her so much! The food is also great! We often share the Tex Mex salad or the Buffalo nuggets! Highly recommend!
Today was my first time coming here and I will continue to come back. The staff, atmosphere and food are amazing. Our server Nisa and her manager Nick took very good care of us. There was one hiccup with my order, which was remedied immediately. My cocktail was amazing too. I can't wait to make my way back!
Tyler Joseph was our server. He is beyond an amazing employee. Give this guy a raise!!!! Such amazing Customer Service and knew so much 100% of the menu and answered every question we had and made a lot of really yummy suggestions. Love him so much and would not be seated in anyone’s section but his.
Shoutout to our server Cole! He was very attentive and went above and beyond throughout the meal to make sure we were well taken care of. Food & drinks are great as always, please make the chicken tikka masala meatballs year-round! :)
Amazing food as always! I would go here every week with my partner. We were able to bring an out of country friend and had Luca as our server who went above and beyond to make sure we were all settled and happy. Now my buddy wants to come again while he is visiting! 10/10
It's all about the bartender. I usually stop by here after work for quick happy hour and then home. Of the last 5 visits, all but one was awesome. Not sure who the bartender was today (1/13/26), but she was fantastic. Super friendly. Glad never empty. And was quick to take care of every request I had. 10/10, will go again. Thank you LD for listening
Enjoyed the Fireside Favorite with chicken, smashed potatoes and spinach. Delicious! S'more brownie dessert included with special was awesome! Server was attentive and courteous. This is my 2nd visit to Lazy Dog and it's becoming one of my favorite casual dining restaurants with a variety of menu items at reasonable price. Definitely recommend.
We went on a Monday for a Birthday meal. Beautiful building. Parking was good. Was welcomed with smiles and Hello's. Wasn't busy at all. Too bad! It is amazing! There were five of us two ordered the same Tout dish, one... the CubinSandwich plate, Chichen lettuce wrap one huge best tasting Chicken Pot pie. Every dish was critiqued as amazing. The Brussel sprout appetizer was so delish, worth getting. The service was impeccable. Being a birthday meal, we picked the Apple Huckleberry pie with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream... so darn good, warm, not huge sweet or tart. Perfect. Got pics with a Birthday Frame, Senior Discount, and card for free appetizer which was a great present! Just a joyous experience for the night
Yummy fish & chips! The Fireside meal (I had fish tacos served with beans & spanish rice) with a Brownie sundae for dessert is a great deal! Most of the time it's too chilly inside, so I sit outside or bring a sweater if air-conditioning is set too cold. Servers have been super friendly & attentive.
Our first time here. It wasn’t busy. The kids ordered chocolate milk with Mac and cheese. That got their thumbs up. We ordered the lettuce wrap and buffalo wing as appetizer. That got mom’s thumbs up. I liked the filling. Honey ordered the cheese burger with fries on the side. That was a thumbs up. I ordered the fish and chips. I loved the fries. Very crispy. I gave some of my fries and that got their thumbs up. And finally, mother ordered the ginger soy salmon with sweet fries. For drinks, I ordered the traditional mojito and that was good. I also ordered a peach sangria.. eh.. not what I would consider a sangria so I would not reorder that. I would definitely come back minus the sangria.
It was my first time coming here and it was a great experience. My daughter and I went for lunch and they were moderately busy. Our server was helpful and the food came out very quickly. If it's your first time going, make sure to go on their website and sign up so you can get a free starter! We got the Cajun fries and my daughter started that the sauce was addicting...it was very good! We for sure had to get to go boxes for all of our food because the portions were huge. I had the Ahi tuna and my daughter had the fettuccine. Overall I would recommend this place.
My second time here in this location. Huge space as always. The staff were polite and quick. I ordered Green Almond Chicken for $23.50 and was happy! The dish is well thought out both in appearance and in taste combination. I felt simultaneously sour notes of lemon and sweet notes of citrus. The texture is also nice: soft potatoes and crunchy almonds. Thanks!
This is really a sub 4 (maybe 3.6-3.8). The food is okay. Used to go here somewhat regularly. Now, maybe once a year. Why? Food started out great. Now, it tastes like it’s cooked from a package. This last visit, none of us finished our meal bc we were unimpressed. Only thing that was fine were the wings appetizer. Fries were way over seasoned. Service is okay. Price is fine.
The service staff were wonderful. My tiki masala meatballs were stale. They replaced them immediately but those meatballs should have never left the kitchen. The brussel sprouts are a must have! I'll never understand the cost of a soda these days, stick to water. The French dip looked great! It gets extremely loud in there! Not recommended for those who get sensory overload.
Love coming to this place any chance I get I love the food I love the stuff and the drinks and it's always nice when I'm going with my husband. Our server Courtney was the best. I would give this establishment 10 stars or 100 stars for having her as our server. More places need people like this. We've come to this place many times before and the food's been fine, but this time maybe because it was on a Friday and they were very busy. The brussel sprouts were burnt and I always every single time order the brussel sprouts. So seeing the brussel sprouts burnt really burst in my bubble. But you know what Courtney made things better by giving great service but also her positive demeanor.
The food was good, I ordered the fish and chips it was quite delicious. It did not take too long for our food to arrive. It has a wonderful atmosphere with a good sized bar, and excellent service. It has a cool outdoor area with fire features, and when you walk in there is a cool fire place. Two things though, someone in my party ordered a root beer and we had to ask for it when it didn’t come, and it was rather pricey.
We’ve visited this popular place for the third time, and it’s time for a review. I like the variety of their menu, the food is tasty, and the portions are good, but I think the price is a bit high. There are other restaurants with much better food for the same price. The service is average and depends on the waiter — sometimes it takes a long time to get noticed, while other times you get plenty of attention. A great advantage is that they are open until 11 PM, which is really convenient.
My first time coming to Lazy Dog was a great experience. I was with a group of eight. We had one waiter. He did an excellent job making sure everyone was ok. I wish we could've had separate bills. Who carries cash now a days. I had chicken lettuce wraps that were good. The Million Dollar Bacon is served cold in a cup. The salads on the table were good, as well as the Brussel spouts.
Fun place, great for dogs on the patio. Cool atmosphere, foods just ok though. Room for improvement.
I had an excellent experience at Lazy Dog. The food was absolutely outstanding — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can really tell they pay attention to quality and presentation. The menu offers a great variety of options, and every dish we tried exceeded our expectations. The flavors were well-balanced, portions were generous, and the ingredients tasted high-quality.
Went out for dinner with the girls. Never been to this location before. There was a 25 minute wait because it was Friday evening. Sat at the bar and had a drink while we waited for the table. I had a blueberry and lemon tini thing. Loved it. Had actual blueberries in it. Then our table was ready. They sat us by the fireplace which was nice because it was a cold foggy evening. So cozy. We ordered and got the $15 deal which was an dinner and dessert. Got the shrimp tacos which had plenty of shrimp in them rice and beans. Very tasty. For dessert got the smore brownie with had ice cream and marshmallow. Super good and goowie. It was very busy but overall an enjoyable evening.
My pie tin nachos were very cool instead of hot cheese. The young man who served us was excellent! Very cordial & friendly. As it was our first time in, he brought us complimentary house made seasoned potato chips....they were amazing! Atmosphere was very friendly! We'll be back 😁
It's always a good thing when going to a restaurant and having good wait staff. And this was one of those times, somehow for some reason I ended up in Concord in the middle of the week and ended up having a healthy meal. It did cost me a little more than I expected but, it was worth it for this visit. Darrin was my wait person and he was nice, friendly and informative, realizing I was a bit indecisive about what to order. He offered up a good suggestion, but I ended up venturing out on my own. This visit consisted of a side of roasted Brussel Sprouts and Hush Puppies, both were delicious and enjoyable. Because I spontaneously ended up out in Concord on a random day, there weren't many patrons in the restaurant which was really quite nice, it was nice to be able to be in my own head and think in that quiet space. And it's very unlike the places I am surrounded in, most of the time. There were a few drawbacks, in that it seemed that some of the wait staff enjoyed pacing in front of me, which did cause an interruption and disruption to my visit. It was like they were "trying" to relay a message, but did so in a pictionary sort of way, instead of using their words directly to my face. It was strange. Anyhow, I appreciated the service I received from Darrin and enjoyed the quiet of an empty restaurant. It was just a pleasant experience.
Went with 3 friends and 5 dogs. We shared the Bacon Cheddar Biscuits, Spring Hummus and the Crispy Deviiled Eggs, which we all enjoyed. All the dogs got either the beef or chicken meals with rice & veges. Even the pickier yorkies snacked on the food! I ordered the shrimp tacos which I would order again. My ONLY issue, since we were outside with the dogs, & it was windy, was the shade cover blew out twice, missing my dog, in her doggy carriage & (after placing zip ties back in place) again blowing out and smacking my ear. The shade covers were on the side of building facing the gym so, beware! Will definitely return as the food & drinks were great.
Great place! First time eating here and will definitely go back! It's a pleasant, trendy, casual upscale place, with a very nice covered outdoor dining patio. Nicely decorated and best of all, Dog Friendly! We took our pup and most folks on the patio also had dogs. All were well behaved and non disruptive. The atmosphere was very pleasurable and the food was hot fresh and delicious. Also had cocktails that were excellent. Lots of interesting creative menu choices, asking with some more traditional items. Five of us ordered different entrees and we were all very pleased with our meal. Only one ding, we made a reservation for five foot the patio and arrived on time. We watched another group of four let themselves on to the patio without checking in. They seated themselves, even though the sign says you must check in. The waitress came out front and informed the front desk they the party snuck in and instead of asking them to follow proper procedures, they let them stay and be served, while we were kept waiting for a table beyond out reservation time.
Normally good food but today I did the Mediterranean chicken for takeout and was so frustrated to see there wasn't even a lid on the cup of tzaziki and it basically ruined the dish because I never even want that sauce to begin with but there's no option to hold it.
So. The server was patient and attentive. The seating was ok. Inside seating accessible friendly, butno outside seating was armless. The dog gimmick was well followed through with Good boy/Good girl written on the restrooms. Amusing, but also gendered. The cleanliness of the cutlery and plates was lacking. Dry off cleaned plates before bringing to table next time. Check for stuck on food the dishwasher didn't clear off. The water - you could taste the freezer burn on the ice machine - clearly it needs cleaning. The food was a mixed bag. The items all sound yummy, but didn't live up to the expectations. Some things were flavorful (queso dip and the spaghetti squash beetballs good), other things were subpar - the chicken fettucino was bland, the jackfruit tostadas excessively salty, the goat cheese tasted more like creamcheese. The drinks were delicious - not too sweet and the eyedropper gimmick is fun. Although, it's weird to provide plastic drink eye droppers and not straws; it's a plastic downsizing fail. Parking plentiful.
I strongly suggest that you go to this place when it's not peak time. Because the quality of food being served by the chef's would be horrible. My friends and I went there for lunch and ordered the all American burger. They served us with patties that were burnt on the edges like the whole thing and we could taste the charcoal. So we had it returned, they did replace it, but with a soggy bun and onions that still had ice on them. I didn't would be impolite with the servers because it wasn't their fault. So, I just ate the soggy buned, frozen onion with ice, all American burger. 😅 I reccomend havin their pizza though. It's still my favorite. Hopefully they don't burn it as well.
This place seemed like it would be really good but it was not. I ordered the bison burger medium. It came out nearly raw and I am not entirely sure it was even bison. Our waiter disappeared from time to time and wasn't sure if he was coming back. We were a table of six and kept running out of water and drinks in general. Overall not a very good experience.
Nice place. Often very crowded. They have a huge variety of food. However almost no vegetarian or vegan dishes. I might be mistaken but I think even all the salads had meat in them. I ordered a bowl with tofu, veggies and rice. It was mostly rice and tofu. Very little vegetables on the plate. There were a couple of vegetarian/vegan appetizers, but that's it. The service was good. Drink variety was pretty good too. If you are not vegetarian or vegan you'll probably like it much more then I did.
We ordered Cajun fries, the portion is good for 2 people but they tasted very vinegary not Cajun flavored. Also ordered wings, but they never came, so we ordered 2 orders of the Pot roast, the wings only came after. The pot roast didn’t have a lot of flavor and it was tough and dry to eat it, so we just got everything to go and left.
The food was decent. All American burger was big and definitely had a smokey taste to it. Flame grilled? Came with a big portion of crispy and tasty fries. Korean bibimbap bad the right ingredients, but lacked the sauce that is basically what makes the dish. So it was somewhat of a let down. Buffalo chicken bites were surprisingly good. They used chicken breast and it came out really juicy. Onion rings were fine, fried chips were good. Servers were friendly enough. Ambience feels like eating in a lodge in Tahoe or something.
Chicken was cold in the burrito bowl. Way too much cilantro! Wanted more black beans they were cold too. Just ok food. My complaint is this. WAY TOO COLD IN RESTAURANT!! Not comfortable. Employees were wearing sweatshirts. Wanted to leave to get in car to get warm with heat!
I’ve been a loyal Lazy Dog customer for years, mainly because of one thing: the BBQ Veggie Burger they used to make in-house. It was unique, flavorful, and something I couldn’t get anywhere else. I would come back again and again just for that burger. Unfortunately, they’ve removed it from the menu and replaced their house-made veggie patty with a MorningStar option — something anyone can buy at the store and make at home. It feels like a major downgrade in both quality and originality. For a restaurant that prides itself on creative dishes, this change was really disappointing. I truly hope they reconsider and bring back the original in-house veggie burger. Until then, I don’t feel as excited about coming back. There decision of veggie casserole was as worse than the wose I have tried as if I eating something so muddy. I look forward to this but they have ruined my day.
How do I remove the tip from online pickup order?? Made an order, parked the car at the restaurant, sent a text with stall number, got a text back that team member will bring the order. 5 min later nobody showed up. I got inside the restaurant, hostess and host chatting with each other while my food getting cold sitting right next to them…. It takes 10 sec to bring the food from restaurant to parking lot. Hostess wasnt helping clients, she was just chatting with team member. Guys, if you online/text feature doesnt work, fix it please. If your employees just dont do their job, well…
Even though I'm from Fresno, and have always had a good experience there, I cancelled my beer club subscription because of the terrible service at the concord location. Wake up management!
I was extremely disappointed on service of this place. Promises were made by management and nothing was ever followed through. It's a shame because I really liked lazy dog this location is trash!
I’m honestly shocked at how awful this experience was. From the moment I walked in, the service was slow, disorganized, and completely indifferent. Our server barely checked on us, and it felt like we were an inconvenience the entire time.
After having some service issues, a manager by the name of Larry or Logan came by claiming to be the GM, he made several promises, so far to date, nothing. Very consistent with the service we received. Done with this place.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years and it used to be one of my favorites, but tonight I had a very disappointing experience. I asked for a soup without the tortilla inside because my mom can’t have carbohydrates, but the waitress said it couldn’t be done, even though they’ve done it before and served it on the side. Later, she forgot my to-go order and just asked if I still wanted it, without apologizing. I spoke with the manager, but he didn’t really help and just said “okay.” I left feeling really disappointed after being a loyal customer for so long.
This one star review is because Dpaghetti squash and beet balls is no longer on the menu. I know thst was a favorite for a lot of people, especially gluten free folks. Please bring it back!!!!
This has to be probably one of the worst lazy dogs that I’ve ever been to in my life. I really like lazy dog. Their food is great but this location particular the food is not good. It has no flavor. It is dry. It is not good. No dishes from here that I’ve tasted has been good. They need a turnaround 100% horrible. I do not know how they have 4.3 stars that should be illegal.
