Lovely place with interesting decor! Quite a bit of variety on the buffet. Delicious food!!
Anyone who has reviewed my very well earned scathing review a few months ago of " Foxy Roxies " probably would wonder if we could ever give a favorable opinion of any local eateries in our Beautiful North Country Region ? Well ,,, WE CAN AND THIS IS THE FIRST OF THREE . I will in each of those 3 very positive findings also caution you again about the horrendous experience mentioned above ! I chose to write this GLOWING REVIEW FIRST simply because my wife and I have frequented this Great Establishment over 50 times in the past 15 months and use it as a super safe home base for eating outside of our home ! The Asian Buffet & Mongolian Grill has been an Oasis to us in value , quality , consistency and overall personal service by all there - all the staff and the supervisors / owners . We are treated like Family and enjoy the personal interactions with each and every one there . My greatest problem each and every time we go there is that even with my fasting before I anxiously walk through their doors , THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH ROOM IN MY APPETITE TO TASTE EVEN A SMALL PORTION OF EVERY ITEM THERE I LOVE , THERE ARE SIMPLY TOO MANY GREAT TASTING FOODS TO CHOOSE FROM . It usually takes at least three visits in a row to adequately sample all my favorites , I AM REALLY ADDICTED !!! You will be to once you given them a fair minded try . There simply is no comparison locally where you can find such a GREAT DIVERSITY OF QUALITY FOOD at a bargain price again and again and again ! But there seems to be no need to worry that they will anytime soon change their ratios of great foods at great / reasonable pricing , they have been there well over 12 years making people very happy ! To all , hearty appetite but please do as I always do , plate only what you can and will eat . Please don't waste any of their wonderful food simply because it is an " All You Can Eat " atmosphere . It is a sin to waste and even greater sin to waste such quality prepared foods . As always , ENJOY , ENJOY , ENJOY !
I was in town visiting friends. The restaurant was very nice. The food was very good. My friends picked up the check so I am unsure of the prices.
Not fancy, but the food is delicious. Have a Yummy bowl, choose your own ingredients. Sushi is great too!
The food at this place taste better than most of your "run of the mill" Chinese buffet style restaurants. Able to eat what was on the plate vs having to throw half of it away because it doesn't taste like it looks. BIG deal for me. LOL. Also bubble tea and alcohol served. Big plus for the buffet! Keep up the good work guys!
We enjoyed everything we tried. Service was great. Definitely will go again.
Very yummy food the service was wonderful and the atmosphere was moderately loud but still able to talk
very good selection of food. The flavors where excellent. Desert was really good. Wait staff were quick, friendly, and polite.
Always enjoy the food here. The Potsdam residences are lucky to have a Chinese food place with such a large selection of food. The servers are always friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant makes for a great eating experience.
We really enjoy dining here as locals.I have been here for lunch and dinner. It's such a nice place to sit down and relax. The all you can eat buffet makes it more enjoyable. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Bathrooms are always clean. Very reasonable prices for the food. Great job!
They had dishes on the buffet I haven't tried before. Even dishes I've had often exceeded my expectation. Service is great, staff is friendly, restaurant it's clean and also interestingly decorated. Dinner for two cost $40 with one soda, so a little pricier. Worth it. It's on par with the best Asian restaurants I've been to, not just buffets.
We were seated quickly and the food is delicious for Americanized Asian food. The atmosphere is very inviting and beautiful and the music is at just the right volume where it's not distracting. With Four boats of regular dinner foods, a case for sushi with the ability to have it be made in front of you and a desert table, it's a great place for lunch or dinner!
I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid, barely able to lean over the railing on their fountain! ever since I could remember, my family has always loved this place as my mom watched it get built. It's a beautiful place, polite staff, and a large selection of food very reasonable prices even does take out at a decent price. I have always loved this restaurant, and my family goes there about 1-2 times a month highly recommended.
We got takeout, it was so quick, so hot and fresh. I love how nice the vegetables are, and authentic the noodles are. It's not greasy like other takeout. I can't believe we waited this long to try it. I am in love! Well done!
Great food and service & the kids love the decorations! Wontons are often overcooked though, so keep that in mind if u like that soup.
Best buffet around deff my most favorite,my family has been eating here for 22 yrs now.. without fail, great service and wonderful assortment of food.. great place for lunch or dinner..I would recommend this fantastic buffet
Went yesterday = & CAN ONLY GIVE 1 STAR FOR SERVICE ( DEVASTATINGLY ) WHY = I WAS STILL EATTING & YOUNG WAITTRESS = WHILE I WAS EATTING TOOK MY NAPKINS & SILVERWEAR RIGHT AWAY FROM ME = AS I WAS EATTING = LIKE WHAT 😳= I WAS SPEECHLESS = & SHOCKED = THAT WAS EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL & SO RUDE 😢 (( FIRST TIME EVER IN MY LIFE HAS THAT EVER HAPPENED !!!!!!!!! NOT SURE WE WILL COME BACK = SORRY BUT TRUE
Took my brother and his girlfriend out for his birthday dinner. Even surprised him with the happy birthday song and a piece of cake... Everything was so good. The buffet was was full, everything was hot and tasty. I only visit every 4-6 months but, this is one of the restaurant's I love to go to when I'm up in the north country!!!
Food was as expected (spicy, sugar and salt), the dishes well prepared, not dry. Overall I liked it. I'll go there again. The entrance could be a little better cared for; better snow removal outside, better lit inside.
I haven’t been there in a few years. But there was always a variety of fresh food. I have never been sick from eating there nothing has been stale. No major complaints I can think of.
Awesome food, great selection and very attentatative staff.
Food was good and hot, literally steaming coming off it. Lots of different but traditional options. They cleared the plates quickly and we're very attentive. Over all great experience. 4/17/25
Fantastic selection of hot hearty dishes. Sushi was excellent as well. The customer service is very good.
Plenty of fine foods👍the owner & her employees are very nice 👍 Reasonable price 👍
This is one of the most amazing Buffets I've ever been to they've literally got everything you could ever want This place is very big and very clean they have bathrooms they have a lot of parking They have a lot of seating they have handicap parking they have very good service they have a lot to drink they have alchohol they have almost everything you could imagine on a Chinese and Asian buffet they have fresh raw food that they can cook in front of you and they have almost every kind of sushi I have ever seen in its own case salad, dessert, ice cream, cookies, etc literally everything We tried a bunch of stuff and everything was awesome They had the best lo mein we have had in years it is really hard to find Good lo mein And they have all kinds of everything this is a kid friendly place and everyone should go here
Honestly, this place is probably the best Asian buffet in this part of New York. My family and I travelled here from Gouverneur (an hour away) just to go to this place over some of the closer options. They have a great atmosphere inside thhat you can tell they put a lot of time and though into. Their buffet is massive with all of the usual choices. Zero complains about their mongolian grill either. Also, they have a beer menu which is unlike all of the local Asian buffets!
I absolutely love this place. If you're looking for a buffet with delicious, fresh and authenticate food: look no more. Also important to mention is the restaurant itself. Inside this restaurant is the coolest, most beautiful and wholesome interior setting you can find. The interior design is sublime, from the half walls with swooping moulding to the picturesque water fountain, truthfully gorgeous in there. Everything is clean, spacious and perfectly set together. I love it. And most importantly the food: the menu is expansively diverse, they have your food ready super fast and the meals they present are as generously portioned as they are delectable. If you go inside for the buffet, the food is always fresh. This is impressive due to the plethora of options they have available. If you order for takeout, it's very easy to find something to like off the menu with over 150 options. AMAZING. Thank you ever so very much Asian Buffet and Mongolian Grill, I sincerely appreciate what you bring to the table. (the chicken in the picture was eaten, I couldn't wait)
Amazing Asian Buffet !! Garden fresh ingredients and savoury dishes. Delicious Drink menu, appetizing fare, excellent cheerful service, beautiful decor amidst great atmosphere. Hands down the best value for the money in the town. P.S. We recieved one complimentary beverage (Free Beer) on Father's Day.
Wide variety of food, lots of seating, especially when compared to available parking. Food is generally good, but on slow days may sit a little too long, drying it out. Great value for the price.
Fast service, and great selection. For the most part the food is pretty good here. Once in a while something looks gross, but there are many choices , so i move on with my life any try something else:)
Stopped in after a graduation. Pleasantly suprised at the assortment of fresh hot & cold dishes. All food was well prepared and tasty. Dishes clearly identified by title. All areas clean and easily accessible to all dishes. The restaurant is big and the staff attentive & helpful. Will go back.
Stopped by for lunch around 12:30pm. I was seated extremely quickly. Most of the food was hot, the general tsos and sesame chicken weren't my favorite but the Thai chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and dumplings were all really good. The hot tea was also delicious.
Typical fare, plus a few extras (IE more shrimp dishes, and a couple different meat varieties). Good staff, did great with refilling drinks and taking dishes away, and friendly. For 2 ppl with drinks(soda) it was about $21 on a weekday before 4 PM.
Buffet was great but the restaurant was extremely cold.
This is a nice choice of Asian food. I went there during radiation, their Sushi and Hot and Sour soup always hit the spot. I dont i understand how people can call it expensive. Do you get that much and diverse food anywhere else? Prepared from real ingredients, i stead hyper processed frozen food that you get in most other places? Can you imagine working day in and out in the kitchen or the serving area? These folks are working superhard, and many folks who go there gorge themselves.
We like going here when in town. Prices have gone up so much we have had to go less, now. We been going the year and things were fine. The last visit, jello all-over our seat, and dirty black front door, and food wasn't as fresh as usual, we cleaned our own seat and enjoyed anyway
Just wish it wasn't so expensive lately. That's our world now though.
The food is great and really hits the spot when you're craving delicious greasy stuff. My only note is that the waitress wouldn't let us leave until everyone at the table tipped which was weird and felt like false imprisonment, but it's chill🫡
I have enjoyed many meals at the Asian Buffet, but...... Today I realized just how dingy the restaurant looks. The fountain needs a good scrub and the rugs.... Well, just no. There is no saving them. As it was late-ish in a Friday, I figure this is the reason, the food was a bit cold. But still yummy.
Lots of meat choices. Peking steak, garlic spare ribs, and duck to name a few. If you're looking for veggies the selection is a little slim, but the green beans and been sprouts have good flavor. They do have a hibachi grill and a sushi (sashimi) selection that are decent. Crab legs are available on the weekend. The store is well kept and clean but temperature control seems to be a constant battle. The dining area is chili in the winter time and muggy in the summer. Dress accordingly. All factors considered, if we are going out for a Chinese fusion experience we prefer going here.
Typical Chinese/Asian style buffet. A little pricey on the weekend. The consider "adults" as any over 10 I think and they charge extra on Fri & Sat when they have crab legs out ... so our family of 5 may cost us nearly $70 to eat there if we all order sodas (which are $2 each)
Good prices and good selection. Sometimes they have duck, they almost always have salmon. They offer a full sushi bar. You have to be careful when you take a plate because they aren't always clean.
Very cold sitting next to the window. Stuffed roll type thing - I asked if there was seafood in it, she pointed to the sign which just said rolls, found crab meat in it and I have a seafood allergy-it should be labelled. Older lady was swiffering the ceiling above the food section, at that point we were out. Dusting above food with a broom/Swiffer?? Unsanitary and plain gross.
me and two friends went in for dinner. the staff was very friendly and told us that if we needed more of anything they'll make it for us. we all ate our first plate and went up for more food, but they had cleaned up and we weren't able to eat anymore. we were all looking forward to dessert mostly, but they had taken away all the trays of dessert and food. the food was fantastic however, just dissapointed we didn't get to try any dessert.
It is what it is for the North Country, they make the food based on locals limited pallet but it's good. Never had a problem with service as they are very nice and polite.
The waitstaff in the restaurant are rude. Some are pleasant but most are miserable. The food wasn't labeled correctly but what I ate seemed to be ok the chicken was hard. The donuts were delicious 😋.
August 30, Dinner Buffet. Some food, won-ton soup, shrimp, rice, and quite more very good. Other stuff very dry like been on buffet too long, like Rangoon, Spring role even sesame chicken and vegetables.. Fresh sushi very good. Not so fresh, bad. Take your chances, both available. Friendly folks ...By 4:30 pm, fresh food was coming out fast . Very large selection of foods. Section by windows, we sat there. Very dirty. Food area seems clean enough. Looks like some areas are more updated than others. Considering all one can eat for 2 at $36 it's easy to accept no throwing out food. But having a clean bathroom and floors should be easy enough. Overall, I'll pass next time in town.
Here for a craft show, went on Friday night after day one. We were starving and wanted easy comfort food. Walked in and told the host two, she nonchalantly handed me take-out containers. I said no we want to eat in. We sat and our waiter got out drinks. The food was okay. Some of it was bland or hard. Overall not impressed, our waiter only got our drink order and cleared the table. No additional drinks were asked about. The highlight of my meal was the cheese pizza as it seemed to be the freshest thing there
Better than most Asian buffets for selection. Still, greasy & salty overall which seems to be a hallmark for Asian buffets. All veggies were dripping with oil or an oily sauce. Several pork items, tasty but all were tough & chewy. Beef items were lacking in taste other than the sauces they were in. Chicken items were better offerings but also tended to be greasy. There were a few seafood entrees which were best for taste & quality. Sushi was acceptable. Did not try desserts. Gave it 3 stars for variety and service which were good. Biggest obstacle to trying this place: no prices on the website. Rather, there is an option to “request a quote”. Really?! How hard is it to list prices vs respond to a quote request? FYI: Friday dinner buffet was $15 - reasonable.
The food has potential the taste was there and there was excellent variety but and it's a big but all of the chicken dishes were way over cooked and very dry. A shame.
Service is prompt but unfriendly and impersonal most of the food is okay but nothing is worth talking about to be honest they could definitely do better. I really can't recommend anything off the food list below, it's all edible but nothing is worth writing home about
We like to visit this place once in a while for the convenience and sheer volume of choices in the buffet. Everyone will find something they like, great authentic Asian bbq pork, fried rice, gyoza, soups, you name it. Plus of course lots of western food like french fries. Decor is a bit dated but still very charming. Staff are fast and even though I had to ask like three people, they were totally accommodating to my toddler once they understood my request. The only reason this place is 3star is because we always seem to get upset stomachs after eating here. We've been a few times and there has been no exception yet. If you have a strong stomach, then you'll be pleased. Worth a try!
I used to enjoy visiting Asian Buffet & Mongolian Grill in Potsdam, especially for their lunch buffet. They always had a great variety of options, and the food was consistently good and fresh. It was a nice spot for a quick and satisfying meal.
Pretty cheap for three friends to go together. I think I paid like. $60/$70ish with tip? I liked it but definitely would be better during lunch time where things are a little fresher. If you have a citrus allergy though I'd stay away with from their specialty drinks. My friend learnt it the hard way but that's on us, not them.
Very dull and very stale lately. Prices go up but the quality has gone downhill. Will not be wasting my time , also got sick from it every time I've eaten there so it's not good.
Probably one of the best Asian buffets ever, and I've been to 100s. Really nice staff, tons of seafood, and great price. Update**** place has changed. The food is not as fresh as it should be, keeping old dishes on heating elements too long without replacing. The staff was really rude. I had to raise my hand to ask for a refill on water after waiting forever. I felt really uncomfortable and they demanded I tip at the table by gesturing the receipt and pointing to the tip line on it from credit card purchase. I said I just needed to get change. Waitress rolled eyes and complained and had co-worker join in. Have them second chance today, they are still rude.
We were in town and wanted a late afternoon meal. Other restaurants were not open at that time. The buffet seemed like a good idea, and they were open. We were greeted and well-provided for by the staff. The buffet was full of many choices and well-stocked. However, much of the selections we chose were either dry or overly cooked. This can occur when the trays have been sitting out for too long. Despite this, we were able to select a few dishes that were okay. We remained disappointed in the end and look forward to trying other local restaurants when we are in the area again.
It's a nice decorated place, hoewever the cooked meat dishes were dry and older, maybe we stopped by at the time the food were not frashed, because it was much later after lunch hour. The hot tea was good. The service was okay.
I've been here before and the food was great, this time the food was bland. Only a few items were tasty. I was disappointed in the rest of the food, some was cold some mushy.
Food not very good, chicken tasted like cornstarch. Should focus on less choices, but good quality. Buffet in Malone is way better. A good note for the ice cream choices.
I had the buffet it was 4:45. The food was not that good. Many choices bit I didn't find anything I liked. Usually at a buffet I can find something but not so today.
If I could give the service a -100 stars I would!! The woman, child and man what are behind the counter are always rude and nasty.. Hibachi dude was lovely and made me a fantastic dish!! I stay in this area for work, this is the closest decent food nearby. Maybe next time we will stay at a different hotel..
I came here twice before deciding to leave a review. I had high hopes that my second experience would be different. It wasn’t. Presentation is great, lots of variety in dishes and colors. Flavor is pretty good. Texture? Overwhelmingly terrible. Every meat dish I had was very dry and difficult to chew- I mean, jaw achingly difficult. I’m not sure how this is possible, we didn’t come at a time where I would have thought that the food had been left on the warmer for too long? Not sure what’s up.
The food is not hot and the waitresses don't even give us time to finish our plate before they clears the table. It's very annoying. The ice cream is so not cold that its very soft
From the top, bad experience. I should've walked out from the get-go. I won't be back. The hostess told me my registered, restrained service animal wasn't welcome. Then he was basically quarantined to the area around my chair. I was not allowed to take him near the buffet nor to the restroom. Then, the server was side-eyeing him, myself, my companion and her toddler nephew. She was in a huge, loud, visible hurry to get us out. Not only us, but the table next to us. She tried, unsuccessfully, more than once, to remove plates from their table while the man was STILL EATING OFF OF IT?! The price was grossly out of balance with the type and quality of food offered. The cleanliness (indoor) was basic, only what had to be done to pass inspection. Outdoor was a different story. Empty plastic water bottles, empty hand sanitizer bottles, cups from other restaurants, long ago discarded disposable masks and napkins of various description littered the parking area and grass areas surrounding it.
Food OK, especially if you want amount over great flavor. Got 2 lunch buffets at $11.99 =$23.98 + $1.61 tax = $25.69. Bill was$28.06. Waitress "could not understand" that she over charged, just wrote $28.06 again. I gave up, paid it, decreased her tip. Why worry, I won't be back.
Decided to stop in for dinner after a movie yesterday...around 5. When we walked we were not greeted by the 2 women at the front desk cordially. They seemed to be perhaps arguing and dismissed us until another woman realized we were there and seated us. She ended up being our server. She was very pleasant, however struggled to understand our drink order. Came back 2 times to double check our bubble tea order. I do not reccomend those as they both came with a very watered down taste. We had the strawberry and the mango. The buffet was mediocre. My biggest complaint is that the food was not kept hot, lukewarm at most, and was cold by the time you got to it on your plate. That made me leary of what I was choosing to eat. Some of the food was tough like it had sat to long. As a lover of sushi, I made a hard pass , it did not appear fresh. The crab legs were cold and overcooked and had a funny taste. The lo mein, chicken and broccoli, green beans, and other more popular dishes were warmer as they were being replaced while we visited, so I stuck to those. Those were decent. Dessert buffet was lacking. I love a good chinese buffet, but I'd be hard pressed to revisit this one again unless they addressed the food quality and temperature issues. There are much better options for price in Potsdam.
This review is difficult, more so to write as my parents love this place! I, however, have a very different opinion of this. Somethings I had did not seem fresh, more freezer taste, and just very weird. Service was meh, and unimpressive. Pictures are the things I picked, and many items were left on my plate. I feel horrible about wasting food.
We ate their on 6-26-17 their steam tables had not been on very long (11:30 we arrived )and the food was luke warm to cold. they did turn the heat up on them when we brought it to their attention and we were still charged full price. it was the first bad experience we have had their.
The interior decor is very nice and interesting. Maybe I showed up when they were having an off day, but the food at the buffet was not tasty and it was dry - from sitting out a long time? Was not happy at all with the food and to add to that, there were very limited non-meat selections. Not planning to stop by here again.
If I could I would give this place 0 stars. I took my family out to eat for dinner we arrived at 5pm. ALL the food was old! The noodles were brown and the meat was all dried up and hard. I Went to pay the bill and it was $49 so I let the young boy and the old lady at the counter it was old. He told her what I said and she said like what food? So I said the meat and ect. She went to greet a couple that came in and she rammed her shoulder into my back! They didn’t offer an apology or money off for the horrible food. The young boy just kept asking if I wanted a receipt. Beyond annoyed and upset.
The noodles tasted like dish water. .y cup had a black ring on the outside of my cup the I could wipe away but not the point. I have loved this place for years. But this isn't the first time this has happened
Found a live flea in my food. Not from me, I had no pets at the time. I complained and was told it was my flea! Really. I refused to pay or eat the food. I was screamed at and told I had to pay. Nope, didn’t eat it, didn’t pay for the bugs or the food and left. A sneeze guard on the serving tables doesn’t keep fleas from jumping off people into the food. I will never eat at a buffet again, especially this one. And yes, there were three of us eating and my two friends saw the flea crawl in my food.
Only nice thing about this restaurant is the way it looks. The food was definitely not up to standard. Chicken was dry as hell, the shrimp weren't deveined so there was lots of poop in them 👍🏻 delicious. My husband had sushi, most of which were partially frozen which confirms that it' was not fresh. I probably wouldn't have even wrote a review except for the fact that it cost 41 dollars for some seriously disgusting food. I couldn't even finish one plate because my stomach was turning. The quality of this place has gone downhill big time 👎🏻
We used to live up there and go here regularly. My wife took her mother as a special Mother’s Day trip and checked pricing before going. According to the most updated pricing their visit should have been $35. That’s $15 for her and her mother and $5 for our 16m old son who was on the trip with them (used to be 2 and under was free). No Mother’s Day event or “special pricing” anywhere. They got the bill and found out the price was hiked because of Mother’s Day to $24 for each adult and $6 for our son who used to be a free age as he could only pick small amounts from the adult plates. So a $35 trip turned to $60 with no warning or signage. And nothing abnormally special out on the menu. They hiked the price just for Mother’s Day.
Thus is usually our go to place when we are in the area and the food if good. We went there Saturday 8/5 and all was going well until dessert. We got the coconut macaroons and had just taken a bite of one when I noticed something on the edge of one. To my horror it was little black ants on both of our cookies. I discreetly called over the young girl who was busing tables to show her. She had the same response as I did and took the plate away. She came back in and dumped the plate into the bucket she was using to clean off plates. On my way to the bathroom I saw another worker with tongs flipping the cookies over checking them. She motioned me over to where the cookies were and tried to tell me that it was chocolate that was on the tongs someone used to pick up the chocolate dessert next to the cookies. I told her no it was ants. I told her the young girl saw them. She said the cookies are frozen. I told her there were still ants on them. There were 3 of us that saw them in addition to her. We paid her and left.
I will never eat there again. I’ve never had such rude or nonexistent customer service in my life. I asked the young lady busing tables if there was meat in the egg rolls and she said “I don’t know.” That’s it. Didn’t offer to find out. I understand you are busy. But she was literally running around. Jogging as if she’d get deported if she didn’t work hard enough. She would run into customers and not say sorry. Another woman who brings the cart to refill the buffet would shout some word at us all and run into us if we didn’t move fast enough. When I dine here I feel like I’m just a dollar bill to these people. My grandparents were immigrants with limited English but they had manners and knew how to treat people. And on top of that, the food was terrible. My grandmother is half Indonesian. I know how Asian food is supposed to taste. I hope they go out of business.
First time I went it was great. We went today and it was so cold the windows had ice on them and all our food was cold. Alot of stuff was undercooked. Not sure ill go here again. 3 adults payed 55$ Update 10/20 nothing was fresh . Salmon was swimming in water and the sushi is just dry and sad. Was 40 dollars for 2 adults for dinner. It was 53° and some how there was still ice on the windows. I will not be going here again
The ice cream and the sting beans were the best. The rest was not worth it. Food was either mushy or beyond well cooked. Egg rolls were mushy. It was busy too so it hadn't sat long.
Beautifully decorated. Food was terrible, as there was a funky taste to everything. Freezer-burnt gushness. Waitress could not understand our drink orders. I used to love this place…expensive crappy meal.
Went here yesterday with a large group, the waitress was frustrating because there was a language barrier she kept coming over and asking us what are drink order was at least five times. we had no problem repeating it, but we didn’t understand why they kept asking us five times. when we went up to the buffets, I had at least counted at least four times good separate occasions that the plates had food stuck to them that were in with the clean pile of plates. The dessert buffet was very lackluster. The ice cream machine was broken, but the ice cream contents were out. The mushrooms tasted fishy. The sushi did not smell good in a couple of pieces of sushi tasted sour. My daughter said her sushi tasted fishy. we felt very, rushed it like they were trying to get us out.
Worst food ever, salty ,hard, very sweet .The staff who is in the cashier is not friendly not even smilimg when we enter. If your looking for a buffet go to Malone county NY.the best and fresh!
Food was very dry! Very old looking like they hadn't changed it in awhile
They have been rude in the past but this time everyone was very nice. I do have to say that my ex husband and daughter ate there a while ago and both were sick after. Didn’t know if the food had caused it or not. Then this time both of my daughters were sick after eating there. So I’m kind of thinking it was the food. I don’t think we are going to give it a third chance. The food was cold and didn’t seem fresh at all. Both times I went there they charged me for an adult when my daughter is only 9 years old. I corrected it this time. Wouldn’t recommend.
Only reason I come here is because someone I’m with wants to come but everything is so gross and cold and their solution is to put out a microwave with a sign that says you can reheat the food if it’s cold?! You’re going to get people sick. We don’t want a microwave we want food put out more regularly! Maybe you need new heated tables but even that wouldn’t help that all the chicken is hard and only tastes sweet
A long time ago this place was okay. When I say okay I mean it was like a 3.5 - 3.8 stars out of 5 stars. The last 2 times I went here the food was awful. Before the other day the last time I ate there was a year and half ago. Both times the food had a strange taste to it. I think it's the cooking oil they use. Also a lot of the food on the buffet was dry, cold, or both. Don't waste your time or money here.
I would give more than 1 star, but when I was eating my food I came across a piece of orange chicken with a bug IN the breading. I told the waitress who was VERY concerned. She brought me to the front counter where the woman began yelling at me that it was just the sauce. Sauce doesn’t have legs. It looked like a small cockroach. Google images said it is a bed bug. You want to yell at someone trying to help you? I paid for my food. I didn’t ask for anything for free. I was whispering for Pete’s sake. You started yelling “no bugs no bugs” like I didn’t show you it. Learn to be more professional. Get rid of the pan of chicken. I was showing you so you knew there was a problem
Terrible place to eat .food was cool not hot .staff was not friendly. The person ahead of the buffet poked around the food stirring it up but never took the temp to see if it was hot or not .We told our server that it would be 2 seniors on one bill and 2 seniors and 2 small children on the other . Well they brought the bill all in one . This is third time in 8 months we tried it so 3 stickes and your OUT !!
The food was sour tasting..the potatoes were so hard my daughter wouldn’t eat them..! And just wondering how many other people they have over charged without them saying anything.. definitely isn’t $9 for a 2yr old to eat..this place is truly gone downhill.. and when we say something they don’t care
