CARLOS IS KING. PERIOD. Classic amazing regular slice and solid Italian staples. Their specialty pies like the spinach artichoke is to die for. Staff could not be friendlier. As a third generation Port Washington native, I really do love how consistent Carlos has remained not only with their food, but with their appearance as well -giving you the timeless feel of what a well loved and lived in old school pizzeria should be.

Great stop for pizza. The dough is very well made. One of the better tasting pies I've ever tried. Street parking available. Prices are decent with many food options if pizza isn't your thing. The seating area is smaller so if you have more than 4 people in your party, you'll have to take more than 1 table.

We've been going here since before I was born, and in all those years this place has served us the absolute best and consistent pizza. We own a small pizza shop out West, and we would have never had the inspiration for being a small town local spot without these folks to look up to. When we think of growing up in NY, this is what we remember the most fondly. Every time we go back, we make a special trip to Port Washington just for this place. I can't wait to come back again. Best pizza, best place.

First time here and it did not disappoint! We got two slices of the buffalo chicken and two slices of pepperoni and both were delicious!

Possibly the best regular NY Style pizza on Long Island and beyond. The slices are thin, and full of flavor. The crust is crisp, the sauce is excellent, and the cheese is perfect. If I were to rate it in a scale of 1 - 10, I’d give it a 9.3, and I have yet to have better. Definitely my favorite go to spot for a slice or pie. Consistently delicious!

I ordered chicken parmigiana with extra sauce at the counter. The menu painted on the board over the counter was extensive but no prices were provided. I waited about 15 minutes for table service. The meal was served on a porcelain plate with metal utensils. The spaghetti was wet with sauce with extra on top and was cooked a bit beyond al dente, with a plastic container of sauce on the side. A 6” section of hot Italian bread,sliced every 1/2 inch, with two large, hard patties of butter was wrapped in paper on the side. The chicken fillet was in pieces, some small and some larger, about 1/4-3/8 inch thick. The smaller pieces were soft and tasty. The larger pieces were hard and required the knife. The sauce was tasty and appeared to be restaurant prepared. The cost of the meal was $23.44 including a 20 oz bottle of soda. All in all tasty, but not gourmet.

I am only rating the pizza. I give the round cheese slice a 9/10. Consistently good. Good dough, good sauce and good cheese. Only 3 ingredients and yet so many mess it up. I’ve had the slasher. Very good square very good also but the round is my go to at this place.

While staying in the hospital I decided to order from a pizzeria nearby. I was researching for really good slices and this restaurant had great reviews for it! Unfortunately my food came cold but good thing the nurse was able to warm up my food for me. I never eat cold pizza but I decided to not warm up the pizza cause microwave pizza is gross and wow! I was blown away by how good the slice was and it wasn’t even hot! The wings were good but I definitely thought to myself on how I should have 3 slices lol!

We walked down the street and were halted by the smell of cheese, dough and spices coming from this place. We made a decision to try it for dinner and had no regrets. This is the kind of place where locals stop in to grab a slice of pizza throughout the night. This is the place where two Italian grandmothers will talk about how nice the delivery boy is when they see him walking back through the door. Friendly smiles and tasty pizzas (white pizzas too) will keep you coming back for more.

Terrible pizza and charging outrageous prices lol. The $1 pizzas in the city have better flavor and quality than the garbage slop served here.
