Time Thai Kitchen is a popular spot known for its flavorful Thai dishes and friendly service. The BECK (basil garlic sauce and fried chicken) and the fried chicken, in general, are highly recommended. It's a small, cozy place that can get crowded, especially on weekends.

Time Thai is one of those rare neighborhood gems that quietly earns your loyalty … and keeps it. I’ve been coming here for over four years, and the consistency is remarkable. Every visit delivers the same care, depth of flavor, and warmth that’s hard to find. Being family-owned, there’s an unmistakable sense of pride in the kitchen, each dish feels intentional, not just prepared. My top picks -The Khao Soi is a must-order, … the kind of dish you crave long after the bowl is empty and of course their green curry, finger licking good. Highly recommend!
Unassuming Thai restaurant serving lots of tasty stir-fry, rice, noodle dishes and more. The spice level is indeed there, if you ask for it. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was efficient and friendly. Outdoor seating can be a bit noisy due to cars, but it’s not too bad. Recommended!
Great Thai spot! Definitely popular on the weekends with pretty much everyone ordering the B.E.C.K. and some form of their fried chicken. We did the same with the BECK, a pad Thai fried chicken, in addition to a khao soi with beef, as well as a khao yum gai zaap. The flavors were great for each with the khao soi being a personal favorite given its flavor mix. The others had a great variation to their fried chicken, each with a generous amount as well. Would definitely come again!
You've got to try Time Thai Kitchen in Pleasanton, a standout spot in the area, especially for their incredible dish, "The Beck". If you're a fan of basil garlic sauce and fried chicken, this is a must-have – and definitely add an egg! Their green curry is another excellent choice. The chicken is perfectly cut into bite-sized pieces, and the vegetables are cooked just right. You can customize the spice level to your liking; we opted for mild. Don't miss the Fried Tofu, served with a delightful sweet and sour dipping sauce. They had the right ASMR crispy. And for dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice is a must-order. While it might not be the absolute best I've ever had, it's still quite good, though I do wish the mango pieces were a bit larger. Parking is usually a breeze. They have a small lot in the back, but if it's full, you can easily find street parking. Prices are reasonable overall, but "The Beck" can be a bit pricier, especially if you add that egg. They've also recently remodeled and expanded their dining area, easily doubling or tripling its size, so there's plenty of space now. Seriously, if you're in the area, swing by Thai Time Kitchen. You won't regret it!
This is without a doubt one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Bay Area. Every dish is packed with flavor. They have standard Thai dishes but also some interesting items like the fried chicken which I get every time. Highly recommend, the only downside is it is small so expect a bit of a wait.
Really nice little spot! It’s a small restaurant but super cozy with great service. The food was delicious — especially the yellow curry. It wasn’t spicy, more on the sweet side, which I actually enjoyed. Looking forward to coming back and trying one of their spicier curries next time!
My wife and I stopped by for lunch since we were in town. We chose this place based on other Google reviews. We ordered the egg plant, beef salad, and drunken noodles. Friendly staff, our order was taken in a timely manner. The food came out fast and was definitely on point for Thai dishes. They were very generous with their portions. Would definitely be returning if we're around the area again. The only downside to me was they place was just a little too small. But nice atmosphere to grab a bite.
I really like this restaurant that I thought about Thailand where we enjoy fried chicken with papaya salad. Me and my friends were talking about it and we would love to come back again. Food was delicious. Good atmosphere and nice people.
One of my new fav thai spots in the area! yay!! Alright, let's get down to business. Parking: street, or there's a small lot in the plaza behind. Inside: really cute, but very small, so tables are limited. They have a couple small tables outside as well. I see a lot of to go orders so we know the food is good!! The taste buds want: Fried Chicken Pad Thai, ok I never knew I needed this in my life. It is sooo good and sooo fresh! highly recommend. Roti appetizer: honestly for the money I think it's REALLLY small. Very greasy too, curry dip is good. The flavors are good but you get more of your money's worth with other items Khao Sao: Overall flavors are good, noodles cooked correctly. My only wish was that the beef was a little more tender. Orange Wheat beer: light and refreshing. Hints of orange come in the aftertaste. Pineapple fried rice: the wok seasoning you can taste that perfect smokiness. Definitely a fav for me Pad Kee Mao: Also another great dish, noodles always cooked correctly. I really should stop writing reviews around lunch, always makes me so hungry!!
The best Thai dishes in the area. If you're a spicy lover, I dare you to try them, especially for Poh-Tek. It is my favorite one here. Two thumbs aren't enough for the rating of food. I might need ten thumbs to rate for the deliciousness of all food here. Never disappointed as always!! Recommend ❤️
Absolute rockstars ! Why hadn’t I been here all this time ? Cute and immaculately clean place are first impressions. The food - delectable. Must be the best Thai food in Pleasanton. Priced right, good portions, friendly staff - a winner all the way.
Delicious thai food. Fast attentive service. Cozy atmosphere. The place is kinda small but the food was delicious. You won't be disappointed.
Exceptional service. The star rating definitely shows. Really good all around. Share your dishes so you can get more variety.

Thai Fried Chicken was really flavorful. The Kra Pow and Pad Thai were pretty good but the Panang Curry was excellent. Would go back for the Panang.
got a table, have not tried the food yet but i would like to say that the disabled parking is far for my disability, the crab fried rice is very good.

Tried out this thai place for the first time, as I was around the area. Honestly this wasn't the best thai food. The basil fried rice was good, the drunken noodles were a bit on a greasy side and it lacked flavors, wish it was more flavorful, and less greasy. The yellow curry was overall good. Overall not so impressive, but will try to be back to explore other menu options
Their fried chicken is SO good! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The tom kha soup was excellent ☺️ and the curry was good! Perhaps it was an off day but I probably wouldn’t get the Thai basil chicken or pad see ewe again, in my personal opinion it lacked flavor.. The portions seem on the smaller side for the price ⭐️ Definitely give the fried chicken a try though!! We’ll be back for that
Usually, I always prefer supporting small businesses, but it would be irresponsible if i didn't share my experience. We placed a takeout order on a Friday night at 5:13pm and the estimated wait time was 47 minutes. We thought, okay, that's fair, maybe they're really busy. When I showed up to pick up our order, only 2 tables were occupied. 47 minutes is pretty steep for 3 items. My main complaint is the portion sizes. The container of pad see ew was 1/3 full and could be finished in less than 10 bites. See picture for reference. I mean I get inflation but $16 not including tax for this is ridiculous. The only reason I'm still giving them 3 stars is because the staff was friendly for the 5 seconds of handing me my order and the padthai fried chicken and somtum set was yummy. We won't be returning for awhile.

Recently had lunch with a friend at Time Thai Pleasanton on a Friday, arrived around 1145. It was an unpleasant experience. Around 10 tables in restaurant. Started off ok but got really loud as the tables began to fill up. People were talking louder and louder to try and be heard by those at their table- snowballed from there. Not possible to talk to someone without shouting. Food - my friend had Green curry. She said it was good. Nothing special though. I had a lunch menu item with chicken and broccoli. There were little 5 small pieces of broccoli and then quite a bit of the sauteed strips of chicken breast. But they were overcooked and really tough. The garlic sauce was nice. The brown rice I ordered was perfect. But we ended up finishing fast because it was a terrible environment to talk to someone. Maybe takeout is better option. But I'd pass on chicken breast since they don't know how to cook it without overcooking. So this was 2 thumbs down experience. Not going back. Oh- and bizarrely, all their curry dishes are not Gluten Free. Never ran into that before at a Thai restaurant.

I ordered to go pad thai. It was not good. The sauce was not mixed thoroughly, no peanuts, and no mung sprouts. It was like all ingredients were dumped into the to go container. The Livermore place is better.
Saw high reviews and Ordered takeout but to my surprise food is really bad. I would recommend other Thai restaurants in the area. Super expensive and portion is too less. Spent $70 and it’s not enough for 4 people (3 adults and 1 kid) .
