This place is under new ownership and reopened today so we went to check it out! Being from the bay, the pizza reminded me of Bronco Billy’s pizza in Union City. So fresh, not greasy and worth the money! I was concerned reading about the pricing but I didn’t see this as an issue as the quality and number of people a pizza can feed matter! I’ve easily spent $50-60 on a round table pizza when you get an L specialty. Here a family size runs at a similar price and feeds more people (5-7). I think it’s a great option for parties and team events. I also went to breakfast at a local brunch spot and paid $50 for 2 people so I guess it’s all relative! Definitely check it out! Everything inside is brand new, that’s a perk! Inviting interior and not cheesy looking
Found by accident, we decided to try this cute little eatery in Pleasanton. Very clean dining room with well mantained and tasteful decore. Pleantly to suprised to see they sell slices and pitchers of beer, they met all our criteria for our weekly lunch date, and more. We tried the Pizza di Mare, which was fantastic. The menu had plenty of options for a variety of tastes, included wings, bread sticks pastas and salads. 10/10 will be back!

There are so many pizza joints at every block in Pleasanton and I somehow never had the chance to try this place until now. I'm so happy I did. From all the pizza places around town, this place is probably my favorite. The quality is really good, even the crust tastes good (and I typically don't care for the crust). It's just a tad on the salty side but most pizzas are. I like the selections. (We got classico and chicken pesto, yum!) Forget the big chain franchise pizza places; this place is THE pizza place for pizza night! (I'll check out the gelatos next time.. maybe after the pandemic is over since icecream scoops are open freezer.)
Exceptional pizza... The dough is the firm, crispy and elastic enough to be held in one hand without any problem. Toppings stay in place (in all pizzas that I've ordered) and the toppings' quality is BY FAR the best I've had in the area. Delivery time is OK. I stopped ordering pizzas from any other place except Bello... There's just no contest....
Exceptionally tasty pizza. Very good sauce and crust. Fresh ingredients. The sausage is very good and the red onions were sweet and plenty to taste them in every bite. The salads are fresh and the Bello Roll was unexpectedly good (you will want more than one). Shout out to our delivery guy, the owners son. A mistake was made on our order, 2 8oz bottles of wine were sent. He refunded the wine and told us to keep them.
Small and cozy place, food was really good and the guys working were super nice. If your prefer pizza with a crunch to it you have to try pesto. The spicy pizzas are also amazing.
Closest to NY style pizza in the area. Quality cheese and sausage used. Calzones are delicious too. The specialty cake pops for Easter were a hit.
Over the last few years friends and I have come by here along trips to or from the bay and central valley (from Burlingame to Modesto) and none of us can think of a place that makes better pizza. It can be pretty pricey but each time we've eaten from here it has been well worth it. If only they were in SJ. Always recommend this place when people are near to it, so to me it is well worth checking out.
We ended up finding this place by chance because we’re waiting for a table at Bill’s Cafe. We decided to walk the plaza and I smelled the aroma of freshly made pizza. We had to GO in. As a New Yorker, I am seriously picky about my pizza. It needs to be thin, crispy with gooey cheese and a great sauce. This place checks off all of the boxes. The owner was super sweet and explained she got the ingredients from the East coast to make it truly delicious pizza. Don’t sleep on this gem!
My go-to place for pizza takeout. Very tasty and non-greasy. Lots of varieties. Love it!
I called to order take-out from here on Sunday night and didn’t realise that they were closing in about 15 minutes. It would take slightly longer than that to prepare the order but they were very kind to accept the order. The pizza was delicious and it hit the spot. The crust was light and not greasy, the kind that doesn’t make you feel bloated even after you’ve stuffed yourself, which we absolutely did.
This is easily the best pizza in the area, and we have tried at least 10 others - including the large competitor across the street - and the pizza is not even close. We usually get carry out and try to time it when the pizza's really fresh. To compare pizza, first start out by getting plain cheese without toppings - that way you can compare just the crust, sauce, and cheese (the fundamentals!). Then try any style of toppings you want. Their big screen always has a game on and my wife and I have occasionally got a beer/cream soda/pizza and watched a couple Warriors games there. There are only 4 tables so there's no bad view of the game.
Long time customer, soooo long, I can’t remember when was the first order, & delivery. But, I did work through the tough times during the pandemic /w that Mom & Pop pizzeria. Great family owned business, great service & great food. Every delivery driver who’s shown up @ my doorstep did a good job, &, or was polite. Nice job you kids. 😁(sorry you guys, but I’m old). Pretty sure that I’ll continue to order from Pizza Belo as long as I’m still breathing, or for as long as Pizza Belo makes pizzas. FYI, there’s a Pizza My Heart down the street from my home. I ordered from there ONLY Once, & only once. Service @ Pizza Belo - much better. Enjoy everybody!
Best pizza in Pleasanton and I've done the research! It's owned by a charismatic couple. The wife sounds like she's from Italy. To the owners: We often take an irresponsible number of napkins when ordering carry out. Thank you for tolerating!

Calzone decent size for a large but wasn't stuffed as full as I hoped. Side Italian salad was excellent. Fountain drink size was laughable & actually refused it when I saw size. Ended up giving it to me but maybe big enough for a 2 year old. Free refills don't do any good if not eating there. I had my order to go. Wait time not bad.
Best tasting pizza in town. I've tried them all. You can taste the ingredients, the pizza style seems the most authentic. If you want to change it up, they have so many different and unique pizzas on the menu. Truly, quality ingredients and best tasting pizza.

Really good pizza. Small restaurant not for groups. Okay for small families. Take out!

I don't understand these other reviews... Are we eating at the same place? After moving to Pleasanton in 2015, I ordered for delivery pizza a few times because this place is close to my house. The pizza was seriously bad. During transport, the cheese slid off the pizza on one side. There was an overabundance of sauce and the pizza was burned. I have recently met friends here with the kids to get pizza by the slice and it was totally blah. Anyway, there are 2 good places in town and this is not one of them.

COVID with you Pizza: last 2 visits casher has no mask, while talking to you just 2 feet away. Owner defends the practice. On both occasions got only snotty response when I asked them if this is their normal practice. That the place across the parking lot shut down from covid infected staff does not have an impact. The "everyone must wear a mask" sign does not apply to those serving you, not at Pizza Bella. Time has passed, but they have not changed

Called ahead and ordered 3 X-Large pizzas and explained they needed to be sliced and packed individually. I said that I understand if I have to pay a premium to cover the packaging and time. Pizza Bello explained that they had triangular single slice boxes that they would use and they added a small fee on, which I was happy to pay and openly thankful to do so. When I arrived to pickup the pizzas, I was told by someone who seemed very upset that, "THIS IS THE LAST TIME! NO MORE LIKE THIS!" I was then told that they ran out of the single boxes - even though I saw a sizeable stack of them and several loose laying around, ready for use. They placed all three pizzas on individual paper plates and wrapped them in aluminum foil and placed them within 3 half-closed, full size pizza boxes. I paid the $115 total, including a tip, and heard again while I was walking out, "NO MORE! LAST TIME!" My 7 year old son's pizza party ended up with a few messy boxes of sloppily prepared pizza unfortunately. This place doesn't want my business so I won't be giving it to them again.
I got the wrong pizza slice (cheese instead of pepperoni) and when I went back immediately to get the right one, I was told I never ordered what I said, and no attempt was made to correct this simple mistake. I felt unsatisfied and that this place didn’t really care that I was happy with my order. Besides, the cheese pizza slice was very simple and not tasty at all, and not really worth $6. Feel free to try it yourself. This happened Sunday 28 2025 at about 2:30pm.
