Roadhouse Ribs is a standout spot! The exterior might not scream “ribs joint,” but inside, it’s upscale, cozy, and ideal for date night. The burgers, chicken, and ribs are phenomenal, packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. I’ve passed by too many times and now regret it—this place is my new favorite in the area. The service is attentive, friendly, and welcoming, elevating the experience. Prices are fair for the top-notch quality and whats up w those dang good baked beans. If you’re craving exceptional comfort food in a well-appointed setting, Roadhouse Ribs is a must-visit. Highly recommend for a memorable meal and I’m too stuff for dessert but cant wait…

The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The BBQ was amazing. My choice was the 4 meat platter, and it didn't disappoint. The brisket, sausage, pulled pork and ribs were all delicious and moist. We tried the Korean BBQ burnt ends for an appetizer and they were amazing. Highly recommend stopping in if you're near the area.

My wife and I dined here for a date night and absolutely loved it! This is NOT a barbecue chain restaurant- Roadhouse is a wonderful restaurant. We tried the Devilish Eggs and Fried Pickle appetizers - the devilish eggs were savory and a little spicy. The fried pickles were the best I ever had. My wife had the daily special of blackened Mahi Mahi, and I had the two meat plate of pulled chicken and pulled pork. What can I say... I like my meat pulled. The pork and chicken were delicious and world's away from being the dry overcooked meats you find at generic BBQ places. The pork and chicken were moist, savory, and full of flavor. If you're in Beaufort - I can't recommend Roadhouse highly enough.

I am so thankful for David at Roadhouse Ribs! While they are not necessarily a wedding venue, he allowed my family and I to reserve the entire place for a small ceremony on the patio and dinner/reception inside. The food was so incredible, I still have family members raving about it a month later. The servers were kind and professional, and everyone had a fabulous time! Every time I drive past the Roadhouse, I think about how wonderful our day was. I cannot thank them enough for allowing us to have our special day in their space!

We chose this winner off the internet and had an excellent dining experience. Our server, Nisha, was friendly and attentive, provided us with a sampling of barbecue sauces, and was there when needed. There were four of us in our party, and each one effusively praised the food. The ribs were tender and delicious, the brisket was tender and juicy, the BBQ chicken salad was delicious, and the steak dish was also good! The restaurant is tucked back off the road a bit, so you have to watch for the entrance to the restaurant. We are from out of state, but if we lived in the area, this would be our go-to restaurant. Prices were well in line and a very good value. 2024 update: A year later and another great experience with service, staff, and food. 5 stars still hold true. I had a rack of ribs (there were four sauces at the table to choose from but I prefer the dry rub); she had the barbecue chicken salad. Onion strings and mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious. As it happened, I had to take most of my meal home, but I put it in the oven the next night at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, and it was just as good as the night before. I was sorely tempted by the prime rib special. Maybe next time!

First off, thank you to the entire staff for an amazing fine-dining experience! The food was tasty and the service was phenomenal. For appetizers I got the fried green tomatoes and my daughter got the develish eggs. It came out fresh and delicious. For dinner I got the ribeye and my daughter got the shrimp alfredo. Let me say this: I’ve been to steakhouses from Charleston, SC to Las Vegas Nevada. The best of the best: Ruth Chris, Flemings, Morton’s—you name it, I’ve been. And the ribeye I received from here tonight can go toe to toe with any ribeye from any of those 5 star steakhouses. It was the most perfectly cooked, flavorful steak I’ve ever had. That smoky flavor along with the seasoning blend nearly made me tear up. The steak came out hot and fresh. I asked for medium-well, and it was a perfect medium-rare-wellish. The potatoes that came with it had a sweet taste to it that I’ve never experienced, but it was super delicious. The green beans as well. My daughter’s shrimp alfredo was also flavorful, hot & fresh, and seasoned to perfection. The shrimp actually taste like shrimp. I could cry tears of joy right now. I was so afraid I wouldn’t be pleased because of some of the reviews I read before coming, but I was really craving steak, and for the life of me I can’t understand how or why some people said what they said. My experience here is one of the best I’ve had. We were checked on consistently, the staff was friendly & kind, and the food; well it was the best as I said. I highly recommend this place. I can’t believe I’ve been driving by it for 8 months now and just now decided to stop by. I live less than 2 miles away, so I’ll be returning. Again, to the staff, thank you! First time here and wow! Ordered the Korean style burnt ends and they were a little on the salty side but still melt in your mouth delicious! I ordered the Korean bbq glazed salmon and it was hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommendation!

I've been living in Beaufort for almost 4 years, always drove by this place and never stopped. Today, 22 August 2019, my wife and I decided to eat here for our Anniversary. I have to say, I regret not coming here before today. The staff were polite and professional. The atmosphere was simply great for a nice dinner. But the food...I have to say that the food was worth every single cent. Smoked Sausage, Ribs, Brisket, Mac-N-Cheese, Hush Puppies...everything was delicious. From the appetizer to the dessert, my wife and I had an amazing experience. Highly Recommend stopping and eating here.

A hidden gem of the area, with great smoked bbq. The food is delicious, the serving sizes generous, and the service/decor excellent. The driveway is abit hard to find, so put it in your gps and come on over to my new favorite spot to eat when I’m in the area.

A little pricey for everyday dining, but SO worth it. The ribs and brisket were ridiculously tender and flavorful, the green beans were fresh and cooked to the perfect crispness. Some off the best smoked sausage, and be sure to try the corn muffins and deviled eggs for appetizers. The eggs come with a topper of candied bacon and a fresh jalapeño slice.

Well, I had to try one more BBQ spot in the Beaufort area. I will say that I saved the best for last. From the atmosphere to the music and the food!! I tasted it and I said make sure I take a picture. Well this is your picture. It was soooo good. The pulled pork, pulled chicken and smoked brisket was so moist. I did not even add any sauce. Make sure you come check out Road House!!

Will drive the 2 hours to come back here! The food, drinks and service were all superb!! Just here visiting, we we looking for a nice place to eat...WE FOUND IT!!!!!!! You should to!! Our part had meals from burgers to brisket and everyone enjoyed.

Recommend reservations, but hands down a must try. The prices are very reasonable and you will not go hungry. The food has great preparation, is paired well and isn't over the top. I absolutely love the brisket even without sauce. You can taste the smoke without losing the flavor of the meat. Also the staff are all very friendly from what we've seen

Bottom Line: Visit Roadhouse. You won’t be disappointed. If you visit Beaufort for a recruit graduation or live nearby, you’d make a mistake not visiting this establishment. They pushed through the ‘Vid and continue to provide quality. The host has been here every time I have visited over the last four years and he is an absolute pleasure each time. The current staff is friendly and will work through any issues that arise. This is a wonderful local restaurant and bar that YOU WILL LOVE.

I've been looking for a great BBQ near Beaufort, the Roadhouse did not disappoint. I had the combo plate with Brisket and Ribs. The food was amazing. Good size portions. The sauces are all made in-house. Our server was Destiney, she was wonderful. She was very attentive to our needs and provided excellent service. She was a true pleasure. The Roadhouse is a hidden gem. We will definitely go back!

We came opening night 6 years ago, and it was a disaster. The food was terrible, wait was horrible, etc. I wrote a bad review then for everyone to stay away from it. Tonight, my wife and I decided to give it another shot. Boy am I glad we did... I started with a beer on tap, which was came back nice and cold. For an appetizer, we settled on Korean style burnt ends. My wife is NOT a BBQ person, but we loved these. They were fantasticly crisp, with a Korean BBQ flavor that was on point. For our entrees, I went with the 2 meat plate, with Brisket and Sausage, with Corn on the Cob and Mac and Cheese as my sides. The wife went with the full rack of baby back ribs, green beans and sweet potato fries. My brisket was moist and flavorful, (they give you 4 sauces on the table) the mac and cheese was creamy, and the sausage was also somehow moist and smokey, despite looking dry. My wife was gracious enough to let me try some of her food, and the ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had, being crispy with a fluffy interior. At the end, we decided to pack up our entrees for lunch tomorrow (the portions are VERY generous), and order dessert. We both got the peach crisp skillet ala mode, and both of us finished it despite being full. To top things off, our server (please forgive me for not remembering your name) mentioned that he has been there for 4 years, and was VERY polite, attentive, and not annoying at all. Checked on us at the exact right times, and made sure we were well taken care of. All said and done, between the two of us was around $85, (not including tip), and we left with another meal for lunch tomorrow. Our experience was phenomenal, and we will be regular customers from here on out. Kudos to Roadhouse Ribs for an amazing night of flavor!

Don't pass over this place! It's amazing! When we first walked in we thought we were under dressed! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing. Make sure to come hungry you won't be disappointed! We had the 3 meat platter with brisket, sausage and ribs. For our sides we had the mac and cheese and sweet potatoe fries. Nothing was disappointing. Make sure to save room for dessert.

The Roadhouse and our server, Emma, were outstanding! Every bite, from appetizer, to salad, to entree was exceptional. I can't wait to return! Don't let the deferred maintenance of the building and grounds deceive. Way better than driving all the way to Bluffton for BBQ and much friendlier service than J&N.

Went to dinner here and…WOW! The food was amazing! My son (6) who had something as simple as mac and cheese and fries even said how good the food was. Highly suggested. We just got done with dinner and are still in the parking lot…thats how good!

We got the brisket and pork family pack takeout and everyone loved it. Great service and portions. We are native Texans and in our opinion this is some of the best brisket we've had.

We have been there two times and have had good experiences. The brisket is plentiful and has a fat cap on the end which allows you to either eat it lean or marbled. There is a large amount of meat in the platter which comes with your choice of two sides. My server, Arianna, recommended the loaded potato salad and baked beans. Both were excellent. The fried pickles were also very good and plentiful. I prefer a lighter coating on the fried tomatoes and didn't care for the side roll. The pulled pork was also very good and plentiful. The mixed drinks are reasonably priced. The tap beer selection did not have many "regular beers." So if you like craft beer you're in luck. It's tricky finding this restaurant because it is a very dark entryway and parking area. They take reservations through Open Table.

Will come back for the food. This is sort of a hidden away spot. The dinning atmosphere is intimate and my waitress was EXCELLENT, couldn’t say the same about the front staff. It took us longer than expected to be seated despite it being plenty empty and several servers have seen us waiting…HOWEVER… The food is out of here good! My Shrimp and Grits was piping hot and the shrimp was big, grits was wonderfully seasoned and the entire dish was very well put together. My wife pulled chicken was delicious, slightly dry but paired very well with their BBQ sauce. The fries and fried pickles was just unbelievable and unexpectedly tasty! The side could have been a whole meal on their own. I thought they were reasonably priced for a date night. I would absolutely come back I just wish the front service was a bit warmer and attentive.

First visit since covid. They were full. With short service. He did a great job. I gave him 5 stars for his politeness and effort. The food was great over all however my ribs "beef" were dry and did not seem fresh. The baked beans were fantastic. The bacon that topped the pulled pork sandwich were too thick for a bun. It needs to be thinner and Krispy. The sause needs to be thick yo stick to the ribs. All of them ran onto the plate. Tasty but wrong consistency. The cornbread muffins were too dry and crumbled. Over good job. We will be back

Good BBQ with large servings and variety of BBQ entrees. Actually high end for a BBQ place. I had Kansas City Burnt Ends with Korean sauce. My wife had brisket. The sauces were varied in flavor but the hot sauce wasn't too hot.

We both orders the platters, ohhh so good, ribs tender n juicy, brisket (perfection) shredded chicken n pork very great flavors, the dessert hit the spot, warm peaches with crunchies and topped off with a delicious scoop of vanilla bean ice cream that had just the right amount of sweetness without over powering the peaches. This was our second visit and certainly won’t be the last. Place just needs a little housekeeping and sprucing up.

Salmon was great, but the mashed potatoes have sat in a warmer for wayyyy too long. They had a burnt/scorched taste. The burnt ends aren't as good as they were a few years ago, but the BBQ (ribs, pulled pork, sausage, and chicken) are better! My husband wasn't a fan of how the pulled pork came with a sauce on it, because he preferred a sauce that was on the table. Cocktails and dessert were great!

Service: was great. Friendly server. Fast and great personality. Menu: they updated it recently and had selections no longer available on the current menu we had. Food: brisket was moist. Well one slice was, the rest was dry. Pork ribs were horrible. Dry, definitely didn't fall off the bone. And underseasoned. Mac and cheese was okay bit the cheese sauce was watered down. Fries were, fries. The dipping sauces on the table were literally 40% water. It was like pouring water with food coloring on your plate. You can tell they were watering their sauces down. Price: way overpriced. Not worth 60 bucks at all. I have had way better at 4 rivers BBQ and other small places... Overall you can't expect much, it is Beaufort and the choices are limited here so for the first few months this place will be a hit then vanish like most restaurants.

We went here last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was our first time visiting, but we had heard great things about the food. When we first walked in, the entrance led directly to the bar and there was no clearly marked host stand. A bartender saw us standing there looking a bit lost but didn’t direct us, which made the start of the experience awkward. Once we found the host stand, we told the host we had a reservation for two, plus a child. His immediate response was, “Well, that’s not two,” which felt unnecessary, especially since I had just clarified our party. After being seated, the service continued to be below average. Our server was short and appeared uninterested in serving us. I’ve worked in the service industry for years, and in my experience, above-average tips come from above-average service. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. We were prepared to spend some time and enjoy the evening, but the service from the very start made us feel the need to cut our visit short. That said, the food was great. However, the overall customer service needs improvement , some people just don’t belong on the floor. The restaurant was nearly empty at 6:30 p.m., and based on our experience, I can understand why

Went to pick up my order. Called when I arrived like I was supposed to. Was told it would be brought out. Waited 10-15 mins and called again. No big deal we're all human and slip up. Order was brought to my car and it was the wrong order. I then went inside and informed them that my order was incorrect. The guy was polite and fixed my order. I get home to find that the ribs were completely raw. Pink and slimy. There is no way you can tell me that the ribs are cooked when they are pink and had a sticky (tacky) feel. The macaroni and cheese had no creamy texture and was just noodles. It was basically like mac and cheese that was cooked the day before and taken out of the refrigerator and reheated. Anyone who cooks knows that reheated baked mac and cheese doesn’t have the same consistency as it does when it’s fresh. I decided to cook the pulled pork a little more since it was in contact with raw ribs. While spooning the pulled pork into the pan I noticed a “Sysco” sticker in the meat. This could have been an off day (keeping all the craziness of COVID in mind) but that doesn’t excuse being served undercooked food and having free stickers included in the meat. Roadhouse, I rated only one star because the ribs were completely raw and a “Sysco” sticker was in my pulled pork.

This was the worst food ever! Baby Back Ribs were not fresh and had been heated up several times before. They were almost petrified. Bacon on hamburger was burnt black. “Fresh Limonade” tasted of pure chemicals. We did get 30% off, however, what good is that if you can’t eat the food. Left there hungry and totally dissatisfied. No apologies or acknowledgement, David was in hiding…::::::

We had a very disappointing experience this evening. We were celebrating a special birthday and had reserved a party of 8. Several were already seated, and when my husband and I arrived with a custom made birthday cake, we were told that we could not bring it in or serve/eat it in the restaurant. Shocked, I questioned the man who delivered the news who once again told me we could NOT have it in there. I asked if we could at least show the cake to my sister-in-law and the others already seated. He allowed that, but said it had to go out afterward. My husband took it back to the car after we shared the masterpiece made by a dear friend. When we were leaving, I wanted to express to this man who is obviously the manager or owner how TERRIBLY disappointed we were that we couldn't share the cake together. Never once did he apologize, but instead he became defensive when I said that we have never had any other restaurant in Beaufort deny us bringing in a birthday cake. Sadly, this experience was bad enough that we will not be back.

Bar tender was very nice. Ordered the baby back ribs, full slab. Came out tasting weird, obvious the ribs were not fresh. Super dry and stale tasting ribs, they just put sauce on them and served it to me lol. Hardly any meat on the ribs. Ate a couple ribs and told them to keep the rest. Disappointed, was hoping for a solid local bbq place.
