This place is a true gem. The food is amazing (clearly homemade sauces and desserts) and the service was impeccable! After trying dozens of Italian restaurants in the area - I am a very picky former New Yorker - this place finally met my standards of a true Italian restaurant. Wait staff was attentive and full of suggestions and the prices were totally reasonable. In fact, cheap for the quality of food we received. The owner even came over to introduce himself. You could drop this place onto Bleaker street and it would be successful. I honestly can't rave enough about the place and will definitly be back with friends. If you like real Italian food this place is a must!

My wife and I had a great experience. The food is absolutely delicious and prices are reasonable. You have to have the homemade tiramisu best ever. We will be back.

This family operated restaurant is truly a treasure. The atmosphere as soon as you walk inside is one of friendliness and peacefulness. I have tried numerous meals from the menu and have never been dissapointed. The entree potions are large, the salad always crisp and fresh and their home made tiramisu is the best I have ever tasted. They also have a full bar and will make you the drink of your choice. If you live anywhere in Ct a ride to Campagna's for dinner will not leave you dissapointed.

Always excellent Italian food at reasonable prices. The bartenders and waitstaff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive. A rare place where you can get a substitution when ordering an entree. The herbed dipping oil and homemade bread is fantastic.

I have had to travel all over Europe for business and have dined at many restaurants over the world, this was a fabulous local find. The service and atmosphere was phenomenal and the food was delicious. We ordered veal scaloppini, braised ribs, pasta puttanesca, meatballs and arrabbiata. Everyone enjoyed the flavors and the wonderful staff. When I return to CT to visit family we will be sure to dine at this family run gem.

During a difficult time for our family, Campagna Restaurant showed us a lot of empathy and grace. We needed a space at the last minute for a funeral luncheon and the chef made himself available by providing me with his direct number. The space was set up nicely, service was prompt, and everyone enjoyed their food. Great value for the amount of food we received as well. Our family is very grateful, thank you for making a difficult day easier for us.

We’ve eaten at Portofinos in Berlin many many times and have held several functions there. We discovered that the head chef at Campagna used to be the head chef at Portofinos. Same family, same excellent food, very well trained wait staff, lovely atmosphere. We had the Tues night $30 five course meal special and everything was outstanding. We had enough leftovers for 2 additional meals! A great value. We will certainly be back!

Our first time here. We sat at the bar and had the escargot and two old-fashioneds. Food, drinks and service were spot on. I would highly recommend this small little place tucked in along the side of the road and we will be back for more. A+

Went here with family for Easter. There were 30+ of us and we made reservations more than a month in advance. They put us all the way in the back against the wall at 2 separate tables (understandable). Some of us were asked about drinks and others the waitress did not even bother. She didn't tell everyone the specials unless she stood at the end of 2- 10 foot tables and expected everyone to hear her which was nearly impossible because the entire room was filled with other guests at other tables. I got stuffed sole and it was definitely from frozen. Their meatballs were also frozen meatballs. And being at an Italian restaurant you would expect home made meatballs. The entrees were hit or miss. Someone had beef short ribs and raved about it but the mashed potatoes definitely tasted like they were from a powdered box. They were completely tasteless. Not very kids friendly. They used a plastic to go cup that you would get salads or soup from a Chinese restaurant from as their "plastic kids cup" it was a great laugh though. To top it off, they had a bowl of chocolate eggs at the entrance. Not sure what happened to them but some chocolate was exposed and was a grayish color. My brother went to grab one until he noticed the appearance and backed away. One of the workers saw him do this and said "oh they are fine they just melted and rehardened." Ummm no thank you. If you go here with a lot of people they refuse to split the bill and give you a bill for the whole table and you have to figure it out. Im not sure if they just didn't want to split it up or that's how they actually do things.
