Shay was exceptional, we celebrated a birthday for my 10 year old son & we had a total of 5 kids & 2 adults & she was very patient & attentive to all of us. We also were greeted by the manager who also was very sweet & kind.

We ended up not being totally pleased with the taste and quality of our food and she made sure we didn’t have to pay for what we didn’t like. I always enjoy this location, easy access from the freeway and prompt friendly service. When I requested adjustments because of dietary restrictions , Stephanie the manager would always be accommodating! The flower pots look great and the outside is a welcome to the inside atmosphere. Thank you!

The manager, Stephanie, takes pride in making sure all guests are taken care of and seems to greet most tables during their visit. She has also improved the quality of food at the restaurant. The last time we were there, it was one of the best flavored burgers we've had in a long time.

I'm obsessed with these pretzels with cheese and mustard appetizers they've got. Applebees does them way better than anywhere else I've tried them. I was coming here to pick up my friends on the way back from the Rose Festival and I called about 10 minutes ahead to see if I could get these to go. They were waiting for me when I got here. The staff was pleasant and courteous as usual and the food was amazing!

Will return again just for Stephanie’s great service! She ensured our order was correct (this is important because we had picky eaters) and took the time to enter in four gift cards with long codes. Stephanie’s service should be the standard for all servers!

During our most recent visit to Applebee's, we had fantastic time. The service and atmosphere is always fun. We like to go watch our favorite sports teams at the bar for date night and we love to bring our kids for family dinner. Stephanie, the general manager, goes above and beyond to ask how we are doing and even knows our names! Such friendly and fun staff here. The food is great too! All around great vibes.

Such a wonderful experience!! Hungry at 10:00pm is brutal in Portland, so finding a great place to sit down for a great meal, with fantastic customer service was such a welcome surprise. Speaking of customer service, the staff at this location were absolutely wonderful; they all were friendly and attentive, and they all worked together to take care of us and support eachother...it was such a great thing to see and experience. Now on to the food....WOW! JUST WOW! We were blown away by how great everything was. This is not our first time at an Applebee's but this was the first time to, all the food, was spot on. The burger, chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Hats off to all the staff at this location! Highly Recommend!

Me and my girlfriend came here on sunday night after I had worked a 15 hour day. All I was craving was cheap drinks and wings. Not gonna lie they hit the spot. Our server was FANTASTIC I didn't catch his name but this man needs a raise! He was quick with the drinks, very friendly, and helpful with menu questions. I feel like at Applebee's some times it can be really hit and miss, but this experience was definitely a hit. Shout-out to that guy for doing a great job and making me feel welcome, and not judging me for knocking back a couple 3 dollar fireball shots. The food was quick and pretty tasty. If I'm ever back in the area and need a cheap eat and a few solid cocktails I will definitely return.

This was a pickup order. Food was great, I didn't even have to call the # to tell them I was there, they must have seen me pull up bc they brought it straight out no waiting 😊

Went with a large group of people, hostess was very sweet and helped us get a manager to get pur searing properly situated. Though finicky, Chad still made it work! He was awesome, patient and fun to talk to. Our server James was amazing as well. He was kind, made sure we got our orders perfectly and efficiently! And even when I did drop my salad on the floor by accident, he wasn't rude and assured that it was fine and he would handle it.

Hadn't been in over 20 years and we decided to head there for a late night anniversary dinner (we both forgot it was our anniversary until about 8pm...oops!) Long story short, Effie was amazing, the drinks were a nice reasonable pour for the price, everything tasted GREAT, and the manager, Stephanie, came and asked us what we thought. We could honestly say we had a great time! My only complaint is the volume. Maybe I'm just getting old, though 😁

The drinks were great. Food was on point. The lady who seated us, was either to busy, or whatever to follow through as our server like any other restaurant, but I'm still giving 5 stars because one of the guys working the bar was quick to fill in for her before we could even start complaining about the wait. Food was great, we just got appetizers artichoke and spinach dip and an order of the chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was so very good; super flavorful and went great with artichoke and spinach dip! The chips were surprisingly delicious my themselves my wife and I thought. Our party of 7 comes in once a month and several of those occasions we have had Donna as our waitress. We are a group of 7 who worked together for well over 20 years, so we love to sit and visit. Donna made us aware of the new flavors of perfect margaritas and for myself who doesn't drink what mocktails were highlighted this week. She was smiles and polite and very patient with us when we needed help to pay. She didn't stop moving and the restaurant was fairly busy for lunch on a Wednesday. The hostess was so smiley and kind, the bartender was amazing and fast with making three perfect margaritas. Hardly any wait for drinks and the coffee was fresh. We will definitely be back in to sit and visit again soon.

I had miss Donna on Wednesday, I also had her on Monday during my usual lunch date with friends. She is so kind and patient with my dad who has late stage dementia and copd. I have seen her go above and beyond for not only my dad but others as well. I have seen her cut up a steak for someone, packag food to go, she is also very knowledgeable about diet restrictions for people with food allergies. I don't eat pork during lent and she knows that so she always makes sure no pork. I've also been shown the mocktails and the vast non alcoholic drinks like prickly pear tea. I next want to try a blackberry tea. Donna is the reason I keep coming back, the team work that goes into a Monday is seamless I don't ever see anyone standing around. I also love the ultimate trio as an appetizer because we can try a variety of things and different sauces. Even though my group orders almost always the same entree everytime we are made aware of special promotional dishes as well as the customization for a unique dinner experience. We look forward to seeing her Monday for our usual lunch date. Stephanie has definitely made this restaurant a warm and welcoming place for all walks of life.

OUR WAITRESS WAS RUDE AND UGLY to the hostess right on the floor infront of customers. We came here between 5 and 6pm our waitress was a chunky girl with dark hair and braids. Everything seemed good. We placed our food order. And as we were waiting, the hostess, a very nice young lady.. set another couple down next to us. And our server exploded on her. You could tell the hostess is new.... my wife and I both have been in the industry for years... and listening to the waitress demine, the hostess was rude and ugly. It really set a bad tone for our table for most of the night after that. Luckily, the manager Ms. Anderson came by 2 say hello, and we absolutely love her. We think she is the bee's knees! On the way out, we let the hostess know she didn't do anything wrong and not to let anybody bully her. I hope somebody talks to that waitress and lets her know criticize privately.. praised publicly. That's how team work works. Had a great time today for Mothers Day. The food was amazing! The atmosphere was perfect! Zero wait time!! Seated immediately. Our server was Shay. She did her best, I guess. My wife was a server for chili's 15 years. I've watched her wait on two whole sections by herself and never miss a beat. Shay was having a very hard time with the three tables she had.. we saw her once when she took our order.But that's just about it. And then was upset because my wife did not tip her. Guuurllll knock it off. But the manager, stephanie, I believe her name was. Came in for the save. Absolutely, phenomenal.Great conversation was nice to our children. You can definitely see the difference in experience and level of commitment. Thank you for perfect service and stepping up when you see fault on your floor!! Would definitely recommend! And will definitely return!

When we were there, there was a slight wait but it was more than made up for by how well our waiter took care of us and the quality of the food. I had the bourbon street chicken and shrimp which was absolutely delectable. The chicken was moist and pulled apart with a fork and minimal effort and the shrimp complimented it perfectly. Meanwhile the garlic mashed potatoes served wonderfully to offset the slight heat from the Cajun seasonings which were exceptional. All in all we had a wonderful experience and can't wait for our next visit.

My party of three here about 9pm on a Cinco De Mayo on Friday night and were seated right away! We ordered the Shark bowl and Strawberry daiquiri and the drinks were amazing! For the appetizers we got the Wonton Tacos and Cinnamon rolls that were to die for!!! They were so moist and fresh out the oven! We ordered the double crunch shrimp, steak and Parmesan shrimp with Mac n cheese/broccoli, and a kids burger with fries and applesauce.

Really enjoyed the service (relaxed but attentive) and the food options are really quite good! Had steak fajitas, perfectly cooked as requested, also had oriental salad in our group that was tasty and fresh. Kid's meal Mac and cheese was decent and served quickly (a plus) and other foods were good and tasty as well (cheese sticks, spinach/artichoke dip + 2 orders of Fiesta lime chicken. Low point was the rice on both the chicken and fajitas orders - just quite unseasoned and pretty bland. Personally, I like many of the newish menu options!

Ordered online and the complete order was delivered. We were satisfied with our food, it was good. However, I was displeased when it was time to enjoy our shakes. 2 shakes were ordered. I opened the lid to remove the whipped cream from my husband's shake and 1/2 the cup was empty. The same for mine. It appears that 1 shake was made and divided into 2 cups.

The basic cheeseburger is not bad. Considering there is a Carl's Jr as a close neighbor it says something that I heard a few people order it just in the short time I was there. The Au Jus was good and the fries were hot and crispy. This is not high end or spectacular, but consistency in putting out good food will always make me want to give more than 3 stars. Add in decent service and I think it makes it a pretty solid 4 stars.

I love the fiesta chicken, and it's a great deal. So invite a friend or family, two meals and appetizer for $25.

Good food and service but unfortunately it is in Portland, OR and the location is now not a good area. Surrounding stores are closing because of theft issues and people are camping in tents all over the place. I feel sorry for the employees and management that the City of Portland let this area along with other areas down.

The service was good. The food was OK and the portion was all right. The salad was a surprise. Great salad and large. I will remember that. My Margarita was fair for taste. Exceptionally small though.

Got the "Pub Burger special. It's a double cheese burger with BBQ sauce n onion straws. Meat tasted like it Sat n absorbed old fridge smell. Yuck. Cheese was umm strong not tasty. Waited a long time for someone to come and even take our drink order so we definitely felt invisible, and it wasnt even busy. Someone ended up being our server even though we weren't in her section. Also we definitely were there before happy hour ended yet didn't get discounted. Disappointing.

Tried the new 10 dollar burger menu they have going on right now it's a new thing to compete with fast food places... I got the bacon cheese burger the came with fries and a drink. It had zero flavor... no mayo, ketchup or mustard on it. I had to have them bring some mayo. It was bland and dreadful. It would be good if they threw some garlic salt or johnnies seasoning on it. Fries were ok it was a small pile. I would not order again. My friend got the chicken sandwich deal and he liked it and said it was OK.

Is by the empty building that was Khols. Its like any other Applebee's. Security does patrol parking lot since most stores abandoned the plaza.

For starters I've been to this Applebee's dozens of times in my lifetime. It is still a decent place to get affordable food and drinks, but they've apparently become really stingy on their portion sizes of appetizers and sides. The boneless wings that I got last night were about half the amount that I've gotten in the past, and same with the side order of fries that I got to-go. The wait time for our food was pretty excessive, considering they were not super busy. Needless to say, this place has definitely gone down hill. Our server was great and friendly, though.

Something is horribly different about the Won Ton tacos. That was really the only thing I liked to eat here. The price is OK if you like 'microwave dinner' type food. They make super typical drinks and have average beers. I do appreciate that they sub shrimp for chicken on just about anything you want to order, but now that my tacos are gone I won't be back unless I can't find anywhere else with free WiFi. Oh yeah, there's free WiFi and there's ALWAYS seating so it's a potential alternative when Starbucks is full! Some of the staff are really nice too 👍

The onion rings were hard, for an extra 2.50... The sauce on the burger tasted sour, almost like the bourbon was not cooked out of the sauce. I ended up eating a couple bites of my burger. The bartender was great and the drinks were great, but I will not be back for the food. The chips for the spinach dip, about every 5 chips I got a bad one. It tasted like bad oil. Would like the reiterate that the service was great, but for the price of food, it was a huge disappointment.

We were a party of six with a server who had been at the vocation three days and a cook who had problems following orders. One person ordered a bourbon steak and received something else. Another ordered grill chicken oriental salad and got something different. Fries, even when replaced, were cold. Burger was overcooked. Despite all that and the length of time we waited for food, 40 mins, the server was apologetic and meals were comped by manager.

The boneless wings were well cooked. I ordered the extra spicy wings and the parmesan chicken wings. The spicy wings weren’t even that spicy to be honest needed more seasoning. However the parmesan was a little better. The mozzarella sticks were good. To end my note I’ll say that the restaurant hospitality was awesome.

Food: Food quality was good. Most of our meals were enjoyed. Service: Service was terrible. We sat for 15-20 minutes before we were greeted. Waited another 30-45 minutes for food. We were rarely checked on for refills on beverages and when we did get service we felt like we were waiting forever for everything. We were a party of 14 and I know it can be a handful, but we were not taken care of very well. Atmosphere: it was so hot. No air flow. Our server was nice, but he was very inefficient.

We celebrated my son’s 21st birthday and had a family setting of 10 people. We waited almost an hour for food just for all of the pasta bowls to be cold.

No water or extra napkins were provided. The Lemon Chicken was cold (despite the waitress warning that it could be dangerously hot), and the kids’ menu fries were over-salted and over-peppered. I could only handle it with a beer. Honestly, the fries are the only reason to visit Applebee’s—my daughter loves them, at least compared to all the brunches we’ve tried in Vancouver.

The service was very poor. We waited a long time to be attended, even though the restaurant was not crowded. It took far too long for someone to come to our table. The food was good overall, but the rice was hard and undercooked. Also, the kids’ meal came without the ice cream, and we had to ask for something that should have been included and clearly stated. I was very disappointed and sincerely hope you improve the service and attention to detail, as these things are very important for the overall experience.

Absolutely disatisfied, last night we ordered 2-25, chicken Alfredo, mozerella sticks, and had it delivered. We began to eat and turn on a movie for a date night but the food was pretty bad. Food was cold and tasted stale. My wife picked all the chicken out of her alfredo, I had a few bites of the chicken salad and the fried chicken pieces were hard, my bourbon chicken burger was the only saving grace in the whole meal but even it was cold. Applebees, what has happened???

It Sucks. My $15 hamberger was so thin I could see thru the meat and the edges were burnt. Sometimes good but usualy not good. Since I never know, I will never go there again after 30 years of service. It has been too bad for too long.

The restaurant was not as full as I would have expected for a Saturday evening so there was plenty seating. The restaurant itself was clean, good music playing, staff seemed friendly. The drinks were great but the food was just mediocre at best. We received thin steaks not cooked as ordered, the Mac n cheese was missing the bacon, and the garlic mashed potatoes my spouse ordered tasted fake and had little flavor. I could definitely not recommend this location.

Everything was good up til the point I looked at my receipt 🧾 and I thought 💭 when I called and spoke to the bartender I asked what time they closed at , he said 12 midnight but they stop serving at 11:30 pm . I asked what specials they have that night he said everything is half off Alex was his name , But the manager lied and told me his name was EDDIE because I was putting a bad review in and didn’t want his name published on this review lol 🤣 I guess he thought I was slow or dumb for not knowing he told me his name several times over the phone and when I came in his name tag had ALEX on it smh lol 🤣 . So I asked for a manager because me and my kids rushed up to Apple bees to order some food because we were hungry. We got there after 11:30pm its was 11:49pm when sat down and ordered our food I left the server a nice tip . But I wasn’t happy when my receipt 🧾 came and I was under the impression that I was told my food was half off and I spoke to a manager there and he didn’t approve of it which I couldn’t believe when I was told by the bartender ALEX that everything was half off is why again me and my kids rushed out to go dine out and eat there to have dinner and enjoy our selves for a chance. But no we just couldn’t . But last time I was here the lady manager approved my request do to customer satisfaction and that’s how it’s supposed to be at all times . That was 3-4 years ago I mean this guy manager couldn’t even accommodate and say hey you know what , for the inconvenience I will do a half off next time you order or the next time you order it’s free on me . Just simply nothing leaving me hanging dry and I had the impression he was a nice stand up guy that would do right by his customers but he didn’t prove to me that he would that night so I told him this will be my last time eating here ever and I meant that ‼️🤏🏾 Oooh and the manager name is “ CARLOS “ I’ll never eat here again thank you Apple 🍎 Bees 🐝

If I could give it less than a star I would. My family and I just landed in Portland and were all hungry. One of our favorite spots is Applebees. We have a party of 7 and walked in at 1 pm on a Monday. The place reeked of pee and no one acknowledged us for 10 minutes even though there was only two groups of people in the entire restaurant. A waitress finally comes over and tells us she’s going to put some tables together. For another 10 minutes we watch her go between the POS system and setting the tables. The last straw was her finally setting up the tables and then deciding to go behind the bar without even looking at us. A combined 25 minutes without even ordering food and we decided to leave. As we were walking out the door, the rude lady goes “we finally got your table put together”. NO THANKS! We took our business to Wingstop. Way better customer service and a cleaner environment. So dissapointed.

The service was unacceptable, and the night manager along with the staff displayed a complete lack of professionalism. This establishment has sharply declined in quality and no longer meets expectations.

I ordered medium well done steak 8oz and got a medium rare steak. I also ordered bone in parmesan wings and got bone out and made me late for my appointment. I Asked for a refund and they insisted on giving me the wings. The wings were over cooked and shrivelled. This is the second time they messed up my order in the last 3 days. The wings are on the dry side.

Disgusting. I wouldn't call this food but it's obvious no one here cares about their work in the slightest.

Overall bad customer service. Whole place will get better if employees learn an example from friendly outgoing Trader Joes cashiers, for example. Food is OK. But some employees (especially older white ladies) give off unwelcoming vibes, or maybe it's just me over analyzing...IDK

Terrible customer service, the bartender (Eric) was much more interested in doing his closing duties than servicing his customers and wasn’t willing to clean the dirty booth so that we could sit at a booth rather than a table. The burger came with literally a “spot” of sauce. Our waitress (Denise) was nice and gave a good effort of making sure we got timely refills.

They took long to do everything. Long few minutes almost 10 minutes to take my order. Food took long . Coffee mugs and plates were dirty had black fingerprints all ones them , I attached a picture. So cheap with coffee cream , only gave you 3 for each , the second refill took forever that she had forgotten about it she served us at the end of our meal. After when we ask for a refill for coffee. I basically ate without my drink. That place was so cold it was freezing, the other people inside were also complaining about the cold it was, yet they never turned it back a bit. The food was ok I didn’t eat it Al only took two bite, the burger. As mentioned above that the coffee was served so late that , I had finished my meal. Then she remembered. However that coffee was not good because gave me the runs to the bathroom right after and that day I had diarrhea twice after leaving the restaurant. She only gave us 3 cream for two coffees cups!! They should serve a few like every where else. Customer service was horrible this time. Actually not going back or recommending any to go eat here. For this the second time we come and get bad service first time was okay not the second time no I’m paying for food. Either way . The place was too cold. The waiter had to many people to serve for her self: the lady at the door she help out more not just standing there: maybe people would get better service. Idk just an opinion.

My family and I came here for dinner tonight and the food and service was a bit disappointing. Our server didn’t take our drink/food order until about 10-15 minutes after we were seated. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and mozzarella sticks which was pretty decent. We also got the whiskey bacon burger and chicken parmesan fettuccine Alfredo. The burger was ok but it had huge chunks of onions and lettuce on it which, made it hard to eat. It looked like the cooks made the food in a hurry. The chicken Parmesan was dry and the fettuccine looked and tasted like it was sitting out for too long. After our waiter took our order, he never came back to our table to check on us. We don’t plan on going back to this location again.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Applebee’s and will not be returning. My son ordered a burger and waited over 20 minutes for his food. When it finally arrived, it had bacon on it, which we clearly do not eat. Unfortunately, he already took a small bite before noticing. We politely asked for a replacement without bacon. They said they would remake it, but he then waited another 15 minutes. When the second burger came out, it had one huge piece of bacon on it again. We clearly explained no bacon the first time, so this was very frustrating. They attempted to remake it a third time, and when it came out, the burger was burned. At that point, we asked to speak to the supervisor and requested a refund, as we no longer wanted the food. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the supervisor was rude and insisted on making yet another burger, even though we clearly said we did not want it anymore. My son ended up coming home without eating any food at all. I want to be clear that the waiter was very kind and professional, and I do not blame him at all. This issue was due to poor kitchen execution and terrible customer service from the supervisor. Because of this experience, I will never bring my family back to this Applebee’s again. Customer service was horrible, except for the waiter.

This was a very disappointing experience, I have had both good & bad experiences here but this was the worst. I ordered three cheese penne & my bf ordered a burger. I asked for chicken on the side which was provided however I pasta did not get tomatoes on top & I didn't get a breadstick. Pasta was cold & had to be microwaved. The burger was ok, fries tasted about 20 minutes old. We asked for Mayo on the side & received lemon vinaigrette... I reached out to the help email to get a refund & have yet to hear back.
