Didn't get to try any Whiskey, maybe next time!! The food was delicious 😋 My burger was HUGE to the point that I had to squish it down in order to take a bite, lol. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals which included pulled pork, steak sandwich, chicken wrap and a burger 🍔 We went on a Monday so we didn't have a long wait and service was prompt.

The French dip burger & the boneless Buffalo wings are my favorites! The cauliflower wings are delicious too! Everything I’ve eaten here is excellent and the service is great. Great drink selection too. I love going to this place!

A 4plus. A bit pricey and the drinks are goid. Nice beer selection too. Monday night jazz duo added some class. Will be back. Been back mid week on several occasions. In addition a varied selection of bourbons and whiskeys, the beer menu includes interesting choices. Barrel burger delish!

I can not stress this enough go to the whiskey barrel for brunch! The staff was super friendly and our waitress was excellent. I took my husband and our 10 month old here this morning for Father’s Day, the food was FANTASTIC! They just started doing brunch and they really need some word of mouth because not a lot of people know they are right on Main Street in port Jefferson. If you are looking for a new brunch spot I can not recommend this place enough. We had the barrels biscuits and gravy which was delicious , my husband ordered the short rib brunch burger everything was cooked to perfection they even gave him a complimentary brown sugar bourbon shot for Father’s Day. We will definitely be back!

Very cool bar, warm, friendly. Server was very nice and knowledgeable. We tried 2 flights and a bunch of different foods. Reasonable prices and a huge selection. Food was very good. Apparently they also do brunch, so we will definitely have to check that out also.

I had a great experience at Whiskey Barrel. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was well-prepared and full of vibrant Mediterranean flavors. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The service was just as impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. They were also happy to offer recommendations, which really added to the experience. Overall, Whiskey Barrel is a fantastic place to enjoy a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food and great service.

I visited The Whisky Barrel in Port Jefferson Village on a weekday right before Christmas Eve, and despite the busy holiday rush, it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The place was packed, which added a lively, festive vibe that felt just right for the season. The food was great—exactly what I was hoping for. The wings arrived fresh, hot, and perfectly spicy, while the sandwich was flavorful and hit the spot. My only issue was with the lettuce in the salad; the quality could have been better since it was a bit tough, making it hard to finish the whole salad. That aside, I really enjoyed my meal overall, and I’d definitely come back for another visit. The energy of the crowd combined with the tasty food made it a worthwhile stop!

Been wanting to come here for awhile. Had to sit at the bar since the tables were all reserved already which was a bummer but the bar was actually pretty comfortable. They had a massive whiskey selection set up on shelves behind the bar that was an awesome display. The service was great with helpful recommendations. We got the burnt brussel sprout appetizer which was so good, but unfortunately just a special so go soon if you want to try it. Also got the steak sandwich which was really good, but not a ton of steak on it. My wife got a custom burger which came out a little overdone, but not bad at all. The place itself wasn't huge inside and quickly got loud as more people came in but still was a nice night out. Would come back again to try the wings and other handhelds.

For a whisky 🥃 based restaurant we expected to have our drinks out of whisky glasses . For the price point the experience was so not worth it .

Me and my partner went in here to pick up an order. As soon as we walk in the bartender greets us, asking how we were. I said “Hello we’re good, we’re just here to pick up an order.” Immediately the bartenders vibe changed and she says “Oh of course you are, who are you picking up.” When I tell you she had the worst attitude. Another server came up with the food and the bartender doesn’t look at us and points to where the food is and ignores us. The server was so sweet but I am just shocked at how rude the bartender was. She was a tall ish young girl with dark hair and glasses. I love going to this place, it’s just a shame she was so nasty.

Here on a Tuesday. Took 15 minutes sitting, at the bar to get a drink. There were no customers other than the 8 people at the bar. Ordered wings which are definitely not a fan favorite. Then we waited while there was a shift change and neither bar tender cared to get drinks or service for anything. They were very busy giving their friends free drinks at the end of the bar. The service was terrible and so were the wings. I would definitely advise against this place….

I am speechless. The burger was raw, not rare not slightly undercooked, RAW!! Wings were overcooked and tasteless. Truly a shame. Step your game up guys, the restaurants that surround you down port are VASTLY superior.
