Best Italian food in Canton, I am from downstate closer to NYC and this pizza is the only pizza up by school that tastes good.

My wife and I went here with our family the other day for the first time. It was a great restaurant. The owner, who is super nice, stepped in when my four year old was having a mini meltdown about not getting french fries and had the kitchen make her a small order on the house. That was very appreciated. Hope to be back soon.

The food is very good but I think they need to change the prices on their menu . Pizza rolls are priced at 8.25 and they say its 9 dollars. So a update menu with the right prices would be nice

I have to say that I love their calzones and all of the options. Not to mention the pizza by the slice as well as canoli. Only wish they were open every day. It's kind of a gamble so you can't count on them and not always able to get someone to answer the phone for an order.

What a great place! We stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant as we were driving through town and we are sooooo glad we did! The food was delicious and homemade - loved the pizza crust! And the people were amazing! Highly recommended!!!!!

Called to order takeout and asked for some suggestions for wing sauces as we are not from the area and they were happy to suggest a couple of their most popular. I would definitely come back here. The pizza was good, as were the wings. My favorite was definitely the sweet and sassy sauce. The staff was also excellent in getting us every thing we needed.

I had a slice of white pizza w/ bacon and it was wonderful. Large portion, great flavor, served hot. I also had some garlic knots and they were flavorful, moist, well cooked and perfectly topped. Finally I had a slice of meat stuffed pizza. That was a first for me and the only way I can describe is if someone pulled a favorite flavor from my head and said this is what it looks like. Again the portion was large and I was not even able to finish it. It was so good I opted to take the remainder home. I will bring my friends and family here for more visits.

Very good pizza. I had a Sicilian slice because there weren’t any cheese slices available. I’m not a big fan of Sicilian but I took a slice anyhow. It was very good. This place was nice. My sister and her friend had lunch here after her graduation. The food took quite a while, but that may have been because of graduation day. Nothing we had was homemade. Meatballs tasted like microwaved frozen. The sauce on my ziti was terrible. Threw both dinners out, but I did eat the garlic knots and the wings were good.

5 stars for the garlic knots. The chicken Alfredo brought it down quite a bit. We ordered via phone on a Sunday evening. It took about 40 minutes to be ready. All of the inside staff was friendly. Again, the Alfredo wasn't worth the $16 or so and I believe it was $2 extra for mushrooms and there weren't many in it. The portion size was pretty good, however the taste just wasn't there. I would stick to their pizza and knots!

I will go back for the pizza without hesitation. If you like traditional thin crust, they have nailed it, crust, sauce cheese all great. Now the reason for the 3 rating. The cheese”steak”., you don’t want to order. Roll solid 8 out of ten. Amount of onions 9.5 out of 10. The onions were pretty big chunks as opposed to to thinly sliced so that detracted and the sauté on the onions was close but they needed more time. Cheese, non typical mozzarella, not my first choice but worked and the amount was good. Moving onto the “steak”. No seasoning. Amount pitiful. The real challenge was figuring out out exactly what the “steak” was. Unlike any other “meat” I have ever had on a cheese steak. I will go with the assumption that it was beef, hopefully for a bovine, but cheese steak meat it was not. Cheese “steak, overall gets a 3 out of 10. Pizza hell yes, mystery meat cheese steak, hell no.

Only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because at least one thing I ordered was actually warm. Garlic knots were cold and nearly hard as stones. Wings had no flavor and were barely warm. The "pepperoni roll" was little more than cheese and breading with a very thin layer of pepperoni in it, and was full of so much grease, it filled the bottom of a plate. The buffalo fries were soggy and seemed like they had been sitting for 20 minutes. We place this order for pick up and picked it up only a couple minutes past the time we were told to. If bad food wasn't bad enough they didn't even give us our full order and had to go back to get the rest. I don't know if we went on a bad night or if all these other people have been fooled on what is actually good food, but we will not be eating here again.

As for the food their garlic knots are the size of golf balls plus paid extra for sauce( don't they normally come with sauce) , portions are VERY small, and do not come with bread or salad, for the price. We had a child's spaghetti and was charged $4.00 for sauce, PLUS charged for sauce on boneless wings, BEWARE OF All THE EXTRA CHARGES. Typical college town pizza place.

Thought this place was going to be different but its the same BS thick doughy pizza that sergis and the gas station sell. Would rather eat a DiGiorno. Born and raised near NYC and this is not N.Y. pizza. The week they opened I stopped in and had a few slices. It was thin, crispy and delicious. Not sure where they deviated but 2 pies later, will never order again. I even told them the first pie I got was pretty terrible compared to what they had at opening. The lady swore it would be a good pizza this time. Was even worse than the first.

Updated for Little Italy 01/21/19 Giving 1 star is over rated. First, allow me to state that I am very disappointed with the restaurant owner. We live over 3 hours away and we purposely came to the area to find a wedding caterer to feed 60 people for our simple outdoor wedding for 2019. We’ve been in contact with her through email and phone calls to do taste testing, and to ensure that she can cater on our exact wedding day. She said that she would charge us by the pan of food which is what she had on her catering menu. She also said that she caters all the time and this wouldn’t be an issue. If we want food that is not on her menu like mashed potatoes and a simple beef dish, she would make it for us and just charge us of what it would take to feed 60 people. I’ve asked her if there are any extra fees I should be aware of. She said that she would not charge anything extra but tipping the driver for delivering the food would be appreciated. All she had to do is drop off the food and leave. After weeks of communicating with the restaurant owner, my fiancé and I went to Little Italy Restaurant located at 107 Main St. Canton NY 13617 on Sept 20, 2018 to do taste testing. We got a sample size of tortellini Alfredo which is good, 4 meatballs as big of a size of a quarter, small chicken breast that’s a little dry, an order of chicken parm that’s completely horrible, 5 small pieces of garlic broccoli which is fine, a salad, sausage, and a tiny plate of ziti. Surprisingly when the bill came, we were charged almost $40 for a small amount of food we got. But we still went ahead and asked the restaurant owner to give us the quote anyways since we’ve spent this time and money to do the food tasting. We’ve given her the details and confirming the exact date once again when she is going to cater. She said that she will be sending us the quote after 1 week. We have called, emailed and texted but she always say that she’s very busy. Finally, 3 weeks later, she texted me and wanting to charge us a MINIMUM of $2500 or else, she would not be interested in catering. The amount of food that we are going to order is not going to be worth $2500. That means she’s charging us over $41 per plate. We did not order filet minion and lobster for our guests. She’s not serving our guests. She’s literally dropping off the food and leave. Nothing more, nothing less. Not only she hasn’t given us the actual breakdown why she wants to charge us $2500 nor being able to justify how she came up with this figure, the worst part is, she has the wrong date of the wedding! Thank goodness, Little Italy wasn’t the only restaurant we did food tasting when we were in this area. We were finally able to find a VERY reputable caterer who’s been in business for more than 20 years that would gladly work with us, who’s professional and charged us a FAIR price. I’m so happy that we did not hire Little Italy. Not only the food was less than mediocre when we ate at this restaurant, we surely wouldn’t want them to deliver the food on the wrong day of our wedding.

Came at 5 ann still waiting on our meals it’s 540 no room for families in the restaurant either waitress said. 20 minutes wait for our stuff an it’s been double that.. just went up and had them put our things in boxes when their done

pizza was amazing however i stood there for 10 minutes in a empty resturaunt with three staff members behind the counter and one lounging out behind me i finally said well if no ones even going to acknowledge me then im leaving i still wasnt acknowledged i had to go outside to call little italy in order to put an order in which was fast however with that many people working and not including the kitchen staff in the back this was totally unacceptable worse customer service of my life doesnt take much to say hey were busy well b with you in a moment or say hi were super busy want to take a seat and ill take your order in a moment nothing not any kind of reaction that i was standing there even absultly sad

50$ for a pizza and wings and the wings were sauce less and trash save your money for 50$ what a joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣 to bad all the other pizza places were closed this evening what a dump charging 50$ for this hogwash , pizza was okay at least

I was expecting a freshly made warm order of garic knots and I was extremely disappointed when I picked up my food and was cold and dry. I respecfully called and simply asked if that's how they usually serve them and owner got defensive and said they are room temperature (they were cold to the touch) and offered to warm them up for me and I said I'd rather get a refund. First my boyfriend went in and he came back out still holding the knots saying she was being rude and I was shocked. I went in myself and asked again for a refund because the food was not what I wanted because the whole point of getting take out was to have fresh out the oven food on the go. I would have bought frozen garlic bread and cooked it in my own oven over reheated bread. I was not trying to be a problem customer but the woman was almost yelling at me as soon as I walked through the door and I do not appreciate how I was spoken to and I also left with no refund being told the card company was putting her on hold for 50 minutes so Im not sure when I will be getting my money back but I will be sticking to the knots from NY pizzaria. I would not have written this review if i was not treated so poorly please do better

Canton Little Italy: My best friend hired this business to cater their wedding in August 2025. They began planning in December 2024 with this venue. The deposit required was 50%, but they paid 90% upfront to finalize plans. A month before the wedding, they reached out to confirm details and received no response. When the owner finally replied, she stated she was “busy” and later added unexpected charges for delivery and setup — costs that were not disclosed in the original quote. Understandably, this caused stress for the couple, who had already budgeted based on the original agreement. When they asked for a breakdown of what had already been paid for, the owner responded rudely, saying it would take her “hours” to prepare and refused to provide clear answers. When the groom attempted to resolve the matter in person, the owner raised her voice, used inappropriate language, and refused to offer either a compromise or refund. She also told them it was “on them” to figure out how to get the food on their wedding day if they did not want to pay the additional fees. On the day of the wedding, my husband volunteered to pick up the food so the couple wouldn’t have to worry. Despite paying the remaining balance plus gratuity, he was left to load 10 pizzas and 12 trays of food by himself, without assistance — as the owner and staff would not even have the decency to hold the door open. The food was delivered and had to be warmed up before it was even served at the venue. Thankfully, the wedding crew pulled this off for the newlyweds! This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and deeply disappointing, especially for such an important occasion. I cannot recommend this business for catering, events, or even casual dining. Transparency, professionalism, and basic courtesy should be the standard, especially in hospitality — unfortunately, this establishment showed none of these qualities. While I love to support local, choose yourself a business that is professional and has the compassion to work with you, one that is respectful and honest!

We asked for a breakdown for the prices(just like this other couple) and was told that it was a pain. The prices didn’t match their menu prices what so ever. We decided to do go with sergis which they were providing much more food with a way cheaper cost. (Plus sergis is amazing). With sergis- They delivered it hot and delicious- people raved about their meatballs. Whenever I visit sergis now, I’m greeted so kindly despite how insanely busy they are. Sergis understands customer service where little Italy clearly doesn’t understand how they treat customers, will come back to them AND people will hear about it and not want to go. I was even told by the owner I “ruined their whole family vacation” because the weekend of my wedding was the weekend that they usually go. It was a horrible experience to the point I was scared to ever walk into their restaurant again

It's a complete crapshoot when they're open, don't go by anything online. Everyone has an attitude, don't waste your time.

I heard from someone that the staff was worried this evening about seating the local College students for eating inside then to have a worker up front to assist with the food for takeout. Others were inside standing and waiting for their food beyond their expected picked up time. I have worked food service in the past, you don't always have to be fast but you should at least be right. We won't be back. In the ball game, three strikes your out and I gave your place an extra chance and you guys blew it again😠
