It's been a couple years since we've been to the outback but had a good dinner had a pretty reasonable price 😀
Our waitress was excellent. The food was much better than I remembered from our last visit to Outback, which admittedly was 10-15 years ago. I had a very enjoyable ribeye steak, salad, and clam chowder soup.
My mom and I had the best experience at your establishment on Saturday night. I can't remember the servers name but she had the cutest little bullring in her nose, she was absolutely amazing!! You guys should cherish her and her commitment to excellence!
This is the closest Outback after they closed the one in Pinole, CA. We came for a farewell dinner for my nephew who will return to Peking University for schooling. He probably will not be coming back to the States for at least 2 years. The food was excellent. It was well prepared. We had the prime rib dinner and we took a take out sirloin steak dinner back to a family member who had to work. Marcus was our server and he was top notch, attentive and patient. Recommended highly if you're looking to fulfill a steak event. Will definitely be returning. Keep up the good work.

My home base is located in Hercurles Ca. I was devastated when my area, “Outback Steakhouse.” Fully shut down. But now I’m in full of spirit, when I found a new viewing in Concord. What I cherished about this Outback Steakhouse, is driving to this location, It’s located in a quiet area, away from everything. I can sensed the peace and quiet. Another thing dining in, the atmosphere is so modern, classy and very enormous. The food is so delicious. It makes you want to take more food to go. I will come back, when I want to eat marvelous streak. The bar the was it’s designed it very elegant and first class.
Very nice atmosphere and lovely theme. Unlike any steakhouse I’ve ever been to. Lovely service and great food, menu is especially very unique. 10/10 Tried the famous shark cocktail “Aussie JAWSsie”, lived up to expectations plus they give you the shark toy!!
4.5 stars. Second time here. I love the environment. The service was good, but it seemed like they were a bit understaffed. The potato soup was really good. They got my rib eye wrong. I ordered medium rare but it came out to be medium. They sent it back with no problem. Shoutout to the manager who came out to rescue and got it fixed quickly. Price is fair. Will visit again.
Just went to Outback last month for my Birthday dinner. I’ve been to other Outback locations in the past, and quite frankly wasn’t impressed. The steak was tough, not cook properly and just not quality. I am thrilled that it’s improved immensely. We had a lovely dinner. New York steak cooked to perfection. (I happen to like mine rare) with shrimp and baked sweet potato. A huge piece of chocolate cake for dessert with vanilla ice cream. 3 of us shared the dessert, and there was still some left on the plate. Great portions, many choices and quality service. I can’t wait to go back
They closed our Pinole location ☹️ we used to celebrate year long there and a few other places that have since closed. I’ll update my review after we visit. This is a milestone celebration so please make it one to remember 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Update: Well, let me clarify some things and debunk/update some things. This is one of the nicer locations, and there was not one scent of sour towels or one sign of dirty surfaces. Very clean and tidy inside and out so cleanliness and ambiance are 5 stars. 2nd is the service is A+ not too much or too little and everyone was very approachable/professional with a smile. Our server was sweet and precise. Never coming or leaving empty handed. We wanted to split the bill and she was very accommodating. 3rd part, the food… I am giving a very honest review. This is where you need just a little work. Don’t get angry, it’s good. Food is great but execution and timing is equally as important as flavor and presentation. So the quick fix items (soup/salads/etc) and blooming onion came out quickly/fresh. The rest of the food, for our party of 10 was just a little longer than we expected (not much) and some of the steaks were not quite cooked as they were ordered. And birthday girls salad was over mixed which (with hot steak on top) made it more soggy as I was eating. Again, all the flavor was on point and the presentation was nice too. All in all, we will be back! We miss outback! One last tip/request, well 2. Please bring back the pork chop and the Tasmanian chili! Those were so good and they weren’t on the menu.
Food was ok. A bit salty but in general the meat was good. Service was pretty good. I registered for new dine reward account and they managed to get me a free blooming onion.
The smell when you walk in is pretty bad. It smells like dirty rags. Service is a bit slow. Food is ok, but chef can be better on steak temp.
Delicious ribeye. Wish there weren't so many hidden charges when you order "premium" sides. Ughhh annoying but the steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. My specialty cocktail was missing it's garnish but I'm sure they were out.

It’s not flashy, but that’s part of the appeal - comfortable booths and large tables based on your party needs, warm lighting, that could be dark in cases, and a laid-back vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay for a while. The menu offers a solid selection of meats, including some standout options like the medallions. Just a heads-up: you’ll want to know your cuts - occasionally they may present a different cut as a premium option, blaming the tenderness, so it pays to be specific when ordering. We kicked things off with the Bloomin’ Onion (of course), but they’ve got a few other appetizer options like coconut shrimp worth exploring. Tap beer selection is surprisingly good, with a variety of choices to pair with your meats. Customer service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely polite throughout the evening, even though we had a return & replace. Overall, a great experience. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu and enjoy the relaxed, classic steakhouse feel again.
The serving team was great, the food was good but has room for improvements. Some of the steaks could be trimmed better and some had a bit more outside char than I’m used to but were tasty nevertheless. The blooming onion was a bit salty and oily for me. Not a bad place to have a meal. Easy parking outside.
We had the best customer service experience on Sunday 5/16. Emily came to our table with bread and butter on hand. I was impressed with her level of attention and top notch service. This is how it should be, and when I ordered my drink she asked me if I wanted a flavor. I didn’t know you could customize your drinks further and I love that. She was attentive, genuine, never forgot about us and had amazing energy. We will be back because of her! When it was time to go, she offered a bread to go, and a cup for my fiancés soda. I like that we didn’t have to ask, she offered and was so sweet to us. Her service is 10/10, the only reason why I’m only giving 4 stars is because the food is a 4/5. Thank you so much Emily🤍
We went when they first opened for lunch. Server was attentive. I had a bowl of Potato Soup and a Steak Salad. Soup was barely warm and my steak was med-well to well done. I had requested medium. I did not say anything at the time so I guess I shouldn't ding them here. I would go back but would say something next time if not meeting expectations.
All 3 steaks came out not as requested. 1 was so rare it was almost raw and supposed to be medium. 1 was rare and was supposed to be medium and the 3rd came rare and was supposed to be medium rare. 1st 2 were sent back for additional cooking and were both microwaved to complete their cooking. Both lobster mac & cheeses had tiny amounts of lobster barely visible but the menu pic showed big chunks of lobster. All 3 side salads were fine and so was the Bloomin Onion. Our waitress named Chloe was fantastic. Manager came by to apologize for the steak screw ups but did nothing to compensate. Over 2 hours to have dinner and we got there by 520 p.m. Full disclosure it was Father's Day.
One of my go to places because it’s very good food with great service for years , it’s in my neighborhood .Last night was Veterans Day free dinner that I love to attend .My steak was very tuff so I took it home and now I’m making beef stew . Thank you 🙏
**Subject:** Concern Regarding Improper Gratuity Calculation and Dining Experience – 9/9/25 Dear Outback Steakhouse Management, I am writing to bring to your attention a concern from our recent visit to your restaurant on **September 9, 2025**, where our party of four dined and received a bill totaling **$191.99 before tax**. The sales tax was **$17.76**, bringing the total to **$209.75** before gratuity. However, I noticed that the **suggested gratuity amounts (18%, 20%, and 22%) were calculated including the tax**, rather than being based on the pre-tax subtotal. This practice is **not legal in California** and takes advantage of customers who may not realize they are tipping on the tax as well. To illustrate, the suggested gratuities were listed as follows: * 18% – $37.76 * 20% – $41.56 * 22% – $46.15 These figures clearly include the tax in the calculation. While I did speak with the on-duty manager, **Claudia**, she indicated that she had no control over how gratuities are printed on receipts. In the end, we paid **$250 in total**, which included a **$40 tip**, even though the **food quality was mediocre** and the service did not justify an inflated gratuity. I wanted to make you aware of this issue so it can be corrected at the corporate level. Including sales tax in suggested gratuity calculations is misleading and unfair to customers. Service was not very good. Guess we got a bad server. Waited too long for food (+30 min) on a not so busy night. We had to request bread where other servers were giving bread out without asking. The family to our right didn’t even get bread from the same server. Food was cold by the time it got to us and the salad had hardly any green lettuce (a lot of yellow). We and the folks at the next table had to beg for our checks after waiting over 20 minutes as if we were being held hostage. Not a good experience and probably will not return to the location again. 👎🏽
